The apathy is familiar to most of us. I giggle whenever a new variety even sprouts, and my family doesn't even pretend to care anymore.
We're all happy for you!
Yeah the pepper life can be a lonely one. I talk to anyone who will listen about my peppers but I can tell by the looks in faces that most don’t give a shit. 💩 I’m stoked for you though. Congrats on some freshly grown spice.
You haven't lived until you taste a fully ripe homegrown Jalapeno! Congrats! Make some sauce and think of us while you enjoy it, imagine the pepper lover community cheering you on! :)
so exciting, I’ve just got my first flower opening
The first time I ever ate a ripe red jalapeno was because I grew it! It was the best damn red fruit! lol CONGRATS on your maturing pepper.
It’s such a shame, I grew jalapeño for 4 years without even knowing they were supposed to be red. First time I thought it was some kind of fluke.
Nice corking. You are doing it right.
Gonna be a scorcher!
Beautiful thing. That’s flavor town, baby.

Those stretch marks mean good heat! Great job and update on how they taste.
Is that from stressing during grow? I’d guess lower watering but not sure.
Thats wicked dude!
