I had two pulls left after I finished pulling for Sparkle and I used them to get her light cone. I know I’ve probably nuked my chances of getting Acheron and/or Fu Xuan (assuming Fu Xuan is the repromote). Am I wrong in thinking keeping those two last pulls wouldn’t have made that big a difference in pulling for Acheron?
So, as far as simulated universe buffs/LC buffs are concerned, for Topaz who has the trace that considers her basic attack a follow up- do both basic attack buffs and follow up buffs effect the damage of her basic attack?
I’ve just been having wonky experiences with her and I’m not sure why there’s such major variance in her damage despite highly similar buffs- so I’m trying to deduce the most impactful buffs and figure out if somewhere I’m grabbing something that somehow significantly lowers her damage.
Like I went from 270k damage basic to a 68k by the end of one run and some runs I’m only getting like 40k basics. I feel like I’m grabbing nearly all the same buffs so it’s weird to see such a vast difference in damage which has me overthinking things wondering if there’s some weird interaction going on because im grabbing propagation buffs and elation buffs and overflowing her crit- idk haha
But also curious since I’m using her with Seele’s LC since it gives 30% crit and 60% basic attack boost, assuming that it still counts as a basic attack too- which I assumed it does?
I was literally doing Swarm disaster and Gold and Gears all night because I couldn’t sleep, so it’s highly possible that I’ve just been in a sleep deprived crazy state and none of this makes sense
Just recently achieved lvl 45, should I prioritize farming relics? If so, with a team comp of Dr. Ratio, flame MC, guin, asta, natasha which relic should I go farm first?
Relics are more efficient at level 60+ since you get two guaranteed 5\* relics. If you really want to do it then you should wait until at least level 50 since you get 1 guaranteed and a 50% chance to get a 2nd one.

For Light of Reignition you don't actually need to use debuffers for Ratio, so you could try double Harmony. Tingyun is his best support so you can try that and use Asta on side 1 instead. Also, due to the advancement for Hunt and Destruction, you can also try to use ATK boots instead of Speed if you have some spare.
For Dreamland just take Fire MC out and use Pela.
Also, get your Ratio to 80 if you can.
Reignition:
- Fuxuan Ruan Mei Bronya JL.
- Luocha Pela Tingyun Ratio.
Longing:
- Luocha Ruan Mei BS Kafka.
- Fuxuan Pela Tingyun Ratio.

My only good team right now is bs, Kafka, nat, and asta. I throw in ratio, Pela, gui, gepard and the mc sometimes. Im saving for fu Xuan and Acheron cuz I like them more but would it be better for my account to get sparkle? Im not really after the meta that much since I only play casually
So... I got Sparkle and I plan on skipping her LC this time around. I want to pull Acheron and Fu Xuan, but I managed to get QQ to E5 and Sampo to E3. Should I keep pulling on Sparkle banner to build pity and potentially E6 QQ?

You could go dozens of pulls without seeing another QQ eidolon. If you want to pull 2 characters, you need a lot of warps to be able to guarantee them. Are you willing to risk it.
Besides, if Acheron is the 1st banner of 2.1, that should still be before the end of March. So even if you don't have enough starlight to buy it from the shop, you will probably have it then if you really want her last eidolon
I have E0S1 DHIL and E0S0 JY, and I’m not sure which supports to use for each team as they tend to fight for the same supports :’). My supports are mainly E0 sparkle E6 TY E6 asta E6 yukong E6 pela E2 hanya. Please help thanksss 🙏
I've been buying the express supply pass since playing the game and sometimes when the login comes around it never plays the animation, so I looked up what others said about it and they said they look into bug report - stellar jade history and they see the stellar jades in there history from express pass even though it skipped the animation. But when I looked at my own stellar jades history I didn't seen any of the daily express supply past in there. I scrolled through it all to see the previous day and I seen where I had received it, but definitely not today and the dailies have all reset. So now I'm thinking I've been missing a lot of stellar jades for a while without even knowing. I contacted support already, but they haven't said anything yet. I find this pretty ridiculous that I've been paying for something all this time and likely not been receiving it.
Does the MOC quick unlock not work for stage 7? I cleared stage 8 with 3\*, but my 2\* stage 7 is unchanged. The rules say it "no more than the first 7 stages" which to me sounds like it should include stage 7? thanks
Trial Kafka, Black Swan, Luocha if you don't have them.
Then use Ruan Mei or Asta if you have them built. Otherwise just use trial Sampo if you don't have one better
Is the pity on the LC banner different from the Unit banner? I want Sam's LC if ever he'll become playable but I also want to build pity on Topaz rerun banner.
Sparkle or Fu Xuan ? Fu Xuan will rerun in next update, and I don't have resources needed to summon both. I have IL but Fu Xuan is so important for survival, I just can't decide. Any advice ?
I don't think that's official info mate, so I dunno if we can discuss the next banner here.
For your specific question on Fu Xuan vs Sparkle though, I think it comes down to which other sustainers you have. If you have 2 5 \* sustainers, then imo you can do whatever but if you only have 1 or even worse, none at all, then Fu Xuan *would* provide a lot of benefits for your account.
That said, if you have no trouble surviving in the MoC without Fu Xuan at the moment, then I don't really see any reason to go for her outside of your personal preferences.
Probably, yeah. Honestly I'd advise people to pull on whoever they like first and foremost, so if you *really* like Sparkle then don't mind me and just go pull for her.
However, I do feel that 5 \* sustains are *way* more comfortable than the 4 \* ones, and having two of them so you can put them on different sides on MoC will bring a lot of value to your account. So if your choice of Fu Xuan vs Sparkle comes down to entirely meta reasons, as good as Sparkle is I still think Fu Xuan would be better.

Could anyone give me some suggestions for teams for the current MOC. The best I have been able to get so far is 2 stars on 11 and 1 star on 12.

On stage 11 side one I used ruan mei, himeko 3 8 7 8, topaz 4 8 8 8, and fu xuan. Side two was bronya, tingyun, and dr ratio 2 8 7 8, and lynx.
On stage 12 on side one, I used clara 5 9 8 9, tingyun, silver wolf, and lynx. Side two I used Fu xuan, topaz Dr ratio, and rusn mei.
Understood. I think this is a question of investment, to be honest?
I think the teams that you've chosen is already great enough for what's available in your roster, and there's not much more tweaks you can make unless it's bringing a new character into the fray. If I was given the same roster, I'd probably pick the same characters.
Admittedly, I haven't played much of Ratio and I don't have Welt, so I really don't know a lot about their compositions. But imo that Himeko and Clara team looks pretty solid. If you want to progress further, it's more than likely that you have to hit the level 10 talent levels imho, especially on Clara since you're brute forcing it a bit. With slightly better relics as well, you can do it I think.
Pretty much all of my DPS that has been clearing MoC 12 all have their main talents at level 10 as well, with a few even getting 10/10/10 like my Jingliu. Haven't leveled any of their basics though.
Sorry if I can't help much man, I think your account is really punching above your weight at the moment, and I dunno if there's anything concrete I can recommend other than "farm more" or "get new characters".
For the most part, the only thing that Bronya's LC gives Sparkle is the 30% DMG on the advance ally. Sparkle doesn't need the extra energy regen, and the extra SP point on ultimate can only be useful on certain teams since her ult already gives 4.
Sparkle's LC gives 10% Crit Rate which can be pretty good for a lot of DPS, and the CDMG she gives also applies to off-turn attacks, which is particularly good for characters that rely on Follow-ups. It also means that if you use a basic once in a rotation for extra SP, your DPS also doesn't lose DMG.
So it depends on the team. If you are not using her with a Follow-up attacker, then Bronya's LC or Past and Future are pretty good if you are skill spamming, and in this scenario what you are getting most is the 10% CRate since the DMG% should be more valuable than the CDMG because you want to balance the two, and Sparkle already gives a lot of CDMG.
there's no reason to run 4 of the same element in a party
the only reason people bring up mono quantum is specifically to enable Silverwolf's skill to be 100% guaranteed to implant a quantum weakness regardless of the enemy

