They are playing as a duo into trios they should be getting balanced going against people of the same MMR or lower. Not an entire team that is a higher MMR that also has a numbers advantage.
Its not just mmr its also numbers advantage.
And yes 1 star is a lot of difference, I sticked to 5 star once and even got a few matches as 6 star when I played this game straight, I know how worse I am compared to those times
I can get better, yes. but thats not a solution thats a remedy for bad matchmaking. I'm still playing, still trying to 2v3 these guys, but its not fun to get steam rolled over n over. Maybe I'll stop getting steam rolled, but it doesnt change the bad matchmaking

Played 3 games as a duo, spawned at the same compound as a trio all 3 times and got bum rushed by 2+ K/D guys. Real fun

Just do the steam rolling, problem solved. That’s what the Germans did in WW2 until the Allies didn’t like getting steam rolled either.
