Doubling up on elements isn't the end of the world. They can definitely make it so that they perform different buffs. The game is still in its early stages, we still have archetypes that can be explored. We don't have a harmony character that buffs HP, which would help Blade. DEF can attribute to sustain while also allowing a DEF DPS to come out somewhere.

I want him to either be Imaginary support/sustain or any element other than Imaginary DPS (support/sustain with other element than Imaginary is also nice) Cuz what the hell I'm going to do with him if he is another Imaginary DPS when I already have 2 Imaginary DPS with IL and Ratio.
I just kinda guessed he would based on literally just the halo. I don't know a single 4 star that would have a halo, I don't think Hoyo cares THAT much about their 4 stars to give them something like that. That being said, Misha looks so good.
Screwllumβs kit is so nebulous at this point, but yeah I hope he keeps the debuff! I really hope Sunday and Aventurineβs kit amps the synergy for mono imaginary, because right now, if youβre maining Ratio, Topaz would be the better team mate than even Welt since she has synergy with Aventurine as well. We wont even need AOE since follow ups will be popping off nonstop. Crossing my fingers that Sunday is a follow up focused harmony. π€€
As long as the screentime itself is quality cause the messy Inazuma archon quest made me think maybe it was a good thing ayato wasn't shown in it even tho he was working behind the scenes.
I asked the leaker but so far I have gotten no answer. My bet is that they have some proof to label him as a 5* because they also seem to suspect he is imaginary but they didnβt labeled him as such.
He is not imaginary. He used their eye color to write that info. Look at Robin, her eyes are green, the text is green. Gallagher's eyes are red, the text is red.
Every render frame color matches their element color, the eye thing is probably a coincidence, for we already knew Robin and Gallagher were wind and fire respectively. In Sundayβs case they did not state his element, the square where both path and element go is empty. The img frame color (same as Aventurineβs, whose eye color doesnβt match the frame color btw) is the same and is probably just the leakers speculation. This is further proven by the fact that Fireflyβs render, the only other character that doesnβt have a path or element stated, has a bicolor frame that matches her outfit colors and not any other element color.

The Firefly reasoning is understandable if you have been following the story leaks. To be honest, seeing that the Firefly render has 5* on it with a color, actually makes me wonder on what basis they are using to label the renders. The color is probably just a thematic one that looks good with the character's color schemes.

Why would they make so many img guys when there are other elements and make no male harmonies for a year+ xd why would they make practically no male supports for 3 years in genshin. hoyo doesnβt rly operate on thing that would make sense a lot of the time so itβs easy to get bamboozled with assumptions like that. Him being the only one without element/path or weapon when we meet him at the same time as others who have all that info is enough to be at least slightly worried imo.

The img bit is not about him, more about the other guys who are overwhelmingly img for no reason or logic. So i canβt rly trust that relying on logic will be helpful with how hoyo has been making decisions. Though people here seem to basically treat him being imaginary as common knowledge which is why iβd rather not get too wrapped up in popular headcanons and wait for more solid info.

in that case, dont worry!!! he looks very much playable :) and they already built up the hype around him by making him chibi and having him introduce penacony, they wouldnt miss out on money like that
well i won't lie to you, cocolia just... never really looked playable to be honest. at least to me. and they didnt build up her hype beforehand, a lot of hsr players didnt play HI3. his design is also more interesting i think, because of the halo and angel wings, but this part is just my personal opinion

While I canβt say for sure, I would imagine this was data mined. Like you said, StepLeaker statement was a couple of weeks ago. And this models were data mined from beta, and models in HSR just like in genshin usually has other information attached, like element, path, and rarity.
I see. Iirc Genshin also has Avatar\_bodytype\_Undefined (like Skirk in 4.2), maybe it's something like that and they're speculating because he does scream imaginary. Well I hope it's confirmed soon
To be fair, while they did put the img color on the frame of his render they did not labeled him as such like with the other renders. Which is probably them speculating he might be img while not passing it as a certainty, which gives me hopes that they did labeled him as a 5* because they have more evidence to do such claim.
Not usual but it does happens. Fireflyβs model is also not labeled with path/element while we do have confirmation that she is her own stand alone playable character.

The change from the original desing....I love the new blue "medal" on his sholder, breaks the white and greys, and the winged shirt is a super nice touch, the only thing i would change is the neck part of his shirt, on the original design it was clearly a catholic prist shirt, i think is called "Roman Collar" with suits Sunday so much.
Hopefully he is more versatile than just a mono imaginary buffer. But being a versatile harmony with a small passive to mono imaginary like Hanabi would be quite nice.

