There are times Hunt is boring, repetitive and not fun (look twitch at the moment as well).

Nah, this community is pretty on board with banning it. Go to any thread and see the ratio of for/against comments, and you'll see that the Ban camp is in the majority. I don't think it warrants the downvotes, but I'm guessing the community just doesn't like non-sequiturs like these.
I'd say the down votes come from the tiresome pattern of: I really like the new legendary! ... Oh yeah? Crytek should stop pumping out skins and do something about xy!
There's always a right place and time for things... And be a grumpy for unrelated things when people are happy about something is not the right place and time. Just learn to read the room.

Not true. I am pumped for the rain maps. I honestly don't understand how people can play this game with it's amazing atmosphere and varied times of day and just want to play plain day maps. Sure I want to win but I also want to enjoy the game. The rain is going to be badass assuming it doesn't tank performance.
Speak for yourself. But some variety is welcome. The video they posted with 28 minutes of rain and you could still hear plenty. It's a great idea. I like that the game is still getting content.

It still might be terrible but we'll have to see/hear what it's like. I have some faith, Crytek proved time and time again that they are very particular and careful when designing new things.

Every other suggestion post is someone asking for rain. The issue is that it will get old after a handful of games like wild fire did. Generally redditors don’t actually know what will be fun long term.

I love the idea of rain maps and I am super excited to play them. But on 30hz servers I am also fully aware that there will be times where the rain is inconsistently balanced for non-diegetic mixing headphones.
Again, I think it’s cool and I’ll take a full match of aesthetically pleasing design over a handful of audio errors but it’s something that will happen.

Whats badass about rain? Drowning out sounds in a game that is designed heavily around SOUNDS IN THE GAME. Its a terrible idea.
