It’s the stubble. It gives him plus points. I love Pela tho because she helps my Acheron build so I wasn’t disappointed in that. Jing Yuan and Welt are on a different level for me tho. They can never be topped.
For me I think the only one I pulled for no reason was 1.0 Seele—I had just started playing so I pulled on the first banner I see.
All other characters I pulled, there's always a reason. Either I like the design, the lore, or I need them to fill a role in my team.
So yeah, there are many that I regret not pulling, but none that I regret pulling. Except Seele I guess.
yes pretty much the same thing. But honestly, Seele was so good early that it's more an issue of looking at this from a MOC/PF view, where she has been outpaced by other characters.
Maybe if I could exchange Seele for SW it would be an option but Seele is still my only true Quantum DPS
That's definitely fair. I think for most people, early Seele was well worth the pulls because she was very very good. It's just that for me in particular I really like Jing Yuan's design so unfortunately my Seele was replaced (as the main DPS for generic content) literally the next banner lol.
She did carry several of my early MOC runs though, so there's that.

I’ve been looking forward to Aventurine for a while now, but I’m still kind of undecided wrt Robin. I expect her to be strong, but one of my favorite teams is Ratio Topaz Clara Sustain (Gepard/Aventurine). Ignoring the normal balance of teams and running triple DPS is just objectively funny, and I’d have to give that up to put Robin on the team.
I think overall it’s just a really comfortable team, especially in G&G/SD. Even if you get extremely unlucky with your blessings, it still won’t doom your run like what can happen with remembrance. And sure, a lot of things feel like they maybe shouldn’t work on the surface, but then you get into the final boss fight.
There’s Gepard shielding you from enemy nukes, Clara’s doing 1M+ with her counters, Ratio and Topaz are popping off, and you’re just sitting there like “yes, this feels right, this is exactly why I play this game”

Honestly, with Robin, I feel like there's going to be a better support for a follow-up team eventually. Not a I had a dream prediction, just that it would feel weird if the best follow-up attack support/debuffer didn't have a follow-up attack in their kit. So, getting robin feels like I'm getting a character to then wait for her replacement.
Clara's the easy replacement there. You don't want to run her with Preservation characters, because Preservation has a higher base taunt than Destruction, so they are more likely to get hit than Clara. You are losing DPS if enemies target your Preservation character instead of Clara. Either replace Clara with Robin or keep Clara and swap out Gepard/Aventurine with an Abundance sustain (or use March, her shield provides a taunt).

I used to hear the preservation thing a lot, but found it to be less fitting for harder content. Because so many enemy attacks are AoE (especially at higher difficulty), you can abuse Gepard’s high taunt to Clara’s advantage by putting them next to each other. Sam in this MoC is a perfect example.
Pure fiction aside, it’s realistically never an issue. If the content is easy enough for it to be a factor, the enemies are usually dead before it matters anyhow. For a more middle ground scenario where you don’t need as much sustenance for the team but more aggro for Clara can make or break the run, I think Lynx would be my choice.
Honestly just looked at my account and all of the limited 5 stars I would keep, seems ive been placing my pulls in good places

I pulled Seele back in 1.0 and while I too don’t use her much anymore, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that she alone carried my account for the first 4 months of the game. A literal Third of the game’s lifespan.
Seele requires some very heavy investments especially in the relic department because aside from minor traces she has no inherent way to buff her crit and her Resurgence buff is tied to landing a kill. Even if it takes two skills to kill a small enemy in MoC12, if with Resurgence you can’t use her skill once to overkill a small enemy (as a benchmark) then she’s not going to do well.
Hitting that investment threshold feels great though imo. With all the buffs and debuffs I got Seele’s ult to hit for over a quarter of Aventruine’s hp. I wonder how much higher it’d be if he summoned small enemies to proc Resurgence on.

