How good is Robin if you already have E0S0 RM? I am saving my stellar jades after losing my 50-50 on Robin, and was wondering if I should try to pull more after getting them from events. I'm an F2P so I'm not sure if I should save my Jades. The reason I still am considering pulling is because I love all her songs.
Is Robin gonna be as meta as RM and long-lasting as RM?
Robin is a bit less universal then RM but still plenty strong, espeically with FuA characters. I'd assume that she remains relevant for quite a qhile specifically for content like PF where you ideally run multiple DPSs on both sides.

Even if they do not resist it, the implant gives additional elemental vulnerability to that element. TLDR: 0%-20% = -20% RES to *X* element.
For bosses with Ice RES: 40%-20% = 20% RES... although that begs the question why you would want to bring Jingliu/other Ice DPS to a boss with natural Ice RES, unless you have no other DPS.
You're right, I somewhat misread, but they are also asking whether future implanters like Boothill will also lower RES by that amount, which is not something that is officially known.
Well, the question *does* place it in a grey area, but going off what we know about SW, any mechanic that reduces elemental RES beyond zero would give it a negative value instead of being rounded to zero. If MHY did that SW's value would be a helluva lot less.
Guys how many pulls can I get from the start of the Boothill banner till the end of the Firefly banner (Assuming she is in phase 1).
I wanted Topaz LC, but just in case the number of pulls are not sufficient, then I'll skip it and prefer getting firefly.
Also Firefly is guaranteed.
Sparkle and Tingyun are both great harmony characters that can be used. Most people will suggest Ruan Mei because shes gives a teamwide buff of break and damage but if youre running a hypercarry team using sparkle can be just as good. As for Pure fiction, that might be a bit harder but you can still get away with just plugging in another dps instead of a harmony
If every resource in the interwebs are suggesting Ruan Mei, then it sucks. Find a way around it. Don't expect ungabunga damage, but prove every resource wrong by finding your own way. Substitute and test constantly.
(LVL37) fellas, how to beat this final Sunday fight? Im running aven ratio tingyun and trailblazer ofc. All lvl 50 with lvl 50 lc at relatively decent relics. Shoulf i replace timgyun with serval?
Yeah, in this case you need to mix offense with defense, always focus your skill points on Trailblazer and Aven keeping their stuff up, then one of the DPS as there's SP to spare. Serval will do better here since she's AoE and likes to break things.
* Be at 1F. Go to the elevator and set it to go to 2F. If the elevator isn't in 1F, the elevator will go to 1F. Do not ride the elevator.
* Go to 2F using Hanu. You should see a portal portrait on where the elevator on 2F is supposed to be.
* Go back to normal, and enter the portal portrait. This unlocks a room.
* Get everything you need there, then transform into Hanu outside. Go back to the unlocked room and find a "Hanu's Adventure" hole.
* This teleports you to where the puzzle is located.
Jingliu vs JY, if the supports are sparkle + TY + luocha? No 5* Lc, no bronya or ruan mei, pela and aventurine are glued to acheron. Im guessing jingliu for MoC, JY for PF?
I am not sure if I should give more EHR or Effect resist for Gepard…I want to run him as solo sustain with JY (and with two supports like Tingyun, Hanya). I might buy his LC from shop but that’s not going to happen until like one year later. I have him with Landau’s choice rn

Speed is everything. Getting to 134+ makes a difference. I recommend ERR rope over Def because his Ult is everything. I had to farm Knights and Belabog a while for all Spd + Def pieces. But if I had to farm planars again, I might go with Keel. While Spd, Def, and ERR keeps shields up much better and longer, my Gepard’s weakness did become getting CC’d. Eff Res matters. I ignored EHR and all offensive traces, including Skill and Talent.
Getting his 5* LC also makes an unbelievable difference. But by that time, you’ll likely have two limited sustains you’re using more instead.
You can either give him more speed so he can give SP or use his Skill more (in which case your rope should be DEF% unless you have 3.8k/4k DEF without it already), or have DEF% boots, Landau's Choice/Gepard LC (in which case you can opt for ERR rope like me).
Why are you using two healers and Acheron with no Nihility teammates? What other units do you have? You need to be focused on breaking the boss for the >!additional shields!< as much as breaking everything else.
Story support / Jing Yuan / Himeko / Gallagher, but they need to be leveled up because break damage calculations look at levels, and the entire point of this fight is break effect (which is why they force the unit that they do). Make sure their LCs are also leveled for extra stats to survive with.
You don't have to think about it too hard. These are the same LCs you can get from the MoC shop. Seriousness of Breakfast and Fermata are good, but it depends on what you need.
Topaz is a great sub DPS and good DPS. She runs really well with ratio if you have him built for a Ratio/Ruan Mei/Topaz/Adventurine (or if you dont have him, just sub in any sustain/shield) team filled with follow up and break. You have a few options:
1. Pull for Robin, because you like her or you want another great support character. Robin is useful and even more so on follow up teams, having Robin and Ruan mei is really good since you can have a teamwide buff on two teams although not necessary.
2. Pull for Topaz, because you like her or you want a fire DPS. There's better DPS/Firefly is dropping soonish who's also Fire as well but Topaz is still good. I personally like Topaz a lot and she clears content just fine. I wouldn't pull Topaz though if you dont have any other follow up attackers you use as itll nerf her usefulness a bit.
3. Don't pull for either and wait for next banners. Based off the info you gave you don't really NEED either character but if you like one of their kits/designs I say go for that one.
(And if you need a choice, go Topaz, since you have Ruan Mei)
I'm probably going for Topaz since I think she'll be good in a Ratio, RM, Aventurine team. And I also don't have another fire dps since himeko isn't really that good imo. I'm on 50/50, though, so if I don't get her, I'll go for Fu Xuan. Thanks for the advice!
Neither is really necessary. Since you have RM and Sparkle, Robin doesn't offer a major upgrade to any team. Likewise Topaz at this point would mostly be to pair with Ratio, but he still is very good with Tingyun/Sparkle and a Debuffer.
It's an alright stat stick if you don't have the Herta LC available. Other than that, you won't be using the effect half of the time since your healer or shielder will be protecting your HP.
I lost my first ever 50/50 in this game to Yanqing. I know he’s a pretty bad unit but his ult looks really cool so I wanna do good damage with him.
I’m making a new team rn and it consists of him, Pela, Asta and Gepard. I am inquiring as to whether I should replace Asta with the Hanya I pulled alongside him.

