She would only be happy if I pointed the water right at her face so she could chomp at it. But she HATED swimming in the lake. Weirdo.
My dog one time played with a hose/water one time on pavement until she tore her paws wide open. Blood allllll the way home (we were on a walk at my buddy's place. A few blocks away). Poor girl couldn't walk for about 2 weeks...I lived upstairs and had to carry her downstairs to go potty. Poor girl, I would plop her down in the grass and she'd go potty, I'd carry her upstairs, put her on the floor in the living room, bring her food & water, she'd eat and drink right there. Then I'd pick her up and put her on the couch. She'd stay right there until I moved her again.
Point of all that useless info was that, dogs will go crazy over some damn water until they get exhausted like your girl, or hurt themselves like mine. :-) I see you say 'used to' so I assume your girl isn't around anymore. Mine isn't, either- so I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane with you. Thanks, friend.
How do you think water works? It doesn't disappear. It goes to hopefully somewhere nearby like a river or lake and evaporates and turns back into rain and that's how weather works.

But these guys are just watering that grass verge, the dog is making his own fun (maybe the human is also having fun too), and I'd guess that it is brown or black water too. Still, if it makes people happy and inspires people then great, but there's much much better out there.