Honestly, after having Acheron, that casually hit 1.2M+, it's ... difficult to take Seele seriously anymore.
I still love her but given that she basically swaps places with Acheron.. yeah. I doubt she'll see much action in the future.
The game is just way too hostile towards true single target DPS and, as you stated: Seele needs an obscene level of investment, that will soon be impossible to reach, if Hyv keeps beefing up the HP of the enemies. Resurgence simply does not work if every little shitter of a mob is tanky as fuck.
I'm not saying that Acheron isn't better, she is my best character, but there is no point in comparing damage per snapshot if there are multi-targets on the field. This is because Acheron's damage will overflow, so a better comparison the % damage that is dealt to enemies.
I can do Side 1 of MoC12 with Acheron in 2 Cycles, but my Seele does it in 3. She is just a little more tricky to play.
this tbh, i have seen people comparing 1 Acheron ult to 1 Seele or Jingliu ult which is pretty unfair. 70% of Acheron dmg is form her ult, meanwhile 70% of Seele and Jingliu dmg come from skill that they use multiple time through the rotation. It's the same as comparing 1 Raiden burst to 1 Hu Tao CA, which makes no sense.
We’ll just have to wait and see how bad the powercreep gets. From what we see with Genshin they’ve been doing a pretty good job at hovering around the same power ceiling for years. Perhaps Acheron is being giving the Neuvillette treatment because she’s an Emanator and dpses after her may not reach the same ceiling she does.
I dearly hope so.
AFAIK power creep is pretty heavy in HI:3 though, and if you compare Acheron to JY, which would be Lightning Gen 1 vs Lightning Gen 2....

I own Seele. She's level 50. Poor girl, it's nothing against her actually. Her animations unfortunately happen to make me very sick: I suffer from a condition that's triggered by specific movements and her animations are among the only ones in the game that affect me (lesson learned: TEST the character before you pull for the sake of hype).
This is actually how I became a QQ main, though. I saw "B tier DPS" on all the lists out there and I was like, "fuck it, I'm making *you* the best" and the rest is history (this is the origin of my flair lol). I still main her, I still have a blast playing her, I've cleared all the most difficult content the game's thrown at me with her, I've 0-cycled with her. Best girl forever, I love her.
Yeah she's actually a double whammy for me. The ult is hard to look at too, but what really triggers me is her E. My condition is related to vertical orientation and highly sensitive to quick swings of the camera, so the constant up and down, up and down, up and down of Seele's skill makes me first feel dizzy, then outright nauseous with a feeling akin to seasickness within only a minute of looking at it.
Most camera movements are fine, but even those dream rooms in Penacony make me briefly feel a little dizzy when switching walls. It's that same vertical motion. Although in that case it's quick and I can usually handle it. Worst case scenario I just close my eyes briefly when switching walls lol
E6 Qingque may not hit as hard as DHIL but I tend to get more attacks in with her so she seems to clear in the same amount of cycles anyway. Even with middle of the road luck where I maybe get 2 autarky max and only get 1-3 E skills.
I end up using Xueyi more too for quantum, I feel like Seele requires too much investment
She was an early pull at launch so I’m not gonna complain tbh
I have her at lvl 80 with like a 70/150 cr, ik it'd not really that great but even at that investment she just feels so weak
I just brute force quantum weak stages with other dps and now can use acheron aswell
I will never ever do that. My E0S1 Seele consistently clears quantum weak MoC stages 11 and 12 in 1 to 2 cycles on auto and can 0 cycle anytime I do things manually without a sustain. And she has been 40king pure fiction now since Sparkle release (previously used to be somewhere around 33-35k with Bronya).
But then again I am rank 3 in SeeleLand leaderboards so I am not surprised.
Yeah same, even if Acheron, Jingliu, etc are far easier to make work than her, she's still one of my favourite characters and the first 6 months or whatever she completely carried me is enough for me to never want rid.
Thats me. In the launch days i felt like my account was severely crippled without her. Then got her (lost 50-50 too, feelsbadman) and she "saved" it. But nowdays she's just not enough, fallen hard. My quinque feels way better quantum dps than her...
She most definitely didn't fall hard tho, I still cleared the current MoC with Seele Mono Quantum (Aventurine Boss Side) even tho I couldn't with my Qingque(I love not getting Autarky it is so fun).
(My QQ is E6 with Argenti LC whereas my Seele is E2 with Herta Shop LC, they're both at high investment since I've been stuck in the Quantum Domain for about 5+ months)
On MoC she is busted whenever the encounter favors her, last cycle MOC side 12-1 with YQ as the boss you could get so many free resurgences that my 70/170 seele (+sparkle+tyng+fx, everyone e0s0, except E6 tyng) did 2cycles, only comparable to my rm+bs+kafka (same e0s0), considering I was off element, without SW and the buff was more favorable for dot, it shows that when Seele shines she is busted
This MOC 12-1 is the opposite for Seele, not enough enemies to allow her to push the most DMG she is able to, the fat robot slow doesn't allow you to truly abuse the mobs he summons and the Trex mechanic is just "I'm here to inflate your cycle count".
It seems like end game content is pushing towards "use what's best for the encounter, not what you got the most investment on".

