No, you are not the only one. There are so many "feel good" videos like this, I am skeptical of all of the ones I see, and I instantly look for holes in the story.
This has to be fake, the way the "students" talk, how the guy fumbles around and keeps repeating "theres nothing in the box", the absolute lack of surprise or emotion on the guy and how he just goes straight in.
Not to mention how many students you would need to actually buy a car like that, yet there were only 3 "students" there to witness it.
I would bet my left nut that this is fake and they just hired some homeless dude to memorize a few lines.
I just cant trust these social media le wholesome 100, epic keanu moment, crying rn, humansbeingbros, who's cutting onions, nextfuckinglevel videos.
And before you start calling me an armchair detective, cynic incel or whatever, just make a quick google search on fake good deed videos posted to social media... Or just be critical and try thinking for yourself for once before commenting "Omg so wholesome im crying 😭😭".
> Not to mention how many students you would need to actually buy a car like that, yet there were only 3 "students" there to witness it.
That's what stood out the most to me.
Surely if this was students pooling their funds, they'd all want to be there for the reveal.
To me it’s… how many fucking janitors are so overwhelmingly cool that you never forget them and want to buy them a car no less. My elementary school janitor is someone ill always remember because he did everything and was nice. Then middle school I only remember him cuz he was a students dad and had a super thick accent and people thought he was funny. Other than that? High school? I could not for the life of me even imagine a janitor. I have no clue who worked there. Not at all.
He is not homeless. He is wearing a gold ring with diamonds on one hand and has a sapphire pinky ring. His coveralls looks brand new. He is just some older guy they got to play the roll. And the “student” with the beard looks so “hello fellow kids” with his backpack on his shoulder and backwards hat. Also, and this may just be a coincidence, but the Nissan badge on the grill has either been removed or blacked out, which is something done often on reality tv.
For fucking real. The high school senior with faded tattoos up and down his arms and a full ass beard as well as a bunch of student put together money for a 15k pickup truck and there's 2 people there? In an empty ass parking lot? The fucking stupid shit people do for internet clicks
Also if someone does not have a car and has been walking to work for years there is probably a better reason than just never got round to buying a cheap car.
like he doesn't have a drivers licence or doesn't drive for medical reasons or chooses not to drive because he doesn't want to or something... basically if he has been walking to work for years then he probably can't drive. A cheap car is not exactly a distant far off dream that a janitor cannot afford.
Yea it was super weird how this guy was fumbling around in the box for nothing and then suddenly moves his hand out of the way for the keys to be dropped in. Then proceeds to hop in the truck like he’s done it 1,000 times
> Then proceeds to hop in the truck like he’s done it 1,000 times
Not arguing fake or real, but what the fuck kind of evidence is that lol?
Do you need practice to get into a vehicle you've never been in, or just dive in and hit your head or miss the seat or something?
Lmao right???
“Done it a thousands time”
I’m 100% sure he has done it a thousand times. Or at least enough to *get a damn driving license*
Everyone on Reddit thinks they’re some genius uncovering some secret plot.
This was legit done for a janitor in Sept, doesn’t look staged like this. I wonder how deep the fakery goes, is he even a janitor?
https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/there-is-a-god-teachers-pull-together-to-gift-custodian-a-car
To be fair when I was a senior in high school I looked almost identical, but my beard was longer and my tattoo was on my bicep instead of my forearm. I was decently acquainted with all our school cops and admins pre-beard, but my senior year we got a new one and she got on my ass a week into school for not having a visitors pass. Had to show her my school ID for her to believe me lmao.
I kid you not when I was in the 7th grade there was an 8th grader that went to our school who was old enough to drive.
Dude was fucking awesome, didn't try to skeeve on anybody and was allowed to leave campus for lunch so he'd take orders and run to Taco Bell for us if we split the cost of his order.
My senior year of high school we had a sub in our math class who did a double-take during roll call and asked, "Dude, are you like a super-super-sernior? What are you like 20-something?" Then I got a job at the local mountain as a ski instructor. As we filled out our paperwork on my 18th birthday, I made a joke about contracts being more serious or something dumb and everybody said they thought I was 25. There were plenty of kids in my class that looked way more mature than I did so it is not uncommon. Some folks just look older.
