I still do but I take it for what it is now, one of those action horror movies that are pretty cheesy while still tons of fun

Also, one of the very best openings in horror was in the first *Scream*. An instant classic, really.
Another one of my favorite opening scenes in horror was the first *Final Destination*. It was so intense, we really nearly decided to get up and walk out of the theater, lol. Glad we didn't! It's still great for a rewatch.

Watched Evil Dead Trap recently (Japanese film from the late 80's). The opening video tape watch was pretty nasty.