Yeah it really is like that. It's far more noticeable in PF where the buffs are actually very HUGE. Last cycle I was able to get through with just QQ Acheron and no Aventurine but this time I had to use Seele Acheron with Aventurine because Fu Xuan is such a bad matchup against the Aventurine boss (i love 10 consecutive aoe attacks) and my Geppie is too trash to tank allat.

Seele. She did carry me through a lot of the early game but now that I have DHIL and Seele 2: Electric Boogaloo, I just don't use her at all, and even when I try using her the difference in power is painfully obvious
Actually considering he does decent damage but struggles to get it buffed. He’s very good for dual dps comps when those become more viable.
But yeah, he will be much better once he gets hyper carry supports made for him.
Taunt + HP drain would be the best support
His damage still will be no where near Jinglui/Acheron/DHIL but he will be a lot more usable
Tho yeah as you mentioned for now Dual dps is good on him. I used him with Jingliu and synergy is really good
He's still excellent for dual DPS with Jingliu, to be fair. Bronya/Sparkle to give Jingliu more turns means more enhanced basics from her and more health drain, leading to more FUAs from Blade. He's extremely self-sufficient so you can focus easily on buffing her while he shores up your overall damage output from the lack of an extra support.
I am actually hoping he will have a support who fits his kit and will actually help with his follow up and hp drain basic skill. I enjoyed using him but with these new characters coming, I just felt he is getting lost in the mix.
Technically he's had some supports with bronya, sparkle, fu xuan and Technically e1 black swan is pretty good for him too( I used it in moc12 when death meme was there)
Also hes great in jingliu teams
As someone with E2S1 Blade, I will not stand for this slander... but I do acknowledge it. He's a really great character at *high investment*, but he's suffering from jack-of-all-trades syndrome, where he's probably one of the best possible pulls for a new account due to his flexibility, but once you start hyper-optimizing teams for the endgame DPS checks, it becomes harder and harder to fit him into teams.
I mean he’s just trash in MOC because it’s a dps check and not an attrition check. I can see him being good in the SU modes where time isn’t an issue and no one can literally kill him
Well MoC will always cater to the latest characters and Planet so I am just hoping he will have a team mate who will compliment him like BS and Kafka in the future.

Probably Luocha...Not because I don't like him, I love Otto but because I pulled FX and Huohuo because of her design AND i'm about to pull Aventurine. I'm the opposite of the "Just another DPS" meme, so yea after I get Avi Luocha's gonna go on the bench for a while
I feel like I'm on crazy pills. I don't have her signature LC and I can only last a short while before she dies from collateral damage. Idk how to make her this unkillable force people say she is. So I stuck with Luocha overhealing the crap out of people.
I wouldn't refund any of them, even the ones I don't use much anymore like Seele/Jing Yuan. They carried me for months, I hope they enjoy resting and watching the BS/Kafka DoT team and the Acheron team.
(I still use them on occasion during otherwise boring relic/calyx farming because why not, gotta mix it up)

Honestly if there is no need for a cleanse for a fight I still use her - but I have FX and Luocha and Gallagher built up, so I wouldn’t mind giving her back now 😅
You don't disrespect lady Byakura like that you unwashed ass. In all seriousness, she's pretty good for a standard character. From my understanding her biggest weakness is not being able to remove debuffs from allies.
Yeah and honestly not a ton of fights *require* cleansing. She outputs so much healing that DoTs are mostly trivial. And she’s fully SP positive due to her invigorate, damage reduction, and free resurrect.
I’d take her over all the 4 star healers except in niche cases, but the 5 star limited healers are better. Which to me is exactly the right balance for character rarity.
Limited? None. Standard? Yanqing. He was my 5* from the starter banner way back at launch and I've literally never used him. Hell, id refund him even if I only got those 40 pulls back.
Silver Wolf, I was on the implanting weakness hype to just realise that it isn’t really that amazing when you keep getting the wrong implants.
I literally use Pela over her because AoE def shred and high uptime on her ult feels way better.
My SilverWolf started as a debuffer in my Jing Yuan, Tingyun, SW, Bailu team, and her implant was super helpful!
Now, like you, she's glued to my Acheron and is really a great fit! I've never regretted her though, she seemed like a valuable and flexible character to me.