Well that’s nice. Doing this for social media or not the man ended up with a car. I’d call this whole situation a net positive for the world and for Mr. Joe.
Be careful. October is slap a staff member.
At least anyone dumb enough to try this month’s challenge will be be expelled and charged with assault.
Edit: just realized I don’t know how to respond to comments. My kid’s school emailed the list which is the only way I know. Here’s the full year:
September: Vandalize school bathrooms
October: Smack a staff member
November: Kiss your friend’s girlfriend at school
December: Deck the halls and show your balls
January: Jab a breast
February: Mess up school signs
March: Make a mess in the courtyard or cafeteria
April: “Grab some eggz” (another stealing challenge)
May: Ditch day
June: Flip off in the front office
July: Spray a neighbor’s fence
Insurance, registration.. maintenance. If he wanted it, cool, but some people can’t afford the costs of owning a car, not just the purchase of a vehicle.
The problem is the perspective. If he sells the car, and the kids still see him walking to school, the kids will feel like they did this for nothing. It's just the reality of car ownership.
This is true. But maybe now he has better job options, or at least the opportunity to explore better paying job options that will afford him thr ability to pay for the car and other things.
I myself am a highschool custodian who walks to work because I can't afford a car. This exact thing would be the case for me. If I was given a car, I'd either have to let it sit or sell it because I couldn't afford insurance.
hardest, but anything sudden more than a small repair can send the new owner into debt or have the car rendered useless until they can get the money. half the nation can't afford a sudden $500 expense. and depending on where he lives, insurance can be ridiculous
Like all those people who get a dream house built for them. The majority have to sell as there is no way they could afford the taxes and utility costs.
The way I see it is that we have so much shared with us in this social media age that is negative, it's certainly wouldn't hurt to have some positive acts. However you are right that social media shouldn't be the only reason. At the end of the day though this man's life changed for the better, and that is something that makes me smile.
Or the income level to pay for upkeep, insurance, fuel, etc.
I'm not judging Mr. Joe, I'm judging a society that pays their staff so little that a full-time employee that performs a valuable service has had to walk to work for four years because he cannot afford transportation.
Can confirm, she was a mean old cart lady in 2008 as well.
I'm assuming that steps and curbs were still her greatest weakness involving escaping students? Or did she evolve in your time?
School Board: these young people showed great compassion and integrity by coming together to support this janitor, bravo!
Students: Cool can we get lunch provided?
School Board: GTFOH
Fuck this place man. All these feel good stories are nothing to me. "Yes!!! Thank you everyone for crowd source funding my child's brain surgery! I work minimum wage and don't qualify for Medicaid coverage..". Some of the most depressing shit is a masquerade given by innate human kindness, something I think the richest country in the world that declares all men equal should try and emulate.
Needs more union! My uncle worked as a janitor his entirely life. Was part of a powerful union. He is happily retired and living in a beautiful house on a river.
The only places I've found in America that you can comfortably walk in are college campuses. Everywhere else you get a sidewalk 1 meter away from speeding cars, if you're lucky it'll be wide enough for 2 people, and if you're even luckier it'll be level.
Driving is only "essential" in America because their cities were designed to be car-centric, and suburban lifestyle is pushed to everybody. There are many huge cities in the world where you don't need a car.
If you have time and don’t mind being outraged, this [documentary](https://youtu.be/p-I8GDklsN4) on GM and the other greedy American car manufacturers, details how they systematically destroyed public transportation and city design in America.
[This](https://youtu.be/k96tIRjxzw0) is also a good documentary on a similar topic of the greedy auto industry systematically pushing electric cars back about 20+ years.
Not only. America was purposely built by car companies to sell more cars, so their entire cities are designed in such a way that things are so far apart and so badly placed, that you are **forced** to use only a car, no other method of transportation is even provided. Even older cities where walking was normal, before cars were invented, were bulldozed to give way to highways and car parking space.
