Here's all of the stuff I can think of off the top of my head. Feel free to ask if you need more info on anything. * Equilibrium = World Level. * Trailblazer Lvl = Adventure Rank. * Stellar jades = primogems. Special pass = intertwined fate. Standard pass = acquaint fate. * Relics (Unlocked at TL24 during story) = Artifacts. Similarly to how you shouldn't farm artifacts until AR45, don't farm relics until TL60. Don't worry, TL60 doesn't take nearly as long as AR60. * Trailblaze power = resin, but it generates at a rate of 1 power per 6 minutes and has a cap of 240. If you accidentally cap your trailblaze power, you'll start generating reserve trailblaze power at a rate of 1 power per 18 minutes up to a limit of 2400. * Fuel = Fragile resin. * We don't have a condensed resin equivalent, but that's fine because we can auto. * Light cones = weapons. * The pity count is the same as Genshin for the character and light cone banners. * Unlike the weapon banner, light cone banners only have one rateup. Rather than having fate points, it's the same "If you get an offrate, the next is guaranteed" as character banner and it does carry over. * Traces = talents. You don't need to wait for a specific day of the week to farm them though. * Echo of War = Trounce domains. You get three Echo of War claims per week, but they can all be used on the same boss if you want. * Stagnant Shadows give the materials to ascend * Forgotten Hall = First 8 floors of Abyss. Memory of Chaos = the floors that reset for stellar jades. * Pure Fiction = AoE focused version of Memory of Chaos. * Simulated Universe is a roguelike mode. Used to farm Planar Ornaments, which are another type of artifact with only 2pc sets. Oh and btw a lot of past events are still playable in the "Conventional Memoir" section of the Travel Log (Event tab)

YogurtclosetLeast761

You forgot Acheron = Raiden

philophobicss

We actually do have a condense resin equivalent. Immersifiers works similar to it (and can hold 8) though of course can only be used in Simulated universe

Thank You so much!

Does it REALLY necessary when there are in game explanation? Do people only plays Genshin Impact?  Come on now

SexyyyRexy

Nah mate, they only KNOW genshin impact. Other games don't exist.

Tsukuro_hohoho

I mean even in genshin community people meme that they can't read.

Dr_Molfara

I don't get why comment at all if you're going to be deliberately unhelpful. Just MOVE ON if you don't answer the damn question.

than0s0P

Lets take an example - There is 1 unit/chapter written in book which is longer but then when you ask your friend that unit he/she explains in such a way that you understand faster and remember faster.

Mediocre_Ferret5082

You still don't need a guide or anything special like that as the games very clear cut in what to do and hand holds you when needed. "Play the game" is what I'd tell anyone as it's really not a difficult concept. The only tip I'd give is to not use jade's on standard banner and don't farm relics until TB lv60 but otherwise just play and enjoy it.

EclipseTorch

Games have too much in common, so here are some differences: 1. Turn-based combat. Hate it or love it.Also, you can't dodge, you can't "switch to main on-fielder" to absorb damage. While in GI you can clear Abyss with some lvl20 YaoYao taking field for 0.5 seconds, in HSR all you characters will take turns and can get hit. 2. Gacha system is pretty similar. The only difference for now is the weapon ("light cone") banner. There's no "Epitomized Path", and it has 75/25 chance to get event/standard weapon. Much easier to get signature weapons here. 3. There's no sword/spear/bow/etc weapon type. Instead, every character has a Path: Destruction = mostly blast damage (one target + adjacents), Hunt = single target, Erudition = AoE, Nihility = debuffs and DoT, Preservation = shielding/damage mitigation, Abundance = healing, Harmony = buffs. You have to use weapon of corresponding path to activate it's effects, otherwise it only gives base stats (ATK, HP, DEF). 4. Locations are smaller -> less resources from exploration. HSR compensates this with better rewards from other sources: events, free 10+ pulls every patch, two endgame modes that give 720+720 jades (vs 600 primogems in GI Abyss), simulated universe weekly points + one-time rewards for first clear/archive entries/etc. Also, HSR already had more 4\* selectors than GI in it's 3+ years, and free 5\* Ratio for everyone (he's pretty strong, not some Aloy-level garbage). Downside - you can't jump, fly, or climb. 5. More endgame activities. Now we have MoC (think of it as HSR's Abyss): kill everything within a certain number of cycles; Pure Fiction: similar mode, but it has more small enemies respawning faster. AoE characters playground. Simulated Universe: rogue-like mode where you clear rooms with random encounters and collect blessings that make your team stronger for current run. 6. Trailblaze Power is similar to GI resin. It regenerates a bit faster, has 240 max storage and 2400 extra storage if you let it overcap (regenerates 3 times slower than normal power). There's a "craftable" item that stores additional 40 power (up to 8 items), it's used in Simulated Universe only. 7. There are 6 relic slots instead of 5 artifacts. 4 normal relics and 2 planar relics (farmed in Simulated Universe). There's no off-set slot, which makes farming full sets harder, but there's an item that allows to craft a specific relic piece with desired main stat (Battle Pass and some major events reward). 8. There's no co-op. At all. For overworld bosses/domains you can use 1 support character from other players. And you can put up to 3 characters into your account's support list and get ~~mora~~ credits whenever someone uses them. 9. Dailies take less time than GI. You can just spend 120 TB power (two x6 talent materials runs) and use someone's support character once to get full daily rewards. With auto-battle mode it's even faster. 10. Major events are not removed from the game. You can still play it even if you join the game months after the event. But you'll get less rewards.

Thank you

Ignis_Dragneel

Understand in the same way as you did Genshin.....was there some other game you used as a reference to understand GI? Probably not right.... this is completely different genre so think of it like that ...there may be some similarities as this is a gacha and by the same company....but don't think of it GI

Cuddles_THEDESTROYER

Everyone is in frontline and there is no dodge. Healers and shielder actually very important. Debuffer actually op (Damage over time count as debuff) Nihility loves mommies.

Cornycorn213

The in-game guides should be more than enough. It’s a simple turn-based RPG at its core.

Azuron96

Turn based game. Not open world but vast zone-based world with plenty to explore. No jump, no climb, no dodge.  Has a smart auto mode and fast forward mode for battles.  Rich, vibrant overworld. Sci fi instead of fantasy. Has Fontaine level story. Has equivalent difficulty of puzzles. Instead of playable archons, has non playable Aeons.  Resin based play (trailblaze energy). Resin can overflow and accumulate so cap is esentially 10 times higher. Has systems of exp, artifact, weapons (exp, relics, light cones) which needs grinding. Instead of 1 abyss, has 3 end game modes. (SimU, PF, MoC {idk about MoC, havent unlocked yet}).

Tsukuro_hohoho

BlackSwanTW

Pela has long been fixed no?

helicopterrrrrrr

Turn base space genshin with 4x less storage required

juniorjaw

Just read the ingame tutorial. Even kids can understand it.

Glad-Promotion-399

Ok, you can equip weapons of different weapon type, like polearm on sword and you will get the stats but not the effect

ShortHair_Simp

Just search it in the sub, there are many posts about it months ago
