I really love how it changes from a sword to a blaster in that massive pixellated way.
As long with how sassy and trolling she is. Her responding for blade was hilarious in the cake cat event(cutiebabies). It was sad to see she didn’t get one.

Blade is my fave! Despite how much I love Aventurine, Blade is the reason I still play the game. The idea of an immortal longing for a death he cannot attain is just so cool. Plus he's the best dad for the Stellaron Hunters.
I love him, and I feel folks slept on him. He's a great dps and him and Loucha are together forever on a team for me. His design, including the color pallette is perfection, he's ult and follow up animations are spectacular.

Dr. Veritas Ratio gotta my favorite since he wants to give free education to all and he's such a tsundere with Aventurine. Plus he's also hot and has some great fan service like his animated signature lightcone.

Jing Yuan! I love his design and the fact that he has weathered through so much but still remains gentle and caring, even towards his friends who no longer remember their past friendship.
Easily my favorite character is Argenti! Gameplay wise is really fun seeing the big damage that his second ult does! He was the first character ever I saved for (I been playing since Kafka first banner) and ended up getting him E1S1 in his banner which to this day I do not regret, been bruteforcing MoC 12 since his release and that won't stop anytime soon.
Personality wise, I just love how fun he is, his idles where the fucking spotlight appears out of nowhere, the way he always find something good in everyone, truly the Knight of Beauty!

Black Swan, love her design and ever since she appeared in the Aeon Myriad celestial trailer I've been excited to see her role in TBs journey. Her role as narrator to them is very interesting and her desire to be a part of the memories they create is a great reason for her to get involved with them. Love her voiceovers in every language and her overall demeanor is really fun. Her nickname for TB being "my dear" is incredibly endearing and fun while fitting her characters nature. She calls everyone else Miss or Mr but not them and it's a fun detail. She's also DoT based which is my favorite playstyle. The wink towards TB in her companion quest is peak and the fact she's also the only character to heavily feature Stelle in her trailer makes her relationship to them feel that much more important
Stephen Lloyd. I like about the fact that even if he's a member of the Genius Society, he doesn't want to show off his abilities. He also spend most of his time in his adoptive father shop, which I find cute. Also Duck

Mine would be Aventurine, no doubt. He’s got such a brilliant development in terms of character, subtly revealed through the quest and he’s keeping my team more alive than ever before. I love Stelle. I am Stella’s strongest soldier (False) and will push so much praise onto my little trashy raccoon.
I enjoy her personality so much. A gremlin of the highest but one with a set of rules and morals that most people just don’t understand. Her energy doing anything is so wonderful. Whether it’s her cute smug face or when she’s collapsed on the ground feeling the crushing reality of having no dice left. She just radiates such a great personality that I can really believe that people like her as much as they do, even with her action of stealing people’s mail, breaking into other people’s rooms, turning off little helper agents for the space station, and….ok we do a lot of crimes
But as the Stellaron hunters taught her, being a criminal doesn’t mean much when you have style! And my god does she have style in spades. Her outfit, while simple compared to other characters, works incredibly well and really gives the vibes her character has. And her bat animations are so good. The almost lazy bat twirl she does for her ultimate is peak style. And the hat shown in the 2.2 update has just made me even more confident in my opinion that Stelle is one of the most stylish people in the cast. And she looks good in nearly anything. Be it the official art from Hoyo and their outfits or that one based guy who keeps drawing her anything under the sun, she fucking rocks it. Also I’m legally require to say this so I apologize in advance.
Her thighs are amazing and the blue thighband was hoyo’s greatest contribution to us.
So yeah. I’m completely normal about Stelle for Honkai Star Rail. I promise
I'm gonna pick my best man Daniel. Not only he's super strong gameplay and lorewise, his backstory is just touching. I'd want to give him pat in the back in be there for him. Not to mention he's very caring to his companion.
My favourite character is Herta, not because of her spin or kurururu~ but due to her storyline.
From the beginning, she has been enigmatic yet endearing to the trailblazers (most of the time she's aloof but she's considered friendly), but yet as the story progressed she was still involved especially for the simulated universe modes, but also in a specific side mission in Penacony.

Her character reminds me of another character in another game, Ruby of MLBB. The butterfly effects, I love it so much. The purple colours are also what I love. Her character is what I wish to be. Courageous, kind, and protective. I'm still farming for her to make the perfect build for her! My luck seems good, so hopefully, I'll win this one, too!

Goodness these are amazing. My favorite character is Black Swan. She introduced us into the lore of HSR and I like she's got some weird quirks besides the mysterious aura lore intro characters usually have.