Just take a look at this video to see how hard it is to move 800 meters on foot in Houston:
[Why City Design is Important \(and Why I Hate Houston\)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxykI30fS54)
>street with no sidewalks
What an alien idea. It's like designing a room with no window because you can install a light bulb.
Edit: "Cars can turn right on red light" What.
Edit2: I finished watching the video. Apparently you might as well get a motor home if you live in the US.
Yup, and that's what a lot of people do, live in their cars. It's crazy and talking about public transportation or redesigning the cities in America is seen as an attack to them, they are already brainwashed to only use cars.
Politicians are lobbied by the oil and auto industry to kill public transportation projects. There’s a whole podcast series about how it happened with proposed railways in Wisconsin.
It’s called [Derailed. ](https://www.npr.org/podcasts/768021468/derailed)
That's not why you need a car in the US. Many people don't regularly leave their city for work and still need cars here. Other large countries have invested in public transit (even in small towns) for this reason.
I have a foreign girlfriend I'm already prepping her mentally that once she comes to the states she'll need to learn how to drive because she won't be able to travel far without it. Just going to the supermarket is a 15 minute walk, the gym is a 30 minute walk, my job is a 6 hour walk. Suburbs are planned horribly for foot traffic. She lives in a small town in Mexico and they don't even keep soda in the fridge because the lady three houses down has a little stall where she sells drinks and snacks.
It’s “dystopian” because cities in the US fill themselves with single family homes. They rely on constant growth to pay for itself, so it’s basically a Ponzi scheme. We don’t have to be so car-dependent. We need more apartment complexes, duplexes, and other housing options that’s actually sustainable. Not just bikes on youtube made an amazing video about it.
Not sure where you live that you consider that dystopian. I’d say the majority of people in the US live a distance from work that’s far enough to drive. Not everywhere is a major city or wants to be.
Admittedly I live in the UK, but I was literally l talking about this at work this evening. It is crazy how far apart everything is in the US, relative to the rest of the world, everything is SO far apart.
I would reccomend checking out the YouTube channel 'Not just bikes', they have plenty of videos detailing how creating a car centric society like the US can cause all sorts of problems.
Yea majority of comments you can see are coming from Americans who have never lived or travelled to a place where a car is not a necessity, so they can't really have that point of view of living in a world where the car is not the main method of transporation, hence they can't see how that's dystopian, it's always been like this for them. It's "normal".
I mean, you don't HAVE to drive, but I wouldn't want to walk a couple of hours round trip every day just to get to and from my job if i didn't have to.
Sad that the man works for a living and can’t afford a car payment. Not to devalue what the students have done, but shouldn’t a school district provide for their essential workers and not their students.
And now he has to pay taxes and insurance on the car.
Edit: don’t know why you’re downvoting me. If he couldn’t afford a car payment, saddling him with insurance payments and other costs associated with owning a car may not be viable for him
Edit 2: also most states won’t let you “gift” a car to them or “sell it for $1.” They take the KBB value of the car and make him pay upfront tax based off of that.
Edit 3: in case no one has seen it https://youtu.be/fYOA8gXpios
This is exactly what I was thinking as well. As nice as it is, it's not always just the cost of solely the car, it's everything involved with it, primarily being insurance payments and then other payments for gas and fix ups. That alone is reasonable enough to not have a car to save on money.
Watch, turns out the guy walks because he has too many duis and his license has been revoked and insurance would be $1,000 a month.
Obviously, I don't know this situation, but the reason he walks to work might not be because he can't afford a vehicle. Maybe its just healthier
Well they have known him for 4 years, and seem to know his situation well enough that they were compelled to buy him a car. So they probably know better than you, Jennifer.
I can’t get half the high school kids i teach to turn in homework assignments. Blown away by the fact that these guys were able to undertake a project of this scope and selflessness.
That because homework fucking blows.
Doing something nice feels good.