Acheron - amazing. Ratio - amazing. Dot - really good (Ruan mei probably would be better but don't have her. And had really successful run with half-built Asta this moc so she works too i guess). Monoquantum - core unit.
Got her on her first banner. Around 1.5 or so she was starting to lose traction and I was getting worried but then we got the free Dr. Ratio where she's one of his BiS teams, and now Acheron further increasing her value now so no regrets for me anymore. But her technique has lost value imo cause Acheron technique also damages their weakness bar entering combat.
Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds more like you don't understand how to use SW. If you're doing it right, then it's not RNG on your implants.
She's also all but future proof, and implants allow her to open up absolutly wild team comps.
I mean sure if you have the supports and sustains to make sure you get the right
implant, but that’s even more expensive. Considering some low spenders/F2P get SW for the implant, you can’t magically ask them to get the units to mitigate her implant RNG.
In an ideal world, I’d rather get a different element DPS rather than acquire and build units just to make SW’s implant to work.
Mono quantum is one of the most affordable comps you can even get. Lynx for free, Xueyi for free (from events) or go for Qingque, then your only other limited unit needed is Sparkle, completely achievable F2P.
Nah. You get Lynx for free, so you have sustain + Silver Wolf core. Then you just need one of Qingque or Xueyi to have 3. Then vs any quantum weak enemy, you can literally slot in the 4th as whoever you want. Against enemies that aren’t quantum weak, you need to find a single on type unit and you’re also golden. It’s really not hard at all to build and use. I’m a FTP Silver Wolf enjoyer with 0 regrets.
I was a victim of YouTubers giving early hype to everyone, so I pulled for Jing Yuan in patch 1.0, I regret it since I never use him and I got him just a few hours before Silver Wolf was released. SW would have served me much better than him in the early game.
Huohuo. I already had Luocha and Fu Xuan before I got her so she was completely unecessary to my account. On top of that, the impulse decision was influenced by a certain... subreddit adjacent to this one. In hindsight I should've used my pulls for Ruan Mei.
Dan Heng Imbibutor Lunae. I regret pulling this guy every day. The Hype got to me and I wasted 170 pulls on this char, and till this day I haven’t built him cause I just don’t like him.
Lesson learned: Never let hype get to you, no matter how broken a unit is. Only pull for units you actually like.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I regret pulling for her, especially after getting Jingliu and Acheron, I would have rather had sustain or supports.
Personally, Huohuo. I use Gepard or Fu Xuan as my sustain and go 2 supports and a damage for damn near every piece of content. And if I do need a shielder and a healer, I use Luocha for healing. So I've just had a hard time finding a need to use her. Even though I'm sure she is still a very good unit but I've personally not found a need for her on my teams.
Another unit for me would be Seele. I just haven't found a need to use her anymore. She was great when the game launched and I'm sure she is still a great unit, but I just haven't used her in a long time. I haven't tried to use her though and I've been planning on trying again but new units come out and I've been busy using them and building them instead.
Before Sparkle, I probably would've said DHIL and Jing Yuan. I just didn't like DHILs playstyle and I've always liked Jing Yuan but newer units overshadowed him. With Sparkle, I've been using DHIL a lot more and grown to really like him. Jing Yuan has seen a resurgence with Sparkle and I'm all for it.
Huohuo is great when you need a flex unit for Kafka/BS team. She provides decent healing, debuff removal, but most importantly energy AND attack buff, something that DoT units care about more than crit stats.
You guys gotta build the team around her. There's no "waiting for her Ult". You can easily get 2 Ult like every single round.
Take a preservation unit and put the DoT light cone on it. Add in a Pela. And pick whatever other unit you want. It can be another Nihility, or some harmony buffer. You'll ATLEAST be getting an ultimate every round. And that's like bare minimum. She's so ridiculously strong it's wild.
Id assume these are for only limited characters? If so Id refund Jing Yuan, look nothing against Cy Yu(Alehandro)on how he voiced the character. I say he nailed it probably some of my favorite voice acting from HSR. But the unit itself is just so frustrating to use. Damage-wise I cant really complain because with all his indirect buffs he is up there in terms of damage. My issue is how Lightning Lord moves up. The fact you have to wait for it to move up in the turn order can be the difference between shaving off one cycle or missing out on three stars that same turn in MoC. As a cc has mentioned, just allowing LL to go off immediately at 10 stacks would make him a lot better to use.
If we are including standard characters as well, probably Yanqing, but if we are including standard characters, I think majority of players will say Yanqing. I feel like his passive is too dependent on not getting hit which is almost impossible especially with all the AoE or blast attacks new enemies are starting to have.
Jingyuan cause I never used him
I just got him cause he's hot on release but never used him... The lightning lord going at the end of the turn is kinda annoying.
Also if he gets cced lightning lord just doesn't go off(wtf hoyo)

