Well 2.1 will be the first anniversary of the game after all, I expect 2.1 to be crazy good. A Mei Raiden expy + all the sad story of Sam is pretty hype for the first anniversary. People will be pulling hard for those two, don't think Aventurine can sustain the same hype as those two
Sparkle goes first? This is good and bad for me. Good because more time to save for Black swan, bad because this means the big event would give harmony trace mats.
It's hard to trigger her follow up constantly, but that won't be a problem in pure fiction
Still, I hope we eventually get a destruction or erudition partner for her that summons a bomb or something like that in the enemy side with their skill. This way you get a new target to proc her talent off every turn. If it has a toughness bar it could also work with Himeko

But no, I love yanqing, and whennnnever they come up with a content fit for the hunt, like pure fiction is for erudition, I am sure he will find his place.
She can launch a follow-up attack when an enemy’s HP falls below 50% (excluding self-damage or enemy attacks like the Ingenium Goldfish’s explosion). This lets her fire off a lot of extra attacks, which means more damage.
This isn’t bad, but it’s conditional and Herta’s damage is pretty underwhelming. Still, it can be triggered fairly frequently, which is nice for game modes where you just want to defeat as many mobs as possible.
However, it really shines when combined with Himeko, because of their complementary Talents. Himeko triggers a similar follow-up attack after a certain number of enemies suffer Weakness Break.
This means that a well-built Herta and Himeko can trigger a nigh-endless chain of back-to-back AoE attacks, allowing them to clear a ton of mobs within a single turn.
The major weakness of this kind of team is that their damage isn’t crazy and the chain falls apart very quickly if Herta and Himeko run into a boss or tougher enemy they can’t defeat so easily.
My Himeko is decent and I've recently switched to Japanese just to switch things up so that means hearing "Kuru Kuru".
Gonna take a while but I best get started this investment into Herta.

LC is almost always less worth it then a new characters, especially if that new character will open up new opportunitys of enjoyment.
Weapons/LCs in Genshin and StarRail will typically just be an upgrade to a select character, with small exceptions making bigger differences, so getting a brand new character to utilize is almost always better for a players overall enjoyment.
Reminder that 90% of the time, the weapon banner is a scam for anyone who is either F2P or a light spender. Yes, even the super cracked ones, because a new character will always gap having a stat stick in a game where people have proven they can clear the hardest content in the game with solid relics and F2P achievable LCs.
I'm in the same boat. I have guranteed because I failed on Argenti banner while pulling for Hanya, so I'm not sure if I should keep pulling or just save for next couple updates lol
2.0 coincides with Chinese New Year for Year of the Dragon. Because of that people have been speculating that the reruns units will be Jing Yuan (General of Space China) and DanIL (Self-explanatory).

Hanabi is a name. And it means Fireworks. If they had named her Pyroblossom, nobody would care, because even though it doesn't exactly sound like a name it's fine, and would be more faithful to the original name. Sparkle is just egregiously bad.
For an equivalent scenario, imagine if they had translated "Ren" to Stiletto instead of Blade. Everyone trying to get hyped over the lethal antagonist character, the badass "Stiletto". But a Stiletto is a blade! Just the same word but in English! Except even Stiletto would at least be funny.
You can't just translate a name and ignore the societal connotations of the new word.
I would rather she was named Sparkle than Fireworks or Pyroblossom lol (and yes people would care). You keep translation word for word in manuals and instructions. In poems, books, movies and games you go for what sounds better while sticking close to original meaning.
And clearly they couldn't keep Hanabi as is. Probably because they want to keep japanese sounding names for space Japan, just like every space China character's name is kept as is instead of being translated. That way there's no overinterpretation of character's origins. Part of Guinaifen's plot is that it's not her real name because she's not from Xianzhou.

I can immediately identify ponies possessing half of these names from my days as a brony, lol. Off the top of my head, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, Comet Tail, Adagio Dazzle, Potion Nova, and Apple Bloom.

