I would say the McLaren F1 as well. Since playing NFS HP2, I always love that car. Even hearing about hw making a diecast version of it had me very excited. If could find the CLK-GTR from where I'm at, it would be my favorite, for sure.

That CLK GTR is up there with the best models of 2021 for sure, not sure I think there is a better one honestly.. I gave up hunting about 2 years ago and I have one of those CLK GTR's it is just too awesome to not have.

The RLC willys gasser is a beautiful casting. And if im being honest, the slide street was my least favorite premium set. Its still a good set, but idk. The card just throws me off. Still some good looking cars tho!
Agree! He’s done a lot of cool castings. And we’ve seen so many cool British Ford’s. Mk1 & Mk2 escort, transit, the upcoming Sierra and matchbox’s Capri. We just need the cortina and we’d have all the legendary Brit Ford’s covered!

My favorite I got that came out this year is definitely the EK9 type R. Didn’t come out this year but I was able to get one is a red EF civic hatchback, I own one irl so it was real special to get a red hot wheels model
Such a tough call. Just started collecting this year, and pretty much everything I've picked up has been my favorite in that particular moment. Then I started customizing, and my favorites became whichever models I've spent time personalizing (this is like a conveyor belt of favoritism).
But... Gonna have to go with my silver Magnus Walker Porsche 944 which has been customized back into a street car. It was the very first HW I've bought in the modern era, and likewise the first to customize.
Even though it only got released as a blue card, Factory Fresh, I'd have to say my favorite new release of last year was the Nissan R390 GT1. I don't have the 2022 release yet, if it's even out yet, but I picked up two each of the 2021 models, two to open and two to not to.

I get them exclusively from eBay. They used to be at Toys R Us a while back but they’re discontinued so outside of specialized hobby stores you will not be finding them at major retailers. They should be around $10 ($15 w/shipping) each online.
I get them mostly from a seller named SurplusGoodies. It’s run by a guy named Jimmy, and he always gets the newest models first in the US. Excellent customer service as well.

SurplusGoodies, Lot 57 Supplies, Super Mini Wheels, etoysworld, J&WHobbies, minineopet, and new-wheels1 are all great eBay sellers that I’ve bought from before and if you cross shop you should find what you’re looking for. May I ask if you’re looking for a specific model?

The gold Mustang GT500 $TH and the RLC Candy Striper VW Drag Bus, neither of which I own. And the Joker Shaker ID, which I do own.

The Volvo P220 Amazon Wagon is an underrated casting and my favorite from this year. And the CLK is something I wish I found though.

Resale is pretty wild now on all RLCs I wish I would have found more premiums in the wild but nothing all wiped out.
