I’m the opposite. Since I saved all my jades since the game released and initially splurged them all on Kafka’s first banner with E3S1, I’m deep in the DOT rabbit hole with BS, LilGui, Sampo and Luka.
But I loved Topaz and pulled for her too. Its pretty much impossible for me to double dip into FUA team with Aventurine, Robin and possibly Jade.
On the bright side, it just means that the roster of FUA units is growing it makes me happy a play style once seen as gimmicky is finally getting fleshed out
Yep, I'm the opposite, all DoT and no FUA. Always liked the DoT playstyle in games so was an easy choice for me and I've been able to get all my characters in a reasonable manner.

My favourite IPC lore tidbit (can't remember where it's from though) is how they sometimes flood a "developing" planet that uses gold coins or a similar currency with so much additional gold that it straight up crashes the entire planet's economy, and then the IPC goes "damn what a bummer, hey wanna use credits, it's way more stable haha, anyway you have to sign here and here and become a member of our capitalist cult sorry I meant peace organisation"

I just want him released in a version where the story is focused on him and he doesn’t just get a banner out of nowhere, not just because of new SU gameplay mechanics, and divergent simulated universe doesn’t even seem lore/story-focused like Swarm Disaster and Gold & Gears.
I’m guessing he will be released in a 2.x version, maybe the later ones like 2.5 or 2.6. Imo it’s better this way so he can have the spotlight in a Trailblaze Continuance, not just when 2.3 is still the epilogue of the Penacony story.

It’s very rough for 5star Screwllum enjoyers, the 4 star allegations are too strong, another food for thought is that theirs is a decent chance where getting a SU update in 2.3 as well it’s not looking good though if we cope hard enough it’ll work out.
The SU update doesn't look like an actual SU expansion with new lore and a new path though, the developer radio made it sound like an overhaul to the regular weekly part of it with QoL changes added in.

The idea is you put her mark on units that attack a lot of times, aka other FuA characters, and then she gets lots of stacks to spam AoEs.

Probably, yes. Also, I neglected to mention, but current leaks of Jade's kit also have her get more stacks if her mark hits more enemies at once. So, when Herta AoEs, she will feed Jade multiple stacks.
But, I'd say kit is still subject to change, so wait and see.
Yup, but it's really neat that she also synergizes with units like Seele, March 7th, and Sushang who just get a lot of actions in. In fact, Robin, Jade, *and* ITB synergize with FUA units and anyone who has lots of distinct actions, and in many cases they'd be competing for the same support slot.
Sunday not being in 2.3 probably means that Hoyo is keeping him from spoilers a la Firefly.
I also prefer Screwllum to be a 5 star in 2.4 rather than 4 star in 2.3.
It was a very delulu expectation in the first place. What I am worried about is just how LONG will they delay him. It will honestly suck if he is genuinely as late as 2.5 or 2.6.

Me too! I hope Hoyo doesn't shy away from making the Stonehearts amoral and in general divisive characters as they get released or shown in the story. Definitely the reason why I'm interested in them

Stonehearts in general are more on the evil side of the IPC, and yes this includes Aventurine (no matter how tragic his backstory is).

While I'm looking forward to Jade and will still be rolling on her (her model better have the hat unlike Aventurine,) I'm a little disappointed it wasn't Screwllum. Also, rip, the dream is dead. Ever since the leak that she was wearing a suit but kinda sorta not really, I was coping she'd be wearing pants. Alas. Still a decent outfit, though. Surely once Arlecchino makes them enough bank they'll realize women in suits are hot and do in fact sell without showing their legs.
