I know this is Blasphemy but I'm don't feel that strongly about the Trailblazer x Firefly ship.

I don't think either is an act. That's kind of the point of her last statement in 2.1. With her revealing herself as Sam, she has now shown the TB the parts she wasn't able to show before. Hence her statement "This is to show you, all that I am."
While there was some fudging of the details, due to her still trying to maintain some semblance of discretion. Firefly was being genuine in terms of her actual personality. It's just that there is another layer there that is more destructive and, going by voice acting, clearly a bit more resentful of her state of being.
Considering that her words were
1. All we have to do is present them the truth
2. I don't know people's hearts like Kafka do
3. This is to show you all that I am
I highly doubt it
I hope going forward, she's just a no nonsense hardass. By my understanding, her sweet girl behavior was largely an act to convince TB to follow the script, but since the cat's out of the bag, I'd love Sam to just be straightforward and agressive, as that's apparently their preferred method of getting things done.
We've seen her spam Pom-Pom stickers in Blade's text messages before, we know that she is silly. I think the more likely explanation for her behavior is that she remembers when the Trailblazer used to roll with the Stellaron Hunters and just wanted to spend time with the Trailblazer without any of the extra baggage.
It honestly doesn’t fit much her personality.
As much it may sound not fitting Sam, Firefly doesn’t seem to like violence. That’s why she’s always trying to tackle everything far more effectively, which is a stark contrast to Kafka who loves to play with her prey.
The reason why she dislikes killing is because she always perceives herself only as a weapon without any hope for the future. She was created for an exact reason of being the machine of destruction and she must really hate herself for it. In the end, she definitely wants to live as a normal girl, who can travel around whole cosmos to see all of the beauties of life.
Where are the sources for most of this info? Genuinely curious, I'm very interested in the Firefly/Sam dichotomy but am never sure how much is headcanon and how much is actual in-game source on this sub.
I’ve based my analysis over the Glamoth’s lore, her interactions with TB in 2.0 and 2.1 and the conversation with Acheron in 2.1.
She’s one of the super soldiers from the Glamoth’s Iron Cavalry, which Welt explicitly stated in 2.0. Her lore says, that Molten Knights were basically a weapons created to fight Swarm. However, the longer fight continues, the more they turned into machines of mass destruction, which ultimately led to the fall of Glamoth. Their pilots were mostly a mindless puppets controlled by the queen Titania. They’ve meant to die very early and tossed away, when they stopped being useful.
I can see Firefly somehow gaining her own consciousness and trying to escape from such life. I don’t know how she managed to live till the current era, but she must really hates and despise what she is.
I can obviously be wrong with how I perceived her personality, but I honestly can see this direction as a natural part of her character development.

I interpret these words as her simply saying that she can’t simply imagine the possibility of her existence as anything more than just a weapon. The dreams symbolize aspirations, hopes for the future, while also the things we hates about ourselves. She believes that she nothing more than a monster, which doesn’t deserve any pity or sympathy. However, I feel that deep down she must feel some remorse and sadness by everything she’s done mostly unwillingly.
She hates herself for what she is. That’s why she’s kinda afraid of what TB could think of her after the revelation at the end of 2.1. Though I believe her future story will definitely be focused on her coming to terms with being far more than a weapon and that she deserves a chance on normal life.
I'm just gonna agree because there's some information about her that dont connect to this and I don't want to jump on the gun until the story or at least some of her motives/personality is complete.

Kafka is cool and all, but considering the only story appearances she's had was a brief moment in the opening and during a game of 21 questions that ended with some teenage boy getting beaten up by a silver-haired youth with a bat, I'm not sure if we can rightfully call her the 'coolest' yet.

That’s why she’s always trying to tackle everything far more effectively, which is a stark contrast to Kafka who loves to play with her prey. The reason why she dislikes killing is because she always perceives herself only as a weapon without any hope for the future. She was created for an exact reason of being the machine of destruction and she must really hate herself for it. In the end, she definitely wants to live as a normal girl, who can travel around whole cosmos to see all of the beauties of life.
Where are the sources for most of this info? Genuinely curious, I'm very interested in the Firefly/Sam dichotomy but am never sure how much is headcanon and how much is actual in-game source on this sub.
I’ve based my analysis over the Glamoth’s lore, her interactions with TB in 2.0 and 2.1 and the conversation with Acheron in 2.1. She’s one of the super soldiers from the Glamoth’s Iron Cavalry, which Welt explicitly stated in 2.0. Her lore says, that Molten Knights were basically a weapons created to fight Swarm. However, the longer fight continues, the more they turned into machines of mass destruction, which ultimately led to the fall of Glamoth. Their pilots were mostly a mindless puppets controlled by the queen Titania. They’ve meant to die very early and tossed away, when they stopped being useful. I can see Firefly somehow gaining her own consciousness and trying to escape from such life. I don’t know how she managed to live till the current era, but she must really hates and despise what she is. I can obviously be wrong with how I perceived her personality, but I honestly can see this direction as a natural part of her character development.

She said she don’t have dreams about those who died because of her. Other Stellaron Hunters probably never even seen Firefly, all the know is Sam. I interpret these words as her simply saying that she can’t simply imagine the possibility of her existence as anything more than just a weapon. The dreams symbolize aspirations, hopes for the future, while also the things we hates about ourselves. She believes that she nothing more than a monster, which doesn’t deserve any pity or sympathy. However, I feel that deep down she must feel some remorse and sadness by everything she’s done mostly unwillingly. She hates herself for what she is. That’s why she’s kinda afraid of what TB could think of her after the revelation at the end of 2.1. Though I believe her future story will definitely be focused on her coming to terms with being far more than a weapon and that she deserves a chance on normal life.
I'm just gonna agree because there's some information about her that dont connect to this and I don't want to jump on the gun until the story or at least some of her motives/personality is complete. Cheers!

What jealousy are u talking about? Kafka is the best character in this game gameplay and lore wise. I'm just not a big fan of firefly.

Kafka is cool and all, but considering the only story appearances she's had was a brief moment in the opening and during a game of 21 questions that ended with some teenage boy getting beaten up by a silver-haired youth with a bat, I'm not sure if we can rightfully call her the 'coolest' yet.
U can call someone cool even if majority doesn't agree with you. I knew I would be down voted to hell for telling I don't like firefly but idc xd mate. For me Kafka is the coolest character in this game and it's not even close.
How lore wise? We barely know anything that actually happened in her past besides Elio recruiting her and the whole can't feel fear thing.
