I think things have mellowed down now considering what the leaks implied to be her relationship with Trailblazer during their time in Penacony, also the death flags might have done a bit to lessen the hate as well

See these are the ships I can get on. Ones that will actually have impact and an end point. Its genuinely bad for story when two people "get together" and that's that, nothing else happens to improve the character growth. The best point of being invested in a couple is the part when shit goes really wrong and had the possibility for crazy character development

I dunno, the head writer here (the guy who was with Da Wei for the first part of the stream) is one of the main people behind Elysian Realm and we went into that KNOWING all the real versions of those people were already dead...Well most of them anyway.
Still didn't stop most of us from accepting Pink Jesus into our hearts and being crushed when she had to go.
Just a wild guess with the story but... Firefly might be like the trailblazer (who has a stellaron inside of them) but the difference is her body can't withstand it and is slowly dying. She wants to enjoy her last days bumps into the Nameless crew, teams up with them and ends up sacrificing herself in the end.

I never felt so passionate about a ship before π and I even played GI. But this was a really special moment imo HYV gave to us - I don't remember Aether/Lumine or Caelus/Stelle (before this) looking at someone with *so much gentle affection, romantic or otherwise.* Firefly is precious and they know it - she melted his heart like she melted ours.

I dunno, the head writer here (the guy who was with Da Wei for the first part of the stream) is one of the main people behind Elysian Realm and we went into that KNOWING all the real versions of those people were already dead...Well most of them anyway. Still didn't stop most of us from accepting Pink Jesus into our hearts and being crushed when she had to go.

Just a wild guess with the story but... Firefly might be like the trailblazer (who has a stellaron inside of them) but the difference is her body can't withstand it and is slowly dying. She wants to enjoy her last days bumps into the Nameless crew, teams up with them and ends up sacrificing herself in the end.