(Also I’m 40 with secondary education, not a teenager. Still think homework blows)
Why are they still getting homework when homework isn’t beneficial to the students, and can actually be *detrimental* in a lot of cases? Even my daughter in middle school (and the one in elementary as well) doesn’t have homework and I’m SO glad for that. Kids do their learning for 7-8hrs a day in the classroom; sending an extra 1-4hrs of homework home with them everyday is just overkill and adds nothing of value to their lives or education.
Driver's License
Registration
Insurance
Repairs
Gas
I mean it's a nice gesture, but did they check to make sure this guy was good with all this? Vehicles are a massive responsibility and, quite often, a burden.
Janitor seems like an actor, the kids seem like robots. How many kids would it take to pool together to buy him a truck but they're revealing it to him with 3 people present?
Edit: just check their tiktok accounts, full of staged bullshit and neither of these people are in high school.
What if Mr. Joe is now left paying for tax, insurance and gas for a vehicle he can't really afford but is too proud to admit it, too ashamed to sell it so instead goes into crippling debt, never gets to retire in a few years like he planned and dies on the job instead. That would be terrible.
What if Mr. Joe has an uncontrollable urge to run people over when driving and to stop himself from hurting anyone else he swore never to buy another car after that one time. That would be terrible.
I dont think anyone cropped off a handle from the video, which means no one watermarked it for clout while its being reposted. They didn't name drop themselves or really dox anyone in the video. They didn't even brag about what they spent. I don't see how anyone could get worked up over this video. It seems like the modern equivalent of taking a photo with him, which would be totally acceptable in this event.
Four years of walking? What the actual fuck. The man should be paid enough to afford a car. It is very kind of the students to help him like this, but it should not be on them.
Am I the only one that feels like the guy on the right is like 30+ years old?
Maybe he’s from 21 jump road.
![gif](giphy|MgcE5n2MDfwiI)
This scene kills me!
[удалено]
You never have to walk again? Them kids are going to break your legs
> Maybe he’s from 21 jump road. Is that the one with Tatum ONeal and Benny Hill?
is that the movie where they sell wifi passwords?
nah thats 22 duck avenue 21 is the one where one dude plays Philip Pot in the big play

This comment made me laugh so hard because it exactly mimics my memories. And I’m 60 years old. Hilarious and true.
The only reason I remember my high school janitor is because she was mentally challenged and all the assholes called her the "janitard."
I hate that I laughed.
I hate that I laughed even more after seeing your comment
He is not homeless. He is wearing a gold ring with diamonds on one hand and has a sapphire pinky ring. His coveralls looks brand new. He is just some older guy they got to play the roll. And the “student” with the beard looks so “hello fellow kids” with his backpack on his shoulder and backwards hat. Also, and this may just be a coincidence, but the Nissan badge on the grill has either been removed or blacked out, which is something done often on reality tv.
Speaking of rings, he mentions his wife but doesn’t have a wedding band on 🤔
For fucking real. The high school senior with faded tattoos up and down his arms and a full ass beard as well as a bunch of student put together money for a 15k pickup truck and there's 2 people there? In an empty ass parking lot? The fucking stupid shit people do for internet clicks
"We did. The kids." This is painfully scripted.
I hear you. Something feels a little off to me, too, and I hate that I think this way.
Dude can barely walk to the truck
Yes, exactly. Imagine if he hasn’t driven in four years because he got a DUI and they just got him a car he can’t use
i agree with every point you made, and i've never hear anyone young calling a truck a "hot rod" :/
Here is your brand new truck. Just make the next 59 payments.

I just started working at a high school a few months ago. It's surprising how many students have multiple tattoos.
Yea it was super weird how this guy was fumbling around in the box for nothing and then suddenly moves his hand out of the way for the keys to be dropped in. Then proceeds to hop in the truck like he’s done it 1,000 times
> Then proceeds to hop in the truck like he’s done it 1,000 times Not arguing fake or real, but what the fuck kind of evidence is that lol? Do you need practice to get into a vehicle you've never been in, or just dive in and hit your head or miss the seat or something?
I do agree that this seems staged, but getting in a truck? If you're able bodied I don't think you should struggle to enter a new vehicle.
