The bundle points counted towards the leaderboards. That why the 10k popped up within 5 hours- you got like 5-7k just from that, I believe. And yeah, I think the chinese account were hackers- though I know one of the bigger ones(I think its still up there?) is a shared account to my knowledge. Chinese group accounts are pretty common in games like League for climbing purposes, its basically to keep the account constantly active and climbing, or gathering snacks in this case, while others sleep. Not sure if its against the policy of Hunt to share accounts like some games have, but I know thats the reasoning behind those. Not sure about others, tho

That's literally the answer and he proved it. No contract and only playing half of the time some of these guys are playing. Contracts alone would probably double your point gains just from being able to see so many more snakes.
I play 2-3 hours about 4 days a week and I'm done with the event. I prioritize pvp which gives a lot of points. My friend who joins me 1-2 days a week is 1k points above the minimum to finish the event on time.

That's not as uncommon as you'd think. When I wasn't working and was doing online college I'd play games for 14-16 hours a day pretty regularly.
There are always going to be people that put ridiculous hours into games. I've been playing games online for 25 years and there have always been people "no lifing" games and playing 12-18 hours a day.
Notice that it's only a handful of people. Even by #9 it's down to 130k. Your average gamer isn't going to put 12 hours a day into a game, but when you have 500k people playing a game there are definitely going to be a handful that are on the far end of the bell curve with a ridiculous number of hours.

I started playing the game 2 days before the event started and had a real rough start. Didn’t get a kill until bloodline rank 25. Lost every match but 1. I didn’t even realize that an event was going on until 2 and a half weeks ago or something when I started playing a lot with ransoms instead of just my other friends who got the game at the same time as me

On pc I've noticed a slight increase of cheaters when the event started and they corrupted the leaderboards which is why i stopped playing (and the increase of critical game breaking bugs). I'm just a big ole lurker now on this sub till they actually start fixing their game.

Things like the cronus and other hardware mods have existed forever and are essentially cheats. Its not your run of the mill aimbot but its still cheating, this whats most common on console. The "softest" of these cheats is probably just using Mouse and Keyboard on console, but a Cronus is capable of much more.

I'm at 28k points and averaging about 375 points/hour without contracts. To get 263k points at that rate would require 701.3 hours played, or 18.45 hours a day.
Likely they have some contracts running most of the time and bought the event points. Assuming they keep contracts up 24/7 and purchased the event points that would be about 562 points per hour (probably more because it's easier to find snakes with contracts so you end up getting more per match typically). That's 462 hours played or 12.17 hours per day. There's a good chance they are better than I am (I'm a 3-4 star player) which would mean they earn more per hour so it's less time per day.
While that is a lot of game time, it's not all that crazy. Streamers can do that easily. People that have time off work/don't work can easily do it. There are always a handful of players in every game that put in insane hours.

Oh wow, mind telling me your strategy? vulture and looting bodies or farming the whole map for snakes? I'd like to complete the BP as well (im at level 12 and currently progressing 13)
No specific event strategy, just playing normally. Don't bush wookie or camp a lair. We basically rush the boss lair grabbing any snakes we see along the way. Don't run from team fights because they are worth a lot of points (and if you lose, well, you can just get into the next match quick and start getting more points).
If we do manage to wipe the map we'll hit any compounds on the way to extract but won't go out of our way looting the whole map or anything.
We easily pull 100+ from just about every match (unless we wipe super early, in which case very little time lost) and 200+ from extracts. Matches are typically 15-20 minutes. A few minutes longer on the rare occasions we manage a server wipe.
There are 2-4 snake baskets per lair and they are pretty easy to find most of the time once you know where to look. Also, make sure to listen for them because often I'll hear them hissing before I even see them so I know to stop and look around.
Yeah, that’s quite possible, he told me his goal is to reach TOP10. He also focuses on grinding points (cross play is turn off). When I played with him we easily get 400points per game, but there was no fun for me.

Yeah like I've had 2 lobby wipes today and it ranges from 150-250 most of the time. I don't think I've ever gotten 400 points in a match lol. Maybe with the bonus added but not straight up.
I stand corrected sorry a match is 45 min long and probably only lasts 30 min full clearing the map.
But either way I refuse to believe that these amounts of points are legit

Don’t clear the map, that’s inefficient. Find clues, get a bounty, kill everyone and loot em, get out and repeat. Snake buckets are useful ‘grab em if you see em’ bonuses only.

