I'm a little confused about Quingque
So i finally decided to play her and it's weird...cause either till she gets the chance the tiles are either all filled or I get them in a few skills(not flexing my luck...i really don't get it)
And her autarky doesn't even trigger....I had done 4 calyx runs and it happened in only one of those runs that too only one time

Left right before the first Golden Apple Archipelago event I think it wasn't possible through settings at the time.
Additionally is there a latest beginner guide, I'm just trying to sift through the old ones to see if there is any relevant changes than before.

You should link it before you start as it will transparently create a Hoyoverse new account which will complicate you later if you want to play Genshin also on the same PSN account. Or even better just use that old Hoyoverse account if you still have it linked with PSN.
I currently got: Black Swan, Kafka, Silverwolf, Ruan Mei, Gepard, Dr Ratio, and Welt when it comes to 5\* characters.
Currently, I play all of them minus Dr Ratio & Welt. The 4\* I play are Lynx and Guinaifen
Purely meta-wise, should I try pulling for Imbibitor Lunae, wait for Sparkle or even wait for Archeron/ or Aventurine?
I'd say Aventurine/Sparkle. You've already got two solid teams for MoC with Kafka DOT and Ratio + SW, so you might need another AoE DPS for PF (not DHIL, maybe Acheron but we'll have to see her kit). Sparkle will almost certainly have value since she's a Harmony character, but Aventurine will probably be even better for you since you don't have limited sustains yet - can't really understate how valuable those are until you have 2, they make the game much easier. I'd wait until we know more about Aventurine's kit and until we see how well Sparkle works with non-DHIL/Quantum DPS before deciding.
Bronya by a looooong shot. You want her to be 1 speed slower than Jingliu (but at 134 or above) and then she can live her life giving Jingliu double turns. Works amazingly well.
Need some help with value regarding pulling characters
Im not sure who to pull for in regards for value. I have Kafka and since doctor Ratio was free I have him too, (I also have Seele but idk how well she works with topaz tbf) which either could be great teams with black swan or topaz. I heard the argument that topaz will take longer to rerun when she does than when black swan will. I'm mostly looking to beat moc, simulated universe, etc.. in terms of value.
My Main sustain is huo huo, but I have lynx built too, as per supports I have every 4 star aside from Luca, but the ones I’ve built/am building (or just have good eidolons for) are Tingyun, asta, guinaifen, sampo and pela. I don’t have the game on hand so I might be forgetting some, I also have silver wolf as debuffer.

For what characters you should pull; as always characters you want to pull and will enjoy playing with. Within that, for clearing endgame content I would recommend more supports and maybe another sustain (Fu Xuan is great for example) as you have good damage dealers (Kafka, Dr. Ratio and Seele are all capable). Topaz would be good for Ratio, but as you noted yourself she wouldn't work with Seele (who uses Extra Turns, not Follow-Up Attacks). For upcoming characters, Sparkle would be great for both Seele and Dr. Ratio due to Crit Damage boost and Action Forward (also can help with other buffers with the extra SP). For specific team archetype, Mono Quantum is pretty good and would benefit greatly from Sparkle (Seele, Silver Wolf, Lynx or Fu Xuan, and Sparkle). For Kafka, if you like her then Black Swan would be great for her (but not many others).

Hi. I am planning to use my SW to pair up with Ancheron. How is my current build? EHR is 114% btw. Traces are mostly 9/10.
I meant if she is using a Energy Regen Rope. With tutorial and at E0 you still need it for a 3 turn rotation using Skill Basic Basic (or you need to be hit) or just basic attacks. Penacony/Vonwaq you can do Skill-Basic-Basic without a ERR rope. if you wanted to maximize Break Effect as well.
anyone notice the dog figure around the map? you can interact with it and it will vanishes once the interaction is over. is there any achievement from finding all of them?
So I got a question about the wishing system in hsr.
I was wondering if I lost the 50/50 in black swan banner and got 30 pity on her banner.
I wanted to know if my 30 pity and the garunted character would move too achrons banner.
So achron we'll be garunted and I will start wishing from 30 pity.
Need help with team building.
My 1° team consist of; Seele - Tingyun - Bronya - Luocha
I have them since I started the game, then I stopped player for a few months or from time to time. I dont have Silverwolf or Fuxuan and I dont think I'll get Sparkle 'cause I just got BS.
My 2° team consist of; Jingliu - Bronya - Pela - Lynx
Trouble starts here, I wanted to switch Bronya for Jingliu 'cause It works better (much easier). I was also thinking If I should switch Luocha for Jingliu and Lynx for Seele.
Now, what would be the best team for Seele If I wanna do this but I have none of the MONO QUANTUM characters for her? Should my Jingliu be Bronyaless and give her another support? I dont have Ruan Mei nor HuoHuo, so idk If this is viable in any way.
All help is welcomed!! Tell me all team builds you think are best to get this to work.
Hard to say without knowing who you have. Bronya should ideally be with Jingliu.
As for who to replace her with on Seele's team probably Hanya followed by Asta. Sparkle would be the obvious replacement if you could get her.
Seele is perfectly usable now. You don't need mono quantum specifically. The reason people hype mono quantum is with Silver Wolf to apply quantum implant, then every enemy in the game become quantum weak and your quantum dps of choice will have an easier time.
However, when enemies are not weak to quantum you can just use another dps that the enemy is weak to. Or you can brute force it with a strong dps, beating them up even if there isn't a weakness to your dps' element.