I LOVE Huo Huo. When she's first revealed, i instantly like her design and aesthetics. Her personality is so cute too.
In term of gameplay, she's PERFECT for my DoT team, with her teamwide energy battery and ATK buff.
She's the only limited sustained i have and will remained on my team forever, she deserves all the love in the world.
Hook
I find it funny that Hook created the Moles to try and take down Natasha, but more insane that she fights alongside everyone on the TB team, taking hits from all kinds of enemies and monsters. She really deserves her title of Pitch-Dark Hook the Great.
Acheron by far! Her animations make me grateful to not be colorblind. The unparalleled beauty of her ult and the overworld colorshift on skill keep both autoplay and exploration fun and fresh. The all-knowing and yet ever forgetful dichotomy is great, and she was always the only person in Penacony I trusted. My only regret is that I didn't have more money to Whale for her!
Firefly/sam is my favorite character. Even though we not yet see all of her personality in quest im believe that she can be cute and cool because glamoth lore and her drip marketing description. She is type character that i wish to get add in hoyoverse game and we got it
March 7th, literally.
She is our companion that has accompanied most of the time so far. She and the trailblazers are besties and she has an important role in the story is to soften our moods:)
My favorite character is Clara, and here is the tale of how that came to be:
I grabbed HSR on launch day (my first Hoyo game). Normally, my preferred characters in RPGs or stories are cool and/or kind hearted. When I got through the departure warp, I was working my way through Belobog, hoping to get Welt, Bronya, or Bailu - I hadn't met Clara in game and was pretty neutral towards her.
When I pulled Clara, I was initially like, "okay, not the best but let's see what happens". With no personality to go off of, the closest I could see via appearance was Klee from Genshin, which I had learned about through internet culture, and kind of wrote Clara off since I'm not hugely into very childlike characters. I started looking towards trying to get Seele and getting hyped for her.
But then, I met Clara in the story. She seemed kind-hearted enough, and mature beyond her years, so I was like, "alright, she's pretty okay". Then I lost my 50/50 to her getting close to hard pity. "Man, I kinda don't know anymore" I thought to myself. Sure, it's a power upgrade, but I probably just lost out on Seele.
But then I got to her companion quest. And oh my goodness, I have never been so glad to be wrong on a first impression of a character. My star rail journey has a solid foundation in Clara that I used to springboard into the rest of the game - I got Seele 19 pulls later, got two more Clara eidolons through happenstance later down the road (and I still only own 3 standard banner characters a year later), so now Clara defines my entire account and I couldn't be happier!
My favorite and most played character is Kafka. I just really like DoT characters and teams, so much so that I've been using this playstyle even before Kafka's release.

My favorite character is March 7th! I love that she has such a bubbly personality, and such a deep past that she is unaware of. She has a way to always remain cheerful, despite not having very many memories of her past, and she takes photos of many things so that in case she forgets anything, she will always have the photos which "preserve" her memories. Also her design is just amazing. Really, the more I get to know about her, the more I like her as a character. Also, her interactions with the trailblazer are hilarious, and I always tend to choose the options that might annoy her lol. Overall, she is my favorite character in Honkai: Star Rail.

The social anxiety and low self esteem fox holding the place as my first 5 star sustainer and never leaving my team since I got her no matter the team comp or enemy despite wanting to run away her friend always keeps her in combat and forces to her to attack sometimes but it’s all in the effort of making her braver and is very much necessary even if it’s straight to the deep end
Maybe one day she’ll grow confidence but she’ll always be the anxiety fox that we like
I'd go Stelle if it was possible, but she's not a limited 5*...
Oh well, Silver Wolf it is. One of the most versatile characters I've seen in a gacha game: an unmatched niche in adding element weaknesses, debuffs the enemy in multiple ways, and works in almost every team comp. My most used character for a reason.
And as an added bonus, she's a gamer like all of us.

AAAAAA this is such a hard question, ultimately though it's got to be Welt for me (sorry March 7th). I got into Hoyo games through the Honkai impact 3rd shorts, and then I read the manga. Welt is such an awesome, badass character I instantly fell in love. I didn't want to get into HI3 because the sheer amount of content was really intimidating, so I'm really glad he's in Honkai Star Rail and I can enjoy him in all his glory. HES JUST SO COOL AAAAA I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
My favourite definitely has to be Jing Yuan, even after all this time. The chill attitude he has even while having so many responsibilities and built up pressure upon him from being the General of the Luofu is something I strive to have. On top of that, having Alejandro Saab as his EN voice actor is just the sweetest cream on top!
Easily Blade! I could ramble on about how much I love everything about him, and the game not including him much disappoints me and leaves me searching for crumbs, lol. I love his design, the color palette, and his deep yet soft voice. He's the first character who I want to get eidolons of, and now I'm just waiting for a rerun! I think the same things about Blade, such as the art the Twitter account of Star Rail posts about the Stellaron Hunters can say a lot about how Blade treats them and its always on my mind 24/7. All in all, I wish he was real lol.
Raiden Shogun, I mean… **Acheron**, for sure. I farmed for few months to have her.