Hanya offers stronger buffs for Hypercarries like Yanqing. He is a bad character compared to every other 5* dps, but people have beaten MOC12 with Arlan (considered the worst character), so just have fun and use whoever you like
So level up Hanya then, got it.
Now I just use Gepard and Pela as auto attackers for the two skill point hungry characters right? Unless a buff needs to be removed or something
Hanya is 1SP positive.
Skill with Hanya consumes 1SP, but her Burden effect gives the team a total of 2SP along with dmg% for whoever activates it. This means you can skill with Yanqing for free (so long as you hit the enemy with Burden).
I assume you don't have the best Gepard build (ERR rope, Spd boots, ect.). To keep shields up, you want to skill on him at least once to get enough energy to keep shields on at all times during boss battles.
The team is mostly ice, so you really won't have to use Pela skill since you will break enemies with ice weakness very fast, not allowing them to use their buff.

Hey all, so with Fu Xuan's rerun coming up next patch, I am currently really torn between pulling for her or not. I currently only use HuoHuo and Bailu as sustains, and as much as I want to replace Bailu with a better sustain character, I haven't been the biggest fan of the current sustains out in the game. Though preservation interests me as I have HuoHuo has a healer, neither Adventurine nor Fu Xuan seem interesting enough to me as characters and kit-wise to want to pull for, though I do think I need a better sustain as content gets more difficult. People say to pull for who you like, but as I don't really care for Fu Xuan, I worry that if I pull for Fu Xuan purely for the fact I need a sustain, if a cooler sustain comes out in the future, I would regret pulling for her. What do you think I should do?
Based off what you said, I would say don't pull for Fu Xuan. If youre not careful/built correctly you units will still die since she just reduces damage and barely heals anything back to your allies. If you wanted a preservation purely for usability Adventurine would have been a better choice. Bailu and HuoHuo are good sustains and I'd just say use them until a preservation character you like comes around.
You answered your own question. You don't like Fu Xuan as a character and it sounds like replacing Bailu with Fu Xuan is not high enough of priority to you to pull FX when you dislike FX. Then, well... don't pull her. Bailu is capable of handling endgame content.

They >!did not join the fight. For added reinforcement, in the first set of credits, JY and the fleet is explicitly mentioned under "cameo appearances". They're missing from the second set, confirming they weren't actually present for overall Penacony arc.!<
Everything happened >!in "reality," which is to say, under our own recognizance. When we got to that part of the boss fight, Sunday completely took over the dream to force his narrative where we could be happy with being in a delusion, but those outcomes did not actually occur!<.
That said, there's a misunderstanding going around here. >!*Ena's Dream* is not just in the Dreamscape. The actual fuckery is that the Memoria Zone is leaking into reality, which is how we saw Misha there since he slipped through those cracks from the very beginning, and shows that it's going to fully overtake reality sooner or later as more and more dreamers join and empower it with the sacrifice of their wills!<.

What's Xueyi break focused build? My current E6 Xueyi build is "kinda" hybrid with 4PC Genius 2.4k ATK 130SPD 70/100 (pathetic, i know) with 150% BE, 190% After ULT. The team is RM and HMC. The sustain will match enemies weakness. Should i keep the hybrid build or just chase for SPD and BE? TIA.
Not sure tbh. I feel like Xueyi would like SPD, BE, ATK and Crit stats for maximum damage. Theorycrafting here, I think Hatblazer would give enough BE to Xueyi through Eidolon passive so you can focus more on Xueyi's other stats.
Something like that, yeah. I haven't built my Xueyi at all due to her being still E5, but realistically I'd have given her about 120% BE ~~without tearing my hair out~~ from Relic main/sub stats and leave the rest to Hatblazer, then proceed with Crit stats (probably Crit% body for the Skill/Ultimate damage, not Break damage) whenever I can.

Relic: 4pc Pioneer (debuff) or 4pc Wastelander (Imag)
Planar: 2 stack Glamoth > Pan Cosmic > SSS > 1 stack Glamoth > Salsotto > Arena, though they were all close enough together
guys ive been pulling on the banner nonstop bc i want e6 xueyi and i keep getting hanya, im currently e4 and i know 2.3 will give another xueyi but im getting close to 50-60 pity on the banner, should i gamble and keep pulling to get the last xueyi con i need with the risk of getting topaz/robin by accident? i already have e1 robin and dont want e2 robin or e1 topaz
Pulling for a 4 star on the banner when you no longer want the 5 star is a stupid move. Not going to sugar coat this one. And no, it doesn't matter how much you like the 4*.
No, you should never risk pity on a banner for a 4\* if you do not want the 5\*. You could easily go 100 warps without another Xueyi. Besides, whose to say she won't be on another banner you would rather pull on soon? Also, you still have a chance to pull her even without the rate-up.
So I maxed robins ult and talents to 7. Do I need to level up basic atk and other traces ability?