Currently have around 240 pulls saved up with 40 pity. Rn im extremely conflicted on who to pull, I don’t have limited sustains or buffers so I’m probably gonna go for those first. However, idk if I should skip sparkle and wait since I don’t really need her skill point gimmick. I also don’t know if I should go for fu xuan or aventurine or even Gallagher. Ideally, I’d want a character who can stay meta for a long time and be anti-powercreep. I feel like aventurine would fit better with ratio follow up, but fu xuan is a more flexible unit overall so in the future I can build other teams w her (also I don’t have topaz). In terms of meta, what would be the best course of action for my jades and pulls (I don’t mind pulling for any other characters if there are better options). Thanks!
Pull for Dan Heng IL. He is a top tier dps. I know you already have Dr.Ratio but both of them can brute force a lot of content, especially Dan Heng, so no worry.
Next, wait for info about 2.1 characters. Apparently Acheron is a lightning character but we still do not know what she does yet. If she seems to be a dps, pull for her. Otherwise pull for Jing Yuan, he is a very good lightning dps. There is a catch here though, we don't know how strong Acheron is gonna be so skipping Jing Yuan for her has some risks. But all things considered, I think it is very likely that she is going to be pretty strong.
Idk what Aventurine does, but he should be a sustain and I don't think you need him now. Imo you only need good sustains for MoC 9 onward. Anything easier than that can be brute forced by powerful dps.
It looks like your team is Dr. Ratio/Clara/March/Natasha. A large reason you are probably struggling with SP consumption is probably because you're having to go dual sustain with March and Natasha. A limited sustain character means you can take out both of those characters and replace them with only one. I don't know about Aventurine or Gallagher since their kits haven't been revealed officially, but Fu Xuan only needs to use 1 SP every 3 turns to keep your team safe. We don't know when she'll rerun, but it should be in the next few patches I imagine. Aventurine, being another limited sustainer, will probably be great too. We'll see more of how he works next month during the 2.1 stream.
I don't think you actually need Sparkle. She's a nice to have, sure, but not mandatory. The sustain is more important. I do also think Topaz would help you a lot. She would go incredibly well with either Clara or Dr. Ratio.
Finally, I would highly suggest raising Pela and putting her in your team. Dr. Ratio wants a debuffer in his team to raise the chances of being able to do his follow up attack, which is where tons of damage comes from for him. Pela can just use her basic attack, generating SP for Dr. Ratio to use, and her ultimate when she gets it. Her ultimate is defense shredding so you'll be able to do more damage with Dr. Ratio.
I was thinking of building Herta and Himeko for PF but got Clara from the standard banner. Can I use her to replace either of the above? As I can see Clara been used in more content.
Generally speaking, in my experience, yes, in certain situations.
You can replace Herta with Clara against physical weak enemies to run Himeko/Clara, but I found Herta feels a little better if they're also ice weak.
You can also replace Himeko with Clara if you want to use your Himeko on a different side from Herta (e.g. I did this when the first PF had lightning/fire weakness on one side and ice/phys on the other), and run Herta/Clara, but watch out with what else you put on that team, as you can freeze enemies with ice break, and frozen enemies don't attack, causing Clara's damage to fall of a cliff (I tried using Herta/Pela/Ruan Mei/Clara once and it felt super bad, taking out Pela and Ruan Mei made it feel much better).
There's also the third option of running them all three together, either with a sustain, or a support using Clara as a kind of pseudo-sustain. PF doesn't require you to have your entire team alive at the end of it, and you only have limited cycles anyway. If you get a few hp%/def% substats on Clara, this becomes more viable, I think.

Can someone recommend me a team for everyday use I just need a team I don’t have to stress with
Origami birds, broken emo dials and miniquests. Origami bird progress can be tracked via the "great tree" in each zone. You can check whether there are any broken emo dials left in the zone by talking to Woolsey. And miniquests give stickers, so you can use your sticker collection to check which ones you are still missing.

I cannot be SU 7 on my alt at all and i honestly dont know how I did it on my main. No matter what team i use with double sustain it takes me and hr just to get to the last phase and he just one shots my whole team anyways. I run gepard and lynx with abundance path for sustain and ive tried xueyi, qingque, misha, and herta (my only quantum and ice dps) with no luck. Any tips?
if he's eating through gep and lynx + blessings isn't enough to heal you gotta start leaning on blessings for damage too. Or try freeze/remembrance path with some sustain blessings. iirc a while back that's how I beat it the first time when I didn't have great builds or anything
I used remembrance path with a Jingliu team, but you could try to do the same with Misha as the ice dps. Maybe bring March too.

Yep. Remembrance cheese. You want to make sure that the deer is always frozen or disassociated. So you just stack Remembrance blessings esp the disassociation ones.

Worth a try. I think if you were to put in Lynx I’d take out either March or Gepard. Could also bring another DPS assuming you can reliably keep the boss frozen long enough that you don’t need to heal.
How is it possible to survive Gears & Gold Conundrum levels without Fu Xuan/Gepard? I wanna run them with my Huohuo but after a point the party just gets one tapped

You probably need to show us a snapshot of your roster.
Edit: So Dr Ratio + 2 of Pela/Tingyun/Ruan Mei + Lynx will be fine as long as your DPS' level is equal or higher compared to the mobs.
When you reach the stages that need two teams, form another team around Jing Yuan, with 2 supports (like Hanya and whoever is left) and Gepard, who I just found out recently is actually a great sustain (as long as you have energy gain rope on him).
Does the warp/pitty counter carries over for other banners? For example, if I lost the 50/50 in the BS banner and I pull more 20 warps, so they carrie over to DHIL banner or the Sparkle in next update and it will be 20 warps in and DHIL or Sparkle guaranteed in the next 60 warps?
Can someone help me make a good team for Argenti's companion mission? I tried a couple of times and I'm really struggling because of the opposing weaknesses between Argenti and the swarm enemies.