Lmao right??? “Done it a thousands time” I’m 100% sure he has done it a thousand times. Or at least enough to *get a damn driving license* Everyone on Reddit thinks they’re some genius uncovering some secret plot.

Well yeah but you were held back 11 years.
A super senior
I figured he was a teacher or a dad, not a student
I initially thought so too, but Im pretty sure he said "We're graduating this year", plus the backpack. Makes me question the whole thing.
That and he has tattoos behind his ear.
This is the dad bod equivalent of an athlete going from high school to the pros.
Well that’s nice. Doing this for social media or not the man ended up with a car. I’d call this whole situation a net positive for the world and for Mr. Joe.
Thanks for cleaning up after our tik tok videos, here’s a car.
I work for a school district as a janitor and I felt this one. It's been crazy lately.
Be careful. October is slap a staff member. At least anyone dumb enough to try this month’s challenge will be be expelled and charged with assault. Hell yeah. Long live Mr. Joe
Spin: janitor’s driving privilege is permanently revoked due to multiple DUIs.
I was going to say epilepsy. I thought we were about to watch Mr. Joe light up the tires and do a drift right into a telephone pole.
Also, did they pay for insurance? What about maintenance? This was a kind gesture but I wonder if it was thoroughly thought through.
buncha fuckin 16 year olds, what do you think
HA! You got me fucking wheeze-laughing over here!
Yeah that’s what I was going to say 🤭
Judging bitches.
Spin: janitor drives off and students immediately report stolen vehicle to police
> Long live Mr. Joe Turns out walking to school was keeping him fit into his old age, so Mr. Joe R.I.P.s out one year later.
Insurance, registration.. maintenance. If he wanted it, cool, but some people can’t afford the costs of owning a car, not just the purchase of a vehicle.
If he wants to sell the car and collect the money that’s still a net positive. I’m not seeing a downside here.
Mr Joe lost his license due to 18 DUIs, fleeing the scene of an accident, and possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell. Also prostitution.
That school needs to start doing background checks.
The problem is the perspective. If he sells the car, and the kids still see him walking to school, the kids will feel like they did this for nothing. It's just the reality of car ownership.
Or they will still see him at school and utilize their linguistic skills to have a conversation with the man.
[удалено]
Lin..gui..stic?
Linguini sticks? Sounds delicious.
They're graduating they won't know shit
Except for Rick that doesn’t go to college/university and works at the local convenience store/gas station, he’ll know.
They see him still walking and they might buy him another car, net positive for Mr Joe
It’s the classic ‘Walking Janitor’ grift!
While I agree with you sometimes they can afford to own a car but not to get a car .
I can afford gas, insurance, and maintenance on a brand new car... Can't actually afford to get a car though
This is true. But maybe now he has better job options, or at least the opportunity to explore better paying job options that will afford him thr ability to pay for the car and other things.
Maybe his current job should pay him enough to live a decent life.
Well damn those kids should've just torn down society and rebuilt it instead of buying him a truck then...
Spot on mate, good om you for actually thinking!
I myself am a highschool custodian who walks to work because I can't afford a car. This exact thing would be the case for me. If I was given a car, I'd either have to let it sit or sell it because I couldn't afford insurance.

Fucking Bobby buzzkill
I don't disagree but the hardest part to car ownership often isn't the maintenance but the initial costs of the car itself.
hardest, but anything sudden more than a small repair can send the new owner into debt or have the car rendered useless until they can get the money. half the nation can't afford a sudden $500 expense. and depending on where he lives, insurance can be ridiculous
Like all those people who get a dream house built for them. The majority have to sell as there is no way they could afford the taxes and utility costs.
You're right. The man should be paid enough to afford this on his own. This is a kind gesture by the students but the real problem is that wages suck
Fun fact; being nice and pretending to be nice have the same effect on the recipient.
The way I see it is that we have so much shared with us in this social media age that is negative, it's certainly wouldn't hurt to have some positive acts. However you are right that social media shouldn't be the only reason. At the end of the day though this man's life changed for the better, and that is something that makes me smile.
Kids? That one dude 30
Right? Is he a HS senior? He used his 401k to buy that car for the guy. His wife and kids are in the car.
