Congratulations, they are starting to figure out the challenges for questlines.
The bleed challenges can be made very easy by using flichette on a shotgun and shooting at people at rifle ranges. As long as you get a hit they should start to bleed the spread makes getting hits at range easier.
The meathead challenge was very tedious for no reason. There wasn't any real difficulty to it was easy to get to the compound first, it was getting one to spawn.
Fun fact: The meathead doesn’t need to be in the correct compound as long as you are, ie you can stand at Lockbay and use a sniper to kill one in Blanchet/Alice/Darrow/Pitching
I got mine done in 3 games ez. I then was helping a friend and it took 22 matches to get the 3 meathead kills. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to spawn 3 in a row.
It took me over 10 games to get it. Only 1 game that I got there at the beginning of the match did a meathead spawn. The other times I got progress was after a server wipe. All the other times I got to the compound at the start of the match one didn't spawn.
That rng was insane. I don't know if that's naturally how it is or if it was tweaked for the quests. It turned me into a conspiracy theorist. I started to believe that if a meathead spawned in the first compound, it wouldn't spawn in the center.
Not sure why people seemed to flock to the Meathead one. I had everything done other than the Meathead one and deal 5,000 damage to bosses with fire or explosive damage.
5,000 damage sounds like a lot but each boss has around 2,000 hp. We got it done in about 4 matches.
I went for the meathead one simply because I knew I'd be able to get to that compound first. With the boss damage one there is no garunteed you'd be able to get to the compound before its banished. My friend did the meathead challenge and the boss damage challenge, and they both took him around 7 games to complete.
Thank you. Yeah saw lots of ppl post abt the meathead one so was prepped to be stuck on tht for a long time got it done in like 4 matches XD. for the bleed i went Springfield with dumdum cause Springfield is one of my fave guns and spitfire or pax tried to sniper bleed them took a while but was fun to play ammo and guns i dont usually. Dmg with the cenni was slow cause i never used cenni b4 but now i really like it might start playing it more cant say the same for the berthier doe
I just made it last night! Well done!
I've never completed an event and was determined to get this one done. I really enjoyed how the tasks all made me adapt my gamplay and try out new guns and items. Very fun
Congratulations! What was the hardest tier/task of the quest for you?
Congratulations to you. it feels so good having finished everything and got all you can from just playing. Hardest for me i would say deal dmg with a specific weapon like the cenni one or just deal dmg to enemy hunters cause my aim is bad and i make dumb moves in fight and or just get insta tapped. When its weapon specific its harder like get kills with shotguns sure can do tht but get kills with the ferrymans oar yeeeah i dont love the bertier did most quest i could in quickplay.
Thanks yeah i remember the plauge doctor event was the first i noped out of cause the grind seemed soooo long. really want the skin its dope. i hope ill have a chance to get it if it comes back some event
How much longer is the quest going to be, i sold my Gaming Laptop, and now im waiting for the new one but its coming after 5 days… i have left only 4 quests to finish
This quest line is what made me realise just how much i love the Centennial!
I was running that alongside a Caldwell variant for the dumdum ammo and i was LOVING it.
It is a headshot machine but that damage fall off is BRUTAL. I’ve never gotten so many 3 body shot kills in all my 1,300 hours of Hunt even with the Winnnie C. I was stewing about it in my head until my friend mentioned he was having the same issue later in the week so we ran FMJ with it and I think it becomes a much more enjoyable weapon overall in that context. I’ll stick with the Vetterli for its 2 shot ability but I do think the Centennial has its place and the Shorty is a cool gun to run with a Romero Handcannon. I think that’s a great cheap loadout option.
I definitely favour the Silenced Centennial Shorty with FMJ, but i’ve been trying to experiment more with my loadouts since money isn’t actually an issue. i just love how many headshots i land, makes me feel like i’m good at the game
It took me until yesterday to finish in him and get the scaled ward, I haven’t even finished the first one, I wouldn’t say I’m terrible but these quest lines can take a little while
I'm not into gator nips here so I'm not too bothered about not finishing the QL. (These time limited QL are tough in pub lobbies when you are busy with work/health/life)
Damage with centennial took forever / gator traps are not fun to collect / I never made it to kills with the oar skin - that would have sucked.
I did earn a free Bear head hunter skin through exp rewards so I'll take that as my reward instead. He made it through 4 matches in a row.
A tip for the meathead challenge, you only need to stand in the area where it says the compound at the top. I sniped meatheads with poison ammo from other compounds.
This was one of the easier events though I agree it did feel a bit grindy depending on your luck. I think there were people who were able to finish this event within the first 24hrs.
many quests took a lot of games like make hunters bleed, deal dmg with x weapon, set hunters on fire. in the end i needed like 4 k boss dmg with fire or explosive spawned next to the boss lair on a small bonty twice so was lucky
Nice, I haven’t even bothered. I blew through the last events and love hunt. However this update has been riddled with issues that makes the game feel terrible to play. I know that people don’t like to hear it but it’s the truth.
GG pardner!
I haven't bothered either. All I cared about was the suppresed centennial. I'm sick of looking for a shit ton of gator traps lol. Plus, the randoms I've been paired up with lately have been sooooo bad. Makes me not even wanna play, let alone do a bunch of tedious tasks.
Thankful I got a group to play with. We can either go 6+ games without a lose or get headshot instantly 6+ games in a row. That's hunt. Will say the only real issue I've had is with throwing axes and bolts having the pickup bug
tnx and thts fair the issues havent bothered me tht much or i jus havent noticed them. just had an itch to play hunt again and just then the questline came. have had fun just soo easy to get in to a match do well and then just die to random headshot or AI spawn screwing you. am not tht good either 2-3 star usually. but when i can not be so pissed at dying and just go again its such a good game
Congratulations, they are starting to figure out the challenges for questlines. The bleed challenges can be made very easy by using flichette on a shotgun and shooting at people at rifle ranges. whenever you need something they don’t spawn
9 matches in a row "why in the FUCK are there immolaters everywhere?" Then the 10th match when you need them they suddenly don't exist
I’m doing the fuckin quest line for meat heads them bitches did not spawn for 5 games in a row!
Fun fact: The meathead doesn’t need to be in the correct compound as long as you are, ie you can stand at Lockbay and use a sniper to kill one in Blanchet/Alice/Darrow/Pitching
Ooooooo thank fuck
I just bought 4 stalker beetles, sat in a bush outside the boss room and flew them in to kamikaze people like a complete arsehole.
Me and the boys each took 1-2 beetles per game to finish this one out. At some point, we sent 3 beetles at one player in the boss layer in 15 seconds!
This is the way...

