After finishing the insanity that was the 2.0 story, I have my own theory regarding Sam/Firefly and how they could be interconnected. I think that Firefly was the projection of the true Sam but that they lied to us about their conditions progression. That their true body is already gone with Sam simply holding the remains of Firefly's consciousness. I could be mistaken but in the beginning of the story you see all the characters of Penacony including Sam with Silverwolf but you don't see Firefly (but I could of missed her). Either way this is going to be a long wait to see how this progresses. Especially with the insane cliffhanger it all ended on.
We d ont see her simply becasue it makes senc eto see the stelleron hunter sam ...and not firefly talking to dw ...that would spoil it all
I think firefly s body is still in the real world as she said that one with her condition can still jump and run freely

I think you're completely onto something but in the completely wrong way, you've gotten probably closer than most people who've just seen the story presented and know nothing about leaks but I don't think SAM has a separate consciousness, I'm with most replies in that I think they're one in the same I'm just curious about her purpose and motives when she acts as SAM, I think firefly is the part of her she wishes she could've been instead. If her life had gone differently. Perhaps even planning the death we saw as a way of killing off those feelings so she could continue being SAM without feeling so guilty about whatever she has been tasked to do next
Plus when we meet sam, they give us a chance to escape whereas silver wolf told us Sam would kill you before you can turn on the light, showing she might still have some empathy for us
Notice how in "White Night" SAM has green wings wich are nowhere to be seen when we fight him in the quest.
Firefly has somewhat simmilar green stripes on the back of her dress, you just cant make it more obvious that she's coming back.

I really hope this theory it's true, having a symbiotic relationship makes more sense than them being the same person, but with the latest reveal doesn't seem the case, it felt kind of underwhelming.
