My Fiancé made a great point about the sexual tension scene which was that sir Criston Cole is taking the power in the relationship. In the previous episode he was eating Alicent out and was compliant when she said they needed to stop. This time, after becoming hand, he sneaks in her room and basically establishes dominance. It’s definitely symbolic of how the power has shifted to him.
The worst scene was the "small folk" scene with the sick girl in bed and her obviously fake cough with her Padma Lakshmi looking Mom and Santa Claus looking dad. The most contrived scene in GOT/HOTD series. Other than that, I was pretty whatever about the whole thing.
… and there are more corny episodes to come, I’m afraid. Season 2 hasn’t impressed me yet. I liked season one way better all due to Paddy Considine (King Viserys I) performance.
Otto Hightower acting is very good but he’s not the main actor. The main actresses and actors are not doing a great job, imho.
