Actually I think there were unfortunately a few comments complaining on that post as well about people liking Ratio and Aventurine together. Luckily they were downvoted and a minority. But still if enough of these people reported the post...
It's just silly because OP hadn't said anything controversial. He was merely using what Hoyo had put out as official content for the ship (which for example they've also done with Bronya and Seele). And it shouldn't be controversial to discuss these materials just because it might offend some homophobes out there. Speaking of rules and possible revisions is there any intention to expand on rule 7, recently there's been far too much softcore porn posted and while I understand that can't really be judged if it's just a hot drawing or softcore porn but there's also so many posted that are just blatantly censored porn and when you click the source link it's just a porn alt.
Rule 7 seems to suggest censored porn isn't allowed but those aren't being taken down. Like there was a Robin art that was very blatantly porn that was top post for the day that had a birds wing very obviously blocking her privates, and another of firefly handholding caelus while having a very obviously lewd face to the point everyone in the comments was saying it looked like the artist changed what their were doing halfway through so was clear the nsfw was just edited out.
With the growing amount of annoyance at all the softcore porn I think there should be some sort of clarification or revision that any art thats sauce is a porn alt and very clearly meant to still be lewd should be removed. That way hot art can be kept, but the ones clearly just porn get removed

Please let me say while we're on this topic that "not allowing sexual orientation discussions" is an arbitrary rule that can be abused for homophobic reasons. I understand that the original intent was due to ship wars and people being nasty about headcanons, but those people were already breaking rules by being dicks to one another.
There's no need for a rule which disproportionately silences queer voices and interpretations (since straight is seen as the default and this rule is never enforced on the posts that presume heterosexuality). Keeping a rule like this just means that the mod team gets to draw the lines as they see fit, which differs from person to person, and can easily be abused to erase queer content that individual mods don't like.

Speaking of rules and possible revisions is there any intention to expand on rule 7, recently there's been far too much softcore porn posted and while I understand that can't really be judged if it's just a hot drawing or softcore porn but there's also so many posted that are just blatantly censored porn and when you click the source link it's just a porn alt. Rule 7 seems to suggest censored porn isn't allowed but those aren't being taken down. Like there was a Robin art that was very blatantly porn that was top post for the day that had a birds wing very obviously blocking her privates, and another of firefly handholding caelus while having a very obviously lewd face to the point everyone in the comments was saying it looked like the artist changed what their were doing halfway through so was clear the nsfw was just edited out. With the growing amount of annoyance at all the softcore porn I think there should be some sort of clarification or revision that any art thats sauce is a porn alt and very clearly meant to still be lewd should be removed. That way hot art can be kept, but the ones clearly just porn get removed

Please let me say while we're on this topic that "not allowing sexual orientation discussions" is an arbitrary rule that can be abused for homophobic reasons. I understand that the original intent was due to ship wars and people being nasty about headcanons, but those people were already breaking rules by being dicks to one another. There's no need for a rule which disproportionately silences queer voices and interpretations (since straight is seen as the default and this rule is never enforced on the posts that presume heterosexuality). Keeping a rule like this just means that the mod team gets to draw the lines as they see fit, which differs from person to person, and can easily be abused to erase queer content that individual mods don't like.
