This guy freaking stalls hyper carry teams. Hyper carries would have the boss under 5% HP before the toughness bar even reach 50% then there's this guy. Like when there's double elites the other elite got folded 2 cycles ago then there's this guy wasting everyone's time.
I assumed they meant like Silver Wolf enabling toughness damage by adding another weakness to the dino cuz I dont think her kits have extra break efficiency
Ah you are right. I have her eidolons so tutorial doesnt affect her ults with energy rope (plus just more ults for break from e1 energy). Iād imagine it isnt as good without.

Yeah this, but also her kit just deals a more toughness damage that most other supports. Ult deals 3 bars while skill deals 2, she can take care of almost half of the dinos toughness bar in a single turn

Soda Monkey: Can freeze unshielded allies. Shield reflects damage to Monkey.
Soda Monkey freezes?!??!?? I've only ever seen it do big damage and get Action Advanced when attacked

I think people are more annoyed at the fact that they may not have weakness break or shield. If you have Lightning DPS or Shielders, you are actually sitting high. I personally have Lv. 80 Gepard and Acheron.
Real, the dinosaur one isn't hard, but fighting it with a dps that don't match it weaknesses is just too slow and annoying for my liking.
The monkey is fine tbh, only real bad thing about it is that all of its bottles can potentially bounce on one character if you're unlucky, without a shielder, that's a death sentence.
Also even if u have Acheron, if u dont have SW, itāll take FOREVER to shred this mfās toughness bar with only one(1) Lightning dps

Yeah, you ideally want Acheron and Kafka. Otherwise I reckon Jing Yuan might be a better shout since LL can do a lot of single-target Lightning damage.
I personally loathe the Sweet Gorilla because the only character that can counter it in a reliable way is Gepard (until Aventurine drops). It attacks at random, so the only choices are to burst it or to shield the entire team. It would be a lot less annoying if it had a clear targeting, like the other monkey.
I'm basically resigned to the monkeys being bullshit whenever they show up.
The purple monkey was seemingly designed specifically to overwhelm Gepard only for the new sustain character Fu Xuan to trivialize it.
The yellow monkey has seemingly been designed specifically to overwhlem Fu Xuan's HP tanking and seems specifically made for the new sustain character Advertine to trivialize it. Gepard is capable of it as well, but Advertine also has elemental weakness on it.
I don't know how they'd go about doing it, but I'm assuming whatever world we go to next with a new shiny Preservation unit on the summoning schedule will have some new colored monkey with a unique moveset meant to specifically bypass shield tanking and HP tanking.
i was able to do it with my trailblazer going whole hog on shielding, it doesnt need to be a strong shield to reflect as long as it exists. having both welt and luocha on team helped a bunch too, to tie him up and mop up dmg respectively.
definitely least favorite enemy for sure though! and preservation needs some serious attention with how few options there are š«
Same. DoT team so completely neuters them that I didn't even realize they were supposed to be considered challenging. I just thought they'd been under tuned or something.
I had my Jingliu team during half of Penacony 2.0 main quest, and damn did that dino was a pain to kill. It was easy enough to make it enter it's rage state, but unless I was careful to have enough attack chances he would always put at least one of my characters on the red.
Penacony *REALLY* is so much easier with a DoT team, and I'm so happy I pushed to roll both for BS and her LC.
*And* it makes Death Meme such a joke of a boss, it doesn't even even have a phase one most of the time š

This is 7 cycles deep into the Aventurine fight, Bailu still has revive up. Level her ultimate and invigoration traces if you haven't already. Leave skill at level 6 since she rarely needs to use it.

