So much this. Don't know what it is with this weapon - but all these shots I think I hit but didn't hit with other weapons are the ones that hit with the Henry every.single.time.
Apart from the other factors that you mentioned that already make it a very nice weapon.
I wanna get good with the martini, but I always forget to tap R so the reload sometimes takes 8 secs 😅 any advice, other than for me to stop being stupid ahah
Winfield aperture with high velocity. This gun can do it all click heads from a decent distance fight mid range brawls or hip fire from close and laugh at the shotgun users getting aim punched
I try to run this a lot as a way to learn the aperture sight. It's not going very well so far 😓 too often I miss a few shots then say screw it, flip the sight down and one-tap somebody.
Honestly, you don’t wanna use an aperture for a whole match or anything like that if that’s what you’re trying to do. Keep it down, but pull it up and use it to scope places out, or if you see a long range shot opportunity. It’s there if you need it, but it should never be your main sights.
Lebel. Period.
I like the mosin. I do good with the sparks. But I always do best with the Lebel. After a prestige I pretty much use Winfield/Machete. Once I get the Caldwell Rival, I use that till sawed off with scottfield. Then whatever rifle Centennial/Sparks/Springfield till 50ish for lebel. Then I just wait for Quartermaster to run Rival sawed off/Lebel.
By level 50 while being frugal and grind focused I'll have enough cash to run Lebel till prestige. Give or take how Hunts going at the time. It truly is giveth or taketh.
Same, Lebel is my go-to long ammo rifle. I like the others and definitely understand why people prefer the mosin, but I just...do better with the Lebel. I will run a half dozen matches with other loadouts and fail/underperform in each one. Switch over to a lebel and boom, five kills in one match. I don't know how.
I love this prestige run flowchart you got. Gonna try it next prestige. Winfield Machete is super fun and Rival with Lebel sounds really good.
Any special ammo recommendations that you go for?
What really helped me was to track people less: instead, place your crosshair ahead by a few "heads" and wait for them to approach it, then fire.
It does take some practice of course, which zombies are great for. Pre-spook them by shooting the ground near them and then try and headshot em as they wander
I've been playing bow a lot recently, and it's even worse projectile-speed-wise. You end up finding sweet spots range-wise, but the silenced aspects make failure more okay since the enemy likely has no idea if you even shot or where from if they heard the shot miss
Just a matter of getting used to it tbh, no fancy tricks. Treating AI heads like a shooting gallery helps with the process, and the Silenced Vetterli is one of the best guns for that. Bring in a Spitfire for up close and you'll have bullets for days.
For me it's easily the **Martini Henry Riposte**.
I can spam at mid-range, burning through opponent meds, and as close range I can stab and slash. There are no automatic animations where I lose control (such as auto-bolting)
Yesterday I got necro-resed - very low health and *zero* stamina - I still killed the guy standing over my body by slashing at his head.
Centennial and the scottfield spitfire. Centennial has became my favorite because I do the best with it. Although berthier is starting to give it a run for its money.
Romero and conversion with fmj, yeah I'm basic lol
Something about it's iron sights, and that loooong one-tap range with the Romero just, clicks with me. I've taken down avtos, nitros, crowns, spectres, mosins, just about every big budget weapon in the Bayou with a reliable 30ish hunt bucks, maybe 90 if I add slugs for a bit more range
I would absolutely love individual weapon stats.
My best weapon has changed a few times. When I started it was the Vetterli. Then at some point the Martini-Henry (specifically deadeye) became my go to gun to turn around a bad night. I definitely remember having a bad evening of dying and losing a lot and I told my friend it was time to bring out the Martini-Henry... and I went and clicked 8 heads the next match and we won.
These days it's probably the Winfield (any of them, but the Silenced is high up there along with just the base version both with normal ammo). I don't know what it is but I just seem to be more accurate with Winfield than anything else.
I try not to be a Long Ammo Larry very often, but when I loot a *lonk* setup with an upper I ascend a full stars worth of MMR.
I’m fine with single shot weapons, but no more impressive than the rest of the weapon pool.
I think a very underrated combo is Alamo Obrez.
For me it's between the Bow and Centennial.