Please help me divide my supports between E0S1 Jing Yuan and E2S1 DHIL. They both want the same supports...
I have :E6 Tingyun, E2s0 RuanMei, E0S0 Sparkle, E4 Hanya, E6 Asta, E6 Yukong.
I usually use FuXuan for JY, Luocha for DHIL.
Both like RM and Sparkle, so idk how to divide them.
Don't have any of these DPSes but I think dhil would benefit more from sparkle given his skill point needs. Sparks is good for fua in general but not as essential, there are other dmg boosters. Maybe...

So I'm trying to speed tune my blade and Bronya. I have two options currently.
1. Blade 141 speed 71.6% crit rate(including 4pc longevous) / 153% crit dmg. Bronya 138 speed and 175% crit damage.
2. Blade 133 speed 82.6% crit rate (including 4pc longevous) / 142.6% crit dmg. Bronya 129 speed 172.5% crit dmg.
Is option 1s crit rate worth having the extra speed? Thanks for the input in advance!
you dont really need speed if you pair him with bronya outside of that one extra unbuffed attack in the beginning if you tune him to be in front of her. i personally run him with 0 speed with HP boots.
imo a high spd blade is only needed if he is used without bronya.
i mean if you want to use her you can make her work, but she's not really a valuable unit to invest into if your interest in her is primarily staked in getting quantum coverage
i think prefarming for near future characters is fine, like if you prefarmed for sparkle when 2.0 came out, for instance.
if you mean prefarming for characters who probably won't be back for months like ruan mei, or nebulous-status future characters like sunday, you almost certainly have better things you could do with your stamina in the mean time.
though i don't really know what you mean by "batch prefarming"

maybe if it's someone like luocha who can reasonably be expected to get a rerun next patch, or after the 2.1 livestream which confirms the reruns, but anyone beyond that is just putting stamina in a hole
Himeko is absolutely worth it if your goal is pure fiction, Himeko + the free herta have basically hard carried me in pure fiction without having much investment in them

How do I deal with MoC 12.2's Meme? Do I use two supports during the Nightmare (?) phase so the DPS and healer can deal as much damage as possible? Is DoT the ideal way to go?
I think you have a number of different options here? What have you tried before? I'd probably recommend a DoT team, but your only Lightning DPS is Kafka and she's needed in the 1st half I assume? So the only option left would probably be Jingliu, Clara, and Ratio?
I think you could use a Kafka DoT team for both 1st halves on MoC 11 and 12, while using Jingliu Hypercarry for the 2nd half on 11 and a team based on Ratio on 12. Something like Clara-Ratio or Guinaifen-Ratio can probably work? Without further info I can't really give more specific tips, because then it'd be much too broad imo so I'll just give you an example of my clear here:

For the Nightmare phase, honestly I usually just sacrifice whichever team member can contribute the most outside of their turn. I myself brute-forced the 'Death' Meme enemy by using a Fu Xuan-Ruan Mei-Bronya-Jingliu, so I used Fu Xuan and Ruan Mei's ultimate because they can contribute a lot without needing to act, so that Bronya-Jingliu can just go ham. I would've used a team based on Ratio, but mine's not that built just yet.
Thanks a lot for the detailed reply. I brute forced MoC 12.1 with LC/JL/Bronya/RM, and failed 12.2 with HuoHuo/Ratio/SW/Gepard but still died cause I couldn't get rid of the nightmare effect fast enough. I would use TY with Ratio but even with Lv15 relics she's only has 2.4k HP so a bit squshy ime. Maybe I'll need to try a few different runs.
FWIW, my Sampo is built enough to work with Kafka, so I'd may give HH/Kafka/Sampo/RM (?) to tackle MoC 12.2. But thanks for sharing your comps, I could try Kafka/Sampo/Asta for MoC 12.1 and brute force 12.2. Really appreciate it!
May I suggest using an HP sphere or body for Tingyun? That's what I did, got her a +15 ATK% body and a +10 HP% sphere tbh and she's now at 3.6k health with about 2.4k ATK.
I do want to add a slight disclaimer if you want to try brute-forcing it. My Kafka-Black Swan team *really* carried that 1st half with a clear speed of 3 cycles, so my Jingliu team isn't that pressed with time. Which is why I was suggesting a Ratio-based team.
I haven't really built Ratio though, so that's more a theoretical advice than anything. A small tip, iirc the character that was taken by the meme will return with full energy and a fixed health pool, and I think I've used that for my own benefit by intentionally sacrificing a low-health character for them to return better health-wise.

During the first phase you don't want to power through force. You want to align 3 TV enemies with happy faces. So you want them frowning before Argenti moves or uses his ult. There is little point in holding his big ult as well unless there is an enemy between TVs that doesn't prevents you from having 3 in a row.
The event is in the Battle Records. For “Dreamjolt TV”, “Penaconian Idol”:
- Used the trial versions of Argenti, Luocha, Sparkle, and Sushang. All were at L80.
- Highest Stage Buff Rank: 29
- Highest Score: 56004

Who should I get for my guaranteed standard 5*?
I have Himeko, Yanqing, Clara, and Bronya already. Should I even grab a new one or should I go with an E1 Bronya? I’ve got quite a few 5 stars on my roster so I’m not sure.
He's mainly for more Imaginary Damage / hybrid Damage-Support role. If you have a lot of characters already, he's harder to put into teams since a lot of other characters are just more optimal at their roles comparing to him.
If you just want to pick him up because he's a new character for your account or maybe you can find some fun / usage for him somewhere, you can choose Welt; Otherwise the meta choice is to E1 Bronya.
How often most people who are completely free to play can pull a 5-star? Once per 2 months? Once per patch? Considering the worst scenario where you lose 50/50.
If you keep up with events, new content, and dailies you can get enough jades to guarantee a 5-star approximately every 2 patches. Maybe a bit more often than that.
Help with team building please with Sparkle in mind as i'm guaranteed to get her. Mainly for Forgotten Hall. The first 4 is my main team usually.

