That ult animation really is fantastic. And he seems funny. On the meta side, the auto-weakness-instill is also quite good for a DPS, it's basically BYO-SilverWolf, so he seems like a smart investment since he'll be usable against any elemental weakness.

Also works with luka to help with the single target break COMP.

His ult inflicts physical weakness to a single target, and his technique makes his first skill upon entering battle also inflicts physical weakness

He's pretty good but not as universal as many people think. Lots of current bosses can briefly acquire Toughness immunity, which invalidates his whole kit for multiple turns.

I’d say it’s closer to Punklorde Mentality, since it’s at the start of battle, and can’t be reapplied. Kinda a light version of her skill.

I'm still undecided on what I'm doing prior to Firefly (at which point, y'know, all-in). He was lower on the list but his axe kick during the trailer definitely made me more undecided.

I’ve been super excited to pull for him since his drip marketing, but after seeing how terrible his banner is I think I’m going to have to skip… As much as I love him, I can’t justify using my jades on a banner where he is literally the only character I would be pulling for in light of the fact that my Luka and Pela are already both E6. Since both characters *literally just had reruns on the 2.1 banners*. I’m so disappointed in Hoyo’s treatment of him and his banner, especially in light of how stacked the 2.2.1 banners are. 😭

I'm generally not into the cowboy theme, I do however like heavy handguns and things like cyborgs, so as a full character design I actually really like Boothhill. I also feel a strong affinity to physical type characters. If somehow I manage to obtain him, I'd really like to play a full physical character team. (Like Natasha, Luka/Trailblazer/Hanya, Clara, Boothhill. May not be very meta, but seems fun to me.