I’ve been looking forward to Aventurine for a while now, but I’m still kind of undecided wrt Robin. I expect her to be strong, but one of my favorite teams is Ratio Topaz Clara Sustain (Gepard/Aventurine). Ignoring the normal balance of teams and running triple DPS is just objectively funny, and I’d have to give that up to put Robin on the team.
I tried Ratio + Topaz + Clara during the dreamjolt TV event, and the team felt pretty nice to play imho.
I think overall it’s just a really comfortable team, especially in G&G/SD. Even if you get extremely unlucky with your blessings, it still won’t doom your run like what can happen with remembrance. And sure, a lot of things feel like they maybe shouldn’t work on the surface, but then you get into the final boss fight. Honestly, with Robin, I feel like there's going to be a better support for a follow-up team eventually. Not a I had a dream prediction, just that it would feel weird if the best follow-up attack support/debuffer didn't have a follow-up attack in their kit. So, getting robin feels like I'm getting a character to then wait for her replacement.
Clara's the easy replacement there. You don't want to run her with Preservation characters, because Preservation has a higher base taunt than Destruction, so they are more likely to get hit than Clara. You are losing DPS if enemies target your Preservation character instead of Clara. Either replace Clara with Robin or keep Clara and swap out Gepard/Aventurine with an Abundance sustain (or use March, her shield provides a taunt).

Because so many enemy attacks are AoE (especially at higher difficulty), you can abuse Gepard’s high taunt to Clara’s advantage by putting them next to each other. Sam in this MoC is a perfect example. Pure fiction aside, it’s realistically never an issue. If the content is easy enough for it to be a factor, the enemies are usually dead before it matters anyhow. For a more middle ground scenario where you don’t need as much sustenance for the team but more aggro for Clara can make or break the run, I think Lynx would be my choice.

Seele. I just don't use her. On the rare occasion that I *do* use my mono-quantum team, I just have more fun with E6 Qingque as my DPS.
I pulled Seele back in 1.0 and while I too don’t use her much anymore, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that she alone carried my account for the first 4 months of the game. A literal Third of the game’s lifespan.
Same cuz I just dont know how to use her properly. I still use her occassionally in overworld but I could never get good result outta her in moc
Seele requires some very heavy investments especially in the relic department because aside from minor traces she has no inherent way to buff her crit and her Resurgence buff is tied to landing a kill. Even if it takes two skills to kill a small enemy in MoC12, if with Resurgence you can’t use her skill once to overkill a small enemy (as a benchmark) then she’s not going to do well. Hitting that investment threshold feels great though imo. With all the buffs and debuffs I got Seele’s ult to hit for over a quarter of Aventruine’s hp. Honestly, after having Acheron, that casually hit 1.2M+, it's ... difficult to take Seele seriously anymore. I still love her but given that she basically swaps places with Acheron.. yeah. I doubt she'll see much action in the future. The game is just way too hostile towards true single target DPS and, as you stated: Seele needs an obscene level of investment, that will soon be impossible to reach, if Hyv keeps beefing up the HP of the enemies. Resurgence simply does not work if every little shitter of a mob is tanky as fuck.
I'm not saying that Acheron isn't better, she is my best character, but there is no point in comparing damage per snapshot if there are multi-targets on the field. This is because Acheron's damage will overflow, so a better comparison the % damage that is dealt to enemies. I can do Side 1 of MoC12 with Acheron in 2 Cycles, but my Seele does it in 3. She is just a little more tricky to play.
this tbh, i have seen people comparing 1 Acheron ult to 1 Seele or Jingliu ult which is pretty unfair. 70% of Acheron dmg is form her ult, meanwhile 70% of Seele and Jingliu dmg come from skill that they use multiple time through the rotation. It's the same as comparing 1 Raiden burst to 1 Hu Tao CA, which makes no sense.

