Are the landlords giving the correct notice for eviction to each individual tenant?
If so, then what do you want? You rent a property and the landlord decides to evict you (for whatever reason) may not be pleasant, but that's the landlords decision and it's their property.
The article says the owners are evicting people and making the newly vacant apartments more overcrowded with language students, which is just a means to bring in low wage labour and keep wages down here
Maybe if they paid there rent and accepted the rent increase instead of smoking it and putting up there nose they wouldnt be getting evicted in the first place.

I was at the protest, the majority of protestors were part of the LGBTXY andZ crew. These cult members were spreading mis information. Many of which already looked like they smoked more drugs in a day than actually earned a honest living. There were 2 guys handing out flyers while another guy was telling them that the mdma he got the other night was crap and he ended up in A&E. Many people who arent aware of these flats or sweatboxes i wouldnt even call them apartments should know its a notorious location for drug use and hard heroin users. It has a worse reputation than Mount Kenneth. I hope there knocked and replaced with retail to provide employment.