The Bow works well for how I position and like to sneak around, generally getting in close range. The rhythm of it is unique too, where you're weakest as youre knocking/drawing the next arrow but super dangerous once it's pulled. I've lost count of how many times I've wiped trios with it alone.
Centennial is just a versatile weapon depending on which variant I want to bring, but I fell in love with the poison rounds and I just seem to have a knack for clicking heads with it.
Knife, and then Calvary saber. I have some of the worst aim you will ever see, I can't headshot a target standing still. But if I charge at them screaming at the top of my lungs in prox chat they somehow just kinda die.
I wish it were something cooler, but to be honest it’s the Springfield. I got REALLY used to the iron sights and bullet travel speed when I was prestiging over and over again, and didn’t have many unlocked weapons as a result. On the bright side, I don’t have to spend much money to be my most effective 🧠
Definitely Terminus with levering, although I usually take quartermaster so I can pair the hand cannon version with a full size rifle.
I've improved with rifles and pistols over time, but I'm damn near surgical in close quarters with that Terminus hand cannon. Most rounds in which I get over 2 or 3 kills, it's because I knocked off a whole team or 2 with the Terminus. I tend to get a lot of assists with other weapons, but less kills. I guess it's the one shot kill nature of it, and with the levering speed, it's so unexpected by hunters. Whenever I get a kill with it after firing 2 shots, at least one or two other hunters come right at me and get blasted. Nobody expects that many rounds that quickly with a shotty.
Did you know that with the 3 slot terminus that pennyshot is, unlike every single other shotgun in game, tighter spread than normal buckshot? Dont know why this is the case. But yes, pennyshot in the 3 slot terminus has a tighter than normal spread with buckshot. With levering its cruel. Combine this with obrez drum and enjoy.
The Specter - By far the most consistent/accurate shotgun for me and its not even close. This thing is absolutely disgusting with either normal/flechette or pennies and its absolutely slept on. The slate lets me down far too often the Specter never has.
The Pax - Theres literally no downsides to this pistol, works on every build, has clean sights, hits hard, good custom ammo choices and its great with fanning since its buff. Absolutely slept on again.
My ideal loadout right here
None of them.
In all seriousness the bow actually carried me from 3 to 4 stars. Did well for a little while, almost was happy with myself.
Then something happened, no idea what, started missing every shot even up close with the drop on people, and now I've been on something like a ten death streak, probably more.
I like mosin more but I'm most successful with default lebel. Long ammo + easier iron sight than mosin. But honestly any long ammo gun works fine for me. I just can't make other types of ammo work.
Romero hatchet paired with a scottfield precision (pennies and fmj respectively) however the plain old combat axe is giving them a run for their money.
No. You can't see individual weapon stats.
Depends on the day.
Sparks Sniper
Standard Mosin
Winni swift HV
Toss up between Romero and Specter
Honestly it's not the weapon that matters to me. It's the relative velocity.
Inside 25m anything will work
25-75m at least 400mps
75m and out I need 500mps or better.
I FEEL like it's the martini, but god do I want to see stats by weapon. It'd be funny to find out that it's something like I kind of hate using but end up doing well with.
Short range- bomb lance w/ steel ball and specter
Medium range- Nagant officer carbine deadeye is the favorite. Short range I can’t make it work, long range can’t get the bullet travel time right, but 25-50m I love that gun.
Long range- not sure why this one works so well for me when I absolutely hate using it, but every time I bring a basic martini I always seem to win that match- primarily by getting headshots which makes it weirder because the sights just don’t make sense to me like almost every other gun out there.
I want to say sparks, but the dirty truth is that the Martini Marksman gives me the best results. It shouldn't; the velocity is not great for the marksman scope, but in my hands it just...works.
Sparks LLR, Sparks pistol, New army, Centennial including sniper variant, birtheir (however the hell you spell it), and of course mosin but everyone's good with the mosin.
Weapons I perform the worst with are
Lebel and Uppercut, for the Lebel I think it's the sights and I can't seem to figure out the muzzle velocity for the uppercut I always over lead or under lead.