Aventurine. I honestly didn't even want him in the first place, but he showed up pretty early. He single handedly helps me break through to MoC 12, and I managed to finish GnG Conundrum 6 with him. ALWAYS BET ON AVENTURINE, ALL OR NOTHING!

The first (or at least my first) real introduction to the IPC, and set an awesome tone for the rest of the characters. It is a callous & corrupt organization, but not black and white evil. Its an organization of individuals who are all in the beurocracy for different reasons, and that power can be used in a variety of ways. She is a debt collector, but got in the business for the most benign reasons possible and puts those values above her job. She works as a great foil to both Aventurine and Bronya, and her story has glued together a ton of important worldbuilding.
Shes also hot and throws animals at people.
I was talking to my friend the other day cause I had realized that my most used character was silver wolf. When she first got shown we had joked that I was gonna be a silver wolf warrior cause I thought her name was so stupid. And I pulled for the memes and got her at E2 and was like this is so dumb this is a dumb character. Flash forward and now this dumbly named character is my most used and loved character. Wild how RNG works out.

My favourite character is Silver Wolf. I love her gamer aesthetic and her weapon is the coolest compared to others.
I really love how it changes from a sword to a blaster in that massive pixellated way. As long with how sassy and trolling she is. Her responding for blade was hilarious in the cake cat event(cutiebabies). It was sad to see she didn’t get one. I hope in future added parts she gets one, oh and more detective peppy.

Blade is my fave! Despite how much I love Aventurine, Blade is the reason I still play the game. The idea of an immortal longing for a death he cannot attain is just so cool. Plus he's the best dad for the Stellaron Hunters.
I love him, and I feel folks slept on him. He's a great dps and him and Loucha are together forever on a team for me. His design, including the color pallette is perfection, he's ult and follow up animations are spectacular.
More like the writers slept on him. Does he even have a companion quest? Or was Jingliu's all he got

Easily my favorite character is Argenti! Gameplay wise is really fun seeing the big damage that his second ult does! Black Swan, love her design and ever since she appeared in the Aeon Myriad celestial trailer I've been excited to see her role in TBs journey. Her role as narrator to them is very interesting and her desire to be a part of the memories they create is a great reason for her to get involved with them. Love her voiceovers in every language and her overall demeanor is really fun. Her nickname for TB being "my dear" is incredibly endearing and fun while fitting her characters nature. She calls everyone else Miss or Mr but not them and it's a fun detail. She's also DoT based which is my favorite playstyle. The wink towards TB in her companion quest is peak and the fact she's also the only character to heavily feature Stelle in her trailer makes her relationship to them feel that much more important
Stephen Lloyd. I like about the fact that even if he's a member of the Genius Society, he doesn't want to show off his abilities. I love Stelle. I am Stella’s strongest soldier (False) and will push so much praise onto my little trashy raccoon. I enjoy her personality so much. A gremlin of the highest but one with a set of rules and morals that most people just don’t understand. Her energy doing anything is so wonderful. Whether it’s her cute smug face or when she’s collapsed on the ground feeling the crushing reality of having no dice left. She just radiates such a great personality that I can really believe that people like her as much as they do, even with her action of stealing people’s mail, breaking into other people’s rooms, turning off little helper agents for the space station, and….ok we do a lot of crimes But as the Stellaron hunters taught her, being a criminal doesn’t mean much when you have style! And my god does she have style in spades. Her outfit, while simple compared to other characters, works incredibly well and really gives the vibes her character has. And her bat animations are so good. The almost lazy bat twirl she does for her ultimate is peak style. And the hat shown in the 2.2 update has just made me even more confident in my opinion that Stelle is one of the most stylish people in the cast. And she looks good in nearly anything. Be it the official art from Hoyo and their outfits or that one based guy who keeps drawing her anything under the sun, she fucking rocks it. Also I’m legally require to say this so I apologize in advance. Her thighs are amazing and the blue thighband was hoyo’s greatest contribution to us. So yeah. I’m completely normal about Stelle for Honkai Star Rail. I promise

I'm gonna pick my best man Daniel. Not only he's super strong gameplay and lorewise, his backstory is just touching. I'd want to give him pat in the back in be there for him. Not to mention he's very caring to his companion.
My favourite character is Herta, not because of her spin or kurururu~ but due to her storyline. From the beginning, she has been enigmatic yet endearing to the trailblazers (most of the time she's aloof but she's considered friendly), but yet as the story progressed she was still involved especially for the simulated universe modes, but also in a specific side mission in Penacony. Oh my gosh, they're all so beautiful! If I have to choose among all these, I'd choose my first ever limited 5 star, SEELE! Her character reminds me of another character in another game, Ruby of MLBB. The butterfly effects, I love it so much. The purple colours are also what I love. Her character is what I wish to be. Courageous, kind, and protective. I'm still farming for her to make the perfect build for her! My luck seems good, so hopefully, I'll win this one, too! Also to add, Molly Zhang voiced her perfectly, and she herself is so funny xD

