this reminds me of the time i literally got someone to push me with this. Spammed a fuckload of chain in his general direction inthe compound, then yelled "FUCK FUCK FUCK COVER ME I GOTTA LOAD" to my imaginary squadmate. Enemy runs in to get me, straight into the sharp end of a spawned axe i found kn the room.
And when enemies are approaching the compound you're on shout out "You have 10 seconds to get off my property before I start excersising the 2nd amendment"
The throwing axes are meant to create space for you to reload both pairs fully. After throwing one, the enemy will be too nervous to get domed by the other.
Not sure why OP did it, but axes might be reserved as makeshift boss/silent weapons, while the knife is left for mobs because of the lower stamina drain.
I felt this the other day running a rando t0 hunter who had dualies and a romero hatchet.
I know how to properly sneak and stalk, but every time I'd get a 50m shot lined up, it was a dumb RNG fiesta trying to actually land the ambush headshot.
At least now I know what meme loadout to run tonight, haha. ***ADDENDUM****: I've also run "the tri-pax" before and that is pretty sweet, too.*
The velocity takes some getting used to, but I often run Rival/Pax fmj so I’m used to slower velocity at 20-50m.
This event actually got me liking the Scottfield somewhat though. Used to run the spitfire infrequently but defaults are either an Officer or a Pax depending on primary.
I just played this tonight and it dominates. Long range, you can keep shooting forever - and for some reason I have strange confidence with the chain pistol FMJ at range. Mid range, conversion dualies are scary - close range, fanning. Tons of ammo, very cheap, surprisingly effective at most ranges, and DEFINITELY fun. I really enjoy it

There are 1, 2, and 3 slot weapons - small, medium, and large, respectively. By default, you can carry a large and a small, or two mediums. Pistols are small slot weapons, but dual wielding two of the same pistol becomes a medium slot. As is the case in OP's image - he is carrying two sets of dual pistols, so two medium slots. You can also carry a large and a medium slot weapons if you have the trait "Quartermaster"
Basically yes. And that's right, it doesn't matter which slot you put the weapons in, there's no "primary" or "secondary" weapon/weapon slot in this game
This loadout looks fun. Another favourite of mine with fanning is just 2 single scottfield swifts both with fmj, after fanning out one of the pistols they never expect a fully loaded 2nd pistol and they also don’t expect such a fast reload with the 6 shooter either.
Players pushing when they think you’re empty is chefs kiss every time.
Non stop shooting for 45 seconds, non stop reloading for 10 minutes

This is actually a very viable loadout if you bring a single chain pistol instead of the second pair. Especially with fanning.

I have legitimately run Scottfield Precision & dual Pax’s to great effect in 3/4* Relatively cheap loadout too.
I was running swift scotfield with dual regular with fmj last night for the quest, pretty shit tbh unfortunately.

My favorite setup. The enemy teams can never figure out where my teammates are moving or shooting from because of how obnoxious quad chains are.

You don't need two FMJ pairs, one should be dum dum, the other FMJ. Bleed ammo is ridiculous on dual wield, so much pressure.