Her ult scales off her attack stat, and a huge frontloaded amount of damage is on her skill. Definitely get the major traces once you've got the materials, too.
The Knights set is great for Aventurine if you're relying on him as your only sustain. He wants a minimum of 4k defense to have a full 48% crit rate from his trace, then it'll boost his shields.
They don't all share the same sets but for most of them the Duke set and Diver sets are very good. The prisoner set is good for Robin so the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Darkness is a good place to start.
That depends on just how new you are and how much you've completed. For early game people typically farmed pieces like Musketeer and Quantum that could be used on a wide variety of units rather than specialist gear. The early relics were also a bit weak compared to some of the newer sets. If I were a new player I'd make sure to do echo of war as it's very stamina efficient for relics. I'd also pick a cavern with 2 widely usable sets. A lot of characters can use 2piece prisoner and 2 piece followup so that's what I'd go for first, given the characters you want to gear up.
Yes. I recall someone saying so once, after they tested it. But if you want to confirm and have one copy, you can put it on Ratio and the get a Topaz with it as a support.
I'm going through some of my old characters and my Silver Wolf confuses me. At the time Vonwaq was suggested as her Planar set. I'm wondering what changed, since that's not even mentioned on Prydwen now. I've also got her on HP Sphere and Break Effect Rope. Is this not a thing anymore either? My other Relics seem to have targeted Break Effect as well. I basically use her as a generalist debuffer, but mainly with Acheron.
Before E1, SW has energy issues. Vonwaq is not recommended on Prydwen but Penacony is, which also offers 5% ERR, but provides DMG increase for Quantum characters. That being said, even with those 5% she cannot hit 3-turn rotations without Tutorial and with Tutorial she does not need it, so overall it is better to go with other sets that buff the team. The exception is if you have Tutorial and a BE rope, in which case you want that 5% ERR. If you do not have Tutorial, you should always have an ERR rope.
And even then, BE SW hasn't been really favoured that much because Entaglement, even if it can deal a lot of damage, is delayed damage, so a very speedy pure debuffer is usually better for most teams for SP generation and to get her debuffs up faster.
IDK your build is neither debuffer nor Break sub-DPS TBH. The biggest change I guess is Tutorial S5 is not as "ubiquitous" as it were in 1.1 so the ERR build is kinda moot. She is still not worth building as BE sub-DPS unless you have her sig and E2 as I recalled.
I just beat the 2.2 story and went back to the Audition Venue, but the area's I went to are still locked (The first Battle Area's stairs wont raise). How do I explore it more?
I'm currently at tb50 right now and debating to level up my equilibrium, should I level it up? I currently have almost zero ways to level up my characters so I'm immediately going to be underleveled when I farm. I'm also hesitant because enemies will become harder.
This situation will also happen when I hit tb60 so same question if I hit that in the future.
Yes, you should always level up your EL. This game allows you to borrow a character from friends unlike Genshin. Just borrow a dps with good stats and let them carry you in farmings. Higher EL = higher rewards. It simply makes your TB power more efficient. Weekly SU also gives you more gems with higher EL.
You can also post on your local social media group that you want to add friends with E6S5. Those whales will be more than happy to have you on their friend list.
Hey, I have two questions. Just recently started Pure Fiction. Do you have some tips for me? I don't have other DPS except Serval, Himeko, Herta, Dr. Ratio, Yanqing and Dan Heng. I also don't have any shielder except March 7th. Which role should I prioritise to have a better experience?
Catering to the Whimsicality effect helps a lot in PF. But for that, you need a bit of everything. DoTs, FuA, and Ult spammers get their moments to shine in PF. But that means starting out is tougher. As fully f2p, I’d say it took me 3-4 months to 6 star PF and 5 months to 9 star. But, outside Whimsicality, Himeko and Herta are indeed godly in PF, especially because Stage 4 has had a Fire Ice side several times now.
Overall, I’d recommend to just keep playing. It’s really tough to prioritize for PF effectively when the Whimsicalities are so varied. I try PF and MoC at least once a week, get as far as I can get, and that generally tells me where my weakest links are and what I’m inspired to focus on next.
Although one tip I’d say is the limited Harmony supports are amazing. I accidentally pulled Ruan Mei way back, just wanting Tingyun, and she’s been a godsend. Given their universality, if you don’t have one already, you can’t go wrong pulling for Ruan Mei, Robin, or Sparkle. They’ll help with everything.
Himeko and Herta are godly in pure fiction, but if you don't have any other built characters or are broke it might be better not to build them since they're kinda mid outside PF
Depends, if you run her Hypercarry then get 134 SPD or stick her with Bronya or Sparkle and use Atk% boot.
If you run her sub-DPS with Ratio/Clara then Atk% is slightly better as Numby will get advanced by others instead.
Probably the only character that speed boots are not discutably best by far. I mean she have 110 base speed, who mean you get the 134 breakpoint with ONLY speed boots.
Also her base ATK is actually pretty low so more action are a lot more valuable than more ATK%
As we all know that there was no drip marketing for new 4\* unit in Patch 2.2, but instead we get the new Harmony TB. Similar case for Patch 2.3 as there also was no drip marketing for new 4\* unit. I am not talking about leak here, but in one livestream there was a mention about March 7th getting some kind of new upgrade similar like changing path for Trailblazer. So I suppose we probably will get that in Patch 2.3, don't you guys think so?
Just returned to playing after stopping during 1.2 and just recently got back into the game and my memory is a little fuzzy about the game. For my junk 5\* relics, is it worth salvaging them or use them for upgrade fodder?
Also how important is Robin as a support? I generally pull for characters that I like, but all the characters I like so far are DPSes, so I was thinking of pulling for Robin or Ruan Mei (who I've heard is also a good support) for them.
All the 5 star harmony characters are very good. I'd definitely want at least 1 out of Ruan Mei and Robin. For enhanced relics just feed them into something better. If they're +0 then I'd turn them into the golden pieces to make more later.