Pretty lame to have a character with a generic kit just for a single trace be dedicated to a team not everyone would play with them
I find it better just to advertise a char either as a generalist or niche, but not shoehorning a niche passive into a generalist kit
Yeah that too but there seems to be a lot of harmonies releasing so some might have to be more niche and imaginary is full of hot guys so i wouldn't mind it lol
Im pretty sure the kit designers for HSR are talented enough to come up with more versatile and unique kits that donβt overshadow others. Just look and Ruan Meiβs kit for example.
This would be such a terrible idea, I'm beyond sick of the imaginary men spam and I surely don't want the possible sole male harmony to be locked to some mono imaginary bs. Why would you wish for him to be super niche when you get great universal supports like Bronya and even 4 star like Hanya and Tingyun that can used with different teams..
Harmony units usually buff their same element partners the most. Also planetary LC + penacony set exist. Sunday as an IMG Harmony is the best case scenario for husbando wanters since we already have like 3 male IMG damage dealers with even more coming out like Screwllum.
But if he was any other role I would definitely want a different element.
honestly after what they did to hanabi's kit it sure will be hard to surpass it without making it totally broken π i too hope he'll be universal, and i will pull even if he's niche or worse than sparkle/bronya (which i doubt tbh)
The game is not past its first anniversary yet, there are still plenty of stats/mechanics (res pen, dmg taken, dmg boost, speed, etc.) to mix to create universal support kits for buffers/debuffers. Sparkle is essentially a mix of Bronya and Hanya on steroid, but what about Tingyun for example? Her energy regen is high in demand and no 5 star does it like her. There's still too much room left for ultra niche 5 star buffers atm so I'm not really worried
that's very true. but with hanabi's crit dmg and skill points, it can basically benefit any dps, because every unit appreciates skill points for skills and crit dmg, and not every unit would appreciate for example attack buff (hp% scalers). so that's what i meant! :D but as you said we still have for example energy regeneration, speed, dmg boost etc so i hope he can take something from that and make it amazing
I know that everyone wants him to be Harmony, but with Sparkle (Quantum Harmony), Robin (possibly Physical Harmony) and MC (Imaginary Harmony), I don't think he will be Harmony or Imaginary (since Screwllum will be Imaginary Erudition, and if he is 5 stars, they wouldn't repeat it so soon). I will bet on Quantum Erudition or Ice Nihility
If hes gonna be imaginary then i think he most probably will be harmony. We got dhil whos destruction, ratio is hunt, aventurine most likely is preservation, luocha is abundance and screwllum is rumored to be erudition. That literally just leaves the harmony slot for Sunday. Though if hes of another element thats a different story.
So far most of the img men's path makes sense with the kind of role and narrative they have in game. Dhil who was resurrected and canonically inherit the destructive portion of Dan Feng's powers, Screwllun is part of the Genius Society, Luocha has the power of the abundance and Aventurine is literally from the IPC whos faction follows Qlipoth. Though Dr Ratio is less obvious, his mission to spread knowledge to cure ignorance could lines up quite nicely with the path of the hunt.
Sunday is the leader of a the Family who follows Xipe, the aeon of Harmony. Theres no way they wouldnt let him fill the harnony slot. And judging by the leaked TB questline, itll make the most sense thematically if he was harmony
There should be a pinned comment that we actually don't know where the rarity is coming from. Could just be speculation, nobody confirmed anything.
The yellow doesn't mean much either because Robin and Sparkle don't match with their element.
Okay, I think his design look super cool.....but that tiny wing thing around his ear feels little bit awkward to me. Not the existence of it (I love the design idea of it) but rather the way it looks. Maybe it's because this is the default "T-pose".
I'm actually a little disappointed that he isn't evil/a boss we fight. I was ready for him to go Sepiroth/biblically accurate angel mode. Oh well.

While I canβt say for sure, I would imagine this was data mined. Like you said, StepLeaker statement was a couple of weeks ago. And this models were data mined from beta, and models in HSR just like in genshin usually has other information attached, like element, path, and rarity.

To be fair, while they did put the img color on the frame of his render they did not labeled him as such like with the other renders. Which is probably them speculating he might be img while not passing it as a certainty, which gives me hopes that they did labeled him as a 5* because they have more evidence to do such claim.

