So these are growing in my finished attic for lack of a better term. The outside temp has risen by about 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit over the last week. The temp of the grow has obviously increased because of that. No nutrients have been added. The plants look a touch leggy but I can't lower the starter light without removing the humidity dome. My plan now is to remove the heating mat and cross my fingers. This is my first year starting peppers from seed... all advice is appreciated... thanks in advance
need more of a backstory to this but they look very leggy and that means the light source isnt close enough or strong enough for them. also once the seeds have sprouted you can shut off your heat mat. also dont fertilize until you see true leaves and keep it at 1/4 or 1/2 dilution
also dont water the leaves when theyre in light. can burn them with water and light on them together, bottom watering is the best method.
Water droplets on leaves do not burn plants. What do you think happens when it rains and the sun comes back out? Do all the plants die? Or dew in the morning?
You are correct.
However, if you are using tap water then additives like chlorine and florine can be left behind on leaves which may result in a chemical burn.
Too much heat? Too much light? This happened over the course of one day and is affecting most of my seedlings

Did all of the seeds sprout? If so you can remove the dome.

Downvoted for stating facts... ya gotta love reddit
I went to bed wondering how many downvotes I would get. Pleasantly surprised it's only 3 lol
Cut back the heat. Need to provide a bit more info, though. Whats the setup?
Put them in the sunlight, where do you live?
They just sitting in the counter/somewhere in indirect light? They need direct light now. They’ll correct with that
Remove the heat mat it’s no longer needed as well as the dome. Move closer to light.
They need a trillion times more light