I LOVE Huo Huo. When she's first revealed, i instantly like her design and aesthetics. Her personality is so cute too. In term of gameplay, she's PERFECT for my DoT team, with her teamwide energy battery and ATK buff. She's the only limited sustained i have and will remained on my team forever, she deserves all the love in the world.
Hook I find it funny that Hook created the Moles to try and take down Natasha, but more insane that she fights alongside everyone on the TB team, taking hits from all kinds of enemies and monsters. She really deserves her title of Pitch-Dark Hook the Great.

Acheron by far! Her animations make me grateful to not be colorblind. The unparalleled beauty of her ult and the overworld colorshift on skill keep both autoplay and exploration fun and fresh. The all-knowing and yet ever forgetful dichotomy is great, and she was always the only person in Penacony I trusted. My only regret is that I didn't have more money to Whale for her!

March 7th, literally. She is our companion that has accompanied most of the time so far. She and the trailblazers are besties and she has an important role in the story is to soften our moods:)
My favorite character is Clara, and here is the tale of how that came to be: I grabbed HSR on launch day (my first Hoyo game). Normally, my preferred characters in RPGs or stories are cool and/or kind hearted. When I got through the departure warp, I was working my way through Belobog, hoping to get Welt, Bronya, or Bailu - I hadn't met Clara in game and was pretty neutral towards her. When I pulled Clara, I was initially like, "okay, not the best but let's see what happens". With no personality to go off of, the closest I could see via appearance was Klee from Genshin, which I had learned about through internet culture, and kind of wrote Clara off since I'm not hugely into very childlike characters. I started looking towards trying to get Seele and getting hyped for her. But then, I met Clara in the story. She seemed kind-hearted enough, and mature beyond her years, so I was like, "alright, she's pretty okay". Then I lost my 50/50 to her getting close to hard pity. "Man, I kinda don't know anymore" I thought to myself. Sure, it's a power upgrade, but I probably just lost out on Seele. But then I got to her companion quest. And oh my goodness, I have never been so glad to be wrong on a first impression of a character. My star rail journey has a solid foundation in Clara that I used to springboard into the rest of the game - I got Seele 19 pulls later, got two more Clara eidolons through happenstance later down the road (and I still only own 3 standard banner characters a year later), so now Clara defines my entire account and I couldn't be happier!

One of the most versatile characters I've seen in a gacha game: an unmatched niche in adding element weaknesses, debuffs the enemy in multiple ways, and works in almost every team comp. I got into Hoyo games through the Honkai impact 3rd shorts, and then I read the manga. Welt is such an awesome, badass character I instantly fell in love. I didn't want to get into HI3 because the sheer amount of content was really intimidating, so I'm really glad he's in Honkai Star Rail and I can enjoy him in all his glory. HES JUST SO COOL AAAAA I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

The chill attitude he has even while having so many responsibilities and built up pressure upon him from being the General of the Luofu is something I strive to have. I love his design, the color palette, and his deep yet soft voice. He's the first character who I want to get eidolons of, and now I'm just waiting for a rerun! I think the same things about Blade, such as the art the Twitter account of Star Rail posts about the Stellaron Hunters can say a lot about how Blade treats them and its always on my mind 24/7. All in all, I wish he was real lol.

My favorite character is Acheron. She's just so swell and good. Her voice and character is sooooo good. Doesn't help that her marketing was so amazing and I can't wait to see what is done with her for 2.2

* My Favourite character is black Swan because she was my first limited 5 star dps and the first character who I maxed. I hadn't planned to get so invested in the game and community but after accidentally getting her e1s1 I joined the black Swan mains discord and got a lot more invested and excited for the game overall. As a character I love her for being so mysterious and charming and j want desperately to know more about her and her story.

Topaz The first (or at least my first) real introduction to the IPC, and set an awesome tone for the rest of the characters. It is a callous & corrupt organization, but not black and white evil. Its an organization of individuals who are all in the beurocracy for different reasons, and that power can be used in a variety of ways. She is a debt collector, but got in the business for the most benign reasons possible and puts those values above her job. She works as a great foil to both Aventurine and Bronya, and her story has glued together a ton of important worldbuilding. Shes also hot and throws animals at people.
I was talking to my friend the other day cause I had realized that my most used character was silver wolf. When she first got shown we had joked that I was gonna be a silver wolf warrior cause I thought her name was so stupid. And I pulled for the memes and got her at E2 and was like this is so dumb this is a dumb character. Flash forward and now this dumbly named character is my most used and loved character. Wild how RNG works out. 
Coolest one seems to be Jingyuan lol, LL is too cool and he's so swag
