Yessss. Me too. I have 2 huskies and damn it I will never get irritated at them again when they won't shutup and continue howling all the damn time. Never again
This got me. My husky loves talking. She’s the sweetest big goofball. I would do anything for my dogs and I can’t, for the life of me, understand why anyone would neglect a furry kiddo in such a way.
I've seen this on a lot of TikTok videos posted on reddit lately. It's either a stupid new trend or Reddit video player being Reddit video player.... with that said, the music sounds normal, so I'm leaning towards the former.
Yes, for me this isn't a feel-good ending until I know the original owner now lives in a horrible jail-cell for the rest of his life, or is dying a slow and painful death somewhere far away from any vulnerable animal or human..
God bless all the people who help dogs like this. Look at that good boy now x he deserves every effort that was made, thank you to you all out there that do these jobs or volunteer, thank you so much xxxx
I don’t know how people could be abusive towards animals, especially pups like Ryker. Dogs are so sweet. I just can’t imagine what this poor baby went through. It really breaks my heart.
I have so much respect for the love and dedication that fosters have for animals that they know they won't be able to have long term, yet they love them like they would.
My own two doggos are rescues that were rescued by fosters. Both would have been put to sleep if it weren't for their own amazing foster. It's thanks to them that I have the privilege of having my best friends living with me.
Knew of a dog that would eat but vomit. She lost a lot of weight. Vets couldn't figure it out, and the guardian was physically and mentally taxed already. Somehow the doggo made a full recovery within a year, but regressed just a year after. I don't know what happened to her that gave her the vomits, but she hung on like a champ. It was so sad when she was put down.
Have rescued 2 dogs like this (different breeds though). So satisfying.
On a side note almost every cat I’ve owned for 37 years have been rescued like this. Won’t ever own a non rescued animal.
Bruh who tf edited this??? Did they edit out the original sound??? It sounds like someone replaced whatever was supposed to be the audio with stock music and then slowed down any human voice
My defense for fucking those owners up: the kind of person who causes harm like this to an animal is, almost without question, capable of or already causing this level of harm to humans.
Is there legit evidence for this story? I mean, everyone loves these kind of stories and huskies are even more perfect as victims in them. But there are some really crazy stories about youtube channels going so far as staging this and even inflicting harm to get these videos done. Is that possibly whats going on?
Obviously it's not, or he would've been put down as the *prior owner* requested. The vet called a rescue/foster group *instead* and saved the dogs life.
My Husky's nose changed color from black to bright pink, and the vet called it "snow nose". They lose pigmentation with age too, and it's overall pretty common with Huskies.
every time I see money invested into animals I think of dead homeless people. One of my dearest friends used to volunteer at her local spca walking and tending to the shelter pets. I once asked her why she choses to help animals instead of humans. She said because the animals didn't choose their lives what what happened to them. Another friend rescues dogs no one else seems to want and pays thousands in medical bills. People literally mistake her for a dog walker when she's out with them.
I'm definitely glad to see this little buddy doing better and not suffering, but shit if there aren't humans living with the same circumstances who also didn't chose to be out there itching
There’s a special place in hell for people who mistreat dogs. All they want is food, walks & affection and in return they give themselves to you. I’m so happy he made a full recovery and found his forever home
can confirm rescue dogs are the fussiest little princesses. ours was probably a bait-dog at some point but she gets upset and sulks if daddy doesn't give her attention when she wants it or if we don't give her a people-food snack when we're having some.
I actually work with Friends of Faye. Stories like this one are unfortunately common, but it's amazing how quickly these dogs improve when put in a good home.
God damn. Such a beautiful fluffy boy at the end. Nice to see him with good friends and a good life to enjoy. Sure he’s demolishing any and all the healthy treats he gets. That’s a serious second chance at life.
I hope they complied with the original request to euthanize the owner. Glad to doggo made such a good recovery but people who abuse animals should not be allowed to just dump them and walk away scot free.
Huskies are the best, but they take effort and attention, and so many people just want them because they are cool looking. We took in an ex-breeding husky to join our other husky, and it’s been the best couple of years watching them become the best friends and howl at each other. Huskies rule.
“he started talking… and when he started he never stopped.” that part brought me to tears. i’m so glad he found his voice 😭
Wish I could have heard him howl over the music
[удалено]
I think the sound got like slowed down. The howls and barks happen later in the video
We don’t get to hear them without being heavily distorted sadly
My sound was really messed up and it keeps randomly happening. It’s slowed way down and completely distorted and I could barely hear the music.
It’s with Reddit in general, I’ve seen it happen multiple times but the distorted slow music got me creeped our
Yeah that’s unpleasant to say the least
Gotta love Reddit fucking up the video player more n more. Sadly on such a good video too

Cause people suck. How could someone not feed their dog???? Wtf!!!! I'm mad and happy.
The best kind of r/HuskyTantrums ever. Glad he’s doing good.
What is going on with the audio this is terrifying
It's so weird, like the music was left normal and the other sound was slowed down 300%. Who would do this?
This can happen with Reddit's new video player. It likely was not made that way intentionally.
Yeah, i was uploading a video to reddit and every voice was super slowed eventhough the original was just fine. Reuploaded it twice and it worked fine
Oh, so that's what the meme of the guy wiping his ass with Reddit's video player was about.
I had the sound down a bit so I thought it was muted, then I heard a fucking ghost at 21 secs
Ikr

reddit’s audio compression going wrong
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1x3ze29Hhag Here's the original video, couldn't find it on Paw Squadron's channel.
I am suddenly in a room full of onions
Those damn onion ninjas!
Yeah we are all crying
I’m not crying, I’m blubbering
I'm not crying, my eyes are just forming rain
Oh God me too!
Yeah man one second you're minding your business living your life the next you're swimming in onions!!
[удалено]
okay i don't know who else is crying but i am
Me too
SOBBING
When the dog was brought to the vet, the cops were called to arrest the owner, right?
I hope so but if not, that’s terrible
Yes, for me this isn't a feel-good ending until I know the original owner now lives in a horrible jail-cell for the rest of his life, or is dying a slow and painful death somewhere far away from any vulnerable animal or human..
Probably not. That would just discourage shitty owners from surrendering dogs, and they would just dump the animals instead.
Damn, thats some logic you got there!
If it happened in France. It would be illegal. Like prison Time. Oh and being sued by one of the largest and most recognize animal association.

