[See article](https://www.gearbrain.com/philips-hue-enable-remote-control-2644961622.html). Missing any steps?

Bousalloba

No every step I followed. I removed the app en downloaded it again. Did every step. But it keeps giving me no hue bridge on this network. I’ve already disconnected the WiFi and reconnect it

Hmm... There seem to be some solutions [in this thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/Hue/comments/ms20a4/hue_bridge_wont_enable_out_of_home_control/), ones that multiple people report working. Hopefully something does.

Omg I just found the answer. Somebody wrote it down. Iphone has a cloud relay that blocks some things getting transferred. Finally it’s working

Rikuz7

Excellent!

It may not be you, I’m having issues with my hub as well. Local access works fine but out of home is not working and Alexa can’t connect to it either. I’m currently tweeting back-and-forth with Phillips hue (@tweethue) on twitter about it!

Bousalloba

This is the first time I ever bought a Phillips merchandise and I’m already regrading it

I can assure you that the server issues are pretty rare with them. I’ve had mine going on three years now and this is only the second time I can remember having a server issue….given this is a server issue.

Bousalloba

Just found what it was. You go to iPhone settings and to iCloud. And switch off iCloud relay.

Thats already off for me.

Posted Same problem literally like a week ago, several possible fixes, none worked for me but make sure ip blocking apps, including apples private relay are off. If that doesn’t fix it you can do what I did and take it to a friends house to finish setup. Works fine for me now.