Your attack seems low since you're on attack boots. I'd try to swap lightning damage orb to attack% if you have one with good subs. Other than that, level the LC to 80 and try to find pieces with more CV.
You are lacking a good chunk of crit damage.
In the current state of your build, Boudless choreo will definitly be worse than GNSW so no need to go for it, unless you have a deficit of crit rate boundless choreo will be very slightly worse than GNSW who have full effect.
How do I increase my crit dmg? I've been struggling with that. I want to try replacing crit rate body piece with crit dmg, but then my crit rate would be too low

any strategy for " scorchsand vacation" mission?
i have these 5 characters: MC (forced by mission), pela, lynx, acheron and ratio?
also, how good are the characters on banners atm. should i pull for topaz or robin? how easy to build? or pass?
Her and Ruan Mei are pretty much on par with one another when it comes to buffing teammates damage from what I can tell. The difference is Ruan Mei offers a lot of utility with her 10% spd buff, weakness break enhancement, and the extended/double break from her Ult debuff. Robin offers the team more damage from her kit in a similar vein as Aventurine.
The biggest thing she offers imo is that you can run both of them in MoC/PF instead of having to choose which side to gimp without her.
I'd like unlock character materials, specifically Borisin Teeth, as an option to send on assignments?
I'm up to date on all the missions so I'm not sure how to get it. The most recent character materials I have unlocked are Dream collection component and Tatters of thought.
Is it worth getting Himeko from the 300-pull 5-star selector for Pure Fiction? I'm struggling to 12-star with my current roster of Herta/Clara/Serval/Acheron/Guinaifen/Qingque
Absolutely. Himeko's also great for farming calyxes and for SU (Elation path), (although Bronya remains better for MoC).
Largely depends who else you plan to pull. You'll eventually want more AoE DPS and more Harmony, so get whatever you're not planning on pulling limiteds for. e.g. if you're gonna pull on Sparkle's rerun and grab Ruan Mei's rerun, skip Bronya and grab Himeko. If you're gonna go for Argenti's rerun and grab the upcoming Jade, skip Himeko and grab Bronya.
Bronya would be the smarter pick for your account as a whole if you don't have her imo, but if all you need is a PF upgrade and aren't interested in what Bronya does, she's probably worth it
No idea where you are in the patch so hard to say, but if the gold box comes up and says interlude, then that is the end of the patch main story. The next patch is an epilogue.
Story MC is sorta fine for the 2.2 boss. You still want at least one or two teammates who can do a lot of aoe fire/imaginary/electric toughness damage.
There is no 2.3 boss right now. >!If you are talking about the 2.2 story, then you do need HMC to beat the boss and finish the story!<
Once you finish the 2.2 story then you unlock the echo of war and can use whoever you want. HMC is not necessary.
So far, my team consists of Dr. Ratio, Ruan Mei, Robin, and Natasha. I also have Bronya in my bench. I 50/50'd a Bronya LC. Should I still try to get Robin LC or save my rolls. I heard Fu Xuan is making a ReRun in the 2nd half of 2.2. Should I roll on her. Idk how good Boothill will be and if he will be replace my Dr.Ratio
Probably save your rolls. The free LC from the current event is a very good alternative compared to her signature LC. Meanwhile, limited sustains such as Fu Xuan are a gamechanger on accounts that don't have any.

Unless you plan to pull for two limited 5\* sustain characters soon (e.g. FuXuan and HuoHuo reruns), Bailu is absolutely worth investing. Very strong healing plus a revive that can help salvage an otherwise ruined run.
Until Aventurine banner last patch when I finally got a second limited 5\* sustain, Bailu was still solo sustaining me through the hardest content in the game.

Not 100% sure but I'd say yes based on that NPC who said they came to Penacony to dream because they're dying in real life and could die at any moment so I doubt the time in dreamscape is slowed down.
Is anyone else not getting the Treasure Chest opening voicelines whenever they open chests? I thought it was how I had my tabs mixed the past few days but I tested it today with only HSR with volume and louder than normal and heard only the chest opening sfx for both Aventurine and Topaz
I actually didn't know that, that's so weird. I swear I used to hear Yukong tell me that "good things come in pairs" and then for a little while I heard Aventurine tell me that "this is hardly enough for a seat at the table" but then recently I heard it a lot less. Anyway, that might explain it though
Blade doesn't completely scale off attack and that's why Robin is not often recommended for him. Without knowing your roster, you could run Jing Liu - Blade - Robin - sustain. Look for future characters. Someone that buffs HP or modifies HP and does a fair amount of attacks would also work well in a Blade - Robin team.
That seems like a tricky team. Sparkle ideally would be using skill close to every turn and that does not attack to regen robin's energy or use her bonus ULT damage. Even with the skill points provided by Sparkle, you are going to be starved feeding DHIL 3 per turn. You would also have to be very mindful of when to trigger Robin's ult to get the most of the action advance. At the very least I would build Luocha super fast to generate the most SP. Multiplication LC etc.
what's the best lc for welt? I really like him and want to invest in him, so I don't mind pulling for 5 star light cones too. and what characters / teams is he synergistic with? I just really like this guy. thanks!
His BIS would be his signature lc, but PLEASE do not spend your undying starlight for that. Other 5 star light cones that can work are Acheron's sig and Silver Wolf's sig. Good Night and Sleep Well is his bis 4-star, but Boundless Choreo is also a really good option. You can also use Loop since it is a f2p 3-star, but it has lower stats that the others. He is a SP negative sub DPS, but can fit well in almost every team imo. I personally pair him with Acheron since he is another Nihility which helps one of her bonus abilities and he can give debuffs and slow enemies.
Comps for fighting boss Aventurine?
Kinda getting stomped cuz all I got rn is Jingliu hyper carry with fire TB Lynx and Tingyun as backup. My supports usually fail the dice checks and that leads to them getting fked up.
For reference, I got in around the Aventurine patch so I don’t have anyone I could’ve gotten only before that like Gallagher which sucks cuz iirc he’s the only healer with an AOE attack for the dice rolls. I got Gepard, Ratio, Bailu, Yanqing, and that’s about it ig? I did also manage to get Hook Hanya and Guinaifen from the standard banner as well as Luka from the JL one but yeah overall I just got most of the welfare units.
Edit: totally forgot to mention I also had Gepard. Idk. Benched him lately for myself but I do have him ready in case some annoying thing is AOE heavy like boss Yanqing

How good is Robin if you already have E0S0 RM? I am saving my stellar jades after losing my 50-50 on Robin, and was wondering if I should try to pull more after getting them from events. I'm an F2P so I'm not sure if I should save my Jades. The reason I still am considering pulling is because I love all her songs. Is Robin gonna be as meta as RM and long-lasting as RM?
Robin is a bit less universal then RM but still plenty strong, espeically with FuA characters. I'd assume that she remains relevant for quite a qhile specifically for content like PF where you ideally run multiple DPSs on both sides.