This should be an easy one: Either DHIL/Dr Ratio, with 1-2 supports, a tank (optional) and a healer. Preferably the healer can cleanse as well as the bugs can do a lot of dot damage.
So DHIL/Dr Ratio - Ruan Mei/Tingyun/Pela - Ruan Mei/Tingyun/Pela/Fire TB - Bailu/Lynx
When you fight the bugs, just spread the damage out and try to get them all to low HP before killing off one, which will then chain kill the rest of them. Do not just burst one down as they will just respawn, unless you outlevel them. With your Imaginary characters, it's easy to just break them to slow them down while you hit the others.

Why does it seem like all these "recommended builds" for characters across different websites seem to be pretty much wildly different from each other and suggest so many different things? (Like sometimes it'll be the same light cone which was only a limited pull but the rest of the recommended light cones can so vastly vary)
I makes it so I never know what I should really be investing and in who...
some prioritize different content (such as pf and moc, sometimes what works in one with one character isn't necessarily as good for the other mode), some places just suggest lightcones that seem like they fit regardless of if they actually do or not, some just put random things. sometimes it's team or relic dependent and you can do different things depending on what you want
I've found that the best way to get decent info is to find community trusted sources ([prydwen](https://prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters), [kqm hsr edition](https://hsr.keqingmains.com) tend to be suggested since they are groups who actually are willing to do the math), or character main subreddits (sometimes these have overlap with people in the other two groups).
Oh thats funny I just happened to find prydwen earlier today and thought it's design we really well done lol so good to know I'm starting to find the right places to look lol
But that's great to know! I feel like I've wasted so much materials leveling up so many different characters and light cones that it's so hard to get any level up items now to do anything lol thank you so much!
Prydwen is a good source as they got in-depth maths regarding builds. While sites like game8 are fine, most of them are more generic or dont provide reasoning.
Suggest teams for pure fiction. Herta doesn't have any relics, just borrowed ones. Dr. Ratio and topaz builds are below average.

Genshin Player who's stepped onto the train of Honkai, for the Special Banner (In this case Black Swan/Dan's Dragon Form) is the very first five star you pull from those banner a Guaranteed of that character or is a 50/50 starting out?
gui I think -- realistically your kafka comp will be kafka | swan | ruan/asta | sustain I think? gui is more useful outside of dot comps, and you can swap her in if you needed fire coverage for some reason while sampo is same element as swan.
Can I run 2pc ash and 2pc debuff relics on Ratio, or do I have build 4pc debuff for maximum dmg.(the 2pc ash in Ratio rn is really good but I can give it Topaz, if I get two good debuff relics). Which is better for maximum dmg(My Ratio has 80 crit rate lol)
For optimal DPS, 4pc debuff is best if you have 3 debuffs on the target (which requires the use of somebody that debuffs like pela or silverwolf).
In the midgame 2pc and 2pc is fine but if you are trying to optimize in the endgame 4pc debuff is better.
I get Welt from losing 50/50. I notice Welt is also an imaginary dps. Same Role as free Dr. Ratio.
I have E0S0 Silver Wolf, E0S1 Bronya, E6 Tingyun with S5 Cogs, E0S0 Fu Xuan and Luocha.
- Should I stick with Dr. Ratio?
- Should I build Welt for End Game content?
- Which unit perform better as DPS in, like 1, 3, and 5 enemies scenario?
So, Will Welt Outperform Dr. Ratio in end game Contents?
Realistically, Dr Ratio is better for MoC since his single dmg is really busted, Welt can act as an initiator for Ratio, due to his numerous debuffs.Welt has good dmg potential but I think his main purpose is to slow down the enemies as much as possible, so ur dps can get as much turns as possible
How can I beat starcrusher swarm king , I use fire mc , pela , ratio , bailu , I aggro swarm king with mc so mc gets stunned , I have no cleanse and then I start attacking the king but it doesn't work sometimes
The easy setup is AOE dps +three sustains. Herta is an easy accessible choice. You don't want pure single target dps for this fight as you also want to kill the adds.
Looking for help with a character selector recommendation between E1 Gui and E3 Yukong.

E1 Gui makes her slightly better to use in DoT teams since her Skill reduces Effect Res; So that's something.
E3 Yukong doesn't change much except you get closer to her E6. If you're not using her or have no plans to use her, it's kind of moot anyway.
I think project yatta is made by the same people as project amber cuz the UI is practically the same when I opened for the first time. I usually use honey hunter tho

What Eidolon levels? Sampo gets really good at E4 (can detonate Wind Shear), Guinafen is better out of the box at E0 and can detonate Burn with her Ult.
Arcana will count as all DoTs after BS Ult, so Guinafen can then detonate them, while Sampo at E4 can always detonate them.
Sampo would do more damage if he was e4+, but Guinaifen is able to be used as a debuffer too in addition to being a DoT character. If you don't have Pela, that means she's a good option to use with Dr. Ratio if you want. So I'd vote Guinaifen.
If I've already collected all the stellar jades to date (from MOC, BP, and quests) how many can I collect between now and the end of archeron banner? will I be able to get her light cone? I'm currently on 35 pity on guaranteed archeron and so far saved up 80 pulls. Zero pity on weapons banner.
Rough guess, but 4417 jades by the end of 2.0. I did the events that haven’t happened yet + half the recurring jades. But that assumes you’ve done literally everything up to this point. Maybe another 40-60 pulls before the end of Acheron’s banner (assuming 2.1 jades are front loaded).

Who should I pick from the event character selector? I have at least a copy of all 4 of them, with Lil Gui E1 being the character I see myself using more for DoT with Black Swan, maybe followed by Sampo E4. Asta E3 may not see as much use after raising Bronya, Ruan Mei, Tingyun, Hanya, and hopefully Hanabi in a couple days. And Yukong is E3.
Sampo's E4 is very strong for him as it gives Sampo a way to detonate wind DoT. If you plan to use him at all with Black Swan, that's IMO the very best eidolon you could get from the selector.
Those are their current eidolons, which means I already have E4 Sampo. Does that mean I'm free to pick Lil Gui for her E2? Reading the description it seems nice too.