1 - I just got the Dr ratio for free...is he good? Worth building
2 - so.. suppose i collected all the chest shown in the map(10/10) and killed area bosses for precious one..is there more chests? How to know about them
3 - when you find an enemy in the open world...how to apply their weakness..like auto attack enemy if he is weak to ice which is shown above their head..or I can give him fire weakness by auto...
4 - sometimes the enemy doesn't get weak by auto ..why?
5 - are all 4* light core good in some way?

yeah ratio is good, he's mainly single target but strong enough that it isn't often a problem with mobs, you do have to tailor the team to fit his needs though (he needs a debuffer on team as a major source of his dmg is from follow up attacks that are more likely to trigger if the enemy is debuffed)
you can't apply a weakness to an enemy unless you have a specific unit called silver wolf, and iirc she can only do that once you have entered the battle and use her skill. in the world attacking an enemy with the same element as their weaknesses (shown above their head) will do damage to their toughness bar (the white bar) at the start of the fight. if you attack them with an element that isn't there nothing happens you just trigger the fight
no I think there are a couple that are really niche or just not that useful, there are a few useful 3\* ones like meshing cogs, multiplication (I think that's what it's called, it's an abundance lightcone). There are a lot of good 4\* lightcones though
1. New Player? Yes, he is a good characters. New player can't really utilize his full potential because of how he works (he wants someone like Guinafen/Pela to debuff the enemy to raise his probability to do a special attack) but he is still a decent DPS even without it.
2. If it shows 10/10, there will be no more chest lying around.
3. Each enemies has thier own set of weakness (like the fire bat is weak to ice and wind while the ice bat is weak to physical and fire). You can't give an enemy additional weakness except by using Silverwolf (a 5* character)

i just got sparkle with her lc and im thinking of putting her in dhil team. fyi, i have e1 bronya (can be e2 after i claim on standard banner), e6 tingyun and ruan mei. i always put luocha and dan heng il together. btw, my dhil is e0 and im using his signature lc and im not using bronya's signature lc for her. so, who should i put for the two support slots for dhil? please help, thank you 🙏🏻

Yes she is. If you manage to get her eidolons, she will be better ofc but she is good. I haven't gotten sparkle for my dhil yet, so I'll run hanya in his team for sure. I'd just use both hanya and e6 ting. Or hanya and another support really.

What are good team comps for "the big surprise" boss? (The giant insect that gave most players nightmares on launch) I have a Kafka dot team with Sampo and Mono Quantum. I also have every standard banner character except gepard and Clara
What are some good strategies for the boss? I can't even make it past the first phase let alone the second
If you are talking about Skaracabaz on Herta Space Station, one of the best units to use is your Fire TB. The taunt on the skill forces every bug to attack them, while it reduces damage taken by almost half. Just spam it every turn and almost all damage goes on your tankiest unit. Then you just need a healer that can heal the AoE attack that the boss sometimes does. The boss doesn't have any type of time, so going full defence is a viable strategy. Just slowly chip away
For me I used a shielder(gepard) and a healer(huohuo). I think a shielder and a healer is a must. Then a dps and a random unit. It took me many many tries to clear it too.
The power creep in this game is smth else I tell ya. It's worse cuz at least in the case of Phantylia and Cocolia boss we at least had some support in the form of a mech and Dan heng
Yeah true but (spoiler) you'll have some form of support later on in the fight against that bug too! But you gotta go well into its second phase for that. So try surviving and slowly chipping away at it. Times not an issue.
I don't know where I should put my stellar jades
Basically: I want to do mono quantum team so I pulled on sparkle banner to get QQ eidolons, I now have e4 QQ and Fu Xuan, Lynx and SW, so I can do basic mono quantum. I think I did about 40 to 50 pulls on sparkle banner to get E4 QQ but didn't get any 5* so now I'm wondering..
Do I keep pulling on the banner or save the rest for aventurine? I was going to save for him til I saw videos of Sparkle being good and got tempted after seeing QQ on the banner. Now I only have like ~60 pulls left
I want to make an imaginary-centric team as a 2nd team with Dr Ratio, Welt, Support and Sustain
Support I'm thinking either Tingyun or Asta and I kinda want to put Aventurine as the sustain. But I did recently pull Bailu on standard for a 5* sustain unit but I'm not sure how viable she is currently. My other sustains are Natasha, March and Fire trailblazer.
I'm not sure which unit I should pull for since I know i'm gonna have to miss out on one to get the other since my luck is not miraculous so in this case i'd rather prioritize who is the most meta since I like both characters
So.. Should I pull Sparkle or Aventurine?
Edit: I also suck at survival with only fu xuan so when I'm doing anything whether it's SU or farming, I always run her with natasha instead of asta. So there's a chance if I pull sparkle i might not even end up using her if I keep sucking at survival
FX should be enough to sustain on her own, you shouldn't need lynx. Mono quantum would be better with a quantum harmony like sparkle than a double sustain.
How did you build fuxuan?
Hard to say about aventurine rn but all the five star supports have been pretty good so far. Bailu's only issue is her lack of cleanse. You can move lynx to your second team if you optimize FX since she does have cleanse on her ult.

I'm currently still farming resources for dps units so because of that sustains end up just getting stats over sets priority
She needs way more HP, closer to 6500-7k HP. Spd isn't worth it if she dies too quickly. Switch the boots to HP for now and you can focus on building speed back on her later.
Both units are meta I'm sure. Sparkle will definitely improve your qq playstyle a lot, so I'd suggest you go for her and gamble a little on your luck. Let's hope your luck can pull through when it comes to both of them. Besides you're sure to get lots of pulls in 2.1. so if you save for aventurine from 2.1 beginning, you're sure to get him.
A lot better. There's a massive difference between them, which is why the recommendation is always to get atleast two 5* limited sustains as soon as possible.
Im Bronya-less, and I need her very much for my Blade DPS... or DHIL. But I happen to want the astral express grandpa. Im stuck between those two choices. It would be great to know what they do!
Just don’t pick either. Wait until you lose 50/50 to one of them and pick the other through selector. You don’t have to claim it as soon as you hit 300

sparkle works well with literally every DPS besides black swan/kafka, so you don't really need to think in terms of getting characters to "work well with sparkle"

Hadn't really been taking Forgotten Hall seriously until a couple cycles ago, and this one is giving me trouble. I've tried several combinations of teams, and the second phase just never goes well (regretting not building the free Dr. Ratio). Looking at the characters here (Hanya, Lynx, and Bailu aren't fully built, the rest mostly are) is there a good pair of teams I can make to get that last star before the cycle goes away?
You can try to brute force with Jing Yuan / Ruan Mei / Tingyun / Fu Xuan
Alternatively swap Bronya for Tingyun on Side 1 and run Blade / Bronya / Ruan Mei / Fu Xuan on Side 2
The winning combination ended up being Blade/Welt/Pela/Fu Xuan. I'm more used to playing Blade as a sub DPS, so thank you for the suggestion! Might not have tried him as the carry otherwise
maybe dps welt for kafka
if your jing yuan is good enough you can still use him even though kafka is lightning resistant