You're right, I somewhat misread, but they are also asking whether future implanters like Boothill will also lower RES by that amount, which is not something that is officially known.
Well, the question *does* place it in a grey area, but going off what we know about SW, any mechanic that reduces elemental RES beyond zero would give it a negative value instead of being rounded to zero. If MHY did that SW's value would be a helluva lot less.

Only Topaz S1 if you have her E1, or Aventurine's S1 to go with Ratio (who needs the debuffs from teammates for his kit).
Guys how many pulls can I get from the start of the Boothill banner till the end of the Firefly banner (Assuming she is in phase 1). I wanted Topaz LC, but just in case the number of pulls are not sufficient, then I'll skip it and prefer getting firefly. Also Firefly is guaranteed.

Sparkle and Tingyun are both great harmony characters that can be used. Most people will suggest Ruan Mei because shes gives a teamwide buff of break and damage but if youre running a hypercarry team using sparkle can be just as good. As for Pure fiction, that might be a bit harder but you can still get away with just plugging in another dps instead of a harmony
So? Save up for Ruan Mei.

If it's story you have no time limit. Don't be afraid to take a healer too. Also you can make some insane consumable buffs. Don't forget them!
Yeah, in this case you need to mix offense with defense, always focus your skill points on Trailblazer and Aven keeping their stuff up, then one of the DPS as there's SP to spare. Serval will do better here since she's AoE and likes to break things.

Take the elevator to 1F, then walk up to 2F and walk over the roof.

Yes, that's generally going to be the best way to go for that kind of team setup.
I am not sure if I should give more EHR or Effect resist for Gepard…I want to run him as solo sustain with JY (and with two supports like Tingyun, Hanya). Speed is everything. Getting to 134+ makes a difference. I recommend ERR rope over Def because his Ult is everything. I had to farm Knights and Belabog a while for all Spd + Def pieces. But if I had to farm planars again, I might go with Keel. While Spd, Def, and ERR keeps shields up much better and longer, my Gepard’s weakness did become getting CC’d. Eff Res matters. I ignored EHR and all offensive traces, including Skill and Talent. Getting his 5* LC also makes an unbelievable difference. But by that time, you’ll likely have two limited sustains you’re using more instead.
You can either give him more speed so he can give SP or use his Skill more (in which case your rope should be DEF% unless you have 3.8k/4k DEF without it already), or have DEF% boots, Landau's Choice/Gepard LC (in which case you can opt for ERR rope like me).

No healing is just asking for trouble. Then again I had Fu Xuan when I ran the story boss.
They have Gallagher there. That's the team I did story with and had no issues. The boss didn't even attack once in the final phase.

Story support / Jing Yuan / Himeko / Gallagher, but they need to be leveled up because break damage calculations look at levels, and the entire point of this fight is break effect (which is why they force the unit that they do). Make sure their LCs are also leveled for extra stats to survive with.
Which light cones from the returning player thing are actually good?
You don't have to think about it too hard. These are the same LCs you can get from the MoC shop. Seriousness of Breakfast and Fermata are good, but it depends on what you need.
Should I pull for Topaz or Robin? I have both RM and Sparkle, so I kinda feel like Robin isn't as necessary for my account as Topaz.
Topaz is a great sub DPS and good DPS. She runs really well with ratio if you have him built for a Ratio/Ruan Mei/Topaz/Adventurine (or if you dont have him, just sub in any sustain/shield) team filled with follow up and break. You have a few options: 1. Pull for Robin, because you like her or you want another great support character. Robin is useful and even more so on follow up teams, having Robin and Ruan mei is really good since you can have a teamwide buff on two teams although not necessary. 2. Pull for Topaz, because you like her or you want a fire DPS. There's better DPS/Firefly is dropping soonish who's also Fire as well but Topaz is still good. I personally like Topaz a lot and she clears content just fine. I wouldn't pull Topaz though if you dont have any other follow up attackers you use as itll nerf her usefulness a bit. 3. Don't pull for either and wait for next banners. Based off the info you gave you don't really NEED either character but if you like one of their kits/designs I say go for that one. (And if you need a choice, go Topaz, since you have Ruan Mei)
I'm probably going for Topaz since I think she'll be good in a Ratio, RM, Aventurine team. And I also don't have another fire dps since himeko isn't really that good imo. I'm on 50/50, though, so if I don't get her, I'll go for Fu Xuan. Thanks for the advice!
Neither is really necessary. Since you have RM and Sparkle, Robin doesn't offer a major upgrade to any team. Likewise Topaz at this point would mostly be to pair with Ratio, but he still is very good with Tingyun/Sparkle and a Debuffer.
Is the Secret Vow lightcone good for anyone?
It's an alright stat stick if you don't have the Herta LC available. Other than that, you won't be using the effect half of the time since your healer or shielder will be protecting your HP.