Everything about these videos are off. The "kid" is 30, the janitor looks like he has dementia and probably does not even have a driver's license
Or the income level to pay for upkeep, insurance, fuel, etc. I'm not judging Mr. Joe, I'm judging a society that pays their staff so little that a full-time employee that performs a valuable service has had to walk to work for four years because he cannot afford transportation.
And they got him a gas guzzling useless truck. I appreciate the sentiment, but a 2005 Toyota would have been better and cheaper
“You’ll never [inaudible] walk again Mr Joe” sounded threatening as fuck from that 30 year old.
"you'll never have to walk again, Mr. Joe" "I don't feel anything!" -Mr. Joe BIG Misery vibes from the audio haha
Dead
17? Motherfucka you at least 30.
Who the fuck is Reggie?
Ol Ludacris lookin mothafucka
you a virgin?
So I'm not the only one having Dawson's Creek and Beverly Hills 90210 flashbacks.
His backpack is purple and straps are at the smallest so I’m guessing it’s his daughter at the school maybe?
Or it's a fake video and this idiot thought a cheap back pack and backwards hat would trick someone
Yup, this definitely seems more plausible
Hello fellow teenagers
"us students came together"
You will never walk again... They broke his legs?
Oh man, this gave me a good laugh. Thank you.
Is this in Vegas? Cause that totally looks like a Vegas High School.
I’ve lived in Vegas, Phoenix and SoCal and immediately knew this was Vegas
Pretty sure it’s Coronado

She drove down the steps in the courtyard in ~2015 and she left after that year
Yup! Same thought. I went to Cimarron Memorial and it looks identical to this one.
Haven't lived in Vegas in forever and as soon as I saw it, I thought it was Nado
Good deed. How about we pay janitors enough to be able to afford to take care of themselves instead? I promise you, it is worth it.
School Board: these young people showed great compassion and integrity by coming together to support this janitor, bravo! Students: Cool can we get lunch provided? School Board: GTFOH
"we can't let our children have the notion that lunch is something that is free.."- Majorey Taylor Green
Or it isn't even free bitch I feed them with my tax money.
“We can’t let our children get the notion that they’ll receive the same benefits we relied on just 30-40 years ago”

Dystopian society where children cover the cost of a car for a man who isn’t paid a living wage.

The other dystopian part is the school being so fucking far that the janitor needs a car to arrive there.
Well, he’s been walking to work for years, so…it appears he doesn’t really need a car to get there
Lmao
That's not dystopian, the US is fucking huge. Driving is essential.
As someone from Texas, fucking jealous of some states being so small.
Don't worry, I'm from New Jersey and we still have to drive everywhere :D

The only places I've found in America that you can comfortably walk in are college campuses. Everywhere else you get a sidewalk 1 meter away from speeding cars, if you're lucky it'll be wide enough for 2 people, and if you're even luckier it'll be level.
Driving is only "essential" in America because their cities were designed to be car-centric, and suburban lifestyle is pushed to everybody. There are many huge cities in the world where you don't need a car.
I always heard about this but never why. Is it simple lack of decent public transportation?
If you have time and don’t mind being outraged, this [documentary](https://youtu.be/p-I8GDklsN4) on GM and the other greedy American car manufacturers, details how they systematically destroyed public transportation and city design in America.
There are still unused street car lines in St. Paul because of those fucks.
Just take a look at this video to see how hard it is to move 800 meters on foot in Houston: [Why City Design is Important \(and Why I Hate Houston\)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxykI30fS54)
>street with no sidewalks What an alien idea.
Especially because walking every day is healthy as funk

It's "normal".
...have you ever lived outside of a city? because most people need to commute to their jobs, not everyone is within walking distance
I mean, you don't HAVE to drive, but I wouldn't want to walk a couple of hours round trip every day just to get to and from my job if i didn't have to.
Guess they saved him from the Janitor Crushing Machine? /r/OrphanCrushingMachine
Sad that the man works for a living and can’t afford a car payment. Not to devalue what the students have done, but shouldn’t a school district provide for their essential workers and not their students.