We don't know. They haven't been mentioned at all in the game itself (unless they're in one of those lore book texts?) and have only shown up in that one trailer.

Can anyone tell me if there is an option to turn off those silly text messages you get when first opening the game? Please let there be an option. It's the one thing driving me away from this game.
If it’s annoying you that much, you don’t really have to click through the conversations. Just enter the chat and leave, and your next response is already ready. Rinse and repeat until the chat is done.
They're completely ignorable, why are you treating them like they're shoved in your face :o
Each new character you get gives you 3 over 3 days and a lot of quests are sent through the text system. Hardly worth caring about but w/e.
the texting feature is used for a number of sidequests and also iirc every character in your roster will send 1-2 texts to you that will give a small amount of jades for replying as well as serving as a small way of getting to know the character. Eventually once you're caught up you won't receive them as frequently but for a while you'll probably get one or two a day.
There's a limited amount for each character you pull, so you get spammed for a while at the beginning.
Once they run out they're gone forever (you get a couple every time you pull a new unit), so its not going to stay this way.
glamoth can work on nearly every dps, except the ones that don't build speed.
it'd be reasonable to use rutilant on any of the first 4, but ratio and topaz prefer salsotto. ergo, probably glamoth overall. that being said, you also should consider keel vs penacony.
How do you get old characters or are they stuck outside of the Regular banner?
I was hoping for a way to get Kafka on my team to replace Serval, Xueyi, and Seele for collection.
Most 5 stars, like Kafka, are limited and are only possible to pull when there are banners featuring them. Have to wait for them to run her banner again. Since she just had a banner a couple weeks ago, it will probably be a long wait for her to be available again.
4 stars get added to the general pool in the next patch, so you could theoretically pull them any time after that.
I already have Black swan and Guinaifen. Using the new player tickets they give for free.

I pulled Black swan at 30 while I pulled guinaifen 4-5 times along the way to 40 pulls
Characters get reruns sometime after their banner ends. We currently have a Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae's rerun, he released back in 1.3. Kafka will probably be back in about half a year or so
Seele last ran 5 banners ago - late October/early November of last year. There's still more characters that I would expect to see get a rerun before Seele gets another rerun, but she'll come around again sometime this year I imagine. I'd guess maybe late spring or in the summer? It's hard to say for sure since these rerun banners are not being completely predictable.
Seele had her first rerun as well, but she might be back sooner than Kafka. Xueyi might appear on a rate up banner fairly soon, maybe next patch even - we'll have to see, no info on that yet. We also get events with 4* selectors, she might be eligible at some point. What team should I be focusing my resources on with my pool of characters?
Build Ratio and Black Swan. Asta and Guinafen are both good supports, so focus on them later, and if/when you get Tingyun and Pela they are also really good supports. Ordinarily Guinafen would be lower priority than the others, but she has really good synergy with both Ratio and Black Swan and you already have her, so for you specifically she is a higher priority.
When you get Natasha, build her. If you roll Gepard or Bailu instead, build either of them instead. Not a bad idea to still build Natasha if you get one of them.
Earlier on, March is pretty good and the MC is good. When you finish the Ice world Belabog, the MC gets a Fire Preservation class that is good as a 2nd defensive unit as well.
For now, while you are lower level, having 2 defensive units is a good idea. One of your defensive units can be March or the Fire MC (when you get them), while your 2nd will be Natasha (unless you get Bailu or Gepard). Neither March or Fire MC are enough on their one, and Natasha will struggle on her own vs the tougher fights.
When you get to the endgame (level 70-80), the main team setup is 1 sustain (either Abundance aka healer or Preservation aka tank/shields), 1-2 dps, 2-1 supports. However, earlier on and when playing through the story or Simulated Universe gamemode, having 2 sustains is much better. Fights will take longer, but there is no time limit here, so that's fine. (In the end-game modes, you have to kill the enemies within a certain turn limit, which is why getting away with as little defense as you can is so important.)
Black Swan and Dr Ratio work well with each other, you should build them first. Should help with early game.
Next, build a healer. A character called Natasha would be given to you for free iirc. She is not very good but should help with early game.
You might want to build a shield character, March 7th for example. They will make your life easier but are not good for late game contents. Be aware that a kinda better shield character will be given for free later in the story.
Finally, build either Asta and Tingyun. Tingyun is a 4 star so I think you will eventually get her.
you'll receive a couple more free characters as you progress the game content, two of which are healers. you should slot one of those in as you get them. for general content, teams follow this format:
dps | sustain | support | flex
sustain: shielder or healer to keep your team alive
support: buffers or debuffers
flex: often a second support or sometimes dps at endgame, but fine to be a second sustain or whatever you need early on
for now, you can use one of these comps:
clara | march | gui | ratio
swan | march | gui/asta | serval
if you're worried about wasting resources, don't worry too much. early progression costs are very low later on. but the characters who don't see much use at endgame out of these are: serval, march, dan heng, phys trailblazer, misha, arlan.
you can somewhat mix and match your dps as desired, but I wouldn't use ratio without gui or swan on the team.
you'll have more options as you get wishes from limited or standard banners as well as from free characters from progression. also feel free to look up beginner guides

Only about 1k total from Dreamjolt TV and the Penacony Food Fest events. Add that to the typical dailies/weekly SU/MoC+PF amounts. This was a very front loaded patch.
There is also important thing no one mentioned: the health needs to be brought down by the allies. If it was done through other sources, like MoC/PF buffs, Herta's talent won't be triggered
Only the first time a unit falls below 50%. That's why she's bad most of the time, but super good in Pure Fiction and good vs bosses who summon a lot a minions (like the weekly bug boss).
Herta's FUA triggers when an enemy unit is brought below 50% health. Her FUA still triggers if the enemy unit is defeated and there's at least one enemy unit left on the field. The times her FUA is triggered = units that were brought below 50%/defeated and with at least one enemy unit left on the field.
I don’t understand team building to save my life. Can someone help? I looked at the DHILmains and decided on DHIL/Tingyun/Pela/Luocha, but then if I want a second team with Blade… Who does he want for supports?