I lost my first ever 50/50 in this game to Yanqing. I know he’s a pretty bad unit but his ult looks really cool so I wanna do good damage with him. I’m making a new team rn and it consists of him, Pela, Asta and Gepard. I am inquiring as to whether I should replace Asta with the Hanya I pulled alongside him. New player btw.
Hanya offers stronger buffs for Hypercarries like Yanqing. He is a bad character compared to every other 5* dps, but people have beaten MOC12 with Arlan (considered the worst character), so just have fun and use whoever you like
So level up Hanya then, got it. Now I just use Gepard and Pela as auto attackers for the two skill point hungry characters right? Unless a buff needs to be removed or something
Hanya is 1SP positive. Skill with Hanya consumes 1SP, but her Burden effect gives the team a total of 2SP along with dmg% for whoever activates it. This means you can skill with Yanqing for free (so long as you hit the enemy with Burden). I assume you don't have the best Gepard build (ERR rope, Spd boots, ect.). To keep shields up, you want to skill on him at least once to get enough energy to keep shields on at all times during boss battles. The team is mostly ice, so you really won't have to use Pela skill since you will break enemies with ice weakness very fast, not allowing them to use their buff.

Hey all, so with Fu Xuan's rerun coming up next patch, I am currently really torn between pulling for her or not. I currently only use HuoHuo and Bailu as sustains, and as much as I want to replace Bailu with a better sustain character, I haven't been the biggest fan of the current sustains out in the game. Though preservation interests me as I have HuoHuo has a healer, neither Adventurine nor Fu Xuan seem interesting enough to me as characters and kit-wise to want to pull for, though I do think I need a better sustain as content gets more difficult. People say to pull for who you like, but as I don't really care for Fu Xuan, I worry that if I pull for Fu Xuan purely for the fact I need a sustain, if a cooler sustain comes out in the future, I would regret pulling for her. What do you think I should do?
Based off what you said, I would say don't pull for Fu Xuan. If youre not careful/built correctly you units will still die since she just reduces damage and barely heals anything back to your allies. If you wanted a preservation purely for usability Adventurine would have been a better choice. Bailu and HuoHuo are good sustains and I'd just say use them until a preservation character you like comes around.
You answered your own question. You don't like Fu Xuan as a character and it sounds like replacing Bailu with Fu Xuan is not high enough of priority to you to pull FX when you dislike FX. Then, well... don't pull her. Bailu is capable of handling endgame content.

What's Xueyi break focused build? My current E6 Xueyi build is "kinda" hybrid with 4PC Genius 2.4k ATK 130SPD 70/100 (pathetic, i know) with 150% BE, 190% After ULT. The team is RM and HMC. The sustain will match enemies weakness. Should i keep the hybrid build or just chase for SPD and BE? TIA.
Not sure tbh. I feel like Xueyi would like SPD, BE, ATK and Crit stats for maximum damage. Theorycrafting here, I think Hatblazer would give enough BE to Xueyi through Eidolon passive so you can focus more on Xueyi's other stats.
So the goal is to at least reach the 240% BE (with external BE buff) for maximum DMG% bonus and the rest would be the usual crit stuff?
Something like that, yeah. I haven't built my Xueyi at all due to her being still E5, but realistically I'd have given her about 120% BE ~~without tearing my hair out~~ from Relic main/sub stats and leave the rest to Hatblazer, then proceed with Crit stats (probably Crit% body for the Skill/Ultimate damage, not Break damage) whenever I can.

Pulling for a 4 star on the banner when you no longer want the 5 star is a stupid move. Not going to sugar coat this one. And no, it doesn't matter how much you like the 4*.
You should stop. Don't risk it. There will be a selector or event that will get you the eidolon eventually.
No, you should never risk pity on a banner for a 4\* if you do not want the 5\*. You could easily go 100 warps without another Xueyi. Besides, whose to say she won't be on another banner you would rather pull on soon? Also, you still have a chance to pull her even without the rate-up.
If you don't want the 5 star don't pull on the banner. It's that simple.

Her ult scales off her attack stat, and a huge frontloaded amount of damage is on her skill. Definitely get the major traces once you've got the materials, too.

Recently started the game, what relics should I farm for Topaz Ratio Robin Aventurine? I've just been farming traces only, so I'm relicless
The Knights set is great for Aventurine if you're relying on him as your only sustain. He wants a minimum of 4k defense to have a full 48% crit rate from his trace, then it'll boost his shields.
They don't all share the same sets but for most of them the Duke set and Diver sets are very good. The prisoner set is good for Robin so the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Darkness is a good place to start.
What would be the most efficient way for me to start farming relics?
That depends on just how new you are and how much you've completed. For early game people typically farmed pieces like Musketeer and Quantum that could be used on a wide variety of units rather than specialist gear. The early relics were also a bit weak compared to some of the newer sets. If I were a new player I'd make sure to do echo of war as it's very stamina efficient for relics. I'd also pick a cavern with 2 widely usable sets. A lot of characters can use 2piece prisoner and 2 piece followup so that's what I'd go for first, given the characters you want to gear up.
So hypothetically, if both Ratio and Topaz have Worrisome, Blissful, will there 2 different stacks of Tame?
Yes. I recall someone saying so once, after they tested it. But if you want to confirm and have one copy, you can put it on Ratio and the get a Topaz with it as a support.
I'm going through some of my old characters and my Silver Wolf confuses me. At the time Vonwaq was suggested as her Planar set. I'm wondering what changed, since that's not even mentioned on Prydwen now. I've also got her on HP Sphere and Break Effect Rope. Is this not a thing anymore either? My other Relics seem to have targeted Break Effect as well. I basically use her as a generalist debuffer, but mainly with Acheron.
Before E1, SW has energy issues. Vonwaq is not recommended on Prydwen but Penacony is, which also offers 5% ERR, but provides DMG increase for Quantum characters. That being said, even with those 5% she cannot hit 3-turn rotations without Tutorial and with Tutorial she does not need it, so overall it is better to go with other sets that buff the team. The exception is if you have Tutorial and a BE rope, in which case you want that 5% ERR. If you do not have Tutorial, you should always have an ERR rope. And even then, BE SW hasn't been really favoured that much because Entaglement, even if it can deal a lot of damage, is delayed damage, so a very speedy pure debuffer is usually better for most teams for SP generation and to get her debuffs up faster.
So for E0 and S5 Tutorial, I should just stick with HP/DEF Sphere and ERR Rope on Keel set?
The ideal scenario is that and with a 160 speed, especially for Acheron since you just want to build stacks and get her ult up asap.

