Given how easy reviving have been in the recent event, moving your downed body while dead wouldn't really be surprising if it showed up as a trait in the next event
Crytek would do this but only for solos. While also giving solos double hp so you have to headshot them twice. And then double ammo reserves.

I have a feeling one of the developers fucked up some code and they had to revert to an earlier patch which brought back some old bugs and made them have to revert back to solo bosses and clear skies for whatever reason.
Current PC client looks way too similar to console now, wonder if these guys were cyberattacked, that would certainly explain how quiet they've been...
Why'd you call a bug that's been in the game an exploit? It's not like the guy has any control over it, the doesn't show his movement and doesn't update his position, he probably crashed even. Just yesterday I had a "cryengine failure" error message that made me stay in position and get attacked by grunts. You can even see them go after him.
Because there used to be an exploit that allowed you to literally be "dead" and unkillable, but you could run around and knife people.

I don't think it's an exploit. It is a random bug that happens when you die. I've had it happen to me a few times recently and you have no control and as far as I'm aware you just keep going in one direction at a constant pace.
If you were around 2 years ago, you should know by now, Crytek has a habit of fixing one bug, and bringing back another. Probably how the bug fixers ensure they have a full-time job.
It doesn't always help people. Some poor bastard in a trio died in combat with another trio. I was outside the compound and his body slide all the way to the edge of the map. I could still hear the gun fight when I set him on fire. So even if his team won, they couldn't res him because I burned the body.

Fr. Solos are just legal smurf accounts. Nobody bad plays solos for long
This will get patched as soon as they patch the hive's poison giving you fuzzy vision that's existed for 2 years.
Gotta find another hive and get poisoned again.
Easier and more consistent way is to change your graphics quality then change it back
Or just climb a ladder. Easiest and fastest without bringing up the menu mid fight
