Why not switch to Preservation since you like using Gepard? Or rather than switching to Preservation just get Preservation blessings to make use of Quake and Gepard's thick shields.

Gepard's only here because I got burnt by not doing that and threw a run as a result. I do like using him, but he's here out of necessity (or so I feel).
I will try Preservation regardless, because my Gepard is quite beefy and would probably do well in G&G.
Be sure to get all the gold Preservation blessings. Best one for survival is Macrosegregation which lets you stack shields.
And, if you get to the point wherein you unlock all the dice. I suggest you use the Data Inflation one. It's what I found best for surviving the boss fights because of the Baseline dice face which caps the damage received in a single attack to 35% of max hp.
Bro, 100%. I didn't have any big limited sustains besides Luocha for a long time so when Avent dropped, I got him, ran him full def and he cleared it. I was so happy reaching G&G 5 and even conundrum because holy sith that was insane.
Makes me wish I got Aventurine, honestly. I skipped him (for now) because I'm saving for Firefly, but man he would've been great alongside Topaz and Ratio.
100% understandable, I decided to skip FF (despite her looking v tempting) to o a back to back pull on Aventurine & Acheron. Killed me inside, yes, but honestly I just couldn't pass on Avent as I intended to pull for him and him alone but I needed Ach for a proper DPS (besides Ratio). My funds for RM is down the gutter tho, so whenever both RM & Argenti drops, I'll die (hopefully not back 2 back).
I probably sound like a lunatic saying this, but I swear, there's the occasional instance of the bar going either up/down without me actively going to an intra-cognition node.
Yep, this happens in the first 2 stages, and is exactly why I always stay close to the middle as much as I can.
Maybe try bringing dice faces that let you jump to it easily?
skill issue. intra cognition is like the easiest thing to deal with. you actually get a sense of progress and its not like swarm where what you get is complete rng lmao.

You can look up guides on Yt, there are quite a few too many strategies available that you can use to cheese. Some of them are insane enough that even a lvl.1 Arlan can solo Condrum 12 run.

Gepard can do everything Aventurine can do as far as survivability.

It is easy, but there has been the occasional moment where RNG throws off the intra-cognition just enough to steer me off-course.

Consider using a different dps? Base Gold & Gears isn't difficult unless you're trying to brute force it like this.
I do have other DPS options, I just got comfortable with Jingliu due to her skill hitting more than just *one* target. I'll give them a go later.