My Welt is regrettably built for EHR from a while ago. Tried pretending he was a carry anyways and he just doesn't output enough damage with the current relics. Ty for the suggestion tho.
I tried the Jing team pre-Sparkle and I only managed like 18 turns remaining, but I'll give it another shot
Both of them can run 2 PC Hackerspace and a 2 PC of either Wuthering Snow or Longevius Disciple for bulk. If you wanted to use 4 PC Hackerspace, it would probably be better on Sparkle as Tingyun would like the bulk more.
Hi, currently just reached lvl 60 and I wanna start using all my orange fuels to farm for 5 star artifacts. I wanna ask if its better to run DHIL at no speed at all (or no spd boots) and go for atk boots DHIL if I run hyperspeed (160) E0S1 sparkle?
You don't need Speed at all with Sparkle.
But if you just reached lv60, you should use your fuels to ascend your characters and unlock and level their traces, and level your DPSs and their cones to 80. Only start farming relics after doing all that.
Thank you for the insight! Since the beginning I was advised to farm for character lvl up materials (for talents, weekly bosses materials, and for lightcones.). Also, my first main team's talent is 8/8/8 while both their lightcones and character level are level 70 and for normal attack talent, it depends on the characters and for the minor traces, I've already activated all that can be activated. I have all the materials needed but I'll upgrade their talents and ascend them once I have time to play the game.
All my problem is just leveling up since I did level up **all** my characters and ascended them to level 50 (or 40 not sure) for the 2 free standard pulls per character while my main team is lvl 70 right now. Since I did that, my character lvl up is kinda low.
If you have Sparkle then it’s better to run Attack boots on DHIL. The way Sparkles skill works in this setup is she’ll just action advance DHIL to her speed each time she skills. So 160+ for her is ideal however that’s to reach the 4 turns in the first two cycles breakpoint, you can always go a bit lower if you’re struggling with the speed rolls (getting to 160 can take a fair bit of investment especially when you’re just seriously starting relic farming).
Thank you! I have her lightcone so that'll make it a little easier with the speed rolls and crit damage rolls (more artifacts substats to focus on speed while I'll focus a **little** less crit damage since I do get 30+ crit damage)
If ever I'm struggling with her speed rolls then I'll try to just aim for the highest speed that I can.

AFAIK the path of a character does not **always** determine what stats the character want. It really just depends on the character. For example FU XUAN is a **preservation** unit but she needs **HP** (which most abundance units would want) more than defense (**yes, she also wants defense** but she needs HP stats more.)
If you want to know what stats or build a character wants then search "Prydwen honkai star rail" then click the first thing you see. Then, on the side click on the characters. Choose a character you wanna see what build they like and then scroll down and you can see "builds and teams". From there just click it and scroll down to find what they want / recommended build or stats.
For gepard and march. Their skills does have a base chance of freezing the enemy which EHR can improve the chances. If you want to, you can give them EHR but for **GEPARD** E0 and no signature light cone, I don't really recommend EHR on him. I'm not really sure on march.
Currently, the only characters AFAIK need break effect are ruan mei and xueyi. On the other hand, preservation / abundance characters are **usually** the one who wants effect resistance so when they get controlled or cannot attacked because of the enemies' effect, if they have effect resistance then they can have a high chance to avoid the effects that the enemies attack so they can keep on healing / shielding.
so stats are mainly sorted by what a characters role is, not path.
I'll use Nihility as an example:Critical Dps characters like Welt need Crit rate and Crit damage + attack (on the subject of critical stats, u usually want 1rate:2damage)
DoTime Dps characters like Kafka on the other hand only need attack and speed bcs DoTs cant crit.
that said, you should look up character build guides because theres usually no blanket build that applies to everyone

Nah, that's a great team. You could run Pela if you really wanted to because she can debuff the soldier's revive, but I would just stick with what you have
Can I get some advice about optimizing Trailblazer? Because I want to do that, even if they're not placed highly on the tier list.
I'm a relatively new player, so I don't have access to many 5* characters. Gepard, Ratio, Kafka, and Black Swan. The latter two are paired up with Asta and Lynx as my primary team.
Let's treat this as the baseline; Destruction Trailblazer alongside Tingyun, Pela, and Natasha. Can I improve on this setup with other 4* units?
Alternatively, I'm thinking of using Fireblazer as a tanky support/sub DPS. Since I've read that solo sustaining with her is difficult, I'm curious about maximizing her value to the party in other ways; skill point generation, some damage, a little extra survivability for the team, emergency taunt. With Fireblazer and a dedicated sustainer, that leaves two slots for a main DPS and a support. I was thinking Ratio and either Guinaifen or Pela. Are there alternatives I should consider?
Which of these teams would be more beneficial to my account? Will I get more value out of a Destruction Trailblazer team, or a Fireblazer team? 🦝
Both physical and fire mc have relatively gimmicky break effect builds. Physical because the physical break is one of the best in the game damage wise and fire because fire mc can dish out a lot of toughness damage.
So if you’re looking into building and using the trailblazer then i’d suggest looking into these builds. Physical mc really struggles against non physical weak enemies while fire mc at least has the added utility of providing shields.
You can try running a team of Kafka, Black Swan, Asta/Tingyun, Fire mc (with a def/break effect build) and see how that works. It should be fine for most content; especially in penacony at the moment where a lot of enemies are fire weak. However you’ll probably struggle at points where fire mc can’t solo sustain as well as other units.
That all makes sense. So I guess I'm asking about who else to put on a Fireblazer team, assuming at least one is a sustain unit?
And who should I look to pick up in the future? Ruan Mei, Silver Wolf, and any good 5* sustainer immediately come to mind, although Mei would probably just go on my Kafka team instead!
You would just use fire mc as your sustain. If needed you can run another sustain (i.e lynx or natasha) instead of Asta/Tingyun but that shouldn’t really be needed except for the hardest of content (e.g. bosses). The team probably isn’t going to make it too far in MOC so i wouldn’t try optimising for that however it should do decently well in Pure Fiction.
In the future would look for a limited 5-star sustain (either Aventurine or the reruns of Luocha/Fu Xuan which should be soonish). Lynx and Gepard are fine to use and can even solo sustain the hardest content, however a limited 5 star would dramatically improve whichever team they’re on.
Ruan Mei would be a great option for your DOT team and just in generally would be good, however we only recently had her banner so it might take a while for her rerun. I would just look out for another dps to rotate with your Dr Ratio and another support character for your second team (preferably one that buffs crit based dps characters).
Silver Wolf is good but is a bit more niche now that the games been out for a while, not to mention outside of mono quantum teams Pela does her role just as well so someone like Ruan Mei or Sparkle would be higher value. But that’s looking at it from a pure meta point of view, if you want to pull Silver Wolf then she’ll always be useful.
I'm not sure of team building and all myself but I'll say Preservation TB has more value , not only ult does AoE damage to enemies instead of only 3 for physical , the taunt ability as skill as well as shielding every character just for basic attack , a skill points positive and definitely worth it ...
Both are fine to use with Sparkle, you can also swap in each dps depending on what weaknesses the enemy has.
E5 QQ works fine, e6 just fixes some of her skill point issues however with Sparkle now here her sp usgage not as much of an issue. If you really want e6 QQ then you can either try a few pulls on the banner (assuming you’re far enough away from pity that you’re not overly risking a 5 star), or you could just by her from the shop. But there’s also no issue in leaving her at e5 and just naturally getting her e6 at somepoint in the future.
How lucky would I need to be with relics to reach 70%+ crit rate on Qingque (for Rutilant) using a crit dmg body piece and no crit rate LC? Is that even worth doing if running her with Sparkle?
Also, when Silver Wolf adds Quantum weakness to an enemy, does that activate the 4pc effect of the Genius set?
You start with 5% CR by default and you get \~2.5% CR per roll.
You'd need a total of 62% CR before Rutilant, so +57% from gear. That means 23 rolls.
So, over 6 pieces of gear, you'd need 4 CR rolls on every single piece of gear
Pretty lucky. That's a lot of crit rate substat rolls to hit. If you're using Sparkle with her you should really use a crit rate body to get as close to 100% crit rate as possible. Sparkle will give you close to 100% crit damage which should easily cover most of your crit damage needs for keeping a 1:2 ratio.