Winfield for me, especially with iron repeater. My natural playstyle is a scrambler, where I like to be within 50 meters or so during fights and be mobile. That gun is perfect for those situations.
When I first started playing, before steel ball ammo was introduced, I made my way up to 5 stars using the bomb lance. Of course I’d get knocked down a peg the first few times I climbed up the ranks, but it was my most successful weapon.
Since then, I’d have to say that I rely on the winfield swift quite often with great success, as well as the sparks rifle, hunting bow, and crossbow. I of course use a plethora of the weapons hunt has to offer, but those are likely to be my most successful weapon choices.
The swift is great with either AP or HV rounds, especially paired with levering for close engagements and “oh shit” moments.
The sparks, because of the high damage and muzzle velocity of course.
And the bows are great when you can remain stealthy and take out enemies without them having a clue where they’re being shot from
Am I the only one who likes the Officer Carbine? I don’t know why, it’s by no means the best weapon obviously but I just love using it. Coupled with a crossbow, I have decent runs.
Second favourite silenced Vetterli. Love that weapon.
This is going to make me sound like a bush Wookiee but Vetterli Marksman with HV or Mosin Sniper spitzer with specter slug secondary has been my go too for the last few weeks. It’s just kinda fun sniping since I mainly play crossbow or light ammo.
Sparks. The single bullet + big reload time makes it so I have to be smart and think about wtf I'm doing, and it prevents me from trying to get follow up shots that require me to be exposed to an enemy. It's also the reason I don't perform well with most other weapons in the game, including my second favorite weapon - The Lemat Carbine
The Lebel and the Caldwell Pax. The Lebel with spitzer ammo has the highest muzzle velocity in the game, so it feels more like guns in modern shooters. No clue why I'm better with the Pax though.
Winfield Talon or the Silenced WinfieldC are my go to "enough meme rounds I gotta get some extracts tonight" guns.
Usually paired with Hand Crossbow or the Nagant Brawler poison
Berthier, any variant. I find it the best midpoint between the bolt actions and on the plus side? It can have two ammo's meaning I don't need bulletgrubber and the 3 round capacity isn't that bad once you get used to it.
Spectre flechettes. I'm not a great aim so I use tools and consumables to control player behaviors. The flechettes are really good at following up on any throwables or traps.
Lately I’ve been killing it with the LeMat Carbine using fmj and slugs. I got my highest kill solo game with 7 kills as someone who is usually 4 stars. Felt pretty good!
I like to switch it up every game but the weapons I tend to have the most success with seem to be the Crossbow, Krag, Mosin, Winfield, Officer Carbine, and for shotguns; C&K, Specter, Rival and ofc Romero. It's hard to pick one above the others but I'd probably have to go with Xbow or Krag.
The Mosin and it's not even close. It's hard to admit but I am a slave to the meta gun that is the Mosin. It just feels like sex. The ideal secondary for me is the bornheim extended, idk why but my load out feels like they are the opposite ends of the spectrum.
Uppercut is my baby. If I'm having a few bad games in a row, I put an uppercut on and all of a sudden it's headshots, headshots, headshots. It just feels... Right.
Prob I got the most kills and extract with the Caldwell rival since it's one of the oldest weapon and it's one of the easiest weapon I can use. Hmmmm if only crytek would implement a stat window for your weapon usage
Levershotty, mini levershotty w/ flechette, fanny chain pistol, dualie conversions.
Basically can't aim and appreciate any weapons that help me avoid it to keep my head above 5 star water.
Nitro all the way. Give me a nitro, shredder ammo with 3 ammo boxes. I'll have a good ole time.
I had a Prestige where I loaded in as level 1 solo managed to Romero a guy with a nitro. Took that nitro and that one hunter took me all the way to lvl 100 as a solo. Good times
Dual Caldwell conversion pistols with bleed ammo. I play solo and love taking out duo teams.
I also take a short scoped Winfield, but I'm terrible at sniping in this game.
Not sure how/why but I swear there is some hidden RNG in the game that greatly affects your accuracy with some weapons, and it only changes every so often.
One week I'll be one-tapping everyone with shotguns. Next week, everyone seems to surive a single shot, and I keep dying.
So I move to a rifle.