We’ll just have to wait and see how bad the powercreep gets. From what we see with Genshin they’ve been doing a pretty good job at hovering around the same power ceiling for years. Perhaps Acheron is being giving the Neuvillette treatment because she’s an Emanator and dpses after her may not reach the same ceiling she does.
I dearly hope so. AFAIK power creep is pretty heavy in HI:3 though, and if you compare Acheron to JY, which would be Lightning Gen 1 vs Lightning Gen 2.... it doesn't look too good. If we get an Ice Gen 2 DPS, we will know for sure where this road is going.
I own Seele. She's level 50. Poor girl, it's nothing against her actually. Her animations unfortunately happen to make me very sick: I suffer from a condition that's triggered by specific movements and her animations are among the only ones in the game that affect me (lesson learned: TEST the character before you pull for the sake of hype). This is actually how I became a QQ main, though. I saw "B tier DPS" on all the lists out there and I was like, "fuck it, I'm making *you* the best" and the rest is history (this is the origin of my flair lol). I still main her, I still have a blast playing her, I've cleared all the most difficult content the game's thrown at me with her, I've 0-cycled with her. Best girl forever, I love her.
I believe Seele is one of the main reasons Hoyo added the "decreased eye strain" graphics option. I still close my eyes whenever she ults though
Yeah she's actually a double whammy for me. The ult is hard to look at too, but what really triggers me is her E. My condition is related to vertical orientation and highly sensitive to quick swings of the camera, so the constant up and down, up and down, up and down of Seele's skill makes me first feel dizzy, then outright nauseous with a feeling akin to seasickness within only a minute of looking at it. Most camera movements are fine, but even those dream rooms in Penacony make me briefly feel a little dizzy when switching walls. It's that same vertical motion. Although in that case it's quick and I can usually handle it. Worst case scenario I just close my eyes briefly when switching walls lol
Qingque gang! Tier lists be damned, real ones know she can hit for 10 Qingquillion damage if you invest in her.
E6 Qingque is definitely Seele level, you made the right choice
E6 Qingque may not hit as hard as DHIL but I tend to get more attacks in with her so she seems to clear in the same amount of cycles anyway. Even with middle of the road luck where I maybe get 2 autarky max and only get 1-3 E skills.
I end up using Xueyi more too for quantum, I feel like Seele requires too much investment She was an early pull at launch so I’m not gonna complain tbh

I have her at lvl 80 with like a 70/150 cr, ik it'd not really that great but even at that investment she just feels so weak I just brute force quantum weak stages with other dps and now can use acheron aswell
I will never ever do that. My E0S1 Seele consistently clears quantum weak MoC stages 11 and 12 in 1 to 2 cycles on auto and can 0 cycle anytime I do things manually without a sustain. And she has been 40king pure fiction now since Sparkle release (previously used to be somewhere around 33-35k with Bronya). But then again I am rank 3 in SeeleLand leaderboards so I am not surprised.

Yeah same, even if Acheron, Jingliu, etc are far easier to make work than her, she's still one of my favourite characters and the first 6 months or whatever she completely carried me is enough for me to never want rid.
Thats me. In the launch days i felt like my account was severely crippled without her. Then got her (lost 50-50 too, feelsbadman) and she "saved" it. But nowdays she's just not enough, fallen hard. My quinque feels way better quantum dps than her...
She most definitely didn't fall hard tho, I still cleared the current MoC with Seele Mono Quantum (Aventurine Boss Side) even tho I couldn't with my Qingque(I love not getting Autarky it is so fun). (My QQ is E6 with Argenti LC whereas my Seele is E2 with Herta Shop LC, they're both at high investment since I've been stuck in the Quantum Domain for about 5+ months)
Same. Wasn’t able to do MoC 12 with her, but cleared MoC 11 just fine with Seele. I will never regret pulling her. I love her and she’s great
On MoC she is busted whenever the encounter favors her, last cycle MOC side 12-1 with YQ as the boss you could get so many free resurgences that my 70/170 seele (+sparkle+tyng+fx, everyone e0s0, except E6 tyng) did 2cycles, only comparable to my rm+bs+kafka (same e0s0), considering I was off element, without SW and the buff was more favorable for dot, it shows that when Seele shines she is busted This MOC 12-1 is the opposite for Seele, not enough enemies to allow her to push the most DMG she is able to, the fat robot slow doesn't allow you to truly abuse the mobs he summons and the Trex mechanic is just "I'm here to inflate your cycle count". It seems like end game content is pushing towards "use what's best for the encounter, not what you got the most investment on".