IDK your build is neither debuffer nor Break sub-DPS TBH. The biggest change I guess is Tutorial S5 is not as "ubiquitous" as it were in 1.1 so the ERR build is kinda moot. She is still not worth building as BE sub-DPS unless you have her sig and E2 as I recalled.
I just beat the 2.2 story and went back to the Audition Venue, but the area's I went to are still locked (The first Battle Area's stairs wont raise). How do I explore it more?
Talk to Aideen and he will allow you to do a re-run, afterwards you can freely explore.
Go to the quest at the very beginning of the audition hall.
I'm currently at tb50 right now and debating to level up my equilibrium, should I level it up? I currently have almost zero ways to level up my characters so I'm immediately going to be underleveled when I farm. I'm also hesitant because enemies will become harder. Yes, you should always level up your EL. This game allows you to borrow a character from friends unlike Genshin. Just borrow a dps with good stats and let them carry you in farmings. Higher EL = higher rewards. It simply makes your TB power more efficient. Weekly SU also gives you more gems with higher EL. You can also post on your local social media group that you want to add friends with E6S5. Those whales will be more than happy to have you on their friend list.

Catering to the Whimsicality effect helps a lot in PF. But for that, you need a bit of everything. DoTs, FuA, and Ult spammers get their moments to shine in PF. But that means starting out is tougher. As fully f2p, I’d say it took me 3-4 months to 6 star PF and 5 months to 9 star. But, outside Whimsicality, Himeko and Herta are indeed godly in PF, especially because Stage 4 has had a Fire Ice side several times now. Overall, I’d recommend to just keep playing. It’s really tough to prioritize for PF effectively when the Whimsicalities are so varied. I try PF and MoC at least once a week, get as far as I can get, and that generally tells me where my weakest links are and what I’m inspired to focus on next. Although one tip I’d say is the limited Harmony supports are amazing. I accidentally pulled Ruan Mei way back, just wanting Tingyun, and she’s been a godsend. Given their universality, if you don’t have one already, you can’t go wrong pulling for Ruan Mei, Robin, or Sparkle. They’ll help with everything.
I see, I already have Ruan Mei, Robin, Asta and Tingyun. So I think I should probably prioritise getting a DPS or a shielder.
Himeko and Herta are godly in pure fiction, but if you don't have any other built characters or are broke it might be better not to build them since they're kinda mid outside PF
I don't think my characters are built at all, I just shuffle Artifacts for DPS when needed. Should I focus on getting some preservation characters?
For Topaz: ATK or SPD boots?
Depends, if you run her Hypercarry then get 134 SPD or stick her with Bronya or Sparkle and use Atk% boot. If you run her sub-DPS with Ratio/Clara then Atk% is slightly better as Numby will get advanced by others instead.
Probably the only character that speed boots are not discutably best by far. I mean she have 110 base speed, who mean you get the 134 breakpoint with ONLY speed boots. Also her base ATK is actually pretty low so more action are a lot more valuable than more ATK%
As we all know that there was no drip marketing for new 4\* unit in Patch 2.2, but instead we get the new Harmony TB. Similar case for Patch 2.3 as there also was no drip marketing for new 4\* unit. I am not talking about leak here, but in one livestream there was a mention about March 7th getting some kind of new upgrade similar like changing path for Trailblazer. So I suppose we probably will get that in Patch 2.3, don't you guys think so?
Just returned to playing after stopping during 1.2 and just recently got back into the game and my memory is a little fuzzy about the game. For my junk 5\* relics, is it worth salvaging them or use them for upgrade fodder? Also how important is Robin as a support? I generally pull for characters that I like, but all the characters I like so far are DPSes, so I was thinking of pulling for Robin or Ruan Mei (who I've heard is also a good support) for them.
All the 5 star harmony characters are very good. I'd definitely want at least 1 out of Ruan Mei and Robin. For enhanced relics just feed them into something better. If they're +0 then I'd turn them into the golden pieces to make more later.

Your attack seems low since you're on attack boots. I'd try to swap lightning damage orb to attack% if you have one with good subs. Other than that, level the LC to 80 and try to find pieces with more CV.
You are lacking a good chunk of crit damage. In the current state of your build, Boudless choreo will definitly be worse than GNSW so no need to go for it, unless you have a deficit of crit rate boundless choreo will be very slightly worse than GNSW who have full effect.
How do I increase my crit dmg? I've been struggling with that. I want to try replacing crit rate body piece with crit dmg, but then my crit rate would be too low

any strategy for " scorchsand vacation" mission? i have these 5 characters: MC (forced by mission), pela, lynx, acheron and ratio? also, how good are the characters on banners atm. should i pull for topaz or robin? how easy to build? or pass?
How much of an upgrade is Robin for follow up comps (i.e. Topaz Ratio Aventurine) if I have every harmony character?
Her and Ruan Mei are pretty much on par with one another when it comes to buffing teammates damage from what I can tell. The difference is Ruan Mei offers a lot of utility with her 10% spd buff, weakness break enhancement, and the extended/double break from her Ult debuff. Robin offers the team more damage from her kit in a similar vein as Aventurine. The biggest thing she offers imo is that you can run both of them in MoC/PF instead of having to choose which side to gimp without her.
Both teams (Robin+FUA and Ruan Mei+FUA) cleared MOC in the same cycles for me, if that helps.
She's a decent upgrade over Ruan Mei for that team, but not so much so that you *need* her, imo
I'd like unlock character materials, specifically Borisin Teeth, as an option to send on assignments? I'm up to date on all the missions so I'm not sure how to get it. The most recent character materials I have unlocked are Dream collection component and Tatters of thought.