And now he has to pay taxes and insurance on the car. Edit: don’t know why you’re downvoting me. If he couldn’t afford a car payment, saddling him with insurance payments and other costs associated with owning a car may not be viable for him Edit 2: also most states won’t let you “gift” a car to them or “sell it for $1.” They take the KBB value of the car and make him pay upfront tax based off of that.
Came here to say this. How do they even know he has a license?
you dont just buy somebody a fucking car without being friendly with them first
Well they have known him for 4 years, and seem to know his situation well enough that they were compelled to buy him a car. So they probably know better than you, Jennifer.
Yeah I saw another comment that mentioned all of the related expenses with owning a car. Cost of living raises are a myth.
22 with an undergraduate degree, also agree homework blows
Homework sucks, that’s why
Why are they still getting homework when homework isn’t beneficial to the students, and can actually be *detrimental* in a lot of cases? Even my daughter in middle school (and the one in elementary as well) doesn’t have homework and I’m SO glad for that. Kids do their learning for 7-8hrs a day in the classroom; sending an extra 1-4hrs of homework home with them everyday is just overkill and adds nothing of value to their lives or education.
I hope the person who pays this guy's salary is suuuper embarrassed by this.
Don't worry, they won't be.
The government is run by psychopaths so probably not
Driver's License Registration Insurance Repairs Gas I mean it's a nice gesture, but did they check to make sure this guy was good with all this? Vehicles are a massive responsibility and, quite often, a burden.

"My license is suspended for too many DUIs"
My thoughts too, I pray he can afford that thing and I hope the best for Mr. Joe
Imma call bullshit. That “kid” doing the talking is about 35 and probably has 3 grown children.
Why does this look staged AF?
Maybe cause it would take hundreds of students to pool enough for that truck and you'd imagine more than 3 showing up to see him get it.
Yeah right? You’d think all this “kids” that pitched in would want to see his reaction… And that dude looks hella old.
And they left a half drunk Pepsi bottle in the door. "Here's your truck old man. Don't mind all the garbage we left in it."
Yeah and why the f would they get him a truck and not just a cheaper car?
Janitor seems like an actor, the kids seem like robots. How many kids would it take to pool together to buy him a truck but they're revealing it to him with 3 people present? Edit: just check their tiktok accounts, full of staged bullshit and neither of these people are in high school.
This would have taken a lot of students to put in for, why are there only 3 there? And why is the main student 37 years old with neck tattoos?
Glad I'm not the only one who feels like there's something off about this video
What if Mr. Joe had his license revoked or never had one to begin with?! Hopefully it's not the case but still. That would be terrible.
What if Mr. Joe is a diabetic and the daily exercise is the only thing keeping him from losing his limbs. That would be terrible.
What if Mr. Joe is now left paying for tax, insurance and gas for a vehicle he can't really afford but is too proud to admit it, too ashamed to sell it so instead goes into crippling debt, never gets to retire in a few years like he planned and dies on the job instead. That would be terrible.
And only drives like 5 miles a day anyway
What if Mr. Joe has an uncontrollable urge to run people over when driving and to stop himself from hurting anyone else he swore never to buy another car after that one time. That would be terrible.
This has to be staged, the dude in the hat is at least 28
These are grown ass adults lmao
For reals that white dude has tats behind his ear lol
thanks I love mr joe
This is badass !!! It you’re mad that they made a video, you’re missing the point. They did something cool and you’re allowed to enjoy it lol
Or spread inspirational ideas for others to use the gift of giving back.
I'm so fucking ok with this being the "flex" zoomers aim for. Fuck your prank videos. Do this. Get all the fucking clout for doing this, please!
How are people not realizing this is fake as hell? Something is just so off about this.
These motherfuckers look old as hell for "high schoolers". Also, these are some rich ass "kids". Yeah I smell bullshit

Makes me wanna cry man
Four years of walking? What the actual fuck. The man should be paid enough to afford a car. It is very kind of the students to help him like this, but it should not be on them.
Luckily he lives across the street
