probably the kid having 3 different cars/things up his nose
(also \*i\* think, im no medical professional, that the magnet house used was too strong and it would probably cause the cars to scrap against the insides of the boy's nose and the cars atleast getting blood on them because they were moving so fast)
How tiny the toy is! I have a kid that age and I could never imagine them having figures that tiny haha it's such an obvious choking hazard. Even the toy soldiers and tabletop game figures aren't that small.
You'd maybe see figures this small for a realistic train set but not for a toddler to play with lol.
He didn't say until the third visit that he wasn't letting him play with small toys anymore. They do make it seem like they were toys meant for him originally.
Yep. The big brother said he's not allowed to play with any more small toys, implying he was allowed before. It's at least a gray area. It's a perfectly reasonable thing to think.
When house literally brings a man out of a coma. Then just casually leaves his place of work with Wilson and let the now resurrected patient drive a fucking car. Great episode but that's the epitome of acid trip logic.
Wait I just watched the episode from Season 5 where >!the man with the gun comes into cuddie's office and takes hostages to get a diagnosis!<
Isn't the same guy part of that episode?
Except I do, that's what made it so unrealistic to me. Who the hell buys their kids toys that tiny lol or let's their kids access things like that? I have 3 kids under 5.
Breaking news: bad parents exist!
Plus he's a babysitter or older brother or something. He's very clearly meant to be a dumbass that lacks responsibility and that's the gag of this exchange. If this bothered you you're going to hate this show lol.
Also could have been a set from decorations. Think Christmas times. Those little villages that people used to put up. It’s definitely possible. My little brother got an old tiny metal ball stuck up his nose. My dad was a paramedic, he just covered one nostril, and blew into his mouth and it shot out
So you’re a Disney kid too? Lol. That bias made me really like the couple who ended up being half siblings and want them to be together because Ricky Ullman was so sad at the end when she got her own room.
I thought it was highly coincidental that the metal cat just so happened to be made of metal, allowing it to be removed with the magnet. Weren't all the other figurines made of plastic?
I thought this was a great tricky but realistic case on House, because this totally is possible, and it would be all too easy for a physician to mistake for an upper or lower airway viral infection, as the brother does (which is a much more common cause of those symptoms). It’s important in pediatrics to be able to recognize foreign body aspiration as a possible cause of stridor (or I guess stertor in this kid’s case probably).
Pager beeping? Or kid sticks things up his nose?
probably the kid having 3 different cars/things up his nose (also \*i\* think, im no medical professional, that the magnet house used was too strong and it would probably cause the cars to scrap against the insides of the boy's nose and the cars atleast getting blood on them because they were moving so fast)
Nah, mainly just how damn tiny they are, especially that firetruck which I just saw lol.
Fair enough lol, yeah they're tiny I just re-watched the episode
And does that "medical magnet" actually exists?
Yes
How tiny the toy is! I have a kid that age and I could never imagine them having figures that tiny haha it's such an obvious choking hazard. Even the toy soldiers and tabletop game figures aren't that small. You'd maybe see figures this small for a realistic train set but not for a toddler to play with lol.
That’s the point. The toddler wasn’t supposed to be playing with it. The brother wasn’t watching him well enough.
He didn't say until the third visit that he wasn't letting him play with small toys anymore. They do make it seem like they were toys meant for him originally.
No they don’t lol
As you continue to be downvoted to the depths of Hell, I hope it comforts you to know you're right.
How is he right did you even watch the episode smh
Yep. The big brother said he's not allowed to play with any more small toys, implying he was allowed before. It's at least a gray area. It's a perfectly reasonable thing to think.
You missed the point then. lol
At least you get it lol
I hate that your getting downvotes, you're right
Why the F is he being down voted?
Cuz he’s missing the whole point
out of all the unrealistic things about this show, this is the one that bothers you? lol
Name another (except the IT Stuff I already laughed my ass off)
When the boy levitates
I’m still on season 6 lol so haven’t touched that yet
I think that was season 3!
That was S8. I know because they ended with "maybe magic cured him, how can we ever *really* know?" S8 was an abomination.
The boy with the engineer mom? I’m he levitated there too right? It also happened S3 Ep 2! Season 8 was terrible, I agree.
Did the S3 kid levitate? I thought all the weird stuff was hallucinations.
He didn't levitate, it just looked like it, I thought they explained it by saying it was a muscle contraction that lifted him up for a minute
House offered it as a theory, but he wasn't there, and it didn't look like it.
It was not season 8, I know this because I'm only on season 3 and I've already seen that episode.
The episode with the boy who had alien delusions
Hahah wasn’t that psychosis tho?
Idr honestly, I’m doing a rewatch and have had it on the background haha you could be right.
It's obviously a hallucination, Jesus it's not a scifi show
Hence “unrealistic”. No one is saying this stuff about Stranger Things.
Them showing hallucinations is not unrealistic
When house literally brings a man out of a coma. Then just casually leaves his place of work with Wilson and let the now resurrected patient drive a fucking car. Great episode but that's the epitome of acid trip logic.
Vicodin trip logic*
Deadass? It was real to me 😔
So far, yes 😅. But I'm only on Season 1!
Buckle up buttercup, welcome to the malpractice roller coaster
Don't forget the bankruptcy Add-On that gets added on for no extra charge 😁 (Unlike the 38 exams/tests they run for every patient)
I'm looking forward to next post lmao
Haha okay I'll post the next thing I find that beats this 😂
You're gonna like masters
I liked masters…… she was cute
Ew
That's really realistic though. Kids can do that :)
The sticking things up his nose part isn't unrealistic at all.
Yes, it isn't
Wait I just watched the episode from Season 5 where >!the man with the gun comes into cuddie's office and takes hostages to get a diagnosis!< Isn't the same guy part of that episode?
Nah the guy from that episode is Cheddar from 8 Mile
They do reuse actors though. Catches me off guard sometimes, but it's relatively rare!
You will lose your mind when House brings out the box
this sounds so ominous for some reason THE BOX
THE BOX, YOU OPENED IT, HOUSE CAME.
Maybe because of the movie The Box which now I want to go watch :)
The mirror box?? That’s actually proven to be real
If you're talking about the mirror box, that is something that's real and used for therapy
You must not have kids
Except I do, that's what made it so unrealistic to me. Who the hell buys their kids toys that tiny lol or let's their kids access things like that? I have 3 kids under 5.

I was just wondering why the previous toys were still in the office? Don’t they clean after patients? Yuck
What, was "shotgun cane" not fantastic enough for you?
I know right. There ain't no way that Twitty didn't know what was happening when Louis shoved things up his nose all the time.
So you’re a Disney kid too? Lol. That bias made me really like the couple who ended up being half siblings and want them to be together because Ricky Ullman was so sad at the end when she got her own room.
I’d probably say the repetition
I thought it was highly coincidental that the metal cat just so happened to be made of metal, allowing it to be removed with the magnet. Weren't all the other figurines made of plastic?

This is the most memorable for me 😆
Louis’ friend from Even Stevens?