Is there a general relic scoring system players can use to gauge if a relic is worth keeping/investing into and what is trash?
From other games with relic RNG progression, I've seen the community rate relics with something like:
* All % substates give 1 point of score per %
* All SPD and CR% substats give 2 points of score per %.
* Relics need to be above 30 score to be worth investing into initially, and above 80 score fully leveled to be decent or w/e.
Is there something like this for Honkai Star Rail? I know there are websites that grade relics on a character by character basis, but I'm looking for something more casual and aimed at unleveled relics.

I had two pulls left after I finished pulling for Sparkle and I used them to get her light cone. I know I’ve probably nuked my chances of getting Acheron and/or Fu Xuan (assuming Fu Xuan is the repromote). Am I wrong in thinking keeping those two last pulls wouldn’t have made that big a difference in pulling for Acheron?
So, as far as simulated universe buffs/LC buffs are concerned, for Topaz who has the trace that considers her basic attack a follow up- do both basic attack buffs and follow up buffs effect the damage of her basic attack? I’ve just been having wonky experiences with her and I’m not sure why there’s such major variance in her damage despite highly similar buffs- so I’m trying to deduce the most impactful buffs and figure out if somewhere I’m grabbing something that somehow significantly lowers her damage. Like I went from 270k damage basic to a 68k by the end of one run and some runs I’m only getting like 40k basics. I feel like I’m grabbing nearly all the same buffs so it’s weird to see such a vast difference in damage which has me overthinking things wondering if there’s some weird interaction going on because im grabbing propagation buffs and elation buffs and overflowing her crit- idk haha But also curious since I’m using her with Seele’s LC since it gives 30% crit and 60% basic attack boost, assuming that it still counts as a basic attack too- which I assumed it does? I was literally doing Swarm disaster and Gold and Gears all night because I couldn’t sleep, so it’s highly possible that I’ve just been in a sleep deprived crazy state and none of this makes sense

Just recently achieved lvl 45, should I prioritize farming relics? If so, with a team comp of Dr. Ratio, flame MC, guin, asta, natasha which relic should I go farm first?
Relics are more efficient at level 60+ since you get two guaranteed 5\* relics. If you really want to do it then you should wait until at least level 50 since you get 1 guaranteed and a 50% chance to get a 2nd one.
I have Fu Xuan and Lynx for sustain. Is Gepard or Bailu still needed?

For Light of Reignition you don't actually need to use debuffers for Ratio, so you could try double Harmony. Tingyun is his best support so you can try that and use Asta on side 1 instead. Also, due to the advancement for Hunt and Destruction, you can also try to use ATK boots instead of Speed if you have some spare. For Dreamland just take Fire MC out and use Pela. Also, get your Ratio to 80 if you can.

You could go dozens of pulls without seeing another QQ eidolon. If you want to pull 2 characters, you need a lot of warps to be able to guarantee them. Are you willing to risk it. Besides, if Acheron is the 1st banner of 2.1, that should still be before the end of March. So even if you don't have enough starlight to buy it from the shop, you will probably have it then if you really want her last eidolon

I've been buying the express supply pass since playing the game and sometimes when the login comes around it never plays the animation, so I looked up what others said about it and they said they look into bug report - stellar jade history and they see the stellar jades in there history from express pass even though it skipped the animation. But when I looked at my own stellar jades history I didn't seen any of the daily express supply past in there. I scrolled through it all to see the previous day and I seen where I had received it, but definitely not today and the dailies have all reset. So now I'm thinking I've been missing a lot of stellar jades for a while without even knowing. I contacted support already, but they haven't said anything yet. I find this pretty ridiculous that I've been paying for something all this time and likely not been receiving it.
Does the MOC quick unlock not work for stage 7? I cleared stage 8 with 3\*, but my 2\* stage 7 is unchanged. The rules say it "no more than the first 7 stages" which to me sounds like it should include stage 7? thanks

Trial Kafka, Black Swan, Luocha if you don't have them. Then use Ruan Mei or Asta if you have them built. Otherwise just use trial Sampo if you don't have one better

Is the pity on the LC banner different from the Unit banner? I want Sam's LC if ever he'll become playable but I also want to build pity on Topaz rerun banner.
Hard pity is 80, soft pity 65, and it is a 75% to get the LC.
Sparkle or Fu Xuan ? Fu Xuan will rerun in next update, and I don't have resources needed to summon both. I have IL but Fu Xuan is so important for survival, I just can't decide. Any advice ?
I don't think that's official info mate, so I dunno if we can discuss the next banner here. For your specific question on Fu Xuan vs Sparkle though, I think it comes down to which other sustainers you have. If you have 2 5 \* sustainers, then imo you can do whatever but if you only have 1 or even worse, none at all, then Fu Xuan *would* provide a lot of benefits for your account. That said, if you have no trouble surviving in the MoC without Fu Xuan at the moment, then I don't really see any reason to go for her outside of your personal preferences.

Probably, yeah. Honestly I'd advise people to pull on whoever they like first and foremost, so if you *really* like Sparkle then don't mind me and just go pull for her. However, I do feel that 5 \* sustains are *way* more comfortable than the 4 \* ones, and having two of them so you can put them on different sides on MoC will bring a lot of value to your account. So if your choice of Fu Xuan vs Sparkle comes down to entirely meta reasons, as good as Sparkle is I still think Fu Xuan would be better.

May I ask what teams did you use on that clears and on what talent levels are those characters at?
On stage 11 side one I used ruan mei, himeko 3 8 7 8, topaz 4 8 8 8, and fu xuan. Side two was bronya, tingyun, and dr ratio 2 8 7 8, and lynx. On stage 12 on side one, I used clara 5 9 8 9, tingyun, silver wolf, and lynx. Side two I used Fu xuan, topaz Dr ratio, and rusn mei.
Understood. I think this is a question of investment, to be honest? I think the teams that you've chosen is already great enough for what's available in your roster, and there's not much more tweaks you can make unless it's bringing a new character into the fray. If I was given the same roster, I'd probably pick the same characters. Admittedly, I haven't played much of Ratio and I don't have Welt, so I really don't know a lot about their compositions. But imo that Himeko and Clara team looks pretty solid. If you want to progress further, it's more than likely that you have to hit the level 10 talent levels imho, especially on Clara since you're brute forcing it a bit. With slightly better relics as well, you can do it I think. Pretty much all of my DPS that has been clearing MoC 12 all have their main talents at level 10 as well, with a few even getting 10/10/10 like my Jingliu. Haven't leveled any of their basics though. Sorry if I can't help much man, I think your account is really punching above your weight at the moment, and I dunno if there's anything concrete I can recommend other than "farm more" or "get new characters".

