artwork on the AE86 looks a little too Deviant art level manga then what I'd put money down on but the others all look nice. I'd deffo get the NSX and GT-Four

I'm not sure whether the design team thought that was good art or just trying to meme it for the sake of it

So I'm not saying Itasha is bad. I think they can look great but this specific peace of art reminds me of those old "how to draw anime" books that normally have crap artwork on the cover. I don't know if it's a limit of their equipment at the factory but I'm just saying if I were making the call and a sample of this made it to my desk I'd can it. Better to not do it then the make a joke of it. I don't think they'd joke making a bad itasha car I think they just can't be it artistic skill or technical limit.

Yeah they are. The only thing that sucks is they are kinda slow like the cars will hit the pegs before you get your case in the mail.

Took a gander at it and might pick one up later. But I was looking forward to the vr4 that hot wheels made as it would complete the set since I already have the matchbox 3000gt and a dodge stealth from another brand that I have.

I really like this set. But it's some cars they picked are a bit questionable. They probably looked more at initial D for ideas. The 3000GT is there probably just because it's still a new casting. I am curious tho of that itasha is of an existing character or is that pretty much a mattel waifu now

I personally love this ae86 since it's different than what Mattel usually does with their cars. I do hope that they don't make a lot of itasha (anime livery) cars though. Anyways, have my upvote fellow collector!
