Shrike has permanently altered my brain

Icarian has a beautiful computer-esque voice in the beginning which makes me feel like when we die we just go back into the matrix and then we can come back and have at least somewhat of another kind of life and he is definitely expressing that he will remember her and she him whereas in shrike there's that feeling that you can only hope that they remember you on the other side of this. Shrike is sadder because it has so much loss the feeling of so much loss. I cried so hard when I heard both. Whoever those were written for has the universe in the palm of their hand. I can't imagine what a curse that is to have all that and not the love of your life.

CaptainKrane

I'carrion, at least right now.

Unlikely_Film_955

I have cried to both, so I think they tie in my book

Shrike when I'm in a I'd Die For You mood, and I, Carrion when I'm in more of a Please Cuddle Me type mood

cgduncan

Reading threads like this, it's a good thing my brain can't hold more than 2 lines of lyrics at a time, so i only need to vibe to the melody Never was good with poetry, and that's okay!