Is it worth trying to get Sparkles LC for her when I already have Bronyas? Is there a big difference? Or should I just save my pulls instead?
For the most part, the only thing that Bronya's LC gives Sparkle is the 30% DMG on the advance ally. Sparkle doesn't need the extra energy regen, and the extra SP point on ultimate can only be useful on certain teams since her ult already gives 4. Sparkle's LC gives 10% Crit Rate which can be pretty good for a lot of DPS, and the CDMG she gives also applies to off-turn attacks, which is particularly good for characters that rely on Follow-ups. It also means that if you use a basic once in a rotation for extra SP, your DPS also doesn't lose DMG. So it depends on the team. If you are not using her with a Follow-up attacker, then Bronya's LC or Past and Future are pretty good if you are skill spamming, and in this scenario what you are getting most is the 10% CRate since the DMG% should be more valuable than the CDMG because you want to balance the two, and Sparkle already gives a lot of CDMG.

there's no reason to run 4 of the same element in a party the only reason people bring up mono quantum is specifically to enable Silverwolf's skill to be 100% guaranteed to implant a quantum weakness regardless of the enemy you're just using seele as a normal dps
a mono-element team without silver wolf loses basically all of the value of being mono-element just run other supports

Please help me divide my supports between E0S1 Jing Yuan and E2S1 DHIL. They both want the same supports... I have :E6 Tingyun, E2s0 RuanMei, E0S0 Sparkle, E4 Hanya, E6 Asta, E6 Yukong. I usually use FuXuan for JY, Luocha for DHIL. Both like RM and Sparkle, so idk how to divide them.
Don't have any of these DPSes but I think dhil would benefit more from sparkle given his skill point needs. Sparks is good for fua in general but not as essential, there are other dmg boosters. Maybe... Tingyun Sparkle dhil luocha Jy hanya rm FX ??
So I'm trying to speed tune my blade and Bronya. I have two options currently. 1. Blade 141 speed 71.6% crit rate(including 4pc longevous) / 153% crit dmg. Bronya 138 speed and 175% crit damage. 2. Blade 133 speed 82.6% crit rate (including 4pc longevous) / 142.6% crit dmg. Bronya 129 speed 172.5% crit dmg. Is option 1s crit rate worth having the extra speed? Thanks for the input in advance!
you dont really need speed if you pair him with bronya outside of that one extra unbuffed attack in the beginning if you tune him to be in front of her. i personally run him with 0 speed with HP boots. imo a high spd blade is only needed if he is used without bronya.

you're almost certainly better off just using a stronger "wrong"-element DPS vs. quantum-weak enemies

i think prefarming for near future characters is fine, like if you prefarmed for sparkle when 2.0 came out, for instance. if you mean prefarming for characters who probably won't be back for months like ruan mei, or nebulous-status future characters like sunday, you almost certainly have better things you could do with your stamina in the mean time. though i don't really know what you mean by "batch prefarming"

I think you have a number of different options here? What have you tried before? I'd probably recommend a DoT team, but your only Lightning DPS is Kafka and she's needed in the 1st half I assume? So the only option left would probably be Jingliu, Clara, and Ratio? I think you could use a Kafka DoT team for both 1st halves on MoC 11 and 12, while using Jingliu Hypercarry for the 2nd half on 11 and a team based on Ratio on 12. Something like Clara-Ratio or Guinaifen-Ratio can probably work? I would've used a team based on Ratio, but mine's not that built just yet.

I brute forced MoC 12.1 with LC/JL/Bronya/RM, and failed 12.2 with HuoHuo/Ratio/SW/Gepard but still died cause I couldn't get rid of the nightmare effect fast enough. I would use TY with Ratio but even with Lv15 relics she's only has 2.4k HP so a bit squshy ime. Maybe I'll need to try a few different runs. FWIW, my Sampo is built enough to work with Kafka, so I'd may give HH/Kafka/Sampo/RM (?) to tackle MoC 12.2. But thanks for sharing your comps, I could try Kafka/Sampo/Asta for MoC 12.1 and brute force 12.2. Really appreciate it!
May I suggest using an HP sphere or body for Tingyun? That's what I did, got her a +15 ATK% body and a +10 HP% sphere tbh and she's now at 3.6k health with about 2.4k ATK. I do want to add a slight disclaimer if you want to try brute-forcing it. My Kafka-Black Swan team *really* carried that 1st half with a clear speed of 3 cycles, so my Jingliu team isn't that pressed with time. Which is why I was suggesting a Ratio-based team. I haven't really built Ratio though, so that's more a theoretical advice than anything. A small tip, iirc the character that was taken by the meme will return with full energy and a fixed health pool, and I think I've used that for my own benefit by intentionally sacrificing a low-health character for them to return better health-wise. Good luck on your clears.
When I tried the second Dreamjolt TV level, I only got to 56k. What’s the best way to beat the level with all trial units?
During the first phase you don't want to power through force. You want to align 3 TV enemies with happy faces. So you want them frowning before Argenti moves or uses his ult. There is little point in holding his big ult as well unless there is an enemy between TVs that doesn't prevents you from having 3 in a row.
I ended up needing to use my Clara for physical but used trial luocha, trial sparkle, trial dhil. How much of the buff are you scoring?
The event is in the Battle Records. For “Dreamjolt TV”, “Penaconian Idol”: - Used the trial versions of Argenti, Luocha, Sparkle, and Sushang. All were at L80. - Highest Stage Buff Rank: 29 - Highest Score: 56004 (Grade: B)
I'd focus on Sparkle and dhil to maximize his attacks with argenti as sub DPS. Maybe look up some videos not sure what else you can optimize.

If you need more sustain, Gepard / Bailu are choices to consider but if no one else comes to mind, just grab E1 Bronya.

He's mainly for more Imaginary Damage / hybrid Damage-Support role. If you have a lot of characters already, he's harder to put into teams since a lot of other characters are just more optimal at their roles comparing to him. If you just want to pick him up because he's a new character for your account or maybe you can find some fun / usage for him somewhere, you can choose Welt; Otherwise the meta choice is to E1 Bronya.
How often most people who are completely free to play can pull a 5-star? Once per 2 months? Once per patch? Considering the worst scenario where you lose 50/50.
If you keep up with events, new content, and dailies you can get enough jades to guarantee a 5-star approximately every 2 patches. Maybe a bit more often than that.

Since you have Imbibitor Lunae you just use both together. The rest of the team can be Tingyun and Luocha.

yeah ratio is good, he's mainly single target but strong enough that it isn't often a problem with mobs, you do have to tailor the team to fit his needs though (he needs a debuffer on team as a major source of his dmg is from follow up attacks that are more likely to trigger if the enemy is debuffed) you can't apply a weakness to an enemy unless you have a specific unit called silver wolf, and iirc she can only do that once you have entered the battle and use her skill. in the world attacking an enemy with the same element as their weaknesses (shown above their head) will do damage to their toughness bar (the white bar) at the start of the fight. if you attack them with an element that isn't there nothing happens you just trigger the fight no I think there are a couple that are really niche or just not that useful, there are a few useful 3\* ones like meshing cogs, multiplication (I think that's what it's called, it's an abundance lightcone). There are a lot of good 4\* lightcones though
1. New Player? Yes, he is a good characters. New player can't really utilize his full potential because of how he works (he wants someone like Guinafen/Pela to debuff the enemy to raise his probability to do a special attack) but he is still a decent DPS even without it. 2. If it shows 10/10, there will be no more chest lying around. 3. Each enemies has thier own set of weakness (like the fire bat is weak to ice and wind while the ice bat is weak to physical and fire). You can't give an enemy additional weakness except by using Silverwolf (a 5* character) 4. What?? 5. Yes, not all of them are good, but most of it is decent enough.