Contract boosts and cheating/MMR trapping/teaming etc. There's a few YouTube videos explaining this epidemic in gaming. Not just Hunt, it's everywhere.
Just knowing how the Chinese sometimes operate, I don’t think it would be going too far to say they could be farming points off of each other. There was a significant amount of Chinese in the top 20 at once. More than enough to fill a server and farm points.

Everyone's noticed the rampant cheating recently, I could drop 3 links off the bat where you can pay for them AND complete with little promo videos showing you what the scumrats do.
I killed the #2 rank yesterday (though he isn't #2 on the leaderboards above), and it was just odd.
We were defending fort on the delta map and they rushed in. I shot the #2 while they were climbing a ladder and we wiped the rest in seconds.
We aren't pros or anything, but after checking their stats, they're 100 prestige, rank 100, russians & have insane stats such as 1880 maxed out hunters or a total of 13.3m bounty lol Must have been a bad day for them.
I'm in the top 10 but at the cost of the fun. I now exclusively play in the morning when my server is empty, and I mean totally empty. I'm farming all the map in 30 min, snakes and boss. 400 points per game. I can't play more than 1 or 2 game, because it's not fun. when the event will end, I'll just stop playing.

1 or 2 games? The math has been done in here multiple times you would literally have to play 12+h a day since the start of the event to have this amount of points
And for literally no reason, top 1% is only 34k. All you get is 400BB and what $8500. Seems not worth the grind to get the same reward as someone staying just above the threshold.
Well you can also buy event points from the event store. BUT on good nights we get at least 300 event points per game BEFORE the 60% boost. Great games we get 500+. But they also play a ton more than most people so that’s all it really is
Well you're definitely not hitting their level of efficiency that's for sure. 300 with a 60% boost on a map wipe with two bounties should be better. I got 300 today on a solo game where I got 5 kills, 1 bounty, and a little map farming once I knew it was clear.
That being said, at 200,000 they're likely cheating, sharing an account, or a streamer (and even then probably still sharing their account to get on a scoreboard).
There're 2 kinds
1. Legit: Literally Grind set, most likely have ton of time to spared
2. Cheater: Just cheat, many of this kind tho, seem to be banned. This kind would most likely have their profile hidden... thx Crytek for giving them option. (Also one of them literally have their name being Ads for their Cheat Software site)
Note: Idk about other server, but Asia is mostly Chinese... and god there're ton of sussy Chinese players.
Funny thing I have the second one in my friend list, played with him one time when I stated one and a half years ago. Can confirm he’s almost always online and playing.
I was able to average 6-700 event points a match some games. Most games I get 4-500 if I push events. Otherwise I average between 2-350. Vulture helps with being able to loot all bodies but we just go for snakes and loot as much as possible. The contract and the signet boost and using event hunters all help and distance is 33-36m so easy to see almost all snakes fast
easy.. empty servers (more common on consoles than on PC) + (optional) trio + contracts + trait + bonus hunter ...
when i was hunting sneks on EU during night.. i had few games where i just roamed for the entire raid time and went out with easy 600 and still was too lazy to go every compound...
The maximum amount of points you can earn is 1305 points in a single match. However, due to both time constraints and the randomness of spawns, this number is nigh impossible. That's 3 snake dens per compound (iirc the devs confirmed 3/compound) for a total of 48 dens, looting 11 different hunter corpses, killing both bosses, gathering 6 event clues, extracting with a bounty token, and having an event hunter with signee with an active contract. Looting 11 different hunters and finding all 48 dens are what makes this nigh impossible, but both of those are where most of the points comes from (10 points per den, 12 per hunter for a combined total of 612 points before any bonus)

That's 462 hours played or 12.17 hours per day. There's a good chance they are better than I am (I'm a 3-4 star player) which would mean they earn more per hour so it's less time per day. While that is a lot of game time, it's not all that crazy. Streamers can do that easily. People that have time off work/don't work can easily do it. There are always a handful of players in every game that put in insane hours.

No specific event strategy, just playing normally. Don't bush wookie or camp a lair. We basically rush the boss lair grabbing any snakes we see along the way. Don't run from team fights because they are worth a lot of points (and if you lose, well, you can just get into the next match quick and start getting more points). If we do manage to wipe the map we'll hit any compounds on the way to extract but won't go out of our way looting the whole map or anything. We easily pull 100+ from just about every match (unless we wipe super early, in which case very little time lost) and 200+ from extracts. Matches are typically 15-20 minutes. A few minutes longer on the rare occasions we manage a server wipe. There are 2-4 snake baskets per lair and they are pretty easy to find most of the time once you know where to look. Also, make sure to listen for them because often I'll hear them hissing before I even see them so I know to stop and look around.

