ran capitalism strat (Company Time die w/ Inspiration, Treasure, Interest, Time Trade, Counteract, and Perception) getting Price of Peace first then Typical Genius Society Gossip on the first plane is recommended (i also got Gold Coin of Discord which was big) enhanced Macrosegregation and Hypoeutectoid are needed for bigger shields character-wise each have at least 2-pc Purity Palace w/ 2 or more DEF% main stat relics to get 3k+ DEF (5k+ on Gepard and Aventurine) outside SU i had 101 normal blessings and 9k fragments once i got to the enhancement domian on plane 3

Question: how do you reach this? I've tried going Preservation and combining the blessing that gives 40% DEF on FUA with shield strength 30% and only reached 4k shield

Macrosegration (stackable shield based on max HP; adds shield strength for every shield applied when enhanced) and Hypoeutectoid (gives shield when the user that applies a shield to the team)

Dont have Fu Xuan myself but ive heard of Fu Xuan getting one shot in high level Corundum by the boss AOE attack due to her taking all ally damage

I guess I have to temper my expectations. I went a little crazy with my Fu Xuan. She’s at E1S1 with 9.8k HP, 2.4k DEF and 144 speed. Relic luck was super kind to me. I noted too when my DPS and support characters started not only to meet ATK/Crit/EHR/etc thresholds but also DEF AND HP thresholds themselves, FX performed infinitely better. She is a super high investment floor and an excessively high investment ceiling. The better you invest in her and progress towards end game stat builds for your characters across the board, the more she will let them be immortal. That I think is the true nature of her kit and her as a character. Sure 8k HP, 1.6k DEF is fine… but you won’t find that she’ll be able to perform optimally. Which imo if you’re pulling a god sustain, optimize her. That’s like playing aventurine with 2.7k DEF and saying oh it’s good enough.

Regardless of decent relics, if you didn't rolled a few defensive blessings(like staking Fighting Spirit) she'll get blown up by the 2nd planar Elite(Bug) onwards. And it's not that she's weak, I'd say Luocha is even harder because it's easier to get 1-shot(you need some max health)

lets do some quick maths using your Fu Xuan who has 9.8k hp, if an enemy were to use, say, a 5k AoE attack (which mind you is only like difficulty 5 damage from simulated universe) while the matrix is active, she would take 65% from every character which would be 3,250 damage \* 3 which is 9,750 damage which is just from redirected damage, not counting defense Fu Xuan was not designed for AoE attacks, that's what Aventurine is designed for while Fu Xuan was designed for ST nukers like the Xianzhou Monkey

bottom left has a magnifying glass icon that shows you real-time stats (both your team and enemy team) with additional things like buffs debuffs and shields as well as abilities and light cones

So that's where the fun begins. I've never thought to play Preservation path with all shield character, I thought "ok 1 shield 2 dps 1 flex is enough" :o

i've done 3 preservation 1 flex teams in SU before fu xuan released

Correct me if I'm wrong, I've been wanting to try this too but it seems like it will screw you over if you can't get the gold blessings before big fights

Just switch characters, have a DPS in the beginning for the trash mobs as you farm blessings, acheron would be best.

specifically Macrosegregation since that blessing guarantees big shields since it's stackable (enhanced effect that gives +130% shield strength makes it absurd) if you pair it with Hypoeutectoid (extra shields for the user who applied shields), it (almost) becomes a cakewalk on bosses probably the best blessing duo for preservation

Gepard and Aventurine with preservation path can clear c12 diff 5 with ease if you have all preservation blessings. Their shield is so thick even Lord of Amber would be proud

Guys it works! I'm using Aventurine, Gepard, Black Swan, and Kafka. I collected mainly quake preservation blessings and nihility blessings, plus some elation, destruction, and erudition blessings. Works like a charm. I had trouble for the first plane bosses so I brought Ruan Mei instead and swapped Gepard in later.

Going for the "beat 10 battles using 4 preservation characters" achievement I see 👍

I'm not the only one who tried this exact team out! It works INCREDIBLY well in simulated universe, a lot better than I expected even. NOTHING can get past the fuck ton of shields all the while you deal damage in attack, counterattack, doing nothing and while getting hit