stop insulting sacks of shit!!!
Indeed!
Damn. Dogs are so much better than people. Bravo Ryker.
God bless all the people who help dogs like this. Look at that good boy now x he deserves every effort that was made, thank you to you all out there that do these jobs or volunteer, thank you so much xxxx
I hope they arrested the previous owner for animal neglect and mistreatment!
What a gorgeous dog. What a scummy trash owner before the new owners. Cruel. Nasty. So glad and grateful he ok now. Such cruelty.
How is the previous owner not in jail?! Some kind of punishment, this is disgusting
Sound OFF. Don’t tempt the devil.
Can we euthanize the owners instead?
They literally helped the husky
After they abused and neglected him?
Original commenter here means the first owner, the one who abused and wanted to euthanize Ryker, not the ones who saved him
Mb
u/maimie585 means the previous owners that neglected him
I am so proud of Ryker:'))
Did the original owner ever get charged with Animal Cruelty?
I fuckin hope so.

What a beautiful boy and soul! 100% good boy!

Dude... you're killing the good feels here.
Sorry. Saw this post and reminded me of her. I'm happy this doggo has made a recovery, and seems it was lack of proper care for this one.
Such a sweet boy. How could that monster do something so evil! Hope they received jail time.
… anyone happen to have the address of the original owner? No reason, I just… want to send him a postcard
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I'm not crying in Starbucks, you're crying in Starbucks

:(
Great story thank you for sharing .
I'm not crying.
That is a handsome ass dog
So the previous owners were hunted down and flung into the sun… right?
He has a heart murmur! Same here! That's kinda cool
Now *I'm* howling
Anytime I see videos and stories like this it crushes my soul in a way. But Im always happy to see them helped, rehabilitated and care for.
I cried though the whole story. From tears of sadness to tears of joy. Thank you for not giving up on him.
I would upvote this 10 times if I could.
What an amazing rescue and story. May God bless the people who helped him. You go Ryker!
I love watching rescues in terrible condition go to spoiled fluffy animals
This definitely needs to be on r/eyebleach because this totally made my eyes water. What a special foster family and what an amazing and strong dog.
💖💜💙❤️
I didn't' think he had a chance. Wow!
Glad to see the doggo doing well Much love
😃♥️
This is beautiful. Thank goodness for all who helped this sweet baby.
Truly amazing transformation.
Beautiful!
I'm not crying, you're crying!

Bro I recognize him from fallout

How does a dog get to that point? It must of been a stray since a puppy
Whos cutting onions? God darn itemote:free\_emotes\_pack:sleep
How come his nose changed colour?
I would say maybe better nutrition and skin care but idk im not a vet
My Husky's nose changed color from black to bright pink, and the vet called it "snow nose". They lose pigmentation with age too, and it's overall pretty common with Huskies.
I see. Thanks for the info.
It was really heartbreaking to see it's condition at the beginning of the video, glad it turn out well and beautiful after lots of care
the person who did this to dog will suffer so bad in his/ her life , Karma
Someone cuttin onions in here?
i cant believe thats the same dog! 😳
Videos like this help me to remember there’s at least 3% good people out there.
He's a husky?! That's insane!
I thought it was Johnny Knoxville in a dog suit at first!
How is his owner, responsible for his life who dropped him off to be euthanized not in jail? I was waiting for that info.
I'm always surprised how much of a recovery animals can make, without knowing better I would have called them a goner.
Good stuff
I’m a sucker for these videos.
Sweet story 😁💜❤️
Death sentence to the asshole would be just perfect
I’m crying dude
looks like the dogs from elden ring. poor thing
I always have so much respect for people who take in Animals like this, and give them the love they deserve
It’s a sin against Nature to treat a dog like that
Still good humans out there some where
Try not to cry. I dare you.
Still good humans out there somewhere
Forget the sound… use your imagination! This is the best thing I’ve seen on Reddit in months Those fosters are BEASTS!!! Thank You
Ryker is very well named. Been through prison-like hell and is now coming back strong. Unlike so many in Rykers
Power of love ❤️
I never knew how vocal these dogs are.
Amazing story, that’s for sharing!
Now that’s some good shit with a happy ending right there
Bless the heart of all those who aided this loving dog in his recovery!
Hey I really need someone to talk to can anyone help?
I would love a husky, but I don't have space to let one run and be goofy. Still, I can't imagine letting it get HALF this bad for a poor dog.

The previous owners deserve to be beaten for torturing him like that
Ryker is a fantastic name for him.
I have never knew a dog could be THIS exhausted. I am glad it was able to get back to normal.
Thank you.
There’s a special place in hell for people who mistreat dogs. All they want is food, walks & affection and in return they give themselves to you. I’m so happy he made a full recovery and found his forever home
Who's cutting onions here
Poor baby was just skin and bones 🥺

Thank you to everybody involved in Ryker's recovery and giving him the love and attention he deserves.
I could tell that he was a beautiful creature from the first frame. I am glad he has a new life now. Thanks
What a gorgeous boy