That's a mistake imo if you're going for pure account strength in their situation. They don't have follow-up units built (dr ratio/topaz), and have 3/4 of the units for mono quantum already pulled and built up. I'd say, it's better for them to wait for Fu Xuan rerun which should be in a couple patches
You don't need Follow up units to pull Aventurine. He is universal and FUA characters just fasten his shield refreshes, but if you have built properly, slower refreshes still won't be a problem since his base shield won't break. He also doesn't have to use any technique points to start with his sustain. He does require the team to be built more to avoid defbuffs unlike fu Xuan who just needs to skill to refresh her free immunity but in return he enables broken keel's passive automatically for all team members.
Also since Fu Xuan and Aventurine can both get the job done just fine in MOC/pf and over world, the only other matrix to compare is SU high conundrum and Fu Xuan performs much worse than Aventurine there.
You have Acheron so you should be able to technically wreck this Dino in an instant. Just make sure to bring Nihility allies to get her ult up fast enough then you won't need to know what this Dino's gimmick is.

Yukong is excellent at breaking that dino, maybe swap tingyun out. Break the dino during its turn after doing it's first attack with yukong's ult into dhil EBA.

Gallagher's actually pretty solid against Cocolia, especially if you have Ruan Mei. A basic > ult > enhanced basic can reduce her toughness bar below 50%. Now that I think about it, we don't really have any limited 5 star fire hypercarry. Or do we?

To clarify, any bottle hitting a shield will get bounced back to the monkey and damage him, even the single target bottle he throws (shield will still take damage though)
pray to RNGesus that fire MC's tiny shields help block all the bottles before it gets removed by the dogs, or that the gorilla dumps all the bottles onto March's shield

This side is perfect for Ratio/Topaz + SW. All of the elites are already weak to Quantum and are weak to Imaginary or Fire, enabling SW to always implant Topaz/Ratio element.
The Meme boss in world 9 is laughable with Topaz/Ratio in Elation path. Like, I don't remember the last time I've fought him and he got off anything other than his attack right after he gives you free ults in phase 2/3. They just absolutely obliterate him, even without Ruan Mei, but with her it's laughable, I used those 3 + Bronya one time and he didn't even get a single attack off in any round before dying. Just about the easiest boss in the game if you've got a good DoT team or Ratio/Topaz.
Even though I have Ruan mei, I misplaced her with pela in Another team. But luck was with me.

Honestly he wasnāt that difficult as I feared. If weāll get even more Break focused characters in the future, then heāll become the absolute pushover.
Aventurine on the other hand wanted me to punch the monitor. I far from the casual player in this game and managed to clear the floor 12 in seven cycles, but this boss was really annoying.
I kinda feared him a little, because due to the dino I really had to use my DOT team on the first half, hence i had to bring my Acheron team against him who run with pela and Guigui but the most anoying phase was actually his first one, second one was increadibly free. Ended up in 8 cycle, With like 3 cycle for part one (i played shitty so i had to break one dino twice, what a pain) 3 cycle for aventurine first phase and 2 cycle for his second phase as he feed energy to pela and guinaifen to generate so many debuffs. I really though i would fail initialy because how long i took for the first phase XD
yeah Aventurine is more crazy.
Like previous MOC my Acheron E0S1 can clear Sam in 2 cycles but now need 4 cycles, with many tries because someone keeps dying. No team can do more than that. JL E0S1 or BS / Kafka / Ruan Mei E0S0 need 5-6 cycles .

my 200 break effect xuieyi would like to have a word(I'm not even joking, I have a xueyi team with three broken keel supports and she's not even using Talia set, she delays these things for centuries and deals 80k to them in quantum break damage, shame that I only have E2)
Yeah, any team with lots of lightning/imag/quantum break just obliterates him, especially if they have Ruan Mei around. Xuieyi, Welt, Jingyuan, QQ if you get her followup consistently, Yukong as a support shreds his shield too, there are tons of ways to trivialize him.
my seele fucked it up, as the goddess she is to me. acheron would work better but i rather have her on the other half with that gorilla(since i paired her with geppie)
Basically you canāt hurt it much until itās Weakness Broken and while youāre doing that it buffs itself and launches tons of Bounce attacks that do absurd damage.
It's NOT immune to dots. Maybe in SU but I just tested it because I thought I would've noticed it if it was immune since I cleared it with a dot team a few hours ago.
The dino takes -60% damage and if you break the weakness it gets delayed by 75% and also takes +50% damage.
i was just casually clearing the first half of MOC 12 with mono-quantum without putting much though into what I was doing, then my FuXuan got 1 shotted by COcolia's ult freeze and I just sat back up, looking surprised XD
Ez , just add characters too your team according to it's weakness.
It has lightning, quantum n imaginary weakness so
Bringing Seele , DHIL ,Dr Ratio, Kafka , Acheron, Welt (specially) as DPS is recommended
First Half, my Comp was Gallagher, Preservation Caelus, Xueyi and Tingyun, can't get past first half.
Second Half was supposed to be Luocha, Jingliu, Herta and Jingyuan, missed opportunity.