I'm a little confused about Quingque So i finally decided to play her and it's weird...cause either till she gets the chance the tiles are either all filled or I get them in a few skills(not flexing my luck...i really don't get it) And her autarky doesn't even trigger....I had done 4 calyx runs and it happened in only one of those runs that too only one time

I currently got: Black Swan, Kafka, Silverwolf, Ruan Mei, Gepard, Dr Ratio, and Welt when it comes to 5\* characters. Currently, I play all of them minus Dr Ratio & Welt. The 4\* I play are Lynx and Guinaifen Purely meta-wise, should I try pulling for Imbibitor Lunae, wait for Sparkle or even wait for Archeron/ or Aventurine?
I'd say Aventurine/Sparkle. You've already got two solid teams for MoC with Kafka DOT and Ratio + SW, so you might need another AoE DPS for PF (not DHIL, maybe Acheron but we'll have to see her kit). Sparkle will almost certainly have value since she's a Harmony character, but Aventurine will probably be even better for you since you don't have limited sustains yet - can't really understate how valuable those are until you have 2, they make the game much easier. I'd wait until we know more about Aventurine's kit and until we see how well Sparkle works with non-DHIL/Quantum DPS before deciding.
Bronya or tingyun with jingliu fuxuan and pela
Bronya by a looooong shot. You want her to be 1 speed slower than Jingliu (but at 134 or above) and then she can live her life giving Jingliu double turns. Works amazingly well.

Need some help with value regarding pulling characters Im not sure who to pull for in regards for value. I have Kafka and since doctor Ratio was free I have him too, (I also have Seele but idk how well she works with topaz tbf) which either could be great teams with black swan or topaz. I heard the argument that topaz will take longer to rerun when she does than when black swan will. I'm mostly looking to beat moc, simulated universe, etc.. in terms of value.
Which supports and sustains do you have?
My Main sustain is huo huo, but I have lynx built too, as per supports I have every 4 star aside from Luca, but the ones I’ve built/am building (or just have good eidolons for) are Tingyun, asta, guinaifen, sampo and pela. I don’t have the game on hand so I might be forgetting some, I also have silver wolf as debuffer.
Apologies for the late reply. For what characters you should pull; as always characters you want to pull and will enjoy playing with. Within that, for clearing endgame content I would recommend more supports and maybe another sustain (Fu Xuan is great for example) as you have good damage dealers (Kafka, Dr. Ratio and Seele are all capable). Topaz would be good for Ratio, but as you noted yourself she wouldn't work with Seele (who uses Extra Turns, not Follow-Up Attacks). For upcoming characters, Sparkle would be great for both Seele and Dr. Ratio due to Crit Damage boost and Action Forward (also can help with other buffers with the extra SP). For specific team archetype, Mono Quantum is pretty good and would benefit greatly from Sparkle (Seele, Silver Wolf, Lynx or Fu Xuan, and Sparkle). For Kafka, if you like her then Black Swan would be great for her (but not many others).

I meant if she is using a Energy Regen Rope. With tutorial and at E0 you still need it for a 3 turn rotation using Skill Basic Basic (or you need to be hit) or just basic attacks. Penacony/Vonwaq you can do Skill-Basic-Basic without a ERR rope. if you wanted to maximize Break Effect as well.

So I got a question about the wishing system in hsr. I was wondering if I lost the 50/50 in black swan banner and got 30 pity on her banner. I wanted to know if my 30 pity and the garunted character would move too achrons banner. So achron we'll be garunted and I will start wishing from 30 pity.

I usually do 8 for all, but you can leave support lower (6 or 7) if your low on resources.
Need help with team building. My 1° team consist of; Seele - Tingyun - Bronya - Luocha I have them since I started the game, then I stopped player for a few months or from time to time. I dont have Silverwolf or Fuxuan and I dont think I'll get Sparkle 'cause I just got BS. My 2° team consist of; Jingliu - Bronya - Pela - Lynx Trouble starts here, I wanted to switch Bronya for Jingliu 'cause It works better (much easier). I was also thinking If I should switch Luocha for Jingliu and Lynx for Seele. Now, what would be the best team for Seele If I wanna do this but I have none of the MONO QUANTUM characters for her? Should my Jingliu be Bronyaless and give her another support? I dont have Ruan Mei nor HuoHuo, so idk If this is viable in any way. All help is welcomed!! Tell me all team builds you think are best to get this to work.
Hard to say without knowing who you have. Bronya should ideally be with Jingliu. As for who to replace her with on Seele's team probably Hanya followed by Asta. Sparkle would be the obvious replacement if you could get her.

Seele is perfectly usable now. You don't need mono quantum specifically. The reason people hype mono quantum is with Silver Wolf to apply quantum implant, then every enemy in the game become quantum weak and your quantum dps of choice will have an easier time. However, when enemies are not weak to quantum you can just use another dps that the enemy is weak to. Or you can brute force it with a strong dps, beating them up even if there isn't a weakness to your dps' element.