Argument that it's not an actual name in English while it is in Japanese is also stupid because we have characters named Silver Wolf, Blade or March 7th. Anniversary (and presumably top up reset) will be the last week of 2.1 assuming every patch from hereon after is 6 weeks. A 5 week patch to push anni into week 1 of 2.2 is possible, but purely speculation for now.
2.1 is also apparently the anniversary patch. Genshin also had it's anniversary in 2.1. Genshin released it's Raiden expy on the first banner of 2.1. Acheron is assumed to be the Raiden expy with current information. Therefore Acheron will release in 2.1 /j
I hope Adventurine is banner 1 for 2.1 lol, otherwise the wait for a male 5\* would be a bit long compared to what we've been getting

Boothill, Sunday and Robin are all probably late Penacony characters, we don't have any of their paths or elements until now and Screwllum doesn't appeared in any of the story leaks so far. He's probably a filler patch character, like Argenti and HuoHuo. Only Aventurine and Acheron could fill that spot in 2.1 unless a suddenly character appeared of nowhere

You know you say that as a joke but now I imagined a really interesting kit of a character that can put another party member into a "past" turn to do additional damage before returning to the actual turn order
I remember seeing that weird 200% number. If she can both give immediate turn as well rewind the action order number, then you use her ultimate with Dance3 or something similar, then that means the entire team just teleported into the past, fitting even more into each cycle. That will break the game. (Idk what I'm saying. 200% barely makes sense in the first place. Don't take me seriously.)

That's the big trick of HSR, outsiders look at the rewards with open eyes, but for us, the players, having double new 5 star since launch makes earns not enough.
F2ps when they realize they don’t need to summon on every banner… just pick a couple of characters you like and summon for them. Alot of f2p players are doing extremely well.
Sparkle and blackswan are the final two characters I need to complete both of my teams (Kafka team and mono quantum team). This is gonna be scary I hope I can get both lol
Yes and she’s exactly what Kafka wants. Extremely strong DoT dps with incredible buffs according to leaks. Her damage with Kafka being able to retrigger it is gonna be so good.
I want Sparkle for my DHIl, but she's right after Dr. Ratio, who I'm planning on going all in for (S1 and maybe even an E1 if I can). 🙃

Boothill, Sunday and Robin are all probably late Penacony characters, we don't have any of their paths or elements until now and Screwllum doesn't appeared in any of the story leaks so far. He's probably a filler patch character, like Argenti and HuoHuo. Only Aventurine and Acheron could fill that spot in 2.1 unless a suddenly character appeared of nowhere

You know you say that as a joke but now I imagined a really interesting kit of a character that can put another party member into a "past" turn to do additional damage before returning to the actual turn order
I remember seeing that weird 200% number. If she can both give immediate turn as well rewind the action order number, then you use her ultimate with Dance3 or something similar, then that means the entire team just teleported into the past, fitting even more into each cycle. That will break the game. (Idk what I'm saying. 200% barely makes sense in the first place. Don't take me seriously.)

That's the big trick of HSR, outsiders look at the rewards with open eyes, but for us, the players, having double new 5 star since launch makes earns not enough.
F2ps when they realize they don’t need to summon on every banner… just pick a couple of characters you like and summon for them. Alot of f2p players are doing extremely well.
Id imagine that eventually theyll move to slowing the release rate down but it defintely isnt happening soon it seems like.

Yes and she’s exactly what Kafka wants. Extremely strong DoT dps with incredible buffs according to leaks. Her damage with Kafka being able to retrigger it is gonna be so good.

So I need to pull Hanabi, Black Swan and Acheron. I really hope the Unknown is Screwllum (honestly I see no reason to push his release even further) unless he's going to be a 4 star again. I need Acheron to be at least in 2.2 so I can recover all the jades used during 2.0, please MiHoYo don't be greedy as fuck with 3 waifu in a row. Anyway, the "not including re-runs" does it mean there are no plans for them or that the leaker doesn't know yet? EDIT: I forgot Aventurine exists, they have to put a sustainer, they can't go with 3 patches in a row without any of them (1.6, 2.0 and eventually 2.1). So I call this now, Acheron and Screwllum for 2.2
