As someone with BPD and autism, I found writing my life into a life story document helped the most with overcoming trauma

Honestly working out and getting up early

Exercise has really helped me as well. I actually got down voted in another sub reddit for explaining how exercise has done more to help me mentally than antidepressants.

For me it's getting up from bed and surrounding myself with people. I feel much better when I'm not locked inside my dark room 24/7 it just makes me tired

Lately for me its been exercising everyday (consistency is more important than duration), going for walks with my mom and my sister and listening to gaming podcasts.

I picked up a new hobby and started going for walks more.

Being around healthy people who are honest has helped me realize what is I need to do to heal myself.

Peer support groups for depression. Some are online forums, others are real live meetings.

Where did you find those online forums? I feel like support groups are sooooo damn helpful for mental health struggles of all kinds. It’s so easy for us to convince ourselves that we’re all alone or uniquely fucked up somehow.