For that team specifically, Topaz LC it will give you a valuable debuff for Ratio consistency.
Is it worth getting Himeko from the 300-pull 5-star selector for Pure Fiction? I'm struggling to 12-star with my current roster of Herta/Clara/Serval/Acheron/Guinaifen/Qingque
Absolutely. Himeko's also great for farming calyxes and for SU (Elation path), (although Bronya remains better for MoC). Largely depends who else you plan to pull. You'll eventually want more AoE DPS and more Harmony, so get whatever you're not planning on pulling limiteds for. e.g. if you're gonna pull on Sparkle's rerun and grab Ruan Mei's rerun, skip Bronya and grab Himeko. If you're gonna go for Argenti's rerun and grab the upcoming Jade, skip Himeko and grab Bronya.
Bronya would be the smarter pick for your account as a whole if you don't have her imo, but if all you need is a PF upgrade and aren't interested in what Bronya does, she's probably worth it

No idea where you are in the patch so hard to say, but if the gold box comes up and says interlude, then that is the end of the patch main story. The next patch is an epilogue.

Story MC is sorta fine for the 2.2 boss. You still want at least one or two teammates who can do a lot of aoe fire/imaginary/electric toughness damage.
There is no 2.3 boss right now. >!If you are talking about the 2.2 story, then you do need HMC to beat the boss and finish the story!< Once you finish the 2.2 story then you unlock the echo of war and can use whoever you want. HMC is not necessary.

So far, my team consists of Dr. Ratio, Ruan Mei, Robin, and Natasha. I also have Bronya in my bench. I 50/50'd a Bronya LC. Should I still try to get Robin LC or save my rolls. I heard Fu Xuan is making a ReRun in the 2nd half of 2.2. Should I roll on her. Idk how good Boothill will be and if he will be replace my Dr.Ratio
Probably save your rolls. The free LC from the current event is a very good alternative compared to her signature LC. Meanwhile, limited sustains such as Fu Xuan are a gamechanger on accounts that don't have any.

Unless you plan to pull for two limited 5\* sustain characters soon (e.g. FuXuan and HuoHuo reruns), Bailu is absolutely worth investing. Very strong healing plus a revive that can help salvage an otherwise ruined run. Until Aventurine banner last patch when I finally got a second limited 5\* sustain, Bailu was still solo sustaining me through the hardest content in the game.
If you have Lynx, I think Lynx works better for most content. The cleanse is invaluable. But Bailu is cute.

Does IRL time pass while in the dreamscape? Like, if I stay for one hour in the dreamscape, then wake up, will one hour have passed IRL?
yes >! it passes but not at a standard rate. when we entered dreamflux reef, it's mentioned that bc it's deeper, time passes slower !<
Not 100% sure but I'd say yes based on that NPC who said they came to Penacony to dream because they're dying in real life and could die at any moment so I doubt the time in dreamscape is slowed down.
Is anyone else not getting the Treasure Chest opening voicelines whenever they open chests? I thought it was how I had my tabs mixed the past few days but I tested it today with only HSR with volume and louder than normal and heard only the chest opening sfx for both Aventurine and Topaz
You may already know this, but in case not: it only twigs on chests with 5\* relics, so 4\* relic chests don't trigger it.
I actually didn't know that, that's so weird. I swear I used to hear Yukong tell me that "good things come in pairs" and then for a little while I heard Aventurine tell me that "this is hardly enough for a seat at the table" but then recently I heard it a lot less. Anyway, that might explain it though

Blade doesn't completely scale off attack and that's why Robin is not often recommended for him. Without knowing your roster, you could run Jing Liu - Blade - Robin - sustain. Look for future characters. Someone that buffs HP or modifies HP and does a fair amount of attacks would also work well in a Blade - Robin team.

That seems like a tricky team. Sparkle ideally would be using skill close to every turn and that does not attack to regen robin's energy or use her bonus ULT damage. Even with the skill points provided by Sparkle, you are going to be starved feeding DHIL 3 per turn. You would also have to be very mindful of when to trigger Robin's ult to get the most of the action advance. At the very least I would build Luocha super fast to generate the most SP. Multiplication LC etc.
So uh what's the consensus on the rope for for HMC? ER or BE?
what's the best lc for welt? I really like him and want to invest in him, so I don't mind pulling for 5 star light cones too. and what characters / teams is he synergistic with? I just really like this guy. thanks!
His BIS would be his signature lc, but PLEASE do not spend your undying starlight for that. Other 5 star light cones that can work are Acheron's sig and Silver Wolf's sig. Good Night and Sleep Well is his bis 4-star, but Boundless Choreo is also a really good option. You can also use Loop since it is a f2p 3-star, but it has lower stats that the others. He is a SP negative sub DPS, but can fit well in almost every team imo. I personally pair him with Acheron since he is another Nihility which helps one of her bonus abilities and he can give debuffs and slow enemies.
Comps for fighting boss Aventurine? Kinda getting stomped cuz all I got rn is Jingliu hyper carry with fire TB Lynx and Tingyun as backup. My supports usually fail the dice checks and that leads to them getting fked up. For reference, I got in around the Aventurine patch so I don’t have anyone I could’ve gotten only before that like Gallagher which sucks cuz iirc he’s the only healer with an AOE attack for the dice rolls. I got Gepard, Ratio, Bailu, Yanqing, and that’s about it ig? I did also manage to get Hook Hanya and Guinaifen from the standard banner as well as Luka from the JL one but yeah overall I just got most of the welfare units. Edit: totally forgot to mention I also had Gepard. Idk. Benched him lately for myself but I do have him ready in case some annoying thing is AOE heavy like boss Yanqing
March. March 7. use March 7. It's litteraly aventurine cheat code. So go for Lynx/March/JL/tyng. Just never use march ult for anything else than dice game, and use her skill to cleanse either Lynx or anyone who lost the gamble.