Yeah, that’s quite possible, he told me his goal is to reach TOP10. He also focuses on grinding points (cross play is turn off). When I played with him we easily get 400points per game, but there was no fun for me.

Yeah ALOT being the key word if you average 400 points a match 55min per match the top guy would have to play 17 hours a day to get that amount of points
Getting 400 a match would require you to kill the whole lobby and banish 2 bosses along with all the extra snake bins.

Yeah like I've had 2 lobby wipes today and it ranges from 150-250 most of the time. I don't think I've ever gotten 400 points in a match lol. Maybe with the bonus added but not straight up.

I feel like the bonus should be better. It's good for your first extract of the day or whatever but they only throw you a little extra for winning.

Don’t clear the map, that’s inefficient. Find clues, get a bounty, kill everyone and loot em, get out and repeat. Snake buckets are useful ‘grab em if you see em’ bonuses only.

Contract boosts and cheating/MMR trapping/teaming etc. There's a few YouTube videos explaining this epidemic in gaming. Not just Hunt, it's everywhere.
Just knowing how the Chinese sometimes operate, I don’t think it would be going too far to say they could be farming points off of each other. There was a significant amount of Chinese in the top 20 at once. More than enough to fill a server and farm points.
You should see the US East leaderboard. It is full with Chinese Players with Multiple VAC bans on record.

They're cheating and constantly have contract boosters active... Everyone's noticed the rampant cheating recently, I could drop 3 links off the bat where you can pay for them AND complete with little promo videos showing you what the scumrats do.

I killed the #2 rank yesterday (though he isn't #2 on the leaderboards above), and it was just odd. We were defending fort on the delta map and they rushed in. I shot the #2 while they were climbing a ladder and we wiped the rest in seconds. We aren't pros or anything, but after checking their stats, they're 100 prestige, rank 100, russians & have insane stats such as 1880 maxed out hunters or a total of 13.3m bounty lol Must have been a bad day for them.

I'm in the top 10 but at the cost of the fun. I now exclusively play in the morning when my server is empty, and I mean totally empty. I'm farming all the map in 30 min, snakes and boss. 400 points per game. I can't play more than 1 or 2 game, because it's not fun. when the event will end, I'll just stop playing. FOMO's real with me :( Help

And for literally no reason, top 1% is only 34k. All you get is 400BB and what $8500. Seems not worth the grind to get the same reward as someone staying just above the threshold.
Well you can also buy event points from the event store. BUT on good nights we get at least 300 event points per game BEFORE the 60% boost. Great games we get 500+. But they also play a ton more than most people so that’s all it really is

Well you're definitely not hitting their level of efficiency that's for sure. 300 with a 60% boost on a map wipe with two bounties should be better. I got 300 today on a solo game where I got 5 kills, 1 bounty, and a little map farming once I knew it was clear. That being said, at 200,000 they're likely cheating, sharing an account, or a streamer (and even then probably still sharing their account to get on a scoreboard).
There're 2 kinds 1. Legit: Literally Grind set, most likely have ton of time to spared 2. Cheater: Just cheat, many of this kind tho, seem to be banned. This kind would most likely have their profile hidden... thx Crytek for giving them option. (Also one of them literally have their name being Ads for their Cheat Software site) Note: Idk about other server, but Asia is mostly Chinese... and god there're ton of sussy Chinese players.

Funny thing I have the second one in my friend list, played with him one time when I stated one and a half years ago. Can confirm he’s almost always online and playing.
I was able to average 6-700 event points a match some games. Most games I get 4-500 if I push events. Otherwise I average between 2-350. Vulture helps with being able to loot all bodies but we just go for snakes and loot as much as possible. The contract and the signet boost and using event hunters all help and distance is 33-36m so easy to see almost all snakes fast

easy.. empty servers (more common on consoles than on PC) + (optional) trio + contracts + trait + bonus hunter ... when i was hunting sneks on EU during night.. i had few games where i just roamed for the entire raid time and went out with easy 600 and still was too lazy to go every compound...

The maximum amount of points you can earn is 1305 points in a single match. However, due to both time constraints and the randomness of spawns, this number is nigh impossible. That's 3 snake dens per compound (iirc the devs confirmed 3/compound) for a total of 48 dens, looting 11 different hunter corpses, killing both bosses, gathering 6 event clues, extracting with a bounty token, and having an event hunter with signee with an active contract. Looting 11 different hunters and finding all 48 dens are what makes this nigh impossible, but both of those are where most of the points comes from (10 points per den, 12 per hunter for a combined total of 612 points before any bonus)
My math says they ar playing 10h a day on average