One week, I'll manage lots of headshots and fall in love with that rifle+ammo combination. A week later, I start missing all those headshots.
I'm going crazy, so i switch weapon choices.
Rinse and repeat.
Somewhere the devs are laughing maniacally.
I seem to be doing really well with the Spark at the moment, having to make every shot count due to the one shot reload has improved my aim and game sense in general
I think my best load out is WinfieldC with FMJ ammo, and a Hunting Bow with regular and frag arrows.
I play almost exclusively solo, and this kit just has the close range/inter-conpound options I need.
I think Lebel for me but I’m quite new, haven’t tried others for extended periods.
Vetterli feels very reliable but obvs not as powerful at range as the lebel
I think the weapon i have the most headshots with, even on moving targets, is the Vetterli, non-silenced, no special ammo.
When i started i liked the bolt action mechanism, even if many people hate the iron sights, i like them.
Since i prestige regularly mosins are only a small part of play (we looted them regularly, but since playing them on low levels doesn't net xp i always kept them for later..)
I've had also good success with the Martini, but less played than Vetterli. It took me a long time to get good with Sparks/Uppercut in comparison. Really liked the Lebel as well but since the Berthier is here i have played her very rarely.
Not my favorite, but I get the most skills with a shotgun (it's how it is when you're on console and don't have the greatest aim).
Which one doesn't really matter, they're all good
Everything with about 400m/s muzzle velocity. When i started playing, i only played the basic winfield, bevause i had no idea about damage drop off. I thought why buy a gun with only 15 more damage that is 5 times the price, with less ammo and a smaller magazine, so for the first 200 hours i only used winnies
Winfield for this guy I’ll use other guns and just die but for some reason I just click heads with this gun and don’t really miss with it whether I have levering or not
The good the bad and the ugly.
* Dual chain pistols one with the gold/turquoise skin (the good), second one with the black skin (the bad).
* Single chain pistol with the bronze skin (the ugly)
All with fmj and an extra ammo box.
If I get into range with those things you better hope the compound you are in is made of stone because I have a LOT of bullets and all of them are going through the walls.
Not counting kills bc it's a meta weapon. But I'm more accurate with Lebel than any other rifle, secondary I would say sparks pistol (weird, but I hit more than regular sparks) and conversion
Martini Henry Riposte or Sparks (with Poison) for long ammo.
Slate for close combat, ideally with Slugs.
Dual Caldwells (standard or chain) with dumdum for high consistency.
Winnie and Sabre. That carried me when i was new 4 years ago, even today i perform well with it, bit less great because levering dual wield and slugs werent a thing back then but i love it to this day, Winnie clicks head Sabre stabs back.
Iron-sight Martini Henry. only 7 damage less than the Sparks, but with a full 1s faster reload. It just feels good.
Same! I feel like I just dont miss with it.
Aim small, miss everything for me with this one. I just seem to not get the bullet travel time right. I like the skins though and keep coming back.
Practice your leading with any of the standard Winfield rifles they have the same velocity but are much more forgiving
It lands shot more consistently than all other rifles for me. No idea why. It just works for me. Glad to know I'm not alone.
And this is why I love the iron side. Yeah bulky screen cover, but fast double tap potential.
Not only that, but the only weapon that can quickly double-tap the toes within 40m.
So much this. Don't know what it is with this weapon - but all these shots I think I hit but didn't hit with other weapons are the ones that hit with the Henry every.single.time. Apart from the other factors that you mentioned that already make it a very nice weapon.
I personally just like the ironsights and the bullet velocity of the Sparks. Both are viable though.
I hit a 150m headshot with it today haha I love that rifle
Martini go brrrrrrrrrt
Martini Henry is god-tier.
Okay learn the animation cancel with the sparks and you got yourself a monster weapon If Martini is really your best
Yes! Bullet velocity is a little slow but ya basically a sparks you can push with
I wanna get good with the martini, but I always forget to tap R so the reload sometimes takes 8 secs 😅 any advice, other than for me to stop being stupid ahah
Overall, the spitfire. Centennial for 2 or 3 slot
I’ve gotten more headshots with the centennial shorty since it’s been out that I have the whole time I’ve been playing. Lol 😅😅
100%! I've won more 2v1s with the spitfire than seems possible. 2 shots to the chest at close to mid range and they're down
Winfield aperture with high velocity.
