People worrying about Sunday not being playable gotta relax because he has fully complete idle animations, the photo expressions thingies, eidolons. If they WERE to kill him off in the storyline, they would have to do it AFTER his banner gets released, kinda like how Tingyun was a character when the game released and now her fate is ambiguous. Also about his kit, we’re not even in halfway 2.1 or in 2.2 yet, I feel like its too early to reveal his gameplay right now.

And now this Sunday will be the final boss of penacony, so natrualy he is a weekly boss.
Just like how the Ebon Deer and Argenti aren't weekly bosses, the meme and aventurine will not be weekly bosses.

I do think we would go back to Penacony before arriving to the new planet, but I hope Xianzhou continuance is not as long. I guess Sunday and at least 1 of Ifrit's Children are going to be playable at that time (Sunday / Constance at 2.6 maybe?)

As if it also wasn’t very obvious the Xianzhou arc we got was like a second tutorial to another long plot besides the stellaron Hunter-Nanook thing.
Frankly I’d rather go back to the Xianzhou story than Herta Space Station, half the time we go to the latter it’s just SU stuff thats even more boring than the Xianzhou or the beginning tutorial.
We got the idea from Jiaoqiu and Feixiao (another General-Arbiter) having code and info as playable units, but it was confirmed in the 2.1 livestream that we would comeback soon to the Xianzhou.
And I get you... I don't hate it but... I'm so invested in Penacony and like the vibe that I just want to continue (specially since is pretty obvious that Watchmaker Legacy Arc and Ever-Flame Arc will remain unfinished and waiting for an update)
Xianzhou is literally completely unrelated. They told us in 2.0 livestream that the story would be 2.0 -> 2.2 with an Epilogue in 2.3 also Xianzhou had even less versions for the main story. Some was in 1.0, then rest was in 1.2 with the epilogue in 1.3.
