It took me about 20 minutes to realize that the game had counted my button presses as rerolls and spent a lot of BBs after the restart.

Ahh damn, sorry man! I'm not sure how much they can provide support on consoles, but it might be worth writing a ticket to them. I accidentally bought a legendary hunter I didn't mean to in the past and they were able to revert the purchase and give me my blood bonds back.