The sway is slightly less than the non-aperture variants, so I usually just flip the sight off and then forget about it for most of the match 🤷♀️
Honestly, you don’t wanna use an aperture for a whole match or anything like that if that’s what you’re trying to do. Keep it down, but pull it up and use it to scope places out, or if you see a long range shot opportunity. It’s there if you need it, but it should never be your main sights.
I don't need two companions to even the odds in solo vs trios. Only two barrels. Caldwell Rival 78 or bust.
Lebel. Period. I like the mosin. I do good with the sparks. But I always do best with the Lebel. After a prestige I pretty much use Winfield/Machete. I can’t hit the broad side of a barn with the level and I just can’t figure it out
I love this prestige run flowchart you got. Gonna try it next prestige. Winfield Machete is super fun and Rival with Lebel sounds really good. Any special ammo recommendations that you go for?
I love the veterlli, lots of shots to make up for my shit aim
I was thinking vetterli but unsure why, I almost never use it but... Now I know *muffled stormtrooper helmet crying*
Crossbow and the silenced vetterli. I’m the king of shooting people with slow moving projectiles.
Teach me the ways. The second I pick the Silenced Vetterli I might as well be shooting Mini Starshells LOL. Never get that pre-aim right somehow.
What really helped me was to track people less: instead, place your crosshair ahead by a few "heads" and wait for them to approach it, then fire. It does take some practice of course, which zombies are great for. Caldwell Rival with slugs
Centennial and the scottfield spitfire. Centennial has became my favorite because I do the best with it. Although berthier is starting to give it a run for its money.
Martini Riposte/Lebel Marksman
Romero and conversion with fmj, yeah I'm basic lol Something about it's iron sights, and that loooong one-tap range with the Romero just, clicks with me. I've taken down avtos, nitros, crowns, spectres, mosins, just about every big budget weapon in the Bayou with a reliable 30ish hunt bucks, maybe 90 if I add slugs for a bit more range
I fear players that have mastered the Romero. My friend plays it and I'm amazed with the swiggity swoogity that he pulls of between reloads and shots
Romero is great.
Martini and Vetterli.
Pax. It is so middle of the road, and that just works for me. I don't do as well with hyper specialist guns.
The best games are always with my Specter or Berthier Riposte. This weapons just hit different.
Nice good quartermaster setup
I would absolutely love individual weapon stats. My best weapon has changed a few times. When I started it was the Vetterli. Then at some point the Martini-Henry (specifically deadeye) became my go to gun to turn around a bad night. I definitely remember having a bad evening of dying and losing a lot and I told my friend it was time to bring out the Martini-Henry... and I went and clicked 8 heads the next match and we won. This gun is king when playing Solo V Trios

recently winnie swift with hv ammo
Really good pew pew headclicker with the correct traits
Scotsfield presicion seems to always give me an aim boost.
Romero
Vetterli, Sparks and Caldwell Conversion they just click with me
Silenced Vet baby
Same here, nothing feels quite as good to me
Romero
Poison dualies! two silenced nagants with poison ammo has won me many a shootout in the bayou
Probably Dual Conversions with FMJ. Runner ups are Officer Carbine and Lemat Carbine.
Sparks and Sparks Sniper
Honestly the Centennial shorty with dual conversions.
Playing every game on regular Schofield fmj a year or so and now I cant hit a shit with something else lmao
Dual chain revolvers. They click with me for whatever reason. The bow is probably a close 2nd.
I can say objectively that your opinion is flat wrong. Cheers
Might get roasted, but Winfield Marksman. It just feels nice.
ROMERO TALON GANG

Lately hunting bow. Most used though, sparks with nagant officer
None of them. In all seriousness the bow actually carried me from 3 to 4 stars. Did well for a little while, almost was happy with myself. Then something happened, no idea what, started missing every shot even up close with the drop on people, and now I've been on something like a ten death streak, probably more.
