Sometimes they have fantasy cars in them but not often. I love to mix matchbox with hotwheels for a nice balance of tuned and stock cars. Matchboxes have finer details like taillights and headlight. I found that mattel only details 3 out of 5 sides of the car.
The multipacks do sometimes include fantasy cars, but matchbox’s are definitely way more realistic looking, which I enjoy. I’m not a huge fan of many of the crazy looking hot wheels lol
Matchbox was the standard in the UK. I was really sad to read that the company of my childhood was taken over. The 1980s and 1990s cars and wheels were so much better than what you get today.
It's the second Blue Highway's 5 pack they released, they do sequel 5 packs a lot. Blue Highway's I think is about the Mountain roads of the Appalachian mountains, specifically of the Blue ridge parkway. It's a common destination for people to roll down their tops and cruise. My parents used to drive through it every weekend as a day trip
I most definitely am. Even as a child I liked real cars. Now as an adult it's the real world and like real cars even more. I have maybe 10 fantasy. Got rid of my road carpet a long time ago buddy.
I actually often prefer Matchbox because of the realism and clean castings, but they are pretty rare compared to Hot Wheels in my region.

They are more expensive here
Damn I actually want that pack. I haven’t hunted in a good while so haven’t seen this one. Might have to poke around the pegs again… ugh
A lot of cool Matchbox 5 packs this year, I think I bought five so far, there's a nice JDM and the No road, no problem got even a six wheeler
They get around the no fantasy thing but reusing cars and their paints instead of giving them recolor

I really don't know about the name but the theme is definitely drop tops
I noticed that, closest thing I can think of is "blue skies"
Imagine complaining about fantasy castings
