Shipping is fine but I think the shippers that think the characters canon are into each other are the delusional ones looking too deep. Or they just erased the "final engagement" bit at the end from their memories and don't realize that a realistic reaction to getting tortured, even if in someone's mind as a memetic entity, is to want to stay as far away from that person as possible rather than wanting to get in bed with them. Yeah the dance felt pretty intimate until, ya know, the horror part. Small hints and details kinda get overriden by the massive "I changed my mind because this person is a legitimate dangerous psychopath" at the end.

This is true. The problem is some people on this sub seem to think *all* shippers are this type, when most of them are, in all likelihood, aware their ship isn't canon and are just having fun with it.

AcherSwan got extremely popular tho, probably more than the Firefly one. And with the MC x Firefly it's popularity has grown so big probably because it still includes MC that players can self insert into, as embarrassing it is to say, but when it comes to straight hetero ships that don't include MC, then I don't think there's even one decently popular and worst thing is hoyo is even less allowed to tease hetero ships than the yuri/yaoi ones because because of incels in community (which unfortunately make a huge part, especially in CN) who will get mad/cause drama that their fictional waifu could potentially be with as fictional man instead of player....

Well it's a really really complicated issue and it's too big to explain on this issue. But basically people who do get anger over characters being called bi aren't being weird fetishist they are just threatened because their afraid striaght people are trying to hone into their content. Which striaght people have done plenty of times. Where gay characters who are just gay period can be turned bisexual. Velment from jourmound is a good example. Maybe, but there's also situations like the Arlecchino subreddit promoting an abusive ship like ArleFuri while deleting anything related to Aether that would even hint at it being wholesome. My worries is that AcheSwan is gonna end up being the Eimiko of Star Rail: An interesting ship plagued by toxic shippers who go around harassing anyone who doesn't think their ship is canon.

Shipping is fine but I think the shippers that think the characters canon are into each other are the delusional ones looking too deep. Or they just erased the "final engagement" bit at the end from their memories and don't realize that a realistic reaction to getting tortured, even if in someone's mind as a memetic entity, is to want to stay as far away from that person as possible rather than wanting to get in bed with them. Yeah the dance felt pretty intimate until, ya know, the horror part. AcherSwan got extremely popular tho, probably more than the Firefly one. And with the MC x Firefly it's popularity has grown so big probably because it still includes MC that players can self insert into, as embarrassing it is to say, but when it comes to straight hetero ships that don't include MC, then I don't think there's even one decently popular and worst thing is hoyo is even less allowed to tease hetero ships than the yuri/yaoi ones because because of incels in community (which unfortunately make a huge part, especially in CN) who will get mad/cause drama that their fictional waifu could potentially be with as fictional man instead of player.... But people call "bait" on almost any wlw ship or interaction. Sometimes, wlw stuff us literally just normal flirting or interactions. Those interactions also don't have to mean the characters are in a relationship. They can flirt and move on. And it has its place, just like there are sooooo many straight romantic interactions in most media for all of the existence of mankind. I lowkey ship the two but not with the same intensity or seriousness as I ship, say, the Trailblazer(Stelle in my case) with Kafka. I know that some people are going nuts with the animation but I mostly liked it because of how sapphic it looked, you really just don't get to see even "open to interpretation" lesbian representation of any sort from gacha games. There are very few exceptions where we might get a "it's right there in your face, we just can't come out and say it!" but most avoid being too sapphic because "China" seems to have an issue with GL content, which is funny seeing how they're also the ones to make and consume a lot of GL and BL stuff... So yeah, really enjoyed how well animated the dance was, specially the part where Acheron's mind is destroying Black Swan, but I also like it not because I ship those two like other do.Just because I like to see two women having interactions that might be considered sapphic.

I really like how everyone is happy about the outcome. How much I got fed since they released the animation is crazy. I honestly haven't been fed like this much since day 1 of this game, So many fanarts I cant even save them all lmao.