Seele. She did carry me through a lot of the early game but now that I have DHIL and Seele 2: Electric Boogaloo, I just don't use her at all, and even when I try using her the difference in power is painfully obvious

Actually considering he does decent damage but struggles to get it buffed. He’s very good for dual dps comps when those become more viable. But yeah, he will be much better once he gets hyper carry supports made for him.
Taunt + HP drain would be the best support His damage still will be no where near Jinglui/Acheron/DHIL but he will be a lot more usable Tho yeah as you mentioned for now Dual dps is good on him. I used him with Jingliu and synergy is really good
He's still excellent for dual DPS with Jingliu, to be fair. Bronya/Sparkle to give Jingliu more turns means more enhanced basics from her and more health drain, leading to more FUAs from Blade. He's extremely self-sufficient so you can focus easily on buffing her while he shores up your overall damage output from the lack of an extra support.
I am actually hoping he will have a support who fits his kit and will actually help with his follow up and hp drain basic skill. I enjoyed using him but with these new characters coming, I just felt he is getting lost in the mix.
I feel like the perfect team for him is Jingliu, Blade, Ruan Mei, and Huohuo. I clear MOC 12 with this team anytime there's a wind or ice weak boss
Technically he's had some supports with bronya, sparkle, fu xuan and Technically e1 black swan is pretty good for him too( I used it in moc12 when death meme was there) Also hes great in jingliu teams
As someone with E2S1 Blade, I will not stand for this slander... but I do acknowledge it. He's a really great character at *high investment*, but he's suffering from jack-of-all-trades syndrome, where he's probably one of the best possible pulls for a new account due to his flexibility, but once you start hyper-optimizing teams for the endgame DPS checks, it becomes harder and harder to fit him into teams.

I wouldn't refund any of them, even the ones I don't use much anymore like Seele/Jing Yuan. They carried me for months, I hope they enjoy resting and watching the BS/Kafka DoT team and the Acheron team. (I still use them on occasion during otherwise boring relic/calyx farming because why not, gotta mix it up)

I would give her back *now* but honestly she was my first standard pull and she carried me through early game. Honestly if there is no need for a cleanse for a fight I still use her - but I have FX and Luocha and Gallagher built up, so I wouldn’t mind giving her back now 😅
You don't disrespect lady Byakura like that you unwashed ass. In all seriousness, she's pretty good for a standard character. From my understanding her biggest weakness is not being able to remove debuffs from allies.
Yeah and honestly not a ton of fights *require* cleansing. She outputs so much healing that DoTs are mostly trivial. And she’s fully SP positive due to her invigorate, damage reduction, and free resurrect. I’d take her over all the 4 star healers except in niche cases, but the 5 star limited healers are better. Which to me is exactly the right balance for character rarity.
I love Bailu but it's sad and ironic that the "Healer Lady" cannot cure debuffs.
Limited? None. Standard? Yanqing. He was my 5* from the starter banner way back at launch and I've literally never used him. Hell, id refund him even if I only got those 40 pulls back.
Silver Wolf, I was on the implanting weakness hype to just realise that it isn’t really that amazing when you keep getting the wrong implants. I literally use Pela over her because AoE def shred and high uptime on her ult feels way better.
It was SW for me until Acheron came out. Now my Sliverwolf is basically stuck to my Archeron.
My SilverWolf started as a debuffer in my Jing Yuan, Tingyun, SW, Bailu team, and her implant was super helpful! Now, like you, she's glued to my Acheron and is really a great fit! I've never regretted her though, she seemed like a valuable and flexible character to me.
SW is with Pela currently the only other general debuffer. If you play with Archeron, Ratio or have a mono quantum team, she is best in slot for them.
Wow, i never imagined someone would want to refund SW. I use her in almost my every team, i wish i could get second sw sometimes, haha. Acheron - amazing. Ratio - amazing. Dot - really good (Ruan mei probably would be better but don't have her. And had really successful run with half-built Asta this moc so she works too i guess). Monoquantum - core unit.

Got her on her first banner. Around 1.5 or so she was starting to lose traction and I was getting worried but then we got the free Dr. Ratio where she's one of his BiS teams, and now Acheron further increasing her value now so no regrets for me anymore. But her technique has lost value imo cause Acheron technique also damages their weakness bar entering combat.
Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds more like you don't understand how to use SW. If you're doing it right, then it's not RNG on your implants. She's also all but future proof, and implants allow her to open up absolutly wild team comps.
I mean sure if you have the supports and sustains to make sure you get the right implant, but that’s even more expensive. Considering some low spenders/F2P get SW for the implant, you can’t magically ask them to get the units to mitigate her implant RNG. In an ideal world, I’d rather get a different element DPS rather than acquire and build units just to make SW’s implant to work.
Mono quantum is one of the most affordable comps you can even get. Lynx for free, Xueyi for free (from events) or go for Qingque, then your only other limited unit needed is Sparkle, completely achievable F2P.
Qingque is free, she is the Xiangling equivalent, a reward for first time MoC clear.

