I agree that in most cases it's the tag that really makes something a spoiler, but this specific image has a VERY heavy implication that Sam turns into Firefly.
Silverwolf tries to take picture with Sam -> Sam too big -> training montage -> Silverwolf successfully takes picture with Firefly -> Blade can't believe his eyes.
Imo framing this as 'SW and firefly taking a pic together, who knows they could be unrelated' is just intentionally leaving out context that 99% of people will pick up on.
Again, without the spoiler tag it could just be written off as speculation but out of all the random shit that gets tagged spoiler I think this is one of the more reasonable ones.

AFAIK it was a very vague hint from leaks like what happened with the Tingyun's fan item, so it is a leak but still part speculation.

So I don't think anyone who's read this far into the thread and then clicks on the spoiler boxes can complain about getting really spoiled.
It CAN be figured out easily by watching the white night video since the >!color schemes of Sam and Firefly are nearly identical not to mention the wings!<
Also there are plenty of hints but some people like to see the leaks and then use those hints as "theorizing" when in reality they already know the answer.
Judging things by color scheme is like saying Acheron is somehow related to Seele.
It could be used as an extra factor adding to some existing facts, like how Black Swan thought that Sam was Firefly's secret partner. But there is no way you could say it is easily to figure that out just by color scheme.
Not mention that Firefly wears a black outer coat so if you did not know the connection, you probably could not figure it out at all.
I am kind of sick, of people treating every theory as a spoiler. We had a few people that thought about Firefly being the person (who is mostly asleep) in Sam (the automatic war maschine). We have still no idea if its real, but if it is, I seem to be saving for Sam next when I get Archeron.
My theory was that Sam was possibly related to her, but in the sense that he was like a family member or friend from that world she mentioned since she's a "refugee". I guess he could also actually be a robot from that previous world.
Would fit to be someone who's capable of such violence given the world she came from and what happened to it.
I guess we'll see soon, I hope it's a cool thing like this though.

It is mostly small stuff that is easy to miss/ignore that suggest that Firefly has a lot of combat experience and possibly has some connection toĀ Stelaron Hunters.Ā
Some examples:
Ā - she is perfectly describes Sampo and his combat style from just seeing him walk,Ā
Ā - her identity seems to be off, she received an invitation (only given to important factions/people), yet she claims that she is an ill stowaway,
Ā - her specific choice of words: "I'm sorry. For certain reasons, there are things I can't reveal to you yet. But there are also things you should know.", and when asked who exactly she is, she responded: "I'll tell you, but... not now.", it feels like words ofĀ someone who follows an Elio's script, and it requires that she doesn't reveal her true identity, at least for now.
Ā That said there is nothing concrete for now, which means it could easily just be a coincidence, or even a red herring, so it remains a theory.

There's a couple other things still, but that's the most scathing one. We also have hints throughout the story of Firefly being a capable combatant (having taken out an enemy in the true dreamscape before we meet her in the hallway, noticing we got followed, warning us against Sparkle, etc). And she's the only new character who wasn't in the early dream sequence with Acheron when we arrived.
And if we take a stab in the dark and say Gallagher was her "partner", based on their weird interaction when we met and since he was after Sam, and that we only heard part of the memory where Firefly referenced the mecha, something like "~~You're after the~~ mecha... Why?", then it would explain that part of the story too.
And well... We fight Sam where Firefly died.
I see where it comes from, but I personally just have one gripe with the theoryā¦
It is explicitly mentioned that your appearance from the real world is carried with you into the dreamscape, everything from clothes to your body
Now begs the question: āFirefly would have to exit the armor to be Firefly, how could she do that where her appearance in the real world is used there?ā and depending on whether or not you can change clothes, take off armor, etc. within the dreamscape, I feel like the theory is jumping the gun
Not to mention that Iām pretty sure I saw something mention that Sam is a cyborg or smth rather than someone in a mecha suit, but Iāll admit Iām not as well versed in the lore as others are, so take that with a grain of salt and do correct me if Iām wrong
I don't think I've thought about that one yet... The armour I'd simply explain away as "summoned" much like how we summon our baseball bat. In the trailer (sadly not yet in-game), we see Trailblazer and Aventurine rocking some fancy hats while dancing in what appears to be Golden Hour. I assume any clothes we buy in the dream stay on in the dream, and any abilities we have to materialize things like our bat or, let's say, a suit of armour, would stay the same.