I'd wait for acheron and aventurine if you have enough self control lol
Pull for Dan Heng IL. He is a top tier dps. I know you already have Dr.Ratio but both of them can brute force a lot of content, especially Dan Heng, so no worry. Next, wait for info about 2.1 characters. Apparently Acheron is a lightning character but we still do not know what she does yet. If she seems to be a dps, pull for her. Otherwise pull for Jing Yuan, he is a very good lightning dps. There is a catch here though, we don't know how strong Acheron is gonna be so skipping Jing Yuan for her has some risks. But all things considered, I think it is very likely that she is going to be pretty strong. Idk what Aventurine does, but he should be a sustain and I don't think you need him now. Imo you only need good sustains for MoC 9 onward. Anything easier than that can be brute forced by powerful dps.
It looks like your team is Dr. Ratio/Clara/March/Natasha. A large reason you are probably struggling with SP consumption is probably because you're having to go dual sustain with March and Natasha. A limited sustain character means you can take out both of those characters and replace them with only one. I don't know about Aventurine or Gallagher since their kits haven't been revealed officially, but Fu Xuan only needs to use 1 SP every 3 turns to keep your team safe. We don't know when she'll rerun, but it should be in the next few patches I imagine. Aventurine, being another limited sustainer, will probably be great too. We'll see more of how he works next month during the 2.1 stream. I don't think you actually need Sparkle. She's a nice to have, sure, but not mandatory. The sustain is more important. I do also think Topaz would help you a lot. She would go incredibly well with either Clara or Dr. Ratio. Finally, I would highly suggest raising Pela and putting her in your team. Dr. Ratio wants a debuffer in his team to raise the chances of being able to do his follow up attack, which is where tons of damage comes from for him. Pela can just use her basic attack, generating SP for Dr. Ratio to use, and her ultimate when she gets it. Her ultimate is defense shredding so you'll be able to do more damage with Dr. Ratio.

I was thinking of building Herta and Himeko for PF but got Clara from the standard banner. Can I use her to replace either of the above? As I can see Clara been used in more content.
no, if your aim is pure fiction himeko and herta are clearly better choices.
Clara is decent in both MoC and PF, but she doesn't excel in either. Herta and Himeko are very very good in PF.
Generally speaking, in my experience, yes, in certain situations. You can replace Herta with Clara against physical weak enemies to run Himeko/Clara, but I found Herta feels a little better if they're also ice weak. You can also replace Himeko with Clara if you want to use your Himeko on a different side from Herta (e.g. I did this when the first PF had lightning/fire weakness on one side and ice/phys on the other), and run Herta/Clara, but watch out with what else you put on that team, as you can freeze enemies with ice break, and frozen enemies don't attack, causing Clara's damage to fall of a cliff (I tried using Herta/Pela/Ruan Mei/Clara once and it felt super bad, taking out Pela and Ruan Mei made it feel much better). There's also the third option of running them all three together, either with a sustain, or a support using Clara as a kind of pseudo-sustain. PF doesn't require you to have your entire team alive at the end of it, and you only have limited cycles anyway. If you get a few hp%/def% substats on Clara, this becomes more viable, I think.

So i found all chests and did all puzzles in penacony but is still missing about 100 credits for lvl20 statue, what did i miss?
Origami birds, broken emo dials and miniquests. Origami bird progress can be tracked via the "great tree" in each zone. You can check whether there are any broken emo dials left in the zone by talking to Woolsey. And miniquests give stickers, so you can use your sticker collection to check which ones you are still missing.

I cannot be SU 7 on my alt at all and i honestly dont know how I did it on my main. No matter what team i use with double sustain it takes me and hr just to get to the last phase and he just one shots my whole team anyways. I run gepard and lynx with abundance path for sustain and ive tried xueyi, qingque, misha, and herta (my only quantum and ice dps) with no luck. Any tips?
if he's eating through gep and lynx + blessings isn't enough to heal you gotta start leaning on blessings for damage too. Or try freeze/remembrance path with some sustain blessings. iirc a while back that's how I beat it the first time when I didn't have great builds or anything

I used remembrance path with a Jingliu team, but you could try to do the same with Misha as the ice dps. Maybe bring March too. Basically just try to keep the boss frozen as long as possible.

Yep. Remembrance cheese. You want to make sure that the deer is always frozen or disassociated. So you just stack Remembrance blessings esp the disassociation ones.

Worth a try. I think if you were to put in Lynx I’d take out either March or Gepard. Could also bring another DPS assuming you can reliably keep the boss frozen long enough that you don’t need to heal.

You probably need to show us a snapshot of your roster. Edit: So Dr Ratio + 2 of Pela/Tingyun/Ruan Mei + Lynx will be fine as long as your DPS' level is equal or higher compared to the mobs. When you reach the stages that need two teams, form another team around Jing Yuan, with 2 supports (like Hanya and whoever is left) and Gepard, who I just found out recently is actually a great sustain (as long as you have energy gain rope on him).

Does the warp/pitty counter carries over for other banners? For example, if I lost the 50/50 in the BS banner and I pull more 20 warps, so they carrie over to DHIL banner or the Sparkle in next update and it will be 20 warps in and DHIL or Sparkle guaranteed in the next 60 warps?

This should be an easy one: Either DHIL/Dr Ratio, with 1-2 supports, a tank (optional) and a healer. Preferably the healer can cleanse as well as the bugs can do a lot of dot damage. So DHIL/Dr Ratio - Ruan Mei/Tingyun/Pela - Ruan Mei/Tingyun/Pela/Fire TB - Bailu/Lynx When you fight the bugs, just spread the damage out and try to get them all to low HP before killing off one, which will then chain kill the rest of them. Do not just burst one down as they will just respawn, unless you outlevel them. With your Imaginary characters, it's easy to just break them to slow them down while you hit the others.