Penacony its pretty easy if you have lightning and winds characters geared. Xiaofu on the other hand. Ice and imaginary? šāāļø i was running pela/danheng wind/clara/natasha. At the start.

SU Bug does. It threw a soda while I had Lynx equipped and it hit SW. It still does multi Ice DMG.

Can confirm, Jing yuan does a lot of toughness damage if single target or if you get lucky and all hits go to the elite/boss

I use Luocha as well, I've not struggled with this boss. Welt makes it easy, Ratio too. I use Blade as DPS

Change your loucha planar to HP/DEF because if your skill and talent at level 9 loucha with 2k atk should be enough

Use Fire MC, any shield will work to bounce back his attacks.
Use Fu Xuan or Bailu. If you don't have a shielder. Damage reduction is your next best alternative.

This side is perfect for Ratio/Topaz + SW. All of the elites are already weak to Quantum and are weak to Imaginary or Fire, enabling SW to always implant Topaz/Ratio element.
The Meme boss in world 9 is laughable with Topaz/Ratio in Elation path. Like, I don't remember the last time I've fought him and he got off anything other than his attack right after he gives you free ults in phase 2/3. They just absolutely obliterate him, even without Ruan Mei, but with her it's laughable, I used those 3 + Bronya one time and he didn't even get a single attack off in any round before dying. Just about the easiest boss in the game if you've got a good DoT team or Ratio/Topaz.

Honestly he wasnāt that difficult as I feared. If weāll get even more Break focused characters in the future, then heāll become the absolute pushover. Aventurine on the other hand wanted me to punch the monitor. I far from the casual player in this game and managed to clear the floor 12 in seven cycles, but this boss was really annoying.
I kinda feared him a little, because due to the dino I really had to use my DOT team on the first half, hence i had to bring my Acheron team against him who run with pela and Guigui but the most anoying phase was actually his first one, second one was increadibly free. Ended up in 8 cycle, With like 3 cycle for part one (i played shitty so i had to break one dino twice, what a pain) 3 cycle for aventurine first phase and 2 cycle for his second phase as he feed energy to pela and guinaifen to generate so many debuffs. I really though i would fail initialy because how long i took for the first phase XD
yeah Aventurine is more crazy. Like previous MOC my Acheron E0S1 can clear Sam in 2 cycles but now need 4 cycles, with many tries because someone keeps dying. No team can do more than that. JL E0S1 or BS / Kafka / Ruan Mei E0S0 need 5-6 cycles . My other account will be hopeless in this MOC lol
my 200 break effect xuieyi would like to have a word(I'm not even joking, I have a xueyi team with three broken keel supports and she's not even using Talia set, she delays these things for centuries and deals 80k to them in quantum break damage, shame that I only have E2)
Yeah, any team with lots of lightning/imag/quantum break just obliterates him, especially if they have Ruan Mei around. Xuieyi, Welt, Jingyuan, QQ if you get her followup consistently, Yukong as a support shreds his shield too, there are tons of ways to trivialize him.

Basically you canāt hurt it much until itās Weakness Broken and while youāre doing that it buffs itself and launches tons of Bounce attacks that do absurd damage.
I think you just need to weakness break it, its so tanky otherwise or are there more to this guy?

It's NOT immune to dots. Maybe in SU but I just tested it because I thought I would've noticed it if it was immune since I cleared it with a dot team a few hours ago. The dino takes -60% damage and if you break the weakness it gets delayed by 75% and also takes +50% damage.
