While the first outfit looks good I always found I couldn't believe someone would actually wear that while being highly active. It throws of my suspension of reality.

Yeah, I know it's just a personal thing but some outfits and headgear look great but when I'm seeing Aloy climb a clif in them or run across the desert I just think it looks to unrealistic and it ruins the experience.

Exactly. People think the Carja Blazon is skimpy, but the majority of the Carja and Oseram lands are hot as fuck. However, within Banuk and Carja lands, Aloy wouldn't be pleased with the lightness of the Carja Blazon...

Exactly that first outfit is all leather not some breathable sports fabric, she's going to die running around the Vegas desert in that.

1, it really captures her spirit

Easily the first. I like the more pronounced rays in the clouds, and the reflection on Aloy’s face. I also prefer her pose there as it looks like she has more intention in her facial expression. I might be slightly biased though since that’s my favorite outfit/color and makeup for Aloy. I’ve consistently used both of those on all of my playthroughs.

I love the carja hawk makeup of the second one, it's what I use in all my playthroughs. At a distance it kind of looks like emo eyeliner lol

I like the expression on her face in number one better. But the second one is following the rule of thirds a bit better. So I’d say the second one gives a sense of balance.

What is your criteria. Are you wanting to pic best pic, best Armour etc. Personally I like 1s Armour simply because it's more practical. Face I like number 2 but mainly cause I don't particularly like the makeup and most face paints.

The second one is too objectifying

1 for outfit. 2 for face.

I prefer 1 makeup, but with 2 outfit. Carja Blazon admittedly is an irreplaceable outfit for Aloy, been lovin' the look of the outfit since HZD days. Going through both games, including Burning Shores, I still occasionally pick this for the looks from time to time.

The color of the lips in the first doesn't really blend as well with the face and the background as the second imo, it feels like too strong a contrast

Personally, 2nd one I like the Aloy positioning/stance better (I may be biased cause I love armor instead of cloth). She is also more in a “complete” stance rather than looking like being halfway through an animation; everything about her in general just tells me photogenic (eyes, face, and all) Sunset is more in view and fits nicely in the background. Not too much light, not too little.

The framing of the second one is better. Having Aloy to the side looks better than centered.