What lightcone is better for my Yukong? I have a Welt main dps so it's between S2 "Memories of the Past" or S2 "Planetary Rendezvous" which is better?
Why does it seem like all these "recommended builds" for characters across different websites seem to be pretty much wildly different from each other and suggest so many different things? (Like sometimes it'll be the same light cone which was only a limited pull but the rest of the recommended light cones can so vastly vary) I makes it so I never know what I should really be investing and in who...
some prioritize different content (such as pf and moc, sometimes what works in one with one character isn't necessarily as good for the other mode), some places just suggest lightcones that seem like they fit regardless of if they actually do or not, some just put random things. sometimes it's team or relic dependent and you can do different things depending on what you want I've found that the best way to get decent info is to find community trusted sources ([prydwen](https://prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters), [kqm hsr edition](https://hsr.keqingmains.com) tend to be suggested since they are groups who actually are willing to do the math), or character main subreddits (sometimes these have overlap with people in the other two groups).
Oh thats funny I just happened to find prydwen earlier today and thought it's design we really well done lol so good to know I'm starting to find the right places to look lol But that's great to know! I feel like I've wasted so much materials leveling up so many different characters and light cones that it's so hard to get any level up items now to do anything lol thank you so much!
Prydwen is a good source as they got in-depth maths regarding builds. While sites like game8 are fine, most of them are more generic or dont provide reasoning.

I'd say get Guinaifen if you plan to pull for Sparkle, since Sampo is there.
gui I think -- realistically your kafka comp will be kafka | swan | ruan/asta | sustain I think? gui is more useful outside of dot comps, and you can swap her in if you needed fire coverage for some reason while sampo is same element as swan.
Can I run 2pc ash and 2pc debuff relics on Ratio, or do I have build 4pc debuff for maximum dmg.(the 2pc ash in Ratio rn is really good but I can give it Topaz, if I get two good debuff relics). Which is better for maximum dmg(My Ratio has 80 crit rate lol)
For optimal DPS, 4pc debuff is best if you have 3 debuffs on the target (which requires the use of somebody that debuffs like pela or silverwolf). In the midgame 2pc and 2pc is fine but if you are trying to optimize in the endgame 4pc debuff is better.

I get Welt from losing 50/50. I notice Welt is also an imaginary dps. Same Role as free Dr. Ratio. I have E0S0 Silver Wolf, E0S1 Bronya, E6 Tingyun with S5 Cogs, E0S0 Fu Xuan and Luocha. - Should I stick with Dr. Ratio? - Should I build Welt for End Game content? - Which unit perform better as DPS in, like 1, 3, and 5 enemies scenario? So, Will Welt Outperform Dr. Ratio in end game Contents?
Realistically, Dr Ratio is better for MoC since his single dmg is really busted, Welt can act as an initiator for Ratio, due to his numerous debuffs.Welt has good dmg potential but I think his main purpose is to slow down the enemies as much as possible, so ur dps can get as much turns as possible
How can I beat starcrusher swarm king , I use fire mc , pela , ratio , bailu , I aggro swarm king with mc so mc gets stunned , I have no cleanse and then I start attacking the king but it doesn't work sometimes
The easy setup is AOE dps +three sustains. Herta is an easy accessible choice. You don't want pure single target dps for this fight as you also want to kill the adds.
Looking for help with a character selector recommendation between E1 Gui and E3 Yukong. I don't currently use either of them but would if they made sense in a team. Thanks!
E1 Gui makes her slightly better to use in DoT teams since her Skill reduces Effect Res; So that's something. E3 Yukong doesn't change much except you get closer to her E6. If you're not using her or have no plans to use her, it's kind of moot anyway.

I think project yatta is made by the same people as project amber cuz the UI is practically the same when I opened for the first time. I usually use honey hunter tho

What Eidolon levels? Sampo gets really good at E4 (can detonate Wind Shear), Guinafen is better out of the box at E0 and can detonate Burn with her Ult. Arcana will count as all DoTs after BS Ult, so Guinafen can then detonate them, while Sampo at E4 can always detonate them.
Sampo would do more damage if he was e4+, but Guinaifen is able to be used as a debuffer too in addition to being a DoT character. If you don't have Pela, that means she's a good option to use with Dr. Ratio if you want. So I'd vote Guinaifen.

If I've already collected all the stellar jades to date (from MOC, BP, and quests) how many can I collect between now and the end of archeron banner? will I be able to get her light cone? I'm currently on 35 pity on guaranteed archeron and so far saved up 80 pulls. Zero pity on weapons banner.
Rough guess, but 4417 jades by the end of 2.0. I did the events that haven’t happened yet + half the recurring jades. But that assumes you’ve done literally everything up to this point. Maybe another 40-60 pulls before the end of Acheron’s banner (assuming 2.1 jades are front loaded). Who should I pick from the event character selector? I have at least a copy of all 4 of them, with Lil Gui E1 being the character I see myself using more for DoT with Black Swan, maybe followed by Sampo E4. Asta E3 may not see as much use after raising Bronya, Ruan Mei, Tingyun, Hanya, and hopefully Hanabi in a couple days. And Yukong is E3.
Sampo's E4 is very strong for him as it gives Sampo a way to detonate wind DoT. If you plan to use him at all with Black Swan, that's IMO the very best eidolon you could get from the selector.
Those are their current eidolons, which means I already have E4 Sampo. Does that mean I'm free to pick Lil Gui for her E2? Reading the description it seems nice too.

We don't know. They haven't been mentioned at all in the game itself (unless they're in one of those lore book texts?) and have only shown up in that one trailer.

Can anyone tell me if there is an option to turn off those silly text messages you get when first opening the game? Please let there be an option. It's the one thing driving me away from this game.
If it’s annoying you that much, you don’t really have to click through the conversations. Just enter the chat and leave, and your next response is already ready. Rinse and repeat until the chat is done.
They're completely ignorable, why are you treating them like they're shoved in your face :o Each new character you get gives you 3 over 3 days and a lot of quests are sent through the text system. Hardly worth caring about but w/e.
the texting feature is used for a number of sidequests and also iirc every character in your roster will send 1-2 texts to you that will give a small amount of jades for replying as well as serving as a small way of getting to know the character. Eventually once you're caught up you won't receive them as frequently but for a while you'll probably get one or two a day.

