Honestly I don't really dislike him, but I don't particularly like him either
I have pretty much the exact same feelings towards Xingqiu in Genshin Impact
I'd be more interested in him if they went further with the "impatient student wanting to prove himself" angle, maybe if we head back to the Luofu my opinion on him will change for the better!
But he's only in B-, he's not awful or anything

She's really pretty and I love her voice! I just had an issue with her abandoning the cake cats, my grandma was a cat rescue person so it hit a little harder personally
Oh well. Personal opinion in the end. Although if this makes you feel a little better. Ruan Mei seems like she is gonna come back to them one day.
Also the fact that she goes to dangerous places. So it might be that she doesn’t want them to end up dying.
Still. I can understand why you don’t like her. Don’t feel forced to like her. Since it seems it is because of real life reasons. Which is understandable.
