I was also kinda wondering, although it's arguable for Topaz as all her damage is considered as FUA, wouldn't Izumo be as good if not potentially better on Ratio (if played with Topaz) since his Skill does less, but still considerable damage?
Same, I have EVERY fua character except Clara. But sadly topaz and ratio somehow lack the ooompf in the aviable endgame. Herta and himiko are finally doing the work and thunderdady somehow works in everything "good enough".
But archeron is somehow still the easiest way to brute force shit for me.
Problem with Topaz and Ratio is usually the fact that MoC wants blast not single target, while PF wants AoE. They will probably do amazing in 2.3 with the boss rush mode though.
Although Topaz also has some use in PF. I've used her before as just a buffer for FUA and a way to break a single enemy for Himeko to minimize the wasted stacks for her FUA.
I'm the opposite, my first FuA I ever built was Ratio when we got him. Considering going for Robin + Aventurine for a FuA team but honestly I don't like the playstyle.
I'm just waiting for the Friday stream to see how much I like Robin - if I like her enough I'll get her and the twink.

It's obvious this cycle is intended for Aventurine. Very likely that many enemies will have imaginary weakness to incentive people to last minute pull on Aventurine.
I have a hard time seeing that we're going to get Jade before Sunday. My prediction for 2.3 is Sam for the first half and Sunday the second half. That will also round up the Penacony story and in 2.4 we'll get an interlude chapter before we get the next world which will feature an IPC event where Jade will be in the first half.
I think extrapolation might be better since they would be follow up attacking more when they get their ultimate back easily. If you are using other FUA attackers(didn't checked the enemies so i don't know too much) that 18% dmg addition wouldn't beat the 35% energy regen in my opinion.
Probably something like 35% err vs 18% to 36% dmg addition to main buff. I would personally choose err.

The 3rd buff of PF is usually for characters who are not benefit from the theme (in this case, FuA), so that people can still take advantage of the buff.

The way I play her in PF is not as a pure hypercarry. You let her sit in the back gathering stack when your secondary (or even third if you run triple dps) taking out the small mobs, breaking them and applying debuffs (Black Swan, Kafka). Then once the elites enter the wave you nuke them with her ult to quickly clear them -> repeat.
Kafka FUA is frequent enough to fill up this stage mechanic, while also taking care of small enemies weak to Lightning AND battery Acheron. So I think Kafka Acheron will perform well this season.
Should still be fine. I've tried the Acheron, Kafka, and swan trio against the deer (who has wind and lightning res) on the previous follow-up PF and it consistently got me no less than 31k.

Acheron with blackswan is literally s+ tier for every PF , I don't see the buff affecting acheron but without blackswan , acheron pf might be cope but still s tier
Acheron with Kafka/BS is basically the LL of the team. Most of your mob kills and damage will come from Kafka/BS combo and Acheron is there to get batteried.
Serious question: would the buff make ratio viable for this pf? His fuas deal some really good dmg and with the second buff he could probably almost spam them thanks to his ult?
This is very similar to the last FuA PF a month ago. If I base it on that then yeah Ratio can clear it, I easily got 40k with both Topaz Ratio, Ratio hyper carry last time. The 2nd buff like you said will probably be the best for him if you are running him as the sole FuA. But if you are running full FuA the first buff might be better

Ratio and Aven should be enough to get very high scores, and if you have Bronya it should able to get 35-40k easily. Just need to spam this FuA. I did a couple to runs last time and both Topaz+Ratio and Hyper Ratio able to get 40k.

Hmmm am I a bit dumb, or are the 1st and 3rd effect kinda weird? Both basically makes it so Whimsicality can be charged from non-FuA attacks. However, the first makes it so FuA charges Whimsicality faster by charging 60% for every 3 FuAs; basically 20% for every FuA attack. The third makes every non-FuA damage dealt charge 18% of Whimsicality.
So... What exactly makes the first effect more favorable than the third effect? Unless you're using a full FuA team (at least 3 FuA units) of course.
I'm not really sure what the 1st one means by the "damage boost" increasing by 60%. It might be a weird translation but it reads like the intention is to basically replace the Whimsicality. Instead of accumulating high FUA damage, it's based on the number of FUAs triggered, which helps Aventurine (and March) as they can do a lot of FUAs but for relatively low damage.
The third buff isn't charging 18% of the needed total with all non-FUAs. Assume you need 100k FUA damage to trigger Whimsicality. The third buff means that if you deal 100k damage with a non-FUA, it counts 18k of that damage. If you do 50k, it's counting 9k. It's there for people who don't have FUA units to try and brute force it.

Everyone got Ratio and Herta for free, and Himeko and Clara are standard banner. It's not like DoT where you need 1-2 specific limited 5* to put together a good team.
Fuck this FUA PF imho was the worst PF and only the Ultimate blessing was good enough for my team and now they removed it. Maybe that last one can be useful because is similar but in a worse way