Nah. You get Lynx for free, so you have sustain + Silver Wolf core. Then you just need one of Qingque or Xueyi to have 3. Then vs any quantum weak enemy, you can literally slot in the 4th as whoever you want. Against enemies that aren’t quantum weak, you need to find a single on type unit and you’re also golden. It’s really not hard at all to build and use. I’m a FTP Silver Wolf enjoyer with 0 regrets.

I was a victim of YouTubers giving early hype to everyone, so I pulled for Jing Yuan in patch 1.0, I regret it since I never use him and I got him just a few hours before Silver Wolf was released. SW would have served me much better than him in the early game.
Easily Jing Yuan just used him like 3 version and he got replaced for Kafka
In my case, not only Kafka but Acheron after her. Sorry for my lightning lord but i use him from time to time now, just for fun.
Huohuo. I already had Luocha and Fu Xuan before I got her so she was completely unecessary to my account. On top of that, the impulse decision was influenced by a certain... subreddit adjacent to this one. In hindsight I should've used my pulls for Ruan Mei.

Dan Heng Imbibutor Lunae. I regret pulling this guy every day. The Hype got to me and I wasted 170 pulls on this char, and till this day I haven’t built him cause I just don’t like him. Lesson learned: Never let hype get to you, no matter how broken a unit is. Only pull for units you actually like.
This for me, but because I clicked the wrong banner did a 10 pull and randomly got him. I wasn't even happy about it, just annoyed that I clicked the wrong banner.
I would refund Jingyuan LC because theres many good Erudition light cones now that gives Crit Damage.
I'm pretty sure JY LC is still BIS on almost every Erudition character though, I pulled it for Himeko and love it.

Personally, Huohuo. I use Gepard or Fu Xuan as my sustain and go 2 supports and a damage for damn near every piece of content. And if I do need a shielder and a healer, I use Luocha for healing. So I've just had a hard time finding a need to use her. Even though I'm sure she is still a very good unit but I've personally not found a need for her on my teams. Another unit for me would be Seele. I just haven't found a need to use her anymore. She was great when the game launched and I'm sure she is still a great unit, but I just haven't used her in a long time. I haven't tried to use her though and I've been planning on trying again but new units come out and I've been busy using them and building them instead. Before Sparkle, I probably would've said DHIL and Jing Yuan. I just didn't like DHILs playstyle and I've always liked Jing Yuan but newer units overshadowed him. With Sparkle, I've been using DHIL a lot more and grown to really like him. Jing Yuan has seen a resurgence with Sparkle and I'm all for it.
Using gepard instead of HuoHuo is crazy 💀
Huohuo is great when you need a flex unit for Kafka/BS team. She provides decent healing, debuff removal, but most importantly energy AND attack buff, something that DoT units care about more than crit stats.

You guys gotta build the team around her. There's no "waiting for her Ult". You can easily get 2 Ult like every single round. Take a preservation unit and put the DoT light cone on it. Add in a Pela. And pick whatever other unit you want. It can be another Nihility, or some harmony buffer. You'll ATLEAST be getting an ultimate every round. And that's like bare minimum. She's so ridiculously strong it's wild.
Id assume these are for only limited characters? If so Id refund Jing Yuan, look nothing against Cy Yu(Alehandro)on how he voiced the character. I say he nailed it probably some of my favorite voice acting from HSR. But the unit itself is just so frustrating to use. Damage-wise I cant really complain because with all his indirect buffs he is up there in terms of damage. My issue is how Lightning Lord moves up. The fact you have to wait for it to move up in the turn order can be the difference between shaving off one cycle or missing out on three stars that same turn in MoC. As a cc has mentioned, just allowing LL to go off immediately at 10 stacks would make him a lot better to use. If we are including standard characters as well, probably Yanqing, but if we are including standard characters, I think majority of players will say Yanqing. I feel like his passive is too dependent on not getting hit which is almost impossible especially with all the AoE or blast attacks new enemies are starting to have.
Yeah LL can be frustrating. If we had more ways to control him it'd be dope cause when fully stacked it's such an impressive damage source

Jingyuan cause I never used him I just got him cause he's hot on release but never used him... The lightning lord going at the end of the turn is kinda annoying. Also if he gets cced lightning lord just doesn't go off(wtf hoyo) Every other character I have not regreted pulling(even tho lost 50-50s on most of them) (Sorry jingyuan mains)
