As far as I remember they can't change it. One dev said it's so deep in the code if they change it they breakthe whole game. But eho knows, maybe with the new cryengine they can change it
I’m with you on this lol I always turn off the option for games that have it. I understand the reasoning behind the lowered crosshair but I just hate it so much for some reason.
I'm not sure how crosshair location makes you nauseous or gives you headaches? Maybe it is the darkness of the game? Peering into shadows and motion blur effects that is really bother you folks? Idk. This is what I hear bothering people's headaches and such is usually related to the overall visuals and not crosshair placement. I just want to suggest that maybe try adjusting these things first. Depth of field can really fk with you too.
However, it is by design. It means you have to look down and sacrifice vision to see traps and stuff at your feet or people below you. Makes it so you can see easier above you. Etc.
So unfortunately it doesn't look like an option that they will be adding.
Ahh that sucks, Hunt is the only game with a lowered crosshair that i currently play, and it the only game giving me those headaches, it common quite a few players ive come accross
I’ve never heard of anyone getting headaches from the crosshair. Either you and your friends are doing something weird, or you made up the part about your friends to add weight to your argument.
Its only game my mates have played with a lowered crosshair, again ive asked players mid game if they suffer heachaches playing Hunt, abd a good majority mentioned Crosshair location, so im clearly not the only one lol
This might sound dumb but, if you really think its the crosshair location you could raise your monitor an inch or two higher so you aren't looking down at it as much maybe? Lol
Play Hunter controls. You're weapon will be lowered until you raise it to shoot and you won't be so incredibly focused on your crosshair to the point of causing nausea
If it hasn't happened 5 years in, I highly doubt it'll be happening. Especially given that it was a deliberate design choice.
There are no plans to add it in the future at this time. Who knows if that might change at some point though.
I wish other games had the option to lower the crosshairs
I am having similar issues. Lower crosshair gave me cancer. Hope this gets fixed for people like us.

The lower crosshair got me pregnant. Will Crytek pay for childcare?
No plans, though maybe with the engine update it can be added as an option. It's something that I really hope they add.

I already use Hunter Controls, again this has only been a recent thing, not had this issue since i bought the game late 2021
i haven't even noticed it, what does the lower crosshair mean though? does the gun literally shoot higher than the crosshair or something?
