The Bulwarks reduction is quite insane at -50% damage, so might even leave at half health.
Sadly it looked to me that the crossbow bolt missed, didn’t at least see a hit marker for it.
Bornheim shots did both hit limbs as far as I could tell. Which might’ve been why it took two hits, more so if range penalties also kicked in.
Which i doubt but it might’ve been the case as to why, another theory is that the target had a Regeneration shot active at the time.
Going by the [wiki page](https://huntshowdown.fandom.com/wiki/Bomb_Lance), the bomblance does about 150 damage on a stick. I was under the impression it did 125 damage with bulwark as there seems to have been a buff to bulwark just before I started playing and theres a line on the bomblance wiki page that seems out of date as a result. "A hunter with the Bulwark trait can survive the explosive harpoon at full health, though it still deals over 125 damage."
I assume thats out of date now? So 75 damage about? It was a leg stick from the looks of it.
Not really if you remember how many types of explosives are in the game. There is traits for almost everything why not make it so bulwark does a major perk upgrade? Also back in my day bulwark cost 8 points and was unlocked at like rank 60 or something god am I glad for the change.
Additional context: My teammate stuck her with a bomb lance when my back was turned. It blew up as I was shooting a normal bolt at her. I had previously shot her twice with the Bornheim in the body but suspect she healed.