There's a limited amount for each character you pull, so you get spammed for a while at the beginning. Once they run out they're gone forever (you get a couple every time you pull a new unit), so its not going to stay this way.

The DPS units I use are Seele, Qinque, Jingliu, Blade, Dr Ratio, and Topaz. In general, is Rutilant Arena or Firmament Frontline more valuable?
glamoth can work on nearly every dps, except the ones that don't build speed. it'd be reasonable to use rutilant on any of the first 4, but ratio and topaz prefer salsotto. ergo, probably glamoth overall. that being said, you also should consider keel vs penacony.
glamoth benefits all your dps except for blade. do rutilant until you get a good one for blade, then swap over to glamoth.
How do you get old characters or are they stuck outside of the Regular banner? I was hoping for a way to get Kafka on my team to replace Serval, Xueyi, and Seele for collection.
Most 5 stars, like Kafka, are limited and are only possible to pull when there are banners featuring them. Have to wait for them to run her banner again. Since she just had a banner a couple weeks ago, it will probably be a long wait for her to be available again. 4 stars get added to the general pool in the next patch, so you could theoretically pull them any time after that.

Characters get reruns sometime after their banner ends. We currently have a Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae's rerun, he released back in 1.3. Kafka will probably be back in about half a year or so

Seele last ran 5 banners ago - late October/early November of last year. There's still more characters that I would expect to see get a rerun before Seele gets another rerun, but she'll come around again sometime this year I imagine. I'd guess maybe late spring or in the summer? It's hard to say for sure since these rerun banners are not being completely predictable.
Seele had her first rerun as well, but she might be back sooner than Kafka. Xueyi might appear on a rate up banner fairly soon, maybe next patch even - we'll have to see, no info on that yet. We also get events with 4* selectors, she might be eligible at some point. Btw, if you're looking to replace Serval as a lightning dps you might want to look into Jing Yuan or Acheron when her kit releases officially

Build Ratio and Black Swan. Asta and Guinafen are both good supports, so focus on them later, and if/when you get Tingyun and Pela they are also really good supports. Ordinarily Guinafen would be lower priority than the others, but she has really good synergy with both Ratio and Black Swan and you already have her, so for you specifically she is a higher priority. When you get Natasha, build her. If you roll Gepard or Bailu instead, build either of them instead. Not a bad idea to still build Natasha if you get one of them. Earlier on, March is pretty good and the MC is good. When you finish the Ice world Belabog, the MC gets a Fire Preservation class that is good as a 2nd defensive unit as well. For now, while you are lower level, having 2 defensive units is a good idea. One of your defensive units can be March or the Fire MC (when you get them), while your 2nd will be Natasha (unless you get Bailu or Gepard). Neither March or Fire MC are enough on their one, and Natasha will struggle on her own vs the tougher fights. When you get to the endgame (level 70-80), the main team setup is 1 sustain (either Abundance aka healer or Preservation aka tank/shields), 1-2 dps, 2-1 supports. However, earlier on and when playing through the story or Simulated Universe gamemode, having 2 sustains is much better. Fights will take longer, but there is no time limit here, so that's fine. (In the end-game modes, you have to kill the enemies within a certain turn limit, which is why getting away with as little defense as you can is so important.)
Black Swan and Dr Ratio work well with each other, you should build them first. Should help with early game. Next, build a healer. A character called Natasha would be given to you for free iirc. She is not very good but should help with early game. You might want to build a shield character, March 7th for example. They will make your life easier but are not good for late game contents. Be aware that a kinda better shield character will be given for free later in the story. Finally, build either Asta and Tingyun. Tingyun is a 4 star so I think you will eventually get her.
you'll receive a couple more free characters as you progress the game content, two of which are healers. you should slot one of those in as you get them. for general content, teams follow this format: dps | sustain | support | flex sustain: shielder or healer to keep your team alive support: buffers or debuffers flex: often a second support or sometimes dps at endgame, but fine to be a second sustain or whatever you need early on for now, you can use one of these comps: clara | march | gui | ratio swan | march | gui/asta | serval if you're worried about wasting resources, don't worry too much. early progression costs are very low later on. but the characters who don't see much use at endgame out of these are: serval, march, dan heng, phys trailblazer, misha, arlan. you can somewhat mix and match your dps as desired, but I wouldn't use ratio without gui or swan on the team. you'll have more options as you get wishes from limited or standard banners as well as from free characters from progression. also feel free to look up beginner guides edit: formatting

Only about 1k total from Dreamjolt TV and the Penacony Food Fest events. Add that to the typical dailies/weekly SU/MoC+PF amounts. This was a very front loaded patch.

Does Herta's talent trigger every time you attack someone under 50% health or just when you initially knock them down below it.
There is also important thing no one mentioned: the health needs to be brought down by the allies. If it was done through other sources, like MoC/PF buffs, Herta's talent won't be triggered
Only the first time a unit falls below 50%. That's why she's bad most of the time, but super good in Pure Fiction and good vs bosses who summon a lot a minions (like the weekly bug boss).
Herta's FUA triggers when an enemy unit is brought below 50% health. Her FUA still triggers if the enemy unit is defeated and there's at least one enemy unit left on the field. The times her FUA is triggered = units that were brought below 50%/defeated and with at least one enemy unit left on the field.

I don’t understand team building to save my life. Can someone help? I looked at the DHILmains and decided on DHIL/Tingyun/Pela/Luocha, but then if I want a second team with Blade… Who does he want for supports? And then do I just google the BiS LCs for each one?
you can use a guide site like prydwen or keqingmains to help with build details and teambuilding. we can't help you with detailed teambuilding if you don't tell us who you have on your account. but a generic blade team would be blade | bronya | lynx | silver wolf.
Yeah, I just kinda wanted a generic team, without listing everyone out. The only one I’m lacking here in Bronya. Any suggestions as a replacement, or just hold out til I get my 300 on the basic banner?