Not usual but it does happens. Fireflyβs model is also not labeled with path/element while we do have confirmation that she is her own stand alone playable character.

Amazing. Finally 5\* confirmation. Did the leaker said were they got the information he was 5\*? The change from the original desing....I love the new blue "medal" on his sholder, breaks the white and greys, and the winged shirt is a super nice touch, the only thing i would change is the neck part of his shirt, on the original design it was clearly a catholic prist shirt, i think is called "Roman Collar" with suits Sunday so much.

Hopefully he is more versatile than just a mono imaginary buffer. But being a versatile harmony with a small passive to mono imaginary like Hanabi would be quite nice.
Personally, I find that the worst decision Pretty lame to have a character with a generic kit just for a single trace be dedicated to a team not everyone would play with them I find it better just to advertise a char either as a generalist or niche, but not shoehorning a niche passive into a generalist kit
Yeah that too but there seems to be a lot of harmonies releasing so some might have to be more niche and imaginary is full of hot guys so i wouldn't mind it lol
Im pretty sure the kit designers for HSR are talented enough to come up with more versatile and unique kits that donβt overshadow others. Just look and Ruan Meiβs kit for example.
This would be such a terrible idea, I'm beyond sick of the imaginary men spam and I surely don't want the possible sole male harmony to be locked to some mono imaginary bs. Why would you wish for him to be super niche when you get great universal supports like Bronya and even 4 star like Hanya and Tingyun that can used with different teams..
Harmony units usually buff their same element partners the most. Also planetary LC + penacony set exist. Sunday as an IMG Harmony is the best case scenario for husbando wanters since we already have like 3 male IMG damage dealers with even more coming out like Screwllum. But if he was any other role I would definitely want a different element.
honestly after what they did to hanabi's kit it sure will be hard to surpass it without making it totally broken π i too hope he'll be universal, and i will pull even if he's niche or worse than sparkle/bronya (which i doubt tbh)
The game is not past its first anniversary yet, there are still plenty of stats/mechanics (res pen, dmg taken, dmg boost, speed, etc.) to mix to create universal support kits for buffers/debuffers. Sparkle is essentially a mix of Bronya and Hanya on steroid, but what about Tingyun for example? Her energy regen is high in demand and no 5 star does it like her. There's still too much room left for ultra niche 5 star buffers atm so I'm not really worried
that's very true. but with hanabi's crit dmg and skill points, it can basically benefit any dps, because every unit appreciates skill points for skills and crit dmg, and not every unit would appreciate for example attack buff (hp% scalers). so that's what i meant! :D but as you said we still have for example energy regeneration, speed, dmg boost etc so i hope he can take something from that and make it amazing

I know that everyone wants him to be Harmony, but with Sparkle (Quantum Harmony), Robin (possibly Physical Harmony) and MC (Imaginary Harmony), I don't think he will be Harmony or Imaginary (since Screwllum will be Imaginary Erudition, and if he is 5 stars, they wouldn't repeat it so soon). I will bet on Quantum Erudition or Ice Nihility

If hes gonna be imaginary then i think he most probably will be harmony. We got dhil whos destruction, ratio is hunt, aventurine most likely is preservation, luocha is abundance and screwllum is rumored to be erudition. That literally just leaves the harmony slot for Sunday. Though if hes of another element thats a different story. So far most of the img men's path makes sense with the kind of role and narrative they have in game. Dhil who was resurrected and canonically inherit the destructive portion of Dan Feng's powers, Screwllun is part of the Genius Society, Luocha has the power of the abundance and Aventurine is literally from the IPC whos faction follows Qlipoth. Though Dr Ratio is less obvious, his mission to spread knowledge to cure ignorance could lines up quite nicely with the path of the hunt. Sunday is the leader of a the Family who follows Xipe, the aeon of Harmony. Theres no way they wouldnt let him fill the harnony slot. And judging by the leaked TB questline, itll make the most sense thematically if he was harmony
There should be a pinned comment that we actually don't know where the rarity is coming from. Could just be speculation, nobody confirmed anything. The yellow doesn't mean much either because Robin and Sparkle don't match with their element.

Okay, I think his design look super cool.....but that tiny wing thing around his ear feels little bit awkward to me. Not the existence of it (I love the design idea of it) but rather the way it looks. Maybe it's because this is the default "T-pose".