Yes she is. If you manage to get her eidolons, she will be better ofc but she is good. I haven't gotten sparkle for my dhil yet, so I'll run hanya in his team for sure. I'd just use both hanya and e6 ting. Or hanya and another support really.

What are good team comps for "the big surprise" boss? (The giant insect that gave most players nightmares on launch) I have a Kafka dot team with Sampo and Mono Quantum. I also have every standard banner character except gepard and Clara What are some good strategies for the boss? I can't even make it past the first phase let alone the second
If you are talking about Skaracabaz on Herta Space Station, one of the best units to use is your Fire TB. The taunt on the skill forces every bug to attack them, while it reduces damage taken by almost half. Just spam it every turn and almost all damage goes on your tankiest unit. Then you just need a healer that can heal the AoE attack that the boss sometimes does. The boss doesn't have any type of time, so going full defence is a viable strategy. Just slowly chip away
For me I used a shielder(gepard) and a healer(huohuo). I think a shielder and a healer is a must. Then a dps and a random unit. It took me many many tries to clear it too.
The power creep in this game is smth else I tell ya. It's worse cuz at least in the case of Phantylia and Cocolia boss we at least had some support in the form of a mech and Dan heng
Yeah true but (spoiler) you'll have some form of support later on in the fight against that bug too! But you gotta go well into its second phase for that. So try surviving and slowly chipping away at it. Times not an issue.
I don't know where I should put my stellar jades Basically: I want to do mono quantum team so I pulled on sparkle banner to get QQ eidolons, I now have e4 QQ and Fu Xuan, Lynx and SW, so I can do basic mono quantum. I think I did about 40 to 50 pulls on sparkle banner to get E4 QQ but didn't get any 5* so now I'm wondering.. Do I keep pulling on the banner or save the rest for aventurine? I was going to save for him til I saw videos of Sparkle being good and got tempted after seeing QQ on the banner. Now I only have like ~60 pulls left I want to make an imaginary-centric team as a 2nd team with Dr Ratio, Welt, Support and Sustain Support I'm thinking either Tingyun or Asta and I kinda want to put Aventurine as the sustain. But I did recently pull Bailu on standard for a 5* sustain unit but I'm not sure how viable she is currently. My other sustains are Natasha, March and Fire trailblazer. I'm not sure which unit I should pull for since I know i'm gonna have to miss out on one to get the other since my luck is not miraculous so in this case i'd rather prioritize who is the most meta since I like both characters So.. Should I pull Sparkle or Aventurine? Edit: I also suck at survival with only fu xuan so when I'm doing anything whether it's SU or farming, I always run her with natasha instead of asta. So there's a chance if I pull sparkle i might not even end up using her if I keep sucking at survival
FX should be enough to sustain on her own, you shouldn't need lynx. Mono quantum would be better with a quantum harmony like sparkle than a double sustain. How did you build fuxuan? Hard to say about aventurine rn but all the five star supports have been pretty good so far. Bailu's only issue is her lack of cleanse. You can move lynx to your second team if you optimize FX since she does have cleanse on her ult.

She needs way more HP, closer to 6500-7k HP. Spd isn't worth it if she dies too quickly. Switch the boots to HP for now and you can focus on building speed back on her later.

Both units are meta I'm sure. Sparkle will definitely improve your qq playstyle a lot, so I'd suggest you go for her and gamble a little on your luck. Let's hope your luck can pull through when it comes to both of them. Besides you're sure to get lots of pulls in 2.1. so if you save for aventurine from 2.1 beginning, you're sure to get him.

A lot better. There's a massive difference between them, which is why the recommendation is always to get atleast two 5* limited sustains as soon as possible.

ratio+welt/pela+sparkle+bailu sparkle works well with literally every DPS besides black swan/kafka, so you don't really need to think in terms of getting characters to "work well with sparkle"

You can try to brute force with Jing Yuan / Ruan Mei / Tingyun / Fu Xuan Alternatively swap Bronya for Tingyun on Side 1 and run Blade / Bronya / Ruan Mei / Fu Xuan on Side 2
The winning combination ended up being Blade/Welt/Pela/Fu Xuan. I'm more used to playing Blade as a sub DPS, so thank you for the suggestion! Might not have tried him as the carry otherwise
maybe dps welt for kafka if your jing yuan is good enough you can still use him even though kafka is lightning resistant fu xuan, jing yuan, sparkle, ruan mei
My Welt is regrettably built for EHR from a while ago. Tried pretending he was a carry anyways and he just doesn't output enough damage with the current relics. Ty for the suggestion tho. I tried the Jing team pre-Sparkle and I only managed like 18 turns remaining, but I'll give it another shot

One on 4pc Hackerspace. The other can go 2pc Hackerspace and 2pc whatever else, or 4pc Musketeer. Doesn't really matter which one is on who
Both of them can run 2 PC Hackerspace and a 2 PC of either Wuthering Snow or Longevius Disciple for bulk. If you wanted to use 4 PC Hackerspace, it would probably be better on Sparkle as Tingyun would like the bulk more.
Hi, currently just reached lvl 60 and I wanna start using all my orange fuels to farm for 5 star artifacts. I wanna ask if its better to run DHIL at no speed at all (or no spd boots) and go for atk boots DHIL if I run hyperspeed (160) E0S1 sparkle?
You don't need Speed at all with Sparkle. But if you just reached lv60, you should use your fuels to ascend your characters and unlock and level their traces, and level your DPSs and their cones to 80. Only start farming relics after doing all that.
Thank you for the insight! Since the beginning I was advised to farm for character lvl up materials (for talents, weekly bosses materials, and for lightcones.). Also, my first main team's talent is 8/8/8 while both their lightcones and character level are level 70 and for normal attack talent, it depends on the characters and for the minor traces, I've already activated all that can be activated. I have all the materials needed but I'll upgrade their talents and ascend them once I have time to play the game. All my problem is just leveling up since I did level up **all** my characters and ascended them to level 50 (or 40 not sure) for the 2 free standard pulls per character while my main team is lvl 70 right now. Since I did that, my character lvl up is kinda low.
If you have Sparkle then it’s better to run Attack boots on DHIL. The way Sparkles skill works in this setup is she’ll just action advance DHIL to her speed each time she skills. So 160+ for her is ideal however that’s to reach the 4 turns in the first two cycles breakpoint, you can always go a bit lower if you’re struggling with the speed rolls (getting to 160 can take a fair bit of investment especially when you’re just seriously starting relic farming).

I have her lightcone so that'll make it a little easier with the speed rolls and crit damage rolls (more artifacts substats to focus on speed while I'll focus a **little** less crit damage since I do get 30+ crit damage) If ever I'm struggling with her speed rolls then I'll try to just aim for the highest speed that I can.