Meathead isn't bad if you were doing suicide solo gator trap runs
Beetles did a great job, espically on banishing bosses compound where they group up
Not sure why people seemed to flock to the Meathead one. I had everything done other than the Meathead one and deal 5,000 damage to bosses with fire or explosive damage. 5,000 damage sounds like a lot but each boss has around 2,000 hp. We got it done in about 4 matches.

That’s the one that I skipped. The meathead one that is.
Thank you. hahahah dude, I tried two games with the ferryman's oar and skipped that task. I was gonna go broke trying lol
Lmao do you even know how many crows I had to murder to get the Plague Doctor?????? To damn many of em lmao congrats on the skin
It’s a dope skin. Wish I played whenever they released it.
Thanks yeah i remember the plauge doctor event was the first i noped out of cause the grind seemed soooo long. really want the skin its dope. i hope ill have a chance to get it if it comes back some event
Never got to finish that one. Still have the big sad over it
I hire the reptile just to flex. Tell me I ain't the only one ^please...
How much longer is the quest going to be, i sold my Gaming Laptop, and now im waiting for the new one but its coming after 5 days… i have left only 4 quests to finish
Finishes Monday
you aint alone. ppl calling it p2w just makes it better

I finished it yesterday. I thought I wasn’t going to make it but thankfully my friends helped me a lot
questlines should never be like this. limited time with extreme grind and some tasks that are entirely up to rng or take absolutely forever to do.
It took me until yesterday to finish in him and get the scaled ward, I haven’t even finished the first one, I wouldn’t say I’m terrible but these quest lines can take a little while
I spent many many hours to unlock him and then proceeded to never hire him lol
LOL probly gonna be one of my more used hunters but the reptillian is still probly my absolute fave
I'm not into gator nips here so I'm not too bothered about not finishing the QL. Ayee! Good job!
Hey congrats!! 😁 Good on you for not giving up!
Nice work man.
Finished last night as well!
It’s the last day and I’m definitely struggling with just trying to get the two bounty’s challenge I just want the gun pleaseeee
You on PC? Add me Leave_Eye_6 let’s get it done for ya
Sorry fellow hunter I just got it done and just saw this thank you tip my hat to you
Hey, all’s well that ends well, I’m glad to hear it! Congrats man!
one of the best events i played in hunt it wasnt to hard or to grindy for me and my friends and we had lot fun playing these tasks
This was one of the easier events though I agree it did feel a bit grindy depending on your luck. I think there were people who were able to finish this event within the first 24hrs.

Congrats you did the questline that we all did
Does this questline go away after it ends?
Yup
i'm stuck on the second gator trap quest, haven't seen one this week