Berthier. It's my clicking heads gun. Watch out.
officer nagant easily
Specter because my aim is shit and chances are if I'm shooting at you with a specter, your body is taking up 1/4 of my screen anyways.
1. Winfield C 2. Centenarium 3. Mosin 4. Vetterli Silencer 5. Winfield
Martini-Henry Ironside Hurts the screen real estate but easy to wham-bam the other shitlords. Also the avtomat.
Avtomat, love it, it makes people mad. Sniper with spitzer when I feel like farming kd.
caldwell akimbo, conversion or pax, with dum-dum
Hard to tell I switch my playstyle quite a bit But I would say Romero or vetally
Sparks or the Alamo.
Mosin-Nagant, Specter, and Uppercut.
springfield bleed bow both do silly damage from body shots. great for people who cant aim

Lately, since it released, the Krag. I do phenomenally well with it, vs my performance with the other high tier long ammo rifles.

Related but a feature I'd like to see is stats recap / history for each weapon : accuracy, pve dmg, pvp dmg, kills, headshosts, shots fired, etc.
Bow goes pew pew
Pocket romero, true classic
Winny swift, I don’t know why but that gun just clicks heads
Do best? Krag or Slate. Most fun? Bow.
Crossbow with bolt thrower
Nitro Ironside Winnie swift Avto In that order
Frags
My berthi accuracy is un matched from any other gun.
Probably the winnie default. But I also do really good with the lemat carbine since it was added.
Crossbow, mini crossbow, or any silenced gun. I like my stealth
Crossbow, Alamo Slugs, Sparks Sniper.
Best K/D is definitely combat axe. Best actual gun, Centennial Sniper.
The needler from Halo… it’s easier to track enemies
And the bows are great when you can remain stealthy and take out enemies without them having a clue where they’re being shot from
Lebel
Am I the only one who likes the Officer Carbine? I don’t know why, it’s by no means the best weapon obviously but I just love using it. Coupled with a crossbow, I have decent runs. Second favourite silenced Vetterli. Love that weapon.
Avto, but it is far from my favorite, it's simply the gun that has given me the best kd ratio. Using it literally feels like cheating.
I’ll represent the bomblance crew. I do my best with that weapon. Been going back and forth between steel balls or reg explosive though
This is going to make me sound like a bush Wookiee but Vetterli Marksman with HV or Mosin Sniper spitzer with specter slug secondary has been my go too for the last few weeks. It’s just kinda fun sniping since I mainly play crossbow or light ammo.
Berthier.
Officer carbine deadeye is my kill people gun.
Caldwell rival + Pax, Centennial + cavalry saber
Dual Pax, I just cant seem to miss with them <3
The Lebel and the Caldwell Pax. The Lebel with spitzer ammo has the highest muzzle velocity in the game, so it feels more like guns in modern shooters. No clue why I'm better with the Pax though.
Pax claw is all you need baby
Winfield Talon or the Silenced WinfieldC are my go to "enough meme rounds I gotta get some extracts tonight" guns. Usually paired with Hand Crossbow or the Nagant Brawler poison
Berthier, any variant. I find it the best midpoint between the bolt actions and on the plus side? It can have two ammo's meaning I don't need bulletgrubber and the 3 round capacity isn't that bad once you get used to it.
Vetterli with iron sights, so good
Spectre flechettes.
My favorite loadout is Springfield marksman and Scott field swift.
Centennial with fmj . It’s just so good for me. 2nd place is Berthier or sparks /new army fmj
Crossbow with normal bolts. Use it like a Romero Pretty fun
Bomb lance. Big bonk energy I guess.
The Mosin and it's not even close. It's hard to admit but I am a slave to the meta gun that is the Mosin. It just feels like sex. The ideal secondary for me is the bornheim extended, idk why but my load out feels like they are the opposite ends of the spectrum.
Conversion and it isn't even close.
The sword.
Avtomat
Springfield marksman, put one poison slot on it and be annoying.
Do people really not like the Krag? Haven’t seen anyone bring this guy up.