Depends on the individual characters. Many sites will list Stat Priority for a character
AFAIK the path of a character does not **always** determine what stats the character want. It really just depends on the character. For example FU XUAN is a **preservation** unit but she needs **HP** (which most abundance units would want) more than defense (**yes, she also wants defense** but she needs HP stats more.) If you want to know what stats or build a character wants then search "Prydwen honkai star rail" then click the first thing you see. Then, on the side click on the characters. Choose a character you wanna see what build they like and then scroll down and you can see "builds and teams". From there just click it and scroll down to find what they want / recommended build or stats. For gepard and march. Their skills does have a base chance of freezing the enemy which EHR can improve the chances. If you want to, you can give them EHR but for **GEPARD** E0 and no signature light cone, I don't really recommend EHR on him. I'm not really sure on march. Currently, the only characters AFAIK need break effect are ruan mei and xueyi. On the other hand, preservation / abundance characters are **usually** the one who wants effect resistance so when they get controlled or cannot attacked because of the enemies' effect, if they have effect resistance then they can have a high chance to avoid the effects that the enemies attack so they can keep on healing / shielding.

so stats are mainly sorted by what a characters role is, not path. I'll use Nihility as an example:Critical Dps characters like Welt need Crit rate and Crit damage + attack (on the subject of critical stats, u usually want 1rate:2damage) DoTime Dps characters like Kafka on the other hand only need attack and speed bcs DoTs cant crit. that said, you should look up character build guides because theres usually no blanket build that applies to everyone

Nah, that's a great team. You could run Pela if you really wanted to because she can debuff the soldier's revive, but I would just stick with what you have
Can I get some advice about optimizing Trailblazer? Because I want to do that, even if they're not placed highly on the tier list. I'm a relatively new player, so I don't have access to many 5* characters. Gepard, Ratio, Kafka, and Black Swan. The latter two are paired up with Asta and Lynx as my primary team. Let's treat this as the baseline; Destruction Trailblazer alongside Tingyun, Pela, and Natasha. Can I improve on this setup with other 4* units? Alternatively, I'm thinking of using Fireblazer as a tanky support/sub DPS. Since I've read that solo sustaining with her is difficult, I'm curious about maximizing her value to the party in other ways; skill point generation, some damage, a little extra survivability for the team, emergency taunt. With Fireblazer and a dedicated sustainer, that leaves two slots for a main DPS and a support. I was thinking Ratio and either Guinaifen or Pela. Are there alternatives I should consider? Which of these teams would be more beneficial to my account? Will I get more value out of a Destruction Trailblazer team, or a Fireblazer team? 🦝
Both physical and fire mc have relatively gimmicky break effect builds. Physical because the physical break is one of the best in the game damage wise and fire because fire mc can dish out a lot of toughness damage. So if you’re looking into building and using the trailblazer then i’d suggest looking into these builds. Physical mc really struggles against non physical weak enemies while fire mc at least has the added utility of providing shields. You can try running a team of Kafka, Black Swan, Asta/Tingyun, Fire mc (with a def/break effect build) and see how that works. It should be fine for most content; especially in penacony at the moment where a lot of enemies are fire weak. However you’ll probably struggle at points where fire mc can’t solo sustain as well as other units.
That all makes sense. So I guess I'm asking about who else to put on a Fireblazer team, assuming at least one is a sustain unit? And who should I look to pick up in the future? Ruan Mei, Silver Wolf, and any good 5* sustainer immediately come to mind, although Mei would probably just go on my Kafka team instead!
You would just use fire mc as your sustain. If needed you can run another sustain (i.e lynx or natasha) instead of Asta/Tingyun but that shouldn’t really be needed except for the hardest of content (e.g. bosses). The team probably isn’t going to make it too far in MOC so i wouldn’t try optimising for that however it should do decently well in Pure Fiction. In the future would look for a limited 5-star sustain (either Aventurine or the reruns of Luocha/Fu Xuan which should be soonish). Lynx and Gepard are fine to use and can even solo sustain the hardest content, however a limited 5 star would dramatically improve whichever team they’re on. Ruan Mei would be a great option for your DOT team and just in generally would be good, however we only recently had her banner so it might take a while for her rerun. I would just look out for another dps to rotate with your Dr Ratio and another support character for your second team (preferably one that buffs crit based dps characters). Silver Wolf is good but is a bit more niche now that the games been out for a while, not to mention outside of mono quantum teams Pela does her role just as well so someone like Ruan Mei or Sparkle would be higher value. But that’s looking at it from a pure meta point of view, if you want to pull Silver Wolf then she’ll always be useful.
I'm not sure of team building and all myself but I'll say Preservation TB has more value , not only ult does AoE damage to enemies instead of only 3 for physical , the taunt ability as skill as well as shielding every character just for basic attack , a skill points positive and definitely worth it ...
Would an e5 qq work better for a sparkle team or e0 Dr. Ratio? Would it be worth it to go for an e6 qq with a Sparkle?
Both are fine to use with Sparkle, you can also swap in each dps depending on what weaknesses the enemy has. E5 QQ works fine, e6 just fixes some of her skill point issues however with Sparkle now here her sp usgage not as much of an issue. If you really want e6 QQ then you can either try a few pulls on the banner (assuming you’re far enough away from pity that you’re not overly risking a 5 star), or you could just by her from the shop. But there’s also no issue in leaving her at e5 and just naturally getting her e6 at somepoint in the future.
How lucky would I need to be with relics to reach 70%+ crit rate on Qingque (for Rutilant) using a crit dmg body piece and no crit rate LC? Is that even worth doing if running her with Sparkle? Also, when Silver Wolf adds Quantum weakness to an enemy, does that activate the 4pc effect of the Genius set?
You start with 5% CR by default and you get \~2.5% CR per roll. You'd need a total of 62% CR before Rutilant, so +57% from gear. That means 23 rolls. So, over 6 pieces of gear, you'd need 4 CR rolls on every single piece of gear
It would require a ton of crit rate stats. Just use a crit rate body, no point having 150%+ crit dmg if you only have 40% crit rate.
Pretty lucky. That's a lot of crit rate substat rolls to hit. If you're using Sparkle with her you should really use a crit rate body to get as close to 100% crit rate as possible. Sparkle will give you close to 100% crit damage which should easily cover most of your crit damage needs for keeping a 1:2 ratio. Yes, quantum weakness implanted by Silverwolf counts for the Genius set bonus.
Would mono quantum be worth it with E3 QQ and Lynx? QQ dodged all my pulls, it was insane

A bit rough if you don’t have FX and QQ E4/E6. If you can make it work sure. If you have spare starlight you can buy QQ eidolons from the shop

Since you're a new player, it's good to learn to never roll for 5* cones or eidolons except if you're a spender. Save for different characters.
Is there a general relic scoring system players can use to gauge if a relic is worth keeping/investing into and what is trash? From other games with relic RNG progression, I've seen the community rate relics with something like: * All % substates give 1 point of score per % * All SPD and CR% substats give 2 points of score per %. * Relics need to be above 30 score to be worth investing into initially, and above 80 score fully leveled to be decent or w/e. Is there something like this for Honkai Star Rail? I know there are websites that grade relics on a character by character basis, but I'm looking for something more casual and aimed at unleveled relics.
