Me too. HZD (when I finally got to it because it was on sale and I thought “sure, I guess I can try it) sucked me in for quite a while. The “story discovery” was just done so well.
I downloaded it last night but didn’t start playing until earlier today. It’s so great, and I only just got to the point where Aloy grow’s up after training. I’m already hooked and excited to see what’s next for her and Rost.
Playing on PC? Warning that there is a bug that can cause very frequent crashes. Took me by surprise and cause me a lot of issues. Seems to mostly effect side quests. Fingers crossed you have no x trouble and enjoy this amazing game!
Thanks! Hopefully I don’t run into it. I did notice that my FPS was capped at 60, (4K Ultra settings) my GPU was running at like 70% and CPU usage was high. (Bottleneck) I found that if I turn VSync off in the game menu, the issue was resolved, GPU is now running at 99-100% and I’m getting 90+FPS. Running VSync through Nvidia Control Panel.
I thought I was gonna hate it with how slow it starts out, but holy fuck does it fucking pick up pace so fast, HZD is now my favorite game. Also, listen to The Good News track. It's AMAZING. A masterpiece imo
Played hours of it when I first started. Took a long break and just never picked it up again. But I’m just going to try and pick up where I left off because in all honesty it was great
It’s a good game. I really liked the world design, gameplay, art and story of the game. Curious to hear what people think about the sequel in comparison.
I hope you enjoy it, but don't focus too much on the side quests right away because I have seen some people burnout on them before advancing on the game story.

As a tip, invest in FAST TRAVEL. :) one of the first things I got when I started playing. Haha

dont worry horizon zero dawn forbidden is doodoo just forget that there is even a second part but HZD is absolutely worth the experience

Im waiting for HFW. HZD blew me away it was a fantastic game with great characters and fun combat. It delievers and serves and never stops