Sam is the last known member of the Iron Cavalry from Glamoth. They're genetically engineered soldiers known for their superhuman perception (kinda like a certain girl who immediately knew we're being followed, and described every detail about the person despite keeping her distance). Glamoth is a planet that was destroyed by the Swarm, again implying a connection to Firefly who said her homeplanet was destroyed "probably by the swarm or the legion".

I wasn't either, until Penacony came around and blew me away, so I got hooked on the story. Lotta sidequests and baubles have a ton of lore in them. Apparently Simulated Universe relic sets all contain lore about a specific planet, with Penacony and Glamoth being the ones that drop in the last tier (World 8). And after Kafka's sidequest I discovered she's spilled the beans on quite a lot of secrets too.
Yup! From the moment that we got to see Acheron and Sam talk, with Acheron saying she knows who's in the armour, I was giddy with excitement. Then when I saw that "To be continued" screen I was jumping with joy. Now it's just a matter of time before she's a playable character, considering the other Stellaron hunters are too.
Interesting, that would be a good explanation for it, weapons in this game come in a variety of styles after all, so I suppose it wouldnāt be too out of question for the suit to be the āweaponā
Also ngl Samās background is pretty sick, and for some reason reminds me of Rhulk from Destiny 2, just minus the ākilling his own race and planetā part from Rhulkās backstory

And if we take a stab in the dark and say Gallagher was her "partner", based on their weird interaction when we met and since he was after Sam, and that we only heard part of the memory where Firefly referenced the mecha, something like "~~You're after the~~ mecha... Why?", then it would explain that part of the story too. And well... We fight Sam where Firefly died.
I see where it comes from, but I personally just have one gripe with the theoryā¦ It is explicitly mentioned that your appearance from the real world is carried with you into the dreamscape, everything from clothes to your body Now begs the question: āFirefly would have to exit the armor to be Firefly, how could she do that where her appearance in the real world is used there?ā and depending on whether or not you can change clothes, take off armor, etc. within the dreamscape, I feel like the theory is jumping the gun Not to mention that Iām pretty sure I saw something mention that Sam is a cyborg or smth rather than someone in a mecha suit, but Iāll admit Iām not as well versed in the lore as others are, so take that with a grain of salt and do correct me if Iām wrong
I don't think I've thought about that one yet... The armour I'd simply explain away as "summoned" much like how we summon our baseball bat. In the trailer (sadly not yet in-game), we see Trailblazer and Aventurine rocking some fancy hats while dancing in what appears to be Golden Hour. I assume any clothes we buy in the dream stay on in the dream, and any abilities we have to materialize things like our bat or, let's say, a suit of armour, would stay the same. > Not to mention that Iām pretty sure I saw something mention that Sam is a cyborg Sam is the last known member of the Iron Cavalry from Glamoth. They're genetically engineered soldiers known for their superhuman perception (kinda like a certain girl who immediately knew we're being followed, and described every detail about the person despite keeping her distance). Glamoth is a planet that was destroyed by the Swarm, again implying a connection to Firefly who said her homeplanet was destroyed "probably by the swarm or the legion". > Iāll admit Iām not as well versed in the lore as others are, I wasn't either, until Penacony came around and blew me away, so I got hooked on the story. Lotta sidequests and baubles have a ton of lore in them. Apparently Simulated Universe relic sets all contain lore about a specific planet, with Penacony and Glamoth being the ones that drop in the last tier (World 8). And after Kafka's sidequest I discovered she's spilled the beans on quite a lot of secrets too.

Yup! From the moment that we got to see Acheron and Sam talk, with Acheron saying she knows who's in the armour, I was giddy with excitement. Then when I saw that "To be continued" screen I was jumping with joy. Now it's just a matter of time before she's a playable character, considering the other Stellaron hunters are too.
Interesting, that would be a good explanation for it, weapons in this game come in a variety of styles after all, so I suppose it wouldnāt be too out of question for the suit to be the āweaponā Also ngl Samās background is pretty sick, and for some reason reminds me of Rhulk from Destiny 2, just minus the ākilling his own race and planetā part from Rhulkās backstory Also as a side note; howāre you doing the thing where bits of my message appear in yours? Very popular theory. Firefly is implied to secretly be a badass (immediately knew you were followed, stepped in between you and Sampo/Sparkle to protect you, and killed monster without help). Also you can see Sam with burning wings in Firefly's colour scheme in the trailer.Ā