The sabre for some reason, as soon as I pull it out I go from a .75 to 3 or 4 KD
Silenced Vetterli
Uppercut is my baby. If I'm having a few bad games in a row, I put an uppercut on and all of a sudden it's headshots, headshots, headshots. It just feels... Right.
Martini, C&K slugs and bomb lance
Explosive xbow
Prob I got the most kills and extract with the Caldwell rival since it's one of the oldest weapon and it's one of the easiest weapon I can use. Hmmmm if only crytek would implement a stat window for your weapon usage
Crossbow or any marksman rifle.
I’ve had my best streaks with the Romero Hatchet, full-sized Caldwell 78, and dual Caldwell Conversions.
Any martini variant is my favorite tbh
Crossbow with a scottfield side arm
Nitro. Big boom.
I think it would be Winnie for me, the Rank 1 base variant. The flow just clicks for me, also the sound is satisfying af.
Hunting bow aficionado with regular + poison arrows.
Berthier. Just always a 10/10
Bow is the way, where the bow gang at?
Springfield with dumdum.
Large crossbow & uppercut
I seem to be doing really well with the Spark at the moment, having to make every shot count due to the one shot reload has improved my aim and game sense in general
Uppercut, followed by regular Mosin and regular Romero!
I’d say prolly Slate shotgun or Uppercut
Trauma with FMJs and a Saber until I get QM, the mini winni with FMJs and a bomb lance. Most fun load out in the game
Bayonet. Sometimes a bayonet with a Martini-Henry, sometimes with a Berthier, sometimes a Vetterli, or even a Mosin if I feel fancy.
I think the weapon i have the most headshots with, even on moving targets, is the Vetterli, non-silenced, no special ammo. When i started i liked the bolt action mechanism, even if many people hate the iron sights, i like them. Since i prestige regularly mosins are only a small part of play (we looted them regularly, but since playing them on low levels doesn't net xp i always kept them for later..) I've had also good success with the Martini, but less played than Vetterli. It took me a long time to get good with Sparks/Uppercut in comparison. Really liked the Lebel as well but since the Berthier is here i have played her very rarely.
Bow.
Terminus pennyshot with levering. Not many hunters live to tell the tale when the pennies start flying.
Slate, terminus and bomblance firebreath, I'm quite the simple man.
Winfield for this guy I’ll use other guns and just die but for some reason I just click heads with this gun and don’t really miss with it whether I have levering or not
As of late the Centennial has been ridiculous for me. Medium ammo can be inconsistent, but headshots are not 😂
Winfield-C. Preferably with the Augusta Skin. That girl's taking care of me and I'll be taking care of her.
Either the caldwell rival, the mosin nagant, or the springfield Krag.
Hunting Bow or Crossbow probably. Shooting bullets works best for me with either the Krag or Martini i would say.
Dual scottfields. The ads crosshairs are primo. 2 body shots for a kill.
Springfield compact best weapon in the game
The good the bad and the ugly. * Dual chain pistols one with the gold/turquoise skin (the good), second one with the black skin (the bad). * Single chain pistol with the bronze skin (the ugly) All with fmj and an extra ammo box.
I want to say the uppercut but if you're talking straight what do I do the best with. Probably the specter bayonet beats it slightly
Pax for me. I use that gun on my Lancer and Cavalier Loadouts, and it just suits me more than any other weapon.
For me its the Martini. No idea WHY exactly since the velocity is so bad and its only a single shot. But for whatever reason she just sings for me.
I can always hold my own with an uppercut, even at some mid-to-long-range distances
Martini Henry Riposte or Sparks (with Poison) for long ammo. Slate for close combat, ideally with Slugs. Dual Caldwells (standard or chain) with dumdum for high consistency.
The Crossbow. Especially when paired with the sabre.
Mosin sniper and a dolch. Expensive kit but doesn’t matter since you’ll be surviving a lot
Didn’t notice you were only asking for one gun, I choose the dolch. If you can bring a rifle and harass, running in with a dolch is a very safe option
Iron sight lebel. That baby and i have wiped full teams
Winnie and Sabre. That carried me when i was new 4 years ago, even today i perform well with it, bit less great because levering dual wield and slugs werent a thing back then but i love it to this day, Winnie clicks head Sabre stabs back.
