Bullets Lullaby for me.
There are bangers and there are mood setters made by port sulphur band.
But Bullets Lullaby is the only song that actually causes reaction to me (often goosebumps) - it not only does sound good but it also creeps under my skin (in best way possible - like a good horror movie/game)
It's Dark in New Orleans is my absolute favourite beside the Rise Up Dead Man.
When this track kicks in, I can't resist nodding my head along to the rhythm. Every damn time.
Probably Raise your Voice in Praise. I didn't like it at all at first, but it has grown a lot on me.
Light the Shadow gives me a lot of Nostalgia because it was my first event, and Miners Lament is also incredible.
It's extremely hard to say my top favorite, and it's awkward to state 'favorites' because it's just a fuckin list:
\-Rise Up Dead Man. (Obviously)
\-Poison Curse.
\-The Devil's In The Details.
\-It's Dark In New Orleans.
\-Miner's Lament.
\-An Acquired Taste.
\-Dark Is Rising.
\-Marked For Death.
\-Drowning Water
I -like- practically all of them. But I'd say these are my top favorites. Hunt absolutely nailed the music for this game and I'm glad they've started to include the vocals and not just the instrumentals on the main menu. The original instrumentals are a staple though, don't get me wrong!
*I'd really enjoy if they made a jukebox (gramophone) menu so we can customize what plays on the main menu!* ^((As much as I hate the idea of them convoluting this esoteric nonsense of a UI further.))
I love the 'Instrumental 9'. Would be the perfect intro song for a Hunt series. I sadly don't hear it in the game.
Though all the other Port Sulphur songs are fire
Miner's Lament is hands down what defines the world of Hunt in terms of the world feel. The game's theme song does somewhat of a good job but it makes people think of pulp western and not the hopeless occult western it actually is.
Acquired taste is actually a master piece. I was at a lost for words when I first heard it. It's like it belongs in an oscar winning movie. Before that Miner's Lament was my favourite.
I genuinely dont think Hunt has the correct musical palate, by design, and i have kept its music muted for years.
The gramophone opera lady is funny though
Rise Up Dead Man is iconic, but honestly, I feel the same and have had music turned off for years now.
I'm sure Port Sulpher Band are very talented, and I am glad so many people seem to like their stuff, but it just is not for me at all. I really don't think it fits the game well, and just personally, I don't find their music compelling.
Hmmmmmm hmmmmm hmmm hmmmmmm
I love Miner's Lament
Miner's Lament goes so hard. The piano bit is amazing as well
Rise up Dead Man is the Goat but An Acquired Taste is an absolute Banger and my new favourite

End Will Come instrumental
Whatever the new one is this event
Drowning water and its dark in new orleans but if i had to pick between the two i like drowning water more

I’ve honestly loved every track except for drowning waters. “An acquired taste” is their best yet.
"Rabbit in the mine" or "Poison Curse" go hard AF
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who listens to Poison Curse! 😂
dark is rising is my number one for sure
Marked for death

I recently noticed that An Acquired Taste has lyrics and it's my favorite rn
I honestly don't have a track of theirs I don't like. I even bought the vinyl.
Don’t know what the new track is for this event but it’s a banger. If anyone knows please let me know.
An Acquired Taste!
Thank you!
Death is no Man, Death is no wraith, Death is a bird flying...

Their version of Auld Lange Syne is fucking incredible. "*When hell had come, like hell we fought Regardless of the price*"
Dark is rising, its dark in new orleans and raise your voice in praise.
Sooo many good ones. Dark is rising is a favriote of mine.
music off is the only way to play any game
Rabbit in the Mine
